Lash breaks the Vanilla part of the game 'cause... Kai Leng ragdoll.

There's a couple of times where lash did to good of a job that Kai Leng would get stuck in one the benches on Thessia causing me to quit the game and reload.

Natalie: Alright Traynor. Tell me about your weapons

Traynor: Yes ma'am. My assault weapon, I call the brusher, is a lightweight machine gun that will brush aside all shields, barriers and armor at a very fast rate killing the enemy faster. My sniper weapon, I call the flosser, has two barrells. What it does when fired is as both rounds are fired, one round releases a steel cable that latches to the other round with a separation of about 8 inches. It can be adjusted to as far as 12 inches. At that speed the victim that is in the path will lose whatever part of that body is hit.

Vega: That's messed up Traynor. How many rounds?

Traynor: Only 10. It for long distance and not for short to mid-range firing.

Natalie: What else Traynor?

Traynor: Yes ma'am. My powers are a combat drone like the engineer class, overload and a sentry turret that I call the paster. I wanted to call it the toothpaster, but that sounded bad. What it does is fire out glue that causes the enemy to move slower giving us an easier time to kill them. And lastly, I have disruptor ammo power. Thats it.

Vega: I have a feeling I will be in your way Traynor.

Natalie: Don't worry about it Vega, she will do find. We got your back. And Traynor, you look good wearing my armor.

Vega: Woahhh. Did she turn beet red? Why are you blushing Traynor?

Natalie: We're here. Lets move.

 

I have to say Traynor is holding her own so far. Now lets find Victus, the new Primarch. Lots of the uglies. Holy Sh*t Traynor. One shot and just took the head off that ugly looking Turian thing. Damn. Remind me not to get on your bad side. I help her deal with the brutes. We have the Primarch and he wants the Krogan. Swell.

 

Why did edi go offline? Lets see whats happening in the AI core.

Natalie: Why are you the paltform?

edi: I had to take control to get the data for the Prothean device Shepard.

Natalie: We already have the data that we need. So again, why are you the platform?

edi: I want to help you on missions. And I have to ask about Jo--.

Natalie: Thats not your concern and I don't want that thing walking around on my ship. Get out of the platform or out the airlock.

edi: That would n---

Natalie: Wrong. Security. Destroy this thing and throw it out the airlock

Now I'm off to Sur'Kesh to get the female Krogan. I like Wreav, but I won't cure the genophage for him. Is that Kirrahe? I liked his speech on Virmire. Good guy. Mordin? What are you doing here? Now Cerberus is attacking. Why? Lets get the female out of here. Traynor and Vega have little trouble dealing with the troopers. A giant mech. Big deal. Now its a junk pile.

 

Someone tell me why Cerberus is at Grissom Academy? We storm through them with no problem. Traynor so far has proven herself. Good. I will use her, that to, most likely for all missions I go on. I miss having Miranda. Students save.

 

Back on the Citadel, I see Thane shadow boxing. He's on borrowed time. It was good to see him.

Natalie: Its good to see you Miranda.

Miri: Good to see you to Shepard. You look good.

Natalie: I like it if you join me on the Normandy to take down the reapers.

Miri: I like to, but I haven't heard from my sister so I need to find her.

Natalie: You could do that on the Normandy, plus you can help figure out what Cerberus is doing and where they might strike next.

Miri: Alright Shepard. But as soon as I find where Oriana is, I will go after her. 

Natalie: Fair enough. And thanks. Grab your stuff. Your office is waiting for you.

 

Cool I have Miranda back on the Normandy. There's Steve. We talk for a few minutes. He seems to be happy to get off the ship for some r & r.

Now for Nadia Shepard.... She took off for that Aeia planet where the Hugo Gernsbach crash landed ten years ago. Well it was a paradise. Too bad the food was toxic. And the people living there were like all primitive. We should have left them there. They could have carried on the human race after the reapers left the galaxy. Of course there would have been a lot of inbreeding, but I don't think they would have noticed.

 

But then we listened to the logs. Damn, Jacob's father did all of this. He was responsible? Wow. We've got to do something about him. So we go back and blow up the mechs, take down the big mech and finally talk to the guy. He doesn't even recognize his own son whom he said he raised right. Right alright.

 

Well, daddy can't go unpunished. I'd shoot him, Jacob. I'm sure we can spare the lead.

"Wait, these half-charged rounds won't hurt them," his dad said.

Sentinel Colonist Sole Survivor

 

Sixth Visit

Level 40 - Full Throw, much Barrier, some Stasis, most Decryption, most Electronics, some Warp, full Bastion, near full Charm AND Intimidate, full Spectre Training

-Completed all of Novaria (every sidemission and speaking to Normandy crew afterward)

-Several bars (nearly 50% of max) of Paragon and Renegade each, but Paragon still has a bit more

-Took Wrex and Liara to Novaria, them being Dany's best friend and romantic interest respectively.... but by now, she almost wants to romance Wrex!

-Turned in Anoleis, did the full package transfer, nearly did the full hotel bar business dealing (couldn't do final persuasion check for extra stuff but it was still successful)

-Dany didn't bust her way through the Peak facility, though I did tell her about the two possible routes to get through to Benezia.

-Rachni Queen was SPARED. Dany is rude, mean, but she is not going to be one to kill a whole species based on just what 'may' happen. She's more likely to punish for what 'did' happen, and the Queen doesn't even seem like a Queen that was alive (or at least important) during the Rachni Wars.

-Wrex is still the best. After showing her Citadel DLC clips of him (we do not care about spoilers for the trilogy at all), she is absolutely sure of this now.

-Dany is damn rude to Liara about the asari and their culture, but Liara cannot help but be attracted...

 

Next 1-3 visits will be Pinnacle Station and a crapton of sidequests, mostly UNC. After that, its the Virmire-->Ilos-->Ending run, but I don't know when that will be. If all goes well, like I've said before, it'll be done by the end of the month.

 

Spent rest of day having dinner, watching Youtube, watching Edge of Tomorrow, instead of doing ME1 sidequests. Novaria was enough.

 

She's really enjoying herself. No doubt this will be a full playthrough (even if I have to mineral/writings/etc search for her on my own, so she gets it all). Can't wait for ME2-ME3 later this year.

I take Traynor and Lawson with me to see about some missing Krogan scouts. No way. Grunt. Good to see the guy. He and Miranda say hello. Lets find these scouts.  While Traynor and Lawson do their thing, I will do my thing. Charge. Novasmash. Burn bug. The reapers messed these rachni up. I release the Queen and Grunt is safe and sound.

 

We head to Tuchanka to cure the genophage, not, and learn there's a reaper at the shroud. That sucks. Here comes the uglies. Charge. Novasmash. Shoot face. Ok people. Avoid being stepped on by the reaper. Mordin agrees not to cure the genophage. Good. Take care Mordin.

 

I ask Miranda why would Cerberus attack the Citadel? She says its possible that some of the data they downloaded from Mars may have something they need for whatever reason. Thats possible. Lets deal with these idiots. Charge. Novasmash. Shoot face. They have swords. What year is this? 1574? Now that's just cruel Traynor. She uses her omni drill to rip off the arm of the idiot and stick the sword in her. I hope she does that again. I like to get a picture of that. We deal with the rest of the keystone cops. Miranda shoots Udina.

 

Natalie: Conrad? Its good to see you again.

Conrad: Why are you here? Shouldn't you be fighting the reapers?

Natalie: I am. Just stopped Cerberus from killing the council. How's your wife?

Conrad: Well.... I lied Shepard. I'm not married.

Natalie: Too bad. When I say you on Illium, I was tempted to ask you out on a date. I mean your a nice looking guy and all.

Conrad: Really. I messed up big time didn't I. How about going on a date now?

Natalie: Sorry Conrad. My eyes are on a hot looking number. Take care of yourself Conrad and stay safe.

Conrad: Thanks Commander. And kick some reaper a** for me

Back on the Normandy, Hackett tells me we need more support and that getting the Quarians onboard would help a lot. I tell my new pilot, Freddy Krueger, to head for the Far Rim system

The adventures of Nadia Shepard....

 

I had one more person to take care of. Grunt. Grunt apparently is going through puberty. So I took Grunt to Tuchanka. He and Jack watched as I bet on a few dog fights and fought Urz in a few of them. I made a few thousand credits. Then the NFL suspended me for two years. Whoops, wrong story. I didn't have a dog in that one. So we went to talk to the shaman, and I head butted that ass hole Uvenk, and we began the rite of passage straight away. Varren, then Klixen, then the big Thresher Maw which apparently no one has done since Wrex. Well, not everyone had a Cain either. And I ran around scavenging power cells while Garrus and Grunt finished off the Maw because Cerberus is too cheap to have them on board.

 

Uvenk isn an idiot. So we do the galaxy a favor and blow him away. Teaching Grunt my lesson in life was easy. He's a natural. He seems to want to do it as second nature. He instinctively knows the solution to life's problems. Good boy.

 

So after we got back to the ship we went to the derelict reaper. One thing that was strange is that the Cerberus crew started having the same memory. You know I think that was a random memory contained in the reaper itself. Perhaps that's what reaper indoctrination is about. Getting everyone thinking the same and all that crap. But why do they end up looking like space zombies? Is it the ratings? Jack and I went bowling for dollars, and I charged a few scions. We picked up Legion and went back to the ship. I had a smoke and a shot of whiskey and went to bed.

My Shepard became a Spectre, then ran around the Citadel doing some errands and favours for a few people.

Then headed to Therum to pick up Dr Liara T'Soni.  That what was a lot of fun killing Geth and that smart-ass Battlemaster.

 

Back on the Normandy I talked to Liara and the rest of the team. Picked up a few extra missions from Wrex and Garrus.

The went and killed two crime lords, before heading to deal with Major Kyle.

Just before we talked with the Quarians, I learned a lot more about my new pilot

Natalie: His name seems familiar.

Cortez: His name is the same as a character in some slasher movies from the 1980's, titled The Nightmare On Elm Street. He likes the movies, but otherwise the name is the only thing in common. I've known him for years. We flew together till he left the Alliance to spend more time with his wife and kids.

Natalie: Why isn't he with them now?

Cortez: He was on the Citadel visiting some friends when the reapers attacked Earth. His family live on a farm. He hasn't had any contact with them at all. It was just dumb luck that I saw him on the Citadel and that you removed Joker that he's piloting the Normandy.

Natalie: Its good to have him on the ship. We'll do everything we can so he can see his family again

Cortez: He's know that. Thats probably the main reason he said yes to piloting the Normandy.

Natalie: I'll talk with you later Cortez.

Cortez: Yes ma'am

 

So the Quarians go to war with the Geth. They sure pick the wrong time to do that. I help them. With Traynor and Miranda at my side, we fight through the machines. Is that Legion? I still question myself about having it on my ship when fighting the collectors. I also learned the Geth sided with the reapers instead of being destroyed. Nope. I rather die then be a slave. The Quarians destroy the dreadnought.

 

I go save Koris.

 

Now I face a reaper. You know if the reaper were to fire horizontally, I would be dead. Whatever. Its dead now. I side with the Quarians who in turn destroy the can openers.

 

Back on the Citadel I see Zaeed. He declined my invitation to come back on the Normandy. That sucks. He said he had a few things to take of. Too bad.

 

So now I'm off to Eden Prime to see about some artifact or something. Hopefully this isn't a wild goose chase.

Off to Pinnacle Station to compare myself to all these other supposedly Alliance soldiers but in fact most of the people there are not human. Oh well. I'm apparently better than 62.5% of the competition. I need to work on killing people faster. I hope Bryant (I think his name was) likes the brig because I'm bored and have a galaxy to save. Off to Virmire.

Virmire. Sigh. What a clusterf***. It started out OK. Lots of Geth died getting to the Salarian camp. Although the Captain in charge of the camp probably should have known better than to mention his plan to destroy the base to stop a cure for the genophage IN FRONT OF a Krogan. Happily, was able to talk Wrex down. Apparently the crew was betting on the outcome of the confrontation. Unfortunately didn't know that until afterwards. Could've made a bundle betting on myself.

Sent Ashley off with Kirrahe to help with communications. Garrus, Wrex and I infiltrated the base. Even though I knew time was critical, I couldn't seem to help myself and went off investigating every side alley I could find. Freed the Salarian Commander and the Asari scientist (still not sure that last one was a good idea) but killed all the other obviously indoctrinated Salarians. Found another beacon and got another vision. Still couldn't make heads or tails of it but Liara was able to interpret it once we got back on the Normandy. Unfortunately getting back on the required disabling the AA guns and then blowing up the base. Was heading off to rescue Ashley and the Salarians when Kaidan mentioned that he was being attacked by a bunch of Geth. Had to choose who to help. Chose Kaidan. After a short chat with the now delusional Saren, we got everybody except Ashley off Virmire. I do need to ask someone how we managed to pick up Kirrahe without also picking up Ashley.

Talking to the Council made things worse, as usual. They seem to think Saren is playing me and disregard everything I (and Garrus and Wrex) saw when talking with Saren. And they blamed me for blowing up the base when it was the Salarian's plan. Refused to send the fleet to Ilos because they're sure the Citadel is Saren's target. Then when I was getting ready to go to Ilos on my own, the Council and Udina called and made nice so I went back to the Citadel instead. BIG MISTAKE! Got grounded. Dammit Udina, you should know better.

At least Kaidan spent some time trying to lift my spirits. That was nice until Joker interrupted us at a key moment. Anderson apparently wants to chat. So Garrus, Wrex and I wandered around a bit doing this and that first and then found that Anderson wanted to help us break the Normandy from dock and head to Ilos. So we did. Kaidan then came by and "served under me" (wink wink, nudge nudge) for the night. Totally worth every regulation we broke.

Well at least I'll be more relaxed than usual at Ilos.

NOTE: the mythical Level 60 has been reached! Insanity awaits future play throughs. And I got the "favored companion" award for Wrex but not yet for Garrus. Hopefully will get it for Garrus also before the end.

Had to console command hack the Insanity achievement since I messed it up (changed difficulty by mistake at some point). Rest of playthrough will still be Insanity, but I still had to fix that :S

 

Might hack the favored companion ones too.. I don't know...
