Time for Anhur to head to bed
Tomorrow the first mission will be helping Zaeed out with his.. business

Tonight Amy did, um, ah...

Hank Shepard saved the citadel from Cerberus today. He let Kaiden kill Udina and read visited Thane and his son Huerta Memorial Hospital. He had a hard time accepting Thane's death and stood outside the locked door of Thane's hospital room for about five minutes before going back to the Normandy and giving EDI advice on the meaning of life, again.

Anhur thinks Jack is beautiful... and a little crazy, but that's alright. Liara wouldn't still think they're a thing.. right? ![]()

I need to talk with Liara T'soni about finding Samara and Thane. I remember wanting to throw her back in the volcano on Therum. Lets see what happens.
Have you ever seen an Asari Commando unit before? Few humans have. What? Benezia is still alive? I thought I killed that piece of crap on Noveria. Damn. Its Liara who said that. What are ---? Ugh. Yuck. She hugged me. I hope I don't catch anything. She tells me where to find Thane and Samara. So she's become an information broker and chasing the Shadow broker who took her friend.
Natalie: So tell me Liara. Why did you stop studying the Protheans? Why haven't you been looking for a way to stop the reapers?
Liara: My friend and I were doing some things and then the Shadow Broker took him away. I don't know if he's alive or dead. I just know that I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for him.
Natalie: What were you doing that caused the broker to go after you?
Liara: I don't want to talk about it anymore Shepard.
Natalie: Why I'm I not surprised by that answer? Do you know everyone that I've come in contact with that helped me chase Saren, have come up with some really pathetic reasons why they haven't been searching for a way to stop the reapers?
Liara: I... I don't know what to say
Natalie: Whatever. I have the information I need and I hope I never see you again. You know I just realized something. You can't spell your name without the word liar.
She's now on my hit list. I believe that's number 6.
Lets get Samara. I like her. Anyone that kills Asari, even other Asari I like. Her armor could use more covering. I hunt down information about a fugitive for her while she's in custody. Once again I do the charge, smash, burn face routine. I might want to mix it up alittle bit.
Now to get Thane. All these mercs to protect one person. Lets get started. Kill a merc here, kill a merc there, kill a merc everywhere. I should open my own business for kiling mercs. Now that is funny. I use my shockwave and send 6 mercs falling to their death. You guys suck. I see the assassin kill his target. Why would I stop him? He tells me he has an illness. That's just great. I have a thief for what reason, I don't know and now I have an assassin who's sick. What is this the charity squad. Not my problem if he dies.
Now to Omega to get Samara's fugitive. Morinth. She is one of the most ugliest Asari I've ever seen. Barf. I mention the word Justicar and she gets bent out of shape. What's the big deal? Samara didn't like that. Get over it. Do your own dirty work the next time.
For now I will relax with my best friend Lucifer, the space hamster while we travel to this derelict reaper.
No it wasn't, but it was great... pansy
I enjoy this scene the most with Jack in the squad, so I always take her with me now.
Jack: "Funny."
Shepard: "I thought so."

Things just got serious. The Collectors are a real threat and they need to be taken out, so it's time for Anhur to seriously start building the team. Jacob and Miranda already came forward with some of their personal issues, and no doubt there will be more. Anhur will tend to them all and pick up some more squad members along the way.
What the squad needs is a powerful, pure biotic who isn't completely useless against unprotected enemies, someone who can use their powers often, so Anhur can take full advantage of detonating biotic powers. Jacob's alright, with his incendiary ammo, but only has short range weapons. Just like Jack, who doesn't have an ammo power yet. So it's time to head for Illium; maybe Anhur's girlfriend from an earlier life will join up (Liara), otherwise he'll check out the Justicar.
Nadia Shepard:
Locked in Thane. Expect the feelz in ME3.
Went back to the Citadel. Garrus was feeling some angst, so we took off after Harkin after we blew away the two Krogan bodyguards. Too slow. More cheesy one liners. Gotta love the renegade interrupts. Reminds me of 1980s Arnold movies. So we shot up some mechs, some blue suns, some more mechs, some more blue suns, Shepard charged one of the big mechs and blew it away. That was fun. Had to get its shields down first - always remember to do that - did you know that even the redded out Reave works great against regular shields? Forgot to pick up the forged pass.... damn! can't hassle the asari.
Well, we met Harkin. Garrus punched him in the balls. And femShep thought Harkin could read minds. "Why don't you tell us what we want to know." But hell, it's Harkin. He deserved the beating. Garrus shot him in the leg. He wanted to let C-sec follow the blood trail. Shepard just wanted to see him bleed. Okay now we know where to find Sidonis. Good work Harkin.
Garrus takes position. "I'll get him in my sights. You keep him talking and I'll let you know when to step aside."
"Okay Garrus."
Sidonis: blah blah blah
Shepard: "Oh it won't."
Sidonis: "Oh ****"
Garrus: *bang* "Debt repaid."
Shepard: "A bullet in the head solves everything."
Garrus: "I know that now."

I get to walk inside a reaper. Cool. Breakout the party hats. It seems the Cerberus folks were being indoctrinated. Ok. Here comes the runners waving their arms. They can't resist my pull field. I remember watching on the extranet about some show called bowling for dollars in the 1900's. With my shockwave, I'm bowling for kills. Who killed those two husks? A Geth. How the heck does the thing know my name and since when do Geth talk? Weird. Lets keep an eye for anymore crap. Found the IFFKill the husks and notice the Geth on the ground. Lets take the thing.
Why does a robot have N7 armor on it? Where did it get the armor from? Why was it on the derelict reaper? I just stuff the thing in the medbay for now. Lets go get the collectors
So we take the shuttle for the next mission while the IFF is being installed.
Oh crap. Oh crap. How the heck did the collectors know where we are? I have to get to engineering. Hello. Is anyone there? Ah Mr. themikefest sir? Are you there. I know you and the Commander want to kill me for not getting to an escape pod quicker when the 1st Normandy was attacked, but could you show me some mercy. I don't want to die. Crap that sounded pathetic. Alright. I'm moving. Damn how the collectors get onboard? Follow the lights. Climb down to engineering and the Normandy gets out of dodge.
I was hoping the Collectors would've taken Joker instead of the crew. Next time clown. And he unshackles an AI. Smooth move slick. If he wasn't the only pilot, I would shoot his sorry a**. Enough. Time to hit the relay. I have 10 squadmates. Lets do this.
What are those things attacking? One of them gets in the cargo hold. I take Mordin and Zaeed to deal with it. We kill the thing, but learn the thief was killed. I knew it. Next time leave the thief at home. In your face mother******. Thats for blowing up my ship. But the explosions knockout our systems. Crashed on the base. Lets get the ball rolling.
How nice of you to volunteer Jacob to go in the vent? Run into some 4 eyes. Shockwave. Pull. Close the door Jacob. Hmm. I guess your prize failed. Tough luck pal. I send Mordin back with the crew. Garrus will lead the 2nd fireteam and Samara will maintain a barrier for me, Jack and Miranda. It sounds like Garrus is having problems. Maybe he's the problem. Kill the bugs and a hunchback of notre dame. Where you going Jack? I guess Jack wanted to play with the seeker swarms. Have fun Jack. Damn Garrus. I guess you're not the leader I was led to believe. He's dead. Next time he won't lead anything.
I take Miranda and Zaeed to see wheere the tubes lead while Grunt, Samara and Thane stay back. WHAT THE **** IS THAT? I've seen this before when I watch a movie. I believe it was Terminator. Is that Arnold Schwarzenegger on super duper steroids? We got to destroy this crap. Shoot the tubes. Now its alive. What hocus pocus is this? Alright big guy. Say hello to my little friend. Boom. Almost killed it. Shoot its eyes. About time. Sorry TIM, but this base is going bye, bye. Have a nice day.
Not bad 4 dead and 6 live. I can deal with that. Calm down TIM. Have another cancer stick and pour yourself another drink. You don't want that vein in your forehead to pop. I did what I had to do. I stopped the Collectors. Until next time.
John Shepard flew into Feros today to check out reports of Geth. After repelling the initial attack, he checked out what the merchant had for sale and seeing that the colony was more or less secure for the time being decided it was past time to head back to the Citadel. After easing some fears of Rear Admiral Mikhailovich, Shepard headed down to C-Sec. Then he got an unexpected call.
Turns out, Lt. Girard had been trying to help an escaped slave, when she broke down and stole a weapon. Much to Shepard's surprise, she was taken in the same raid on Mindoir that had left him an orphan. Wasting no time, John rushed back to the docking bay to try to help. The ordeal with Talitha forced him to relive the horrors he saw on Mindoir, and come to realize the full extent of the horrors that faced those who were abducted. Thankfully, he was able to talk her down, and convinced her to take a sedative and receive help. The encounter left him bitter, but also hopeful that more could be saved. From this point on, while stopping Saren was his primary objective, he would use his newfound Spectre privilege to rid the galaxy of slavers on the side.
For this reason, he accepted the offer of one Helena Blake. Though clearly a criminal, and someone he would never help under normal circumstances, she gave him the location of slavers, and right now, John thought that regardless of how he got the information, one less slaver in the galaxy wouldn't be a bad thing. Also, if Ms. Blake was not on the up and up, he was confident he could take her down. Additionally, it was past time that he helped liberate Nassana Dantius' sister.
So, Wow.... I had never done a play through with a colonist Shepard in ME1 before, and today I played the mission "I remember me" for the first time. That was some hardcore stuff. Probably one of the most emotional moments of the trilogy for me, and I'm so sad it took me so long to experience it. Got me to rethink the backstory of this Shepard. He is a colonist/war hero, and I intended to play him mostly paragon but he became more paragade (I used the Lorik Quiin glitch so I didn't have to worry about being forced into a pure ideology to get dialogue, that really adds a layer of freedom to dialogue I think), and I decided that while a war hero, his heroics on Elysium were partly due to his duty and genuine heroism, but also fueled by his hatred of Batarian slavers and a bloodrage against them that caused him to refuse a retreat in the face of overwhelming odds. I feel pretty sorry for any Batarians this Shepard comes across, and I find it fitting that this will also be my first play through with the Bring Down the Sky DLC. I still don't know how I'm going to resolve that.

Two playthroughs ago I actually choked up during the Talitha mission. Surprised me since I had done that mission before, but that time, for some reason, it really got to me.
In my last two playthroughs my Colonist/Ruthless handed Balak over to the Alliance for interogation, while my Colonist/Sole Survivor shot him in a fit of anger.
Then yesterday, I got to Arrival and it hit me just how much the story comes full circle. Shepard stops an asteroid from destroying a human colony in 2183, then two years later she turns around and destroys a Batarian colony with an asteroid. Morwen started out fairly xenophobic, and definitely anti-Batarian, but she was suddenly struck by unbearable pangs of guilt as she started the asteroid heading for the Mass Relay. What made her any different from Balak whom she had killed? She ended up trying to warn the colonists but was cut off. I expect her to undergo even more transformation in ME3 and she tries to cope with the enormity of what she did in the Bahak system.
Had a party in 'my' apartment with all the old gang. Many lulz were had.
Then went to the Horse Head Nebula to destroy the Cerberus base. Loved killing Kai Lame. (as always)
Then headed to Earth to kick the rippah's ass!
After the interminably long cut scenes I picked Destroy.
Although it was late started my next play through - Michael Shepard, Adept, Spacer, War Hero. on Insanity mode.
Made it down to Eden Prime and as far as finding Nihlus but had to call it quits.
@ Cap 'n Gown - I think it was you that mentioned how OP'ed the Typhoon was in Single Player so I downloaded the Pack and threw the Typhoon om my squad mates (those who could use it any way) and man! you weren't wrong. I actually switched it back because it was taking all the fun out of combat. And I always play Insanity (ME3) lol
I only use it in the Arena or Priority Earth missions now.
Starting the beginning of the CItadel DLC with my Marcus Shepard. There will be a lot of busting it.
Biotic Infiltrator?

Why the heck not? The Galaxy's going to burn anyways!
Meanwhile, at the apartment after kicking a**!

I have reached my quota of positive votes for the day.

Lol! I was really happy with the extensive modding I did today. Now I can finally have some fun with more MP powers within Single Player, and maybe Javik can finally have the green biotics he's always wanted.
