And there we have ME4 ignoring the endings

My homeboys.

Stopped Udina's pigeon coup!
Shepard: What am I doing here? I'm here to stop Udina and Cerberus from taking the Citadel. And it looks like I just saved your a**.

Cerberus Guardian: This shield is impenetrable, Shepard. You can't possibl--
Shepard: Nothing is impenetrable.
EDI: Was that a joke?

Shepard: What do you think, Councilor?
Valern: *muffles*

Shepard: Thank god you're here, Thane. We needed to take a break. We'll be right back in a few...
Thane: Shepard, wait--

Shepard, Valern, EDI, & Garrus, mumble in the background as Thane faces off with the assassin.
Shepard: And now we're back, and we're here LIVE in front of the-- Oh my, Jesus! Thane!

Shepard: Damn, Asians! Ninja skills, man! Ninja skills! *Breaks the fourth wall* And you thought Emily Wong was annoying...
Thane: I have time, Shepard. Catch him. But one question, Shepard. Why weren't you covering me?
Shepard: I couldn't get a good aim. You two were moving too fast. Oh, and we were on break.

Garrus: Shep, I need you down here! Fast! My Visor is getting in my face!
Shepard: Take it off!
Garrus: No, we have to stay in character. Besides, how will you recognize me without my visor?

Shepard: Love watching those Nemesis fly! What are they like 50 pounds?
Garrus: They just don't make them like they used to.
EDI: Garrus. What do you think about Shepard's physique?
Shepard: Don't even go there, Garrus, or I'll bite.
Garrus: You're so mean to me.
EDI: This has been a pleasant experience.
Shepard: You learn from the best, EDI.
Kaidan: *Breaks fourth wall* Oh, yes! This could be our front cover for the upcoming movie: Heroes of the Citadel.
Tevos: Wait! Cerberus is waiting for us at the elevator. We can't go back, Spectre Alenko.
Kaidan: Exactly! *Breaks fourth wall* It's hard to believe you're still playing even after these sh***y dialogues.

Kaidan: Shepard... that's nasty.
Shepard: Not that you idiot! Udina's behind this attack!
Udina: Please. You don't have any proof. You never do!
Shepard: Oh, yeah? What about the Reapers? Proof! Oh, and if you open that door they will kill you all except for my crew and I 'cause, you know, we always live. *Breaks fourth wall* If Cerberus hasn't killed me yet, nor the Collectors, what chance does this assassin have? *wink*
Shepard: Oh, yeah, you won't. And about our little talk about burying what happened on Horizon, yeah, that never happened... dick. *Breaks fourth wall* But what I was supposed to say was:

Kaidan: He's got that YoloSwag gun!
Shepard: See that, Kaidan? A bullet to the heart solves everything.
Kaidan: I know that now.
Shepard: No you don't--- Hoorah, we saved the Council!

Shepard: I knew it! I f****** knew it! You were with Cerberus! It all makes sense!
Bailey: No, wait, Shepard! I can explain!
Shepard: Explain it to Allers!
Bailey: No--

Shepard: *Breaks fourth wall* They owe me so much that I could purchase Thessia. Now, where do I make my payment?

We land on Virmire. Ok. What song should I listen to? Here will go. I like this one. Dreamer It seems Garrus isn't a fan of rock-n-roll, but Ashley is jammin' away. Doesn't matter. I'm the boss. Hahahaha. We run over Gethbots and get the gate open as well deactivating the guns. We meet with the Salarians who tell me Saren is breeding Krogan. Thats not good. We need to bomb this facility. I tell Kaidan to go with Captain Kirrahe
I have Ashley and Garrus with me. Making good progress. Fight a lot of Geth and a few Krogan. What's this? Another beacon? Now what?
Lets go set the bomb. Get back here Kaidan. I'm sorry Kaidan, but I can only save one of you. Be strong my friend. Here comes Saren
Saren gets away and we need to leave before the bomb goes boom. We will get revenge. Lets go get this scientist.

How do you even make that Spoiler box?
And I read Saren and Shep's conversation like that conversation with that Turian clerk in the Zakera Ward in ME2.

Just go with "Scoped and dropped!", and you'll be cruising through insanity
Things definitely got a little easier once I got used to ME2's sniping mechanic again. Sniper to the head followed by incinerate takes care of most problems & stops regen on Vorcha and Krogan.
John Shepard
Colonist/War Hero/Infiltrator
Well well well, isn't Omega just a fine and dandy place. So it turns out the new Normandy isn't all that stealthy, as soon as John landed, someone named Aria wanted to speak. Apparently she is the Alpha Varren of Omega, but she does offer some important info on Mordin and Archangel, so she isn't all bad. Well, off to Gozu district to stop a plague. This might be a little difficult, since John's usual solution to a problem is to shoot it until it stops being a problem, biology isn't really his strong suit.
Mordin turns out to be a big help in this regard, having already synthesized a cure. The only problem is that a lot of Vorcha are between him and the dispersal vents. "Don't worry, this is my speciality" says John, and he proceeds to shoot the Vorcha and odd Krogan until they stop being a problem. With the cure dispersed and Mordin's assistant saved, the doctor joins up. John finds it quite peculiar how the salarian is far more excited to work with Cerberus than John is. Well, I guess it will help morale so no problems here.
Now it's off to help the trapped vigilante known as Archangel. Looks like he got himself into quite the mess with the mercs. After convincing a stupid kid not to sign on for a doomed mission, its off to the hideout. Looks like they want Shep to be cannon fodder, and Shep scoffs at the idea, he killed more slavers on Elysium single handedly then there are mercs present. With two squad mates and a Batman wannabe at his side, he'll be unstoppable!
After betraying his employer faster than Walder Frey, Shep meets up with the mysterious vigilante who is none other than his old buddy Garrus! With plentiful ammo, they repel the first wave with a hacked mech giving additional support. The fight underground was a lot tougher, with a lot more heavy weapon ammo being expended to keep the shutters clear then Shepard would have liked. Nonetheless, two merc groups down, one to go.
Shep started to regret being such a good guy with Cathca when the gunship showed up. Thats a lot of armor. Garrus gets taken unawares and is seriously injured while Shepard wears down the gunship to its demise. The good news for Garrus is, Cerberus doctors were able to patch him up. The bad news is, Scar removal tech is way too rich for Shepard's blood.
But Shepard, I was born in London...
Anderson was born in London?
I think this should be annoyingly nostalgic:
"I was born in London."

When did the world go Insane? Everything has armor, and my bullets seem to be made of tissue paper. And did those security mechs almost kill me.... ON THE TUTORIAL?!
Needless to say, ME2 is going to be an insanity run. As it turns out, I had every ME2 achievement bar one, "Insanity". I've dabbled in Hardcore runs, but I've never committed to a full run-through at the highest difficulty. So here I am at last, getting the final achievement for my favorite Xbox game of all time. This could take awhile.
Also what is the deal with these thermal clips? The old gun systems were way better.
When I played on Insanity the first time the security mechs did kill me in the tutorial ![]()

Instead of heading for Therum, we head to Luna Base to stop a rogue VI
Boy oh boy. This VI is really trying to stop me. We finally destroy the thing. Now to Therum
Alright. Before we move, lets see what's playing on the radio. Haven't heard this song in a long time. Turbo Lover. Cool. Lets get going. More geth to destroy. This is fun running over Geth and using the cannon to destroy them. Here's a big Geth.
We end to having to go the rest of the way on foot. No problem. More Gethbots to destroy. We enter the digsite and face a few Geth. Is that the scientist? It seems that she is trapped. Ok. We get her out and now face some Krogan.
Back on the ship, we learn from this Liara T'soni that the conduit is on Ilos. Head back to the Citadel.
What? You grounding me Udina? Fine your funeral pal. In the meantime, we go restock the ship and do some shopping. Everyone got some new armor and upgrades for their weapons. I get a call to meet Anderson at the Flux. He says he can unlock the Normandy. Good. True to his word, the Normandy is unlocked and we head to Ilos.
Damn. Must fine a way to open the door. Fight through the Geth and see a damaged VI. The wording was all broken up, but it did mention the conduit. We head back to the Mako. What song? Nice. Bang Your Head. Whats this? A barrier of some sort. We head down an elevator to see if there's a way to get through the barrier. Another VI. Its damaged, but not enough that I can understand it and it understands me. It tells me the Citadel is a relay that the reapers use to begin the cycle. It gives me a data file that will help in stopping Saren.
Back to the Mako and more music. You Can't Kill Rock and Roll. We run into a lot of Geth. I run over most of them and use the cannon on the others. There's the Conduit. Lets go. This Mako needs turbo boost. Here we go. Weeeeeeeee. That was fun. Now on the Citadel. Lets get Saren.
Man there's a lot of Geth and a few Krogan. Finally we make it and see Saren at the console.
I tell the fleets to focus on Sovereign. No way. Saren is now a grasshopper. He wants to die a second time, then I will make sure he dies a second time. Now stay dead. Oh crap. Everyone get to cover. I'm alive. Whew. That was close. Afew bumps and bruises is all, but otherwise I'm fine.
I pick Udina to be the human councilor. I'm going to find a way to stop the reapers
Well, I'm alive. In fact, we are all alive. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to say that a few days ago. First, I got my head back together and then we went after the Reaper IFF. Not surprisingly, there were a ton of Geth there. That was bad for the Cerberus scientists but their logs indicate that they were already indoctrinated. So being turned into husks might not have been the worst thing that could have happened to them. At least, it was easier to kill them as husks.
Surprisingly, however, there was this one Geth who actually called me by name and helped us. That was just too intriguing for me to leave him behind when we left. Granted he was deactivated at the time but, still, a few of my teammates were a bit leery of the idea. And I know Miranda was pissed because I didn't turn the Geth over to Cerberus but pissing off Cerberus always makes me happier. I did, however, reactivate the Geth to see why it behaved the way it did. After a very interesting conversation, during which we decided to call it Legion, I decided to help it out by eliminating the pro-Reaper faction of the Geth.
Thane, Legion and I proceeded to the stronghold of these Heretics (that's what Legion's group calls them) and found the virus that they were planning to upload to Legion's faction. We destroyed it and, oh yeah, a whole lot of Heretics as well. And, although we had intended to kill all the Heretics, Legion told us of an alternative proposition basically involving rewriting them so that they would support Legion's group's point of view. It wasn't an easy choice but I decided to rewrite them because destroying them is very very final and rewriting at least lets them live. Even if living means believing something that they found abhorrent yesterday because I found what they used to believe to be abhorrent.
At that point things were proceeding as expected. We had helped Legion out while EDI was installing the IFF. But when they were taking it on a test run all hell broke loose. Only by something of a miracle did Joker and EDI manage to save the Normandy from the Collector ship that showed up but the rest of the crew wasn't that lucky. The Collectors took all of them. That just gave me the final push I apparently needed to go through the Omega-4 relay and take the fight to the Collectors. So we did. At least I got to spend the few hours it took to get there with Thane.
Once there I was glad of every d&*$ hour I spent looking for raw materials and upgrading the ship. While the Normandy wasn't exactly unscathed it did survive and that was all that we needed. The crew worked together like the team that we've become and we made it through to the core. Happily we discovered most of the Normandy's crew alive on the way there and got them back to the Normandy safe and sound. Unhappily, most of the Horizon colonists had been turned into a sticky goo as part of the Collectors' plan to make a human Reaper. Destroying that monstrosity was just a favor to the universe. As was destroying the whole Collector base. Although apparently TIM thought we should save the base for the technology. If I trusted him to actually share the technology with all of our fellow citizens of the galaxy and not abuse the hell out of it, I might have taken him up on it. As it was, Thane, Garrus and I proceeded to blow up the base and miraculously enough managed to get back to the Normandy and get the Normandy back through the relay before we all died.
TIM was seriously ticked off at me but I told him to shove it. Man, I've been waiting for awhile to tell him that. Not sure what I'll do next. I'm feeling the need to visit the old Normandy's crash site and at some point fairly soon I have to go back to Earth to face the music over the dead Batarians. First, I'll take a couple of days to just enjoy still being alive.
then we went after the Reaper IFF. Not surprisingly, there were a ton of Geth there. That was bad for the Cerberus scientists but their logs indicate that they were already indoctrinated. So being turned into husks might not have been the worst thing that could have happened to them. At least, it was easier to kill them as husks.
There was only one Geth there, unless you are counting all 1083 (?) programs loaded into Legion.
Haha you can target Sovvy! Niftu Cal has nothing on Darya Shepard.A couple of inserts during the Battle of the Citadel for Darya Shepard!
On our way to take on Saren, Darya decided to take on Sovereign directly.
No time to take my armor off. I had to go visit Thane in the hospital. Not sure if he's the one who didn't want to die in a hospital... :S

Shepard: Please, Kaidan. That was like three light years ago, and I still don't know why you're not dead even after being stunned by a collector swarm.
Kaidan: BioWare quality, that's what.
Shepard: What?
Kaidan: Nothing...

Shepard: Please, I'd rather trust a geth.
Dany Shepard happened again, finally, but it was just sidequests and chatting! ![]()

Approx 50% of both Paragon and Renegade still, Paragon still a little more.
Rank VIIish gear is normal now, and soon VIII and IX will be.
-Only completed a couple more random UNC planets (full clear of maps, using Mass Effect Wiki for reference), and Tali's Pilgrimage Data sidemission. Of course Dany gave her the data.
-Wrex all the time still, but took Tali to fight geth.
-Next visit is Pinnacle Station (for sure now) and more sidequests (anything more trilogy-story related like Cerberus etc), which she isn't minding at all (except the crappy angles to drive over on the Mako). I'll have to bump the completion time to happen September instead of August.
