Then I found the Citadel guy's brother in the Horsehead Nebula after a fair amount of futzing about the system trying to figure out where the stupid ship was hiding. I missed it entirely in my 1st play through because I didn't realize that they hide stuff occasionally in the systems. Next I resolved Helena Blake's mission. I let her go without making her disband her group this time and I'll look for her in future ME stuff just to say Hi.
After that I headed into dock at Noveria but that will have to wait until tonight or tomorrow.

Last night I started by messing about Pinnacle Station to get more XP just ecause. I got 5 of the records but finally gave up after having problems with the Time Trial missions and with one of the Hunt missions. I apparently can't kill people fast enough with this set up. I may go back and try again after Noveria with a different set up. Or not. I'm almost level 50 right now anyway.

Took me a couple playthroughs to find that missing ship as well. Thought it was bugged at first.
EDIT: Oops. Today we rescued Miranda's sister. Stopped Miri from shooting Niket since I knew she'd regret it later. Enyala suffered the same fate as all the other asari commandos in the Dantius Towers -- drone, drone, warp, drone, drone, incinerate, cryo blast, shatter. So satisfying that I wanted a cigarette afterwards... errr, j/k ![]()
Then I took Thane and Tali along to recruit Samara. Destroyed that annoying gunship with a single Carnifex shot (after several incinerates + warps). It was glorious.
Now TIM wants to send me after a collector ship. Okay, boss. Whatever you say.

Today I.. I...
... oh no...

After dealing with this corruption, I'm ready to present to you: Anhur Shepard

Anhur (Egyptian god of war) is a Sentinel (Singularity bonus power), earthborn and the sole survivor of Akuze.
Life on Earth was tough for young Anhur, getting into a life of drugs, dealing drugs and lots of partying. He realized things were not going in the right direction though, and having no family that he knew of, he joined the Alliance hoping it would be better for his life. His past of drug dealing and the inevitable violence that ultimately came with it as he rose in the ranks of criminality had made him no stranger to danger (ugh...) and, being quick of mind as well, he quickly rose in the ranks of the Alliance too.
Then Akuze happened, and the most striking result of it was that it seemed to have no effect on Anhur at all. Nobody knowsif he's that strong willed, a ticking time bomb.. or both.
His knowledge of technology, being a sentinel, has made him cautious of AI, and the tales about the Geth and Quarians and the dominant opinion in the galaxy that AI are a danger to all life have only reinforced this outlook on synthetic life.
Generally, he's kind to his crew and teammembers cause he knows he needs their help for succes, and he has no real predisposition against any alien species, having next to no first hand experience with any of them. His past has by no means made him friendly in general though, and he can be considered oppertunistic, manipulative if necessary and unforgiving.
On missions, if in any way possible, he tries to avoid civilian casualties.

First game not using assault rifles ![]()

Over the weekend I played my Renegon Arya Shepard, Engineer. Trying to balance P/R choices in ME2 can be tough. Though I did the Miranda/Jack confrontation and had both options open. I fear though by the time I get to Tali/Legion my persuade scores won't be good enough to do either choice. I took the non-100% persuade bonus with my class level 4 ability so this should be interesting. I still have Thane and Samara to recruit, and Garrus, Jacob and Tali still have their LMs to do. After getting the full team later tonight I'm going to do Overlord and we'll see where the P/R scores are... David's fate depends on it. Going to save the CB, it's never made any sense to me to destroy it and it fits the narrative of ME3 much better as well.

It turned out that the Turian that was on ship, a guy called Nihlus, was actually there to evaluate Anhur Shepard as a possible Spectre candidate...
How about that, from drug dealer to Spectre, who'da thought?
Everthing went to **** before the mission even started though...

What a day. The loss of the Jenkins he didn't care much for, but the vision from the beacon was very auspicious.

It's a handy ring, especially if you're a Vampire or Werewolf but yeah it's pretty damn gross. I'm finishing up Dragonborn with my canon character who is a Vampire. Tamriel hasn't seen the sun in literally months, courtesy of Auriel's bow. ![]()

The only time I didn't kill them was when I was going for the Oblivion Walker achievement. Then I just took the woman (Eola?) over to the Shrine of Boethia and sacrificed her. The only time I ever did the Boethia quest.

I think Bailey meant just letting her go, he wasn't aware of the side deal with her 2nd in command.

Just did the SM last night. Because I always do Reaper IFF the moment it's available the crew was kidnapped with only Miranda, Samara, Grunt, Mordin, and Legion loyal. I launched the SM immediately anyway. With all upgrades and sensible play I didn't lose anybody before the Hold the Line segment. I could see I didn't have the numbers to get everybody through. Non-loyal Tali was on the chopping block. But I was considering her for an LI, so that was out. (Hadn't done Tali's mission because RP-wise I couldn't justify it. Getting to the Migrant Fleet required flying right past Omega, and delaying Legion's LM makes no sense, since that's supposed to lead to a huge disaster if we don't stop it. Funny how it doesn't.) So the way around it was to take non-loyal Jack and Thane with Shepard. Tali lives, they die.
Thane's death is kind of useful. Since Kirrahe died on Virmire (I skipped the fliers and didn't divert troops from the salarians), maybe I'll finally get to shoot Ashley.

How does Garrus's post-mission dialogue differ if he is the one to shoot the VS?

I think Bailey meant just letting her go, he wasn't aware of the side deal with her 2nd in command.
After speaking with Sayn, Bailey will quickly contact Shepard once you're approaching the elevator that he was notified of the little chat with Sederis' second in command. He doesn't know for certain that Sederis will die, but I think it's fair to say that her sudden disappearance or being found in some alley in the wards will be enough for him. After all, Shepard does drop a not-so-subtle hint, and the only way to go this path is to say that she's a menace and you'll find another solution, rather than ordering her release immediately at the C-Sec outpost.

Good question. Anyone know of a vid?
Just did Tali and Garrus' LMs. I guess Michael's been too much of a softy lately (Paragon on Samara and Mordin's missions), because he didn't have the Renegade points to get Tali exonerated. Kal'Reegar died on Haestrom -- another in what's turning into a long list --so no rallying the crowd. This means that Tali gets exiled. Hey, it's her call, exiled Tali makes sense as an LI, and I can't see how Rael'Zorah's research can lead to anything good. The last thing Shepard wants is a geth-quarian war. Can anyone come up with a good reason for Shepard to turn the data over at the trial?
Garrus' mission was pretty straightforward. There's a guy on the Citadel who needs to die. Let's make it happen. Nice to just sit back and watch Garrus do his thing to Harkin and Sidonis.

Played The Arrival DLC . I wish you get to see Harbinger (at the comm-tower) instead of the Collector General, although I know you get him in a post-game run.
Then I played Samara's loyalty mission. I like that mission even though there's no combat. lol
Was going to do Thanes loyalty mission, but couldn't be bothered. That's one of my least favourite although I like Thane. If it wasn't for the 'Heavy Pistol Upgrade" I wouldn't bother.

Yep, shep should be the one tailing the turian through the crowds, while Thane is up on the catwalk. That would have been better.

Took Grunt and a loyal Zaeed to horizon with my Vanguard. Vanguards are like credit cards. Charge it! Lesson learned... Don't charge the Praetorian. Then we went to Illium. I ran into an old friend Gianna and had a beer. Then I fell asleep again. Drat! Just when it looked like things were going to get interesting.

Does anybody know what happens in ME1 when you do the love traingle thing with Liara and Ashley, choose Ashley... but then have her die at Virmire?
Can you still go for Liara afterwards?
No idea on the mechanics here, have only ever pursued one at a time before ![]()

So, Grunt, you dragged me to the Food shack just right before our match starts?

Shepard, Wrex, and Grunt, storming heaven... or a Casino in this case. We're gonna win big bucks! Let's shove our fists into these machines, shall we?

Talk about blending into their environment, I'm glad they came to watch and spy on us. ![]()

My current playthrough was almost exactly like this, except I chose Liara. In my next conversation with Ash after choosing Liara, she behaved as though we were friends, but professional instead of any romance potential. The 'choice' was never mentioned. Liara, however, was romantic as it gets in ME1, though she never mentioned the 'choice' either.
Now I have to dump Liara for Tali.... errr, collector ship first.
