@ Cap 'n Gown - I think it was you that mentioned how OP'ed the Typhoon was in Single Player so I downloaded the Pack and threw the Typhoon om my squad mates (those who could use it any way) and man! you weren't wrong. I actually switched it back because it was taking all the fun out of combat.  And I always play Insanity (ME3) lol

 

I only use it in the Arena or Priority Earth missions now.

 

I too have sworn off the Typhoon. Now I give them the Revenant instead. Ashley in particular is a one woman army with the Typhoon since you can spec her for an amazing amount of assault rifle damage. The following are some clips from Priority: Earth. (Sorry about the video quality) Watch the enemy health bars just melt. My squad even takes down the final Harvester without Shepard ever taking a shot or using a single power. Ash has a Typhoon I with piercing mod V and extended barrel V, while Liara has a Hurricane V with HVB V and power amp V. BTW, this is on insanity.

Natalie Shepard - post suicide mission

 

I talk with the Geth to see why it has N7 armor. It won't give an answer. We call it Legion. I head to Haestom to get Tali. Its funny watching Legion fire at its own machines. Meet up with Kal'reeger who freaks out that I have a Geth with me. I got a good chuckle from that. Lets finish off these flashlights. Charge. Smash. Shoot flashlight. Hold on Tali. Legion is with me. No need to go ballistic. Maybe later.

 

We head to the heretic station. Big station. Fight through a lot of flashlights. Still cracks me up with Legion destroying the machines. I decide to destroy the heretics. Alright.

 

Tali is being charged with treason. We head to the flotilla to find out whats going on. Till we get there, I will watch the movie The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Meanwhile, sadly I have come to finish the Citadel DLC. The entire experience was heartwarming, and the ending was no different. Now I'm back where we all belong: the Normandy. I was readying myself for the strike on Cronus Station, though my Galactic Readiness was looking a little grim. Although my Total Military Strength was on the high, my Effective Military Strength was suffering from the lack of Readiness. Instead of risking a truly terrible ending (although the variation isn't much different, I'm afraid it will kill my Shepard if I don't increase the score), I've been burning through multiplayer with much enjoyment.

 

It was a pain transferring from Xbox 360 to the PC in terms of the multiplayer; I remember being able to kick some serious ass on the Xbox, had me a level 20 Turian Sentinel and Krogan Vanguard I abused the heck out of them and I loved them, used to wreck enemies up and constantly rack up the highest scores with them. Hell, my Krogan didn't even need a group, he was practically tank to the point where he was invulnerable. 

 

Working to get those two legends back, hopefully I get an unlock for either soon, though in the meantime I've been playing a Salarian Engineer (got him to level 20 today) a Drell Vanguard (his durability is rather.. flimsy), and a Geth Infiltrator which was a lot better than I had actually anticipated. My Galactic Readiness is up to 93%, and next I get to it, I'll be ready for Priority: Earth.

 

After Gonder Shepard's story comes to a close, I'll be replaying the trilogy with my ruthless badass of a character, Ark Shepard. Can't wait, always damn fun and hilarious going back through the game and doing all of the badass things I wouldn't have done on my other character (kind of sucks having to be an ass to some of my favourite characters, but as a strong roleplayer, i need to stick to the character and analyse who he would, and would not like or tolerate). One thing is for certain, though: I've decided that he'll have a special liking for the Krogan, admiring their strength and brutality, because that would only make sense He'd cure the genophage and probably just accept it if they wanted to wash over the galaxy again, hell, maybe even join them in the slaughter if he gets bored enough. If they reject him, well, still plenty of targets to fight. I suppose he kind of is like a Krogan himself, at heart.

Shep wandered over to the Artemis Tau cluster to look for Kahoku's missing men and Nassana Dantius's sister. She found them all dead. Well, Kahoku's men were dead when she got there. She did kill the Thresher Maw that killed them however. Dantius's sister got dead after Shep arrived and Shep then discovered that she wasn't a hostage after all but the head of the gang. Instead of exploring more, Shep headed back to the Citadel to let Kahoku know about his men and to "discuss" what happened to Dantius's sister with Dantius's. While on the Citadel, she checked in with Sha'ira to see how things went with the General. Sha'ira gave her a very nice reward, and, oh yes, a trinket and some insightful words. What Kaidan doesn't know....

Back in space, Shep revisited Eletania to find this Prothean ruin she had discovered earlier and lo and behold - with Sha'ira's trinket she got an interesting vision of life as a Cro-Magnon. Then it was off to the Hawking Eta to track down some strange transmission. Apparently some old alliance guy had started some cult with biotics that was getting out of control. Much to her surprise, Shep managed to talk him down without killing anyone. A first, I think. After that she got a strange transmission from a very nervous sounding Kahoku and went off to the coordinates he had sent to see what was up. Much fighting later the Cerberus b******ds were dead and Kahoku was avenged. Poor Kahoku. Wrex, however, had a great time on this mission since it involved killing everyone/thing we saw. I really don't like these Cerberus guys.

Admiral Hackett then asked her to negotiate with some Warlord. Happily, what he meant by "negotiating" is what Shep did. Basically it involved shooting everybody in the area until they were dead. Wrex really enjoyed this mission also.

Even though the council had noted that they had received some garbled transmission from a Salarian STG on a planet called Virmire, Shep decided that she really needed to see if that Asari daughter of the Matriach she killed on Noveria could provide some useful information. So she headed back to the Artemis Tau cluster and found a promising planet.

But then I realized it was really late and that I had to work today. So sleep first and exploring Therum later.

Yeah, they're annoying but overall the Tomb Raider reboot was a really fun experience. It was good for two playthroughs from me.

Awesome vid. I see you were playing the Sentinel. That;s my favourite class for ME3 SP.

 

I had the Typhoon at level 5, I can only imagine what it'd be like at level 10. I might have to do a new game plus and find out one day.

This is priceless. Bringing  Legion to the flotilla. The Quarians are funny. Its a Geth. Shoot the Geth. I wouldn't care if they did. Enough of the mickey mouse crap. So Tali why are you sending pieces of Geth back to your father? I hear the Geth took over one of the ships. I thought you only sent back pieces Tali? Alright. Lets find out whats going on. Lets see if I remember how to do this. Charge. Smash. Shoot flashlight. Got it. Tali's father is dead. Get up to the bridge and stop the Geth. That's some damning evidence against your father Tali. And no I will not hide this evidence from the board. Your father is garbage. Cry all you want. It was wrong what he did.

 

Lets go find this friend of Hackett's. She tells me the reapers will be here shortly unless we destroy the relay. Ok. Kill some Batarians. You have the artifact in the open? Stupid b*t*h. Here we go again. Try and kill me you *******. What just hit me? I feel na---. Ohh. My head. Pow pow. Damn. I should be a boxer. Maybe I can fight Mike Tyson. Wait a minute. That would be hard to do. I didn't take too many pictures, but I took some at different points within the missions. Where does Brooks think she's going? We're in the air, the shuttle bay is where we're currently at, and EDI has full functionality to the Normandy again. I don't see where she could go to escape. The airlock, maybe?

Off to rescue Liara and continue my quest to get to the mythical land of Level 60. Not sure I'm going to be able to make it. I'm at 59 now but still need over a 100K points. We'll see.

Blew up a lot of Geth (all on foot for the XP, of course). Got to Liara but she thought she was hallucinating. (That dialogue was new. I always assumed the Geth arrived just shortly before I did but maybe they arrive near the start of the game.) After being rescued she joins the crew. Funny but she hasn't asked about her mother yet and none of us have mentioned anything. Finally grew tired of the council's BS after every mission and cut them off. Apparently Liara learns about her mother off-camera. I'm sure the conversation was awkward.

Off to a new system (Styx Theta) that I just noticed. Here's an interesting world to explore. Wonder what I will find? Rachni! Great! Just great! And there are potentially more of them in the other system in this cluster. And they may be being spread by a cargo ship. Well they die like everything else. There were a lot on the next planet as well. A whole freaking mine full of 'em. Now to the depot that the cargo ships came from. I wonder what I'll find there. Rachni! That's what I found. And Cerberus again. Apparently they were experimenting with some Rachni. And the Rachni got loose. Surprise! I really don't like Cerberus. At least the Rachni did these Cerberus stooges in before we had to kill them. Of course, I could have used the XP.

Oh and I can't even flirt with Liara to get Kaidan jealous. She apparently knows all about us. So much for keeping things on the QT.

Now the next question is do I go to Pinnacle Station next or do I think I can get to Level 60 without it? I'm about 75k points away from 60 and I've got Virmire, a couple of Citadel quests and the Final Run to get there. To be safe, I probably should do Pinnacle Station but.... At least this Shepard maxed everything there before. Of course that was on Easy. Anyone have any ideas?

Back on the ship. What a dream. I dreamed that I had a giant gun that can wipe out the galaxy and keep humanity alive. That would be cool if that really happens.

I meet Steve Cortez. Nice guy. He's my shuttle pilot. Thats good.  Better then having the Vega guy. Speaking of Vega, I will keep him for now. Now to deal with Joker.

Natalie: That's not your concern. Get off my ship.

Joker: Where will I go? What would I do? You have no respect for the cripple guy.

Natalie: Don't know. Don't care. You having a handicap has nothing to do with this. Remember when the SR1 was destroyed. Its time for payback. Get lost Joker and don't ever want to see you again.

Wow. Thats amazing. Why didn't Traynor tell me she has some combat skills and not just skills in communication.

Natalie: I saw your records Traynor. Would you like to be on my squad and go with me on missions?

Traynor: Yes ma'am I would. It will give me a chance to use a few of my weapons I modified.

Natalie: What do you mean modified?

Traynor: It would take time to explain, but know that they aren't military issued and I don't think the Alliance would approve.

Natalie: Alright. You can explain them later when we get to Palaven's moon, Menae. For now, head down to the cargo hold and have Steve fit you with some armor. If you like, I have an extra set of mine that you can use if you like

I swear my throat was not this tight the first time I went through the ending... Just ended my playthrough with Gonder Shepard, traditionally chose the destroy ending, although synthesis kind of crossed my mind this time. But to believe the Catalyst's straight out lie, saying that the Reapers tried the same solution multiple times in the past, though organics were not ready, though apparently this cycle is ready. How am I supposed to believe that? Although, of course, the ending is boring and it turns out the organics really are ready for it, in reality, I don't see the sense in that.

 

I mourned EDI on the inside, and Joker for the loss of his love when I approached the destroy ending, and for once I was glad that the Geth did not survive beyond Rannoch, for if they had, it would have all been to waste, a massive kick in the nuts. At least not all was bad, as I did destroy the EMS rating and get the best possible ending, obviously resulting in my survival (which, I may add, still makes no sense, as Shepard was part synthetic, and had to take a fall from space. I'm still leaning on the indoctrination theory a bit here, honestly), and now I can just hope I recover from the smoldering wounds all over my body and be reunited with my friends, and my love. We'll see how I go building a house on Rannoch, hopefully it won't fall apart. 

 

At least I now have the freedom to begin my renegade playthrough of the trilogy, though it kind of saddens me that after, like, six playthroughs with the same character, his story may have permanently come to an end, as the plan was to initially not end him until he had experienced all DLC's, which he did on my last playthrough. Who knows, I'll probably get bored enough to just do it all again with the guy.
