Natalie Shepard.
I go to Omega to recruit an Archangel and a Salarian scientist, Moridin Solus. I meet Aria T'Loak. More like Aria T'Loser. Don't **** with Aria. Let me tell you something Aria. I dealt with a stupid Asari on Noveria with a bunch of Asari Commandos and kicked their a**. Vocha put up a better fight. So what makes you so special? Just tell me whenre to find Archangel and Mordin.
Fight through blue suns to get to Mordin and now wants me to turn the fans back on. Fine. Lets get this crap over with. Charge. Smash. Shoot face. These mercs need to get an occupation that is less hazardous. With the fans turned back on, Mordin joins me on the Normandy. Cool guy. Talks a lot.
Now for Archangel. Well. Well. Archangel is Garrus Vakarian. No time to talk since mercs want to kill him. Fine. Again. Charge. Smash. Shoot face. I could do this in my sleep. Garrus is seriouly injured. Kill the rest of the mercs and treat his injuries. So I go talk with him
Natalie: Garrus. Tell me something.
Garrus: What's on your mind Shepard?
Natalie: How is killing mercs helping to find a way to stop the reapers?
Garrus: .........
Natalie: I mean you were with me on Virmire and heard Sovereign speak. You saw the reaper attack the Citadel and eventually destroyed. Heck you were with me on Ilos and heard everything Vigil said.
Garrus: Well. You see, its like this Shepard. I...was going to....
Natalie: I figured as much
Garrus: Can we talk about this later. I got some calibrating to do.
Natalie: .........
He's now number 3 or is it 4? I lost count.
It seems the counter measures are working on Horizon. That's a big ship and an ugly one at that. Here comes the bugs. Charge. Smash. Shoot face. What the heck? ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL. Thats cool. Its dead whatever that was. WHAT? It possessed another bug? Oook. How does it know my name? Just kill bugs and worry about that later. Look at that I just killed the hunchback of Notre Dame. Wow. Awesome. Ok now its getting stupid. A flying tick. Whatever. Its dead. Unfortunately the Collectors got away with some of the colonists. And here comes Ashley. Good to see her.
Natalie: Wait. WHAT?(punches Ashley in the face and knocks her to the ground and grabs her by the throat) Are you thinking I'm a traitor you ******* ****?
Ashley: cough She-- cough
Natalie. Listen up. Cerberus is not working with the Collectors. What species do you know that has a ship like that? You need to pull your head out of your fifth point of contact and see whats really going on. Your letting your hatred of Cerberus cloud your mind of whats really going on. And as far as the traitor crap goes, look in the mirror you little ****. Even the crew of the SR1 and the Alliance leadership. What the **** have they been doing the last two years to find a way to stop the reapers? You and the others don't care about humanity or the rest of the galaxy. And you turn your backs on me. Hey guys. Shepard is dead and so is the reaper threat. Is that it?
Ashley: But shep--
Natalie: Shut up ****. I want you to go back to your precious Alliance and that idiot Anderson and tell them to **** off.
Ashley: I...I... sorry.
Natalie: Just go Ashley.
That's not what I expected.
Back on the ship I get 3 more dossiers of people to recruit.

I then proceeded to the Armstrong cluster to hunt me some Geth. And there were lots of them. It took a longer time than I would have liked because of those d*** Colossi (colossuses?). Wrex, Garrus and I could not manage to kill them even with extensive help from the Mako. So there was much dying and restarting after being hit by the dreaded blue beam. Finally, I killed the Colossi using the Mako and everything else on foot. I guess I could have switched up so I was using some other crew but I'm feeling the connection with Garrus and Wrex on this play through. I did give Tali the Geth data so she was happy. And I flirted some more with Kaidan, even though I did coyly mention that there are regs against what we are dancing around. Really, if I was all that bothered by regs, I wouldn't be flirting so outrageously with him.
I also got Wrex and Garrus to tell me their deepest desires. I will be fulfilling these tomorrow unless it gets appreciably hotter here and I can't get my A/C fixed. If that's the case I will abandon ship to somewhere cooler and their deepest desires will just have to wait.
I'm going to continue doing some side missions for a bit but then I'm thinking of doing Noveria and then maybe Virmire and thus saving Liara until the end. I'm curious how that conversation might go when we tell her "sorry but we killed your mother a while back. She was a really evil b****. Please explain to me why I shouldn't kill you as well." I like Liara but don't really plan on using her much on this play through so this might be a good opportunity to be a jerk to her. Alternatively, I'll pick her up next and make Kaidan jealous by flirting with her and try to get the scene where they force me to choose between them. That could be fun too. Decisions, decisions!

It would have been awesome if the game tracked this and the Liara in the subsequent games has deep mental issues (well, more than she has now?).

Lol, EDI will have to a lot of counseling with synthetics in relationships with organics and the other way around.
Maybe she could have her own talk show like Oprah. Or, god help us, like Ellen!
Well if Samara can get one via the "Animal House Ending" why not EDI? ![]()

Like handing over her girlfriend to Cerberus instead of the Alliance?
...Imagine if the game started that way, and the Alliance enlisted Mordin Solus to save shep.

Natalie Shepard
I head to Illium to help Miranda. Something about her sister. Look at that. Gianna Parasini. And looking good as ever. I help with a case she's working on and get that beer she owes me. Too bad I can't have her on the ship. Hopefully I see her again.
On no. Conrad Verner. You know, he's not bad looking. He looks cute in his fake N7 armor. I like to ask him out, but I recall he mentioned having a wife. I help him with his little operation he's doing. Bye Conrad.
Helping Miranda includes killing all the mercs we face. Once again. Charge. Smash. Burn face. Now that's cool. Miranda throwing that Asari was awesome. I'm liking you more and more Miranda. Kill the idiots and Miranda talks with her sister.
Now I'm helping Zaeed. And because of his lust for revenge, we have to save the workers that are trapped. He doesn't like that. Zaeed you made the mess, so lets clean it up. I won't let these people die for your stupidity. Vido gets away, but Zaeed calms down enough to put his thirst for revenge on hold. Good.
For now I pause at furthering Natalie's playthrough. I'm currently loading ME3 to do another playthrough to find something I forgot about in my previous playthrough.

Well, I've been having a ball in the trilogy myself today. Threw the giant party with my squad, so many laughs were had, was great. Did a bit more of the combat simulation in the Armax Arsenal Arena, invited a few people up to the apartment and managed to beat Vega's 183 chin-ups record, almost felt as though I put on more muscle just from watching it happen, my mind was numb by the end of it. Beating that record, though? Bragging rights. Felt good! ![]()

As ridiculous as that might seem, for some muscles this actually works.
Just like you get better at sports if you watch a lot of sports (but not beyond a level of ability that your body allows you, of course). Seeing certain patterns repeated 'burns' roughly the same 'paths' in the brain as it would when you repeated the patterns yourself.
Excuses for the shitty terminology, it's been ages since I've had a neurology course. ('path' should be 'motor pathway', I think)

Fascinating, wouldn't surprise me if I was feeling a bit of that by the end of that massive, virtual pull up session. Maybe I'll go try some myself, right now, in reality, and become the next James Vega. *Attempts the challenge but fails on the second pull* ![]()

Started my ME3 playthrough
Allison Shepard - Earthborn/adept/warhero
On Earth, the reapers say hello to Vancouver. Running with Anderson. I will admit, he's in good shape. Help a couple of guys and fight the reaper uglies. I spit at one of them blinding the thing giving me the opportunity to kill the thing. There's my ship. Better not have any scratches.
Go to Mars. Why is Cerberus fighting me? They will have to get better training if they want to defeat me. So the archives contain plans for something that might stop the reapers. Isn't that convenient? Talk with holo-TIM. He wants to control the reapers. I want to destroy them. I guess we'll meet at the O. K . Corral. Chase a Cerberus operative only to find out its a robot. Why couldn't I be born in a time where machines didn't walk? The thing injures Ashley and I shoot it.
Now I'm at the Citadel going to see the Council. I'll let you know later how that turns out.

Just to be clear: you're not gonna go from lean to ripped just by watching stuff or thinking about your muscles, but it does have a measurable effect.
Of course.
If that was the case, I would think that the nerd percentage of the human population would be the most built members of our race. AND if that was the case, god help us all. *Nerd finishes playing a seven day WoW marathon and just walks outside with cardboard sword and a bath towel wrapped around his neck, more built than the Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator* "BRING ON THE LEVEL 9000 CONTENT!"

Great... my game keeps crashing upon exiting the Geth building on Rayingiri... and I'm really not looking to spend my time this evening reinstalling ME1 and the high-res mod to get it fixed ![]()
Sweet, after crashing 5 times I got out.
One thing the highres mod definetly didn't do is make the game more stable, geez.

So... shep told Tali he was going to Omega for his bachelor party. At first she wasn't too happy about it, and tried to get him to promise to call every day, but he explained that it was important in human culture to have one last wild hurrah of singledom before marriage, and that the future spouse didn't have to know anything about it.
I wondered how Tali was going to react to your Shep heading off to Omega with Aria. I like how you just "forgot" to mention that Aria was going to be on the trip.

Just had an interesting time doing Thane's loyalty mission. First, we met with Mouse and I used the renegade dialogue, which I had never used before. Got to hear some new dialogue that was actually pretty good; stuff about "real chocolate" and "sad eyes." Then it was time to interrogate Kehlam. I was hoping to pull out the Spectre card, but then broke down and used a persuade option just before the lawyer walked in, so I didn't get to toss about my Spectre status.
Then Thane came up with a really stupid plan for Shepard to follow Talid on the catwalks. This was a bad on idea on several counts. First, if Thane was this expert assassin, shouldn't he be doing the tracking? But the bigger issue is what Shepard heard when she listened to Talid giving his "stump speech." Morwen had mostly overcome her initial xenophobia, but here was this Turian going on about how he was going to put humans in their place. Did she really want this guy to win office? Wouldn't it be better if Thane's son succeeded? Plus, Morwen had never been too comfortable with Thane anyway. His BS about being a "weapon" and not responsible for his actions soured her on him right from the start. If his son wanted to off some anti-human politician, would that really be a bad thing? So, after some thought, Shepard decided to let the assassination proceed while keeping her own hands clean. (Plus, she got to watch a Turian make a fool of himself on the dance floor.)
