EDI, James and I helped cure the genophage today. Was going to take Garrus and Liara but I always take Garrus (unless he died in ME2). When we were making our first approach to the shroud on foot, and the reaper was shooting at us, at one point EDI said, "If I were an organic, that would probably burn."
Turrets and drones once again made quick work of the reaper forces, and I even took the time to kill all the brutes during the end-fight. Update: Husks are still pretty stupid.
Anyway Wrex and Bakara will usher in a new age for the krogan once all those pesky reapers have been dealt with.

I figured
... I move the camera around all the time (when possible) when someone is talking, mostly so I can catch shep's bored expression, heh.

Tali never talked, but Garrus did, and because Tali was the second squadmate I picked, she prioritized within the scenes, but it was Garrus's dialogues that played out. Liara is always the first squadmate, which means her dialogues will always be present. The scene where Liara tells the asari that she's looking at the extinction of their species got cut off which meant I had to 'ghost' out of the small fort to continue the stage, from there on everything went smoothly. Surprisingly, Liara's dialogues still played within the temple.

Ah. I don't remember that ever happening in my games. I have no clue. The moderator said that it got locked due to necro bumping.

No, but whenever I can move the camera around I move it.
Really? 'Cause the only time where you can move the camera is when you're in command mode(left shift). But that only works if you're not in a heavy melee animation.

My Quarian Engineer laughed at the people who retreated to the LZ in the final wave of Reaper forces on Benning.
I was the only one to survive that mission.
Sir, may I ask from where your avatar picture is from?

Tonight I:
-Completed Ilos and the final Citadel level (except a couple of those annoying Geth Heavy Turrets!)
-Took Wrex with me (I promised him his revenge after all; he even shot Saren in the head for me!) and Kaidan (he needed to be in awe of me in prep for Horizon and ME3 LI)
-Ended it at Lv 55
-100% Paragon, 20-25% Renegade (though my NG+ will probably bring Renegade to 50% or more)
-Saved the Council
-Decided this time to let the politicians figure out who will be the human Councilor. Regardless of me dislike for Udina, I think I now recognize that my encouragement for Anderson to break into his office crossed some sort of line, and Shepard as-he-is is no person to suggest how civilian authority conducts its normal business. Sure we need to be ready for the Reapers, but we shouldn't be so influential over politics while doing so. IMO.
I have my NG+ file now ready, but I'll be tinkering around Lazarus Project for a few minutes just to tease myself of the ME2 I haven't touched in possibly several months or more ![]()
~~~
My friend may be coming over tomorrow, maybe the whole day, to play Dany Shepard again. Best case we get all the way to just before Virmire (as the point of no return level). Stuff like Pinnacle Station should be a breeze on Casual, and I'll do the majority of the super-filler-and-boring sidequests for her (but not all; just once she gets bored of them).
Started the Rannoch arc, but after getting Tali I went back and played the Citadel DLC. It's more fun with all the team mates. I even have Ashley along this playthrough (only because I need her Bonus Talent).
After killing the clone, I did all the 'missions' in the Armax Arena.
Then went to sleep.
EDIT: Oops. Today Garrus, Liara and I stopped a Cerberus coup attempt on the Citadel. Thanks to Thane conveniently skewering himself, and Kaidan not being his usual stubborn self, we were able to save all the councilors again. Got to thinking about Sparatus. With the events on both Menae and Tuchanka, shouldn't he have been a full-on, cien por ciento, shep-supporter? Why didn't he punch out Udina the moment he said, "Shepard is with Cerberus"? Is he just being a big baby because shep bypassed his authority to make the alliance with the turians? Anyway, saved him.
Tevos is still one of the best looking asari in the game. And her VA did a great job of giving her that air of being the 'wise councilor'. Not so wise this time though. She should have been impeached for refusing to at least attend the war summit and hear what the others are planning, get a sense of just how bad things are. She says, "the asari have been down this road before, commander." Uhh... reapers? No you haven't. Anyway, saved her, too.
We never saw Valern again after Thane got stabbed, but I know he's going to contact me on the Normandy once I'm done on the Citadel. IIRC he's still a d*** in this conversation, like he was after the genophage. Salarians. They're supposed to be smart? Heh, just try to follow up on your veiled threats you wiggly-armed, eye-licking newt.
Still think Bailey should have joined us as a temp squadmate for this one, and maybe he could have been the one to shoot Udina. Bailey's dossier on the shadow broker's ship mentions something him possibly being corruptible, doesn't it? So maybe he shoots Udina before Udina can implicate him with a Cerberus connection. That would have been cool.
Ah well, now it's time to tour the Citadel and pick up a billion more fetch quests for war assets.
Maybe sometime next week!
This afternoon I might complete NG+ Eden Prime, and maybe at least some of the initial Citadel level.
I want my damn Spectre armor. Every character should be decked out in full Spectre/Colossus/Whatever gear by the end, so I can at some point do a NG++ and record stuff from it for my Youtube channel
. I don't want constant 'costume changes'. (Only the NG+ itself will matter for my main trilogy playthrough though)
EDIT: Ended up completing Eden Prime and much of Citadel.
