Dear diary
I awakened this morning, only to think, the ending to ME3 will now and forever suck.
I was verra sad.
What happened themikefest? I didn't realize anything in ME1 could impact mineral resource war assets in ME3.
And SporkFu - the Charlie's Angels bit is epic!
I will have an answer some time tomorrow. Or at least I hope to. Its something that has been bothering for the last 6 1/2 playthroughs.
I thought it was just your ME2 platinum amount that impacts your assets in ME3.
I thought it was just your ME2 platinum amount that impacts your assets in ME3.
Its a lot more to it than that. I will have an answer tomorrow once I finish ME2 and check the assets in ME3.

Who needs ME3 to win Earth back?
OK. The last couple of days have been weird. On the plus side, we have added a Prothean and Garrus to the crew and EDI has a new body. On the minus side, the Turians home world was invaded and they won't help us unless we can get the Krogan to help them and the Reapers are pretty much running amok wherever they want to. And I'm getting pulled in about 10 different directions.
Javik is our new Prothean squad member. Yes, he is, in fact, a real live Prothean who survived being in stasis for 50,000 or so years. We picked him up on Eden Prime right under Cerberus' nose. Because I had that cipher put into my head a couple of years ago, I could understand how to get him out of stasis safely. Hah to Cerberus. Liara was SO excited about meeting Javik until, well, he started speaking. Apparently, Liara's version of the Prothean civilization and the actual thing are quite different. He unfortunately knows nothing about the Crucible device we're trying to build but he is supposed to be a crack soldier. So he'll stay on the Normandy and help us out here.
We met up with Garrus on Palaven's moon when we went looking for the Primarch. Thankfully he had gotten off Palaven. The Reapers hit it very hard. With Garrus' help, we were able to reach the Primarch and convince him to come back with us for this summit (which the Asari are now declining to attend). However, he won't help Earth unless he can take some pressure off Palaven and for that he thinks we need the Krogan. I can understand his point. Palaven was getting hit very hard and the Krogan are well the Krogan. Unfortunately, the Krogan also have a long standing (and not entirely unjustified) dislike of the Turian's so it may not be possible to convince them to help. But maybe Wrex will listen to me. It's worth a shot at least.
And EDI. EDI was messing around with the Cerberus AI unit from Mars when the thing tried to pull a fast one. Happily, EDI took it down by basically taking over the unit but the process was not seamless (I think that was her word). Miraculously, she didn't manage to either fry all our electronics or burn the Normandy into scrap metal. But she did decide that she liked the idea of going mobile. Every male on the Normandy agrees with her. Hopefully she won't distract Joker or James (Lt. Vega) too much but it could be useful to have her technical expertise around when we're off the ship. We'll see.
On a happy note, Kaidan is getting better and Thane got in contact with me. Turns out they're both in the same hospital on the Citadel. Happily they don't know each other. Or at least I hope they don't. I am a bit worried about Thane being in the hospital so I want to head back there to see him. But I really need to try to get my head around what I need to do next first. Too many tasks, not enough time, resources, etc. for me to go check on my current and ex-boyfriends without having an actual reason to be there. However, I'm sure I can come up with something. ![]()
So, after a few days of prep, it's finally time to re-take Omega. TBH, I just got sick of hearing all about it EVERY, SINGLE, TIME, I went to Purgatory....

Met the ultra-cool Nyreen. Useful. Also dead now ![]()

Kicked Cerberus ass....

Kicked some more Cerberus ass....

Would have let Petrovsky live, but Aria seemed kind of insistent....

Still, she was grateful;

Then chilled out, and told Liara all about it.....erm, except that last part....

Did I mention that I totally kicked Cerberus butt?

The M-98 Widow X really rocks! ![]()
Bloody hell, Shep not only stole Miranda's outfit but her chest too!
Michelle Shepard
She finished or at least fixed the problem in ME1 and currently finished the suicide mission with no deaths( a rarity for me). She's going to do the arrival dlc. She like's talking with Harbinger and hopefully will import herself into ME3 to see if all her hard work has paid off.
John Shepard
Colonist/War Hero/Infiltrator
Today, John decided to give Jack his get out of jail free card in the form of what he can only assume is a Scrooge McDuck sized vault of credits. So he departs afterlife and goes to purgatory. If he didn't know better, he would think the universe is playing with him, what with the whole returning from the dead, afterlife, getting his own archangel, and now purgatory.
Anyways, off to the super jail. Upon arrival, Shepard is met by armed guards who request he hand over his weapon. Shepard responds that that will happen over his dead body, so they let him through. Shepard then realizes that there might be a problem with this whole prisoner exchange.... Him and Jack might actually have the same name! If this Jack is just a nickname for John, there would be endless confusion on the Normandy! Shepard starts to regret this recruitment, but its too late, already here so might as well get on with it.
Then the warden pulls a fast one and tries to capture Shepard. "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal" Yells Shepard. Unfortunately for the Blue Suns, there is a lot of open space on this prison ship, and Shepard, Zaeed and Garrus all have sniper rifles. Then in the superman wing, to Shepard's great relief, Jack turns out to be a woman! Yay! no awkward naming conflicts! Unfortunately, this biotic is completely psychotic, but she did solo 4 YMIR mechs in her cell so welcome to the SR2.... just try not to biotically punch a whole in the Normandy's side, that armor is brand new.
Michelle Shepard took the night off. I amused myself by playing my first ever MP games. I apologize to all the good players who carried me through the majority of those 5 games since I had/have no clue what I am doing. I knew to stay with team mates and not to rush the LZ in Wave 11. I could not quite figure out how to level up in between 2 games so I spent most of the first 3 games at the Level 1 skill set even though I was supposedly Level 9 or 10 by then. And I have no idea how to communicate with squadmates so I couldn't profusely thank them for their generosity in putting up with my noobiness. But it was a lot of fun. And I will do better the next time.
I hope Michelle appreciates the boost to galactic readiness that she got.
Shepard gets laid by an asari.
Someone needs to mod Shepard with Petrovsky's goatee. It's pretty epic for an older MaleShep. I Wants!
You can just edit the coalesced file to make the reaper awareness and response radius massive so you never have to worry; it's what I do as it has really lost its charm now.
Same for ME2 mineral scanning.
Yeah, but I'm playing this on my 360 so I can put up my feet and sit on my couch. When I get around to Darya's misadventure on the PC, I'll simply edit the war assets and make Diana Allers worth 10,000 war assets and I think that'll take care of the entire thing. Hey that gets rid of scanning altogether, finding the artifacts, and all those fetch quests that don't matter anyway.
Should do a screen shot of the war assets showing Allers at 5, then romance Allers and then when that's locked in have it go up to 10,000.
