John Shepard
Colonist/War Hero
Surprise Surprise, John got screwed by the Council yet again. Thanks to Anderson he escaped and stole the Normandy, but Shep just wished that Udina could screw the council for once instead of him. But on to the good stuff. Before he headed to Ilos, there were a couple things to take care of. Major Kyle was taken to custody without a fight, and that rogue alliance group Cerberus was destroyed. "And that's the end of Cerberus for good!" thought Shepard "No way I'll ever have to deal with their experiments gone awry ever again!".
Then it was off to some listening posts gone dark. Lo and behold, Rachni again! It was a good thing Shep brought Wrex, the Krogan was absolutely giddy that he could be the first of his kind in thousands of years to kill some buggers. Tali on the other hand screamed something about spiders, I think she may have a phobia of some sort. Regardless, Shepard just put on the soundtrack to Starship Troopers and killed wave after wave of the buggers until he found their nests and exterminated them. He then traced the Rachni back to a depo, turns out it was none other than Cerberus who lost control of these bugs and almost doomed a system. "Well, at least every trace of this terrorist organization has been destroyed, NOW I'll never have to worry about them again." thought Shepard.
Then it was off to Ilos. A bunch of dead Geth and Krogan later, John, Wrex and Tali discover the purpose of the conduit and how to stop Sovereign from Vigil. They race up to the Citadel, kill even more Geth and Krogan and finally makes it to Saren. Shep convinces Saren to kill himself, and has the Alliance rescue the Destiny Ascension, figuring the forces saved would be worth the Alliance sacrifice. And even though Zombie Saren tried to stop him, Shepards new lvl X Spectre master gear triumphed. Shepard pauses to note the irony that the Council was saved by a Human, Quarian, and Krogan, with not a single council race in sight, and then ducks just in time to dodge debris.
Shepard is a hero, he nominates Udina even though he is a jerk, but at least maybe now he can screw someone else over for the benefit of humanity, he may be a politician, but he does have humanity's best interest at heart, and Anderson just isn't the political type and would probably be walked over by the bureaucracy. Now it's off to the Terminus Border to kill some more Geth and try to find some missing ships.
One disastrous encounter and two years later Shepard wakes up on an operating table in what looks like a space station where something has gone horribly wrong. He fights his way through some rogue mechs and meets up with a man called Jacob. Shepard asks what is going on.
Jacob: "If I tell you who we work for, will you trust me? OK, I work for a group called Cerberus"
Shepard: "You have got to be kidding me!"

Trying to be anti-geth works poorly in the script. Just landed on Rannoch and here is Shepard saying "when will you learn to trust me." Why? Why should this robot trust Shepard when she's made it clear she wants to wipe out the geth? The script it much too micro-focused on individual dialogue choices rather than over-all alignments.
My custom solution is to blindfold myself and scream NANANANANANANA in those parts. ![]()

Its not that bad. For me, I get a great scene with Samantha and femshep. It wouldn't be possible without Garrus's sacrifice. He will be honored in the coming empire
I've never done a Garrus-free ME3 run, what act does that scene take place in?

After Shepard cures/sabotages the genophage. Traynor will show up just as Primarch Victus is walking out of the war room.

Eh, got sidetracked by crusader kings 2. The kingdom of georgia is strong, although I had to murder my two year old son.
Interesting choice, the crossroads of the ERE, Muslims and the two Mongol hordes. Do you plan on having an 'escape' Kingdom or Duchy somewhere in case things go wrong? Croatia is also a fun small Kingdom to play. You're squeezed between the HRE and ERE but have quite a few options for expansion. Georgia is definitely the harder choice. Kudos.

You can't say MaleShep and Garrus never went beyond bros.

Hahaha, that is so gross. Does broshep actually say those lines or are they in femshep's voice.

It's muted dialogue, but his lips still move.

Started a new FemShep playthrough since I didn't feel like continuing the other one.
Other than a few weird things, like a small container park where our new convention centre is, Bioware really made a beautiful Vancouver 2186.

Everytime I go down to the waterfront, I can see Reapers in my mind's eye landing. Pretty cool. People look at me weird when I start making lazer and explosion noises.
This is the view north of Canada place, across the water. As you can see, we got to get cracking on those mile high towers in North Van, view of the mountains be damned!

It's like everyone adopted Asari architecture.

I think you are literally correct, the Asari influenced many things in the Alliance going by the codex. Their arcology skyscrapers sure are pretty.

Only problem with that is according to the codex, sea levels have risen 2m. Most of it should be under water, or have massive defence walls.
Same problem with Priority Earth, the entirety of that level should be under water as they don't appear to have raised the defences in that level...

Look at the ME3 Canada Place and the real one. You can still see the dock pilings on the real one. And, the waterfront looks completely different, look at that high uniform sea wall around the harbour. They may have actually put thought into this...

Well they definitely didn't in PE; but then that goes for the whole level regardless.
Red phone boxes.. oh **** off with that Bioware.

I post quite often over there in the OT forums, haven't been active in the game forums for a while. I am Baron Jukaga over there.
PE is an abomination. There is a reason my last 4 playthus ended after Cronos station. ![]()

Michelle Shepard
I head back to the Citadel to resupply the Normandy. I run into Mr. Conrad Verner

We head to Noveria and run into the lovely Gianna Parasini. Too bad I wasn't a guy. Hmm.hmm. She asks for my help. So I do. I talk with Lorik Qui'in who has a rodent problem that needs exterminating. No problem. He was right. He did have a rodent peoblem and they were carrying guns. The nerve of them. Kill them. Get the info for Lorik. Gianna was good on her word and gave me a pass. She promised a beer the next time we meet. But I like something more.
In the Mako we go. What's playing on the radio this time? Cool. Ram It Down. I told Ashley, who was driving to ram the Gethbots. Yess. 100 points for that one and 50 points for that one. Wayy to go Ash. Thats got to be worth 1000 points. Out of the Mako we and into the builging ti fight more Geth.
What vermin is this? We pull out our fly swatters and kill the things. What a mess. Now we fight some mercs. There she is.

With Benezia dead, I decide to save the Queen. Back on the ship the council tells me about Virmire. I guess that's my next location. Bye.
