I have really good Brute fights in my other shots that I'll share shortly. I magically get biotics when we resume fighting.

This had to be its own post since the Brute fight looked awesome! Charged at charging Brute with my Biotic Fist! Probably the best Brute fight I've done. To be honest, there is no way you can dodge a Brute under its claw. HAX!

Ha, that's awesome. Makes me wanna play a vanguard now, instead of an adept, with Lash as BP. Still get shockwave. 

 

EDIT: Or maybe Flare as BP. Suspend guys in the air with shockwave, then hit 'em with a Flare.

The last photo was meant to say that biotic fisted right through the Brute, but it wasn't cool enough since it doesn't have a hole through its body. :/

Too bad it didn't gib, like a headshot. I mean, if you can punch right through a brute, that should good enough for an exploding death.

It's a shame bosses don't explode to bloody bits. I had to kill my own party just so they don't distract the Brute. When I want to set up for a cool shot like those shots up there where I'm dodging the Reaper's beam during the Thanix Missiles part, I put the game in slowmo so that I can easily time it, Sometimes, I'll play in slowmo for a minute and see if there's a cool shot I can take.

It's a shame bosses don't explode to bloody bits. I had to kill my own party just so they don't distract the Brute. When I want to set up for a cool shot like those shots up there where I'm dodging the Reaper's beam during the Thanix Missiles part, I put the game in slowmo so that I can easily time it, Sometimes, I'll play in slowmo for a minute and see if there's a cool shot I can take.

I know what you mean: Garrus and his ****ing Javelin headshots, stealing all my good kills that I took time to set up. Atlas 'Mechs do explode but it's not the same.

So do Geth Primes. You're only lucky against Prime explosions if you're an Adept or Vanguard since the explosion only damages Shields, and not Barriers. 

 

I give my Garrus Black Widow or Javelin depending on the stage.

I usually don't get close enough to a Prime for its explosion to be a concern. Its death animation takes a few seconds, so if I am playing a close-quarter killing machine like a vanguard or a sentinel, or even an infiltrator, I'm already moving on to the next target. 

 

I just meant I'd like to knock Garrus out for some fights so he'd stop stealing my good kills, heh.

Change of plans. Instead of going to Tuchanka, TIM directed us to this "derelict" Collector ship to see what we info could get from it. I took Thane and Mordin along. It was the same ship that had attacked the Normandy 2 years ago and that had abducted the colonists on Horizon. The carnage was awful. We got in fine but getting out proved more difficult. Something who called itself Harbinger kept "possessing" individual Collectors and ranting at us. Something about having to take personal action. Thankfully, the Collectors it was possessing died the same as all the others. Except for this one Praetorian (where I spent a LOT of time running away from it while weakening its shields and barriers - only to have it refresh the d*** barriers once again... repeat), the battles weren't too bad. And we did manage to get away before the ship got its weapons back online. For some reason Joker seemed to think we were dawdling on the way back to the Normandy. I assured him that we were moving as fast as we could while being shot at. I mean any faster and we might not have been able to find all the good stuff laying around on that ship. Really, by now he should know that I can't pass anything up.

 

Well it turns out TIM knew that the whole thing was a trap BEFORE we went in. Let's just say that we had words and I trust him less now than I did before, if that is even possible. Going to Tuchanka for real tomorrow.
