I think Garrus really meant it when he wanted a Turian statue in the Presidium in his honor. Ha ha ha!
Heh, he got his bottle-shooting monument... that no one can ever go see without breaking 137 regulations. Way to pick a spot, Garrus.

I think that is a thing that everybody knows about Mass Effect, don't **** with the doors, or the doors will **** with you ![]()
I had that happen once. During the Cerberus scientists mission, when the big door opened, Garrus and Ashley moved forward and because I was slow to move, the door closed blocking me from helping the squadmates. I ended up exiting out of the game and reloading.
LOL! I never stuck around long enough to see if that was a stage design flaw where instead of the event being triggered, it's timed instead. All games at least have like event cues, and when the player reaches or passes the particular cue(an invisible line or something)an event plays.

If you're fast enough, you can run back behind the door where Thane and Kolyat are after you say your goodbyes to Thane.

To be honored in a place where no one can visit is truly more hurtful than having nothing to honor you. Garrus truly is unlucky.
That's hilarious, Garrus and Ash trying to steal shep's thunder. I usually get too far ahead of the squad. Utukku is bad for that, too many switchbacks and jumps and s***.

That's a sig-worthy quote.
... Knowing Garrus he'd just say, "but you and I both know it's there, shepard. We both know who the king is."
Maybe his master plan is to have that flash of bronze distract a skycar driver as they go by, and make them crash into the krogan monument and destroy it.

Well, they could always grab a Krogan statue from the Tuchanka hallows since there's so many of them in case the Presidium one breaks because a Vakarian that day got jelly. Garrus Vakarian is all up in his own vanity.

We still need to settle the challenge by scoping rampaging Klixens.

The image of that drives me, and haunts me.

So, time to do the mission with Jacob in ME3 for the first time without bugs.
Thank you, whoever mentioned this somewhere on here, that his quest was bugged. NEVER KNEW.
Wait, what? It's bugged? How? I never knew this.

Today, Earth. I got thinking about that scene when Hackett first boards the Normandy. What if one of his bodyguards was indoctrinated and shot him just as he was about to give his big speech. That would've made things interesting. Anyway... it didn't happen like that, heh.
Cortez got Tali, Garrus and shep safely down to the surface, so they could recover the heavy weapons from the crash site of their accompanying shuttle. Perfectly placed turrets at chokepoints is a satisfying way to kill reaper forces. With the hades cannon destroyed it was time to say goodbye to everybody. Romanced Tali's goodbye is very touching: "I want more time." ![]()
From the FOB, Tali, Javik and shep set off to kill a reaper with some missiles. With turrets and drones, it felt like I had a six-person squad, and even the banshees had no real chance against us, let alone the reaper. shep's drone and chiktikka had so much fun chasing marauder shields out of cover that that's all they wanted to do. I didn't complain.
Javik probably wasn't the best choice to accompany a couple techies, but I figured he'd rather have a chance to die in a battle than some ceremonial suicide. In the end he helped Tali escape on the Normandy after she was badly hurt during the beam run. shep told her to live and build a house on Rannoch.
Then some crazy stuff happened until it was time to make a choice, so shep did. For the first time ever, I had Garrus telling Joker it was time to get the hell out of there and outrun the big blue beam. Usually it's the VS in my games.
Before shep gets down to the serious business of repairing and safeguarding the galaxy, I think his first decision will be to huskify TIM's remains and let him watch for eternity just how awesome it is to control the reapers every day.

Hackett did want reaper tech samples from that N7 mission called Cerberus Lab. I can only blame Hackett for getting shot.

And there you have it. It could happen. The guard could be a sleeper agent.

Hackett could be indoctrinated.
I always thought that mission was pretty stupid since the Alliance wanted Reaper tech samples. Like Garrus said, nothing good ever came from Reaper tech.

That's why he believed Cerberus when they denied responsibility for Benning.
