Rule #2 -- The Double Tap: You think it's dead, one more makes 100% sure.
"I know that now." --- but wait, wasn't it "A bullet to the head solves everything"?

Of course that definition is from the updated 2186 list. I'm still using the 2009 list ![]()

It's a rule that villains in movies need to learn when fighting the protagonist.
Dear lord, I managed to make it through Noveria and Virmire today, but now I'm on life support. I just need one final push to get through Ilos and the end game, and then I can put ME1 away and look forward to Destiny.
I'll sadly have to pick the game back up again later down the line once I decide to start my proper run through ME1, but that's a long way away from now. At least I'm getting the life draining, tedious preparation stage over and done with now.
The thing is, ME1 is actually tolerable to play through when you do side missions in between the main missions. Playing the main missions one after the other is a killer because they are all so damn long. Thankfully Bioware fixed this in the sequels, and made most main missions no longer than 45 minutes.
Well Not Legion lied again. It's lied to me about one thing after another. We're on our way to destroy the main base. I've come to the conclusion that we can't trust it. It has its own agenda. Tali agrees as does Javik. We fight our way through the geth base using quarian anti-synthetic rifles, and these things are perfect for killing geth. Then it was time to target the main signal that was coming from inside a silo for the Normandy. Apparently the Geth had built a hardened silo for a reaper. The destroyed climbed out of it.
Once targeted, the fleet hit it from orbit. I don't know how it managed to survive the initial bombardment. I don't know how we managed to survive the initial bombardment. I don't know what possessed me to get out and try to aim this targeting laser on foot, but the destroyer's thanix weapon didn't seem to even burn or melt the rock behind me. Wow, I don't think the Quarians have anything to worry about. They can use this stuff to enhance their ship's armor and they'll be fine. Also they could build underground bunkers out of this rock and live out the horrors of the harvest there until the reapers leave, then be the dominant species in the next cycle.
Anyway that reaper spoke to me, and it explained that the whole invasion extinction thing is not something we organics can comprehend. It was right. The whole thing is stupid. This time they're going to die.
Then Not Legion decides it wants to upload the code. It says it can help us take Earth if "the creator forces stop firing." You know what, Not Legion? I don't trust you. All your kind has ever done to me is shoot at me. They've shot first and never asked questions. What about after this war? What then? No, I don't think so. You butchered the quarians and drove them from their homeworld. You sided with the reapers, twice. Hasta la vista, baby.
Gonna go shop again at Cerb R Us.

I wonder if there is a Toys R Us store in 2186?
Do I dare ask what you intend to buy?
1) Dragoon whips for dominatrix.
2) A Phantom sword for dancing.
3) And a Nemesis Raptor. I heard those are 3 shots and do damage of a Widow. ![]()

Maybe, but the most I ever saw in 2186 was that toy that the Catalyst kid was playing with in Vancouver. I still want that Citadel model.
Tonight, Amy did this, whilst listening to this rather good tune from her University years:

(I tried to get a Amy/Miranda romance going, but it wasn't playing ball so she went and drowned her sorrows, then danced whilst getting letched at by some random Alliance Marine. On his way home, according to C-Sec reports, someone shouted "Stop letching you perve, I don't swing that way" before he was biotic charged into the Presidium Lake).
Is it possible to remove the HUD and have free-roam camera in the game?
That outfit looks good on Miranda

Yes, it's what all my screenshots are done using, especially ones like these:

Did you remove the shoulder piece?
Sorta yes and no. A change to the Coalesced.bin file which tells the game to use an armorpiece that doesn't point to any 3d mesh. Therefore it becomes invisible, but should still apply the bonus effect.
How do you do that? Ini file edits?

Pretty much. It's how you get rid of headpieces on armor sets, not technically the same, but it's the same concept.

Hmm, I'll have to research it more thoroughly. As I understand, it will remove the HUD permanently, without the ability to turn it on/off on the fly?

No, it only removes it when you go into freecam or pause mode. For example, I have game freeze set to X so I can pause whenever, then I press numpad 2 to go into freecam mode.

Pause mode = power "wheel" (not a wheel on PC
)? And are those key bindings set through the ini file as well?
No, completely different. This directly pauses the game engine, I assume it's a development tool.
