Once upon a time, there were three beautiful ladies who lived in interesting times, and they each had many hazardous adventures.
shep: First human spectre. Zero tolerance for bullsh*t.
Miri: Genetically perfect. Out of your league.
Sam: Part Samurai. Part Jedi. All business... some of the time.
But I took them away from all that, and now they work for me. My name is TIM...
Tonight's Episode: Twins, Basil... Twins!
Starring:
Ori: The twin. Likes fast cars and classical music.
Niket: Wut? Gimme my money.
Enyala: Owns a claymore. Not afraid to use it.
Cannon fodder #1: Pouting because he dies first.
Cannon fodder #2: Has no lines. Steals show anyway.
Our story begins in the starboard observatory on the Normandy. shep is at the table, blindfolded, field-stripping her M-96 Mattock. Miri is turning down possible suitors on iPartner. Sam is meditating by the window...
TIM: Good morning, angels.
Miri: Good morning, boss.
Sam *rises* : Morning TIM.
TIM: shep?
shep: One moment.... and done. EDI?
EDI: 36.7 seconds, shep.
TIM: Well done, shep. New record?
EDI: Yes, TIM. 0.8 seconds faster than her previous time.
Sam: Only 0.8 seconds? Tsk, tsk my dear shep.
shep: Your turn, Sam.
Sam: For the rifle, or... nevermind.
shep: Morning, boss.
TIM: Angels, I'll get right to it. This won't be your standard assignment, but I want you to go to Ilium.
Sam: Oooh, I like Ilium.
shep: *sigh* We know. What's the mission, boss?
TIM: Miri, you know I hate to give you bad news, but your father is back in the picture, and your sister is in danger.
Miri: Dammit.
shep: Miri has a sister?
Sam *shrug*
Miri: She's my twin sister, Ori. I'll tell you everything on the way...
TIM: Go to Eternity and meet up with Lanteia. She'll give you the details. Good luck, angels.
Lanteia told the angels that a band of eclipse mercs, led by the notoriously evil Enyala, was waiting in the Ilium Cargo Transfer Terminal to nab Ori and bring her back to her father. So far, Ori was unaware she was heading for trouble, and Miri wanted to keep it that way. The angels had to be fast. They had fought eclipse before, so speed shouldn't be an issue, but shep broke out the disruptor ammo and passed it around anyway.
Enyala's chief lieutenant and his backup met the angels when they arrived. He was the kind of guy who only thinks he's a badass, and he liked the sound of his own voice a lot. When he finally paused to take a breath, the angels exploded him and his backup in short order and resumed the hunt for Enyala. It was a good hunt with lots of explosions, and it resulted in a large number of dead salarian engineers, one dead merc boss, a couple of elevator rides, some looted credits, and one happy reunion.
Only decent screenie I managed to get of Samara, who didn't have any lines of dialogue
, in the whole mission.
*Sneak Preview of the next exciting episode*
Liara *speed dials* :Shep? Is that you?
shep: Liara. How's it going?
Liara: In a spot of trouble, shep. Not Therum bad, but bad enough. Could use a hand from the angels. Can TIM spare you?
shep: I think so. He's invited Miri and her sister for a weekend 'conference'.
Sam: Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Liara: I see. Can you come to Ilium?
shep: Thought you were an information broker, Li. Didn't you know we're already here?
Liara: Ha. Ha. Just get here.
