No, completely different. This directly pauses the game engine, I assume it's a development tool.
Do you know any place where I can research more on it? Or perhaps you are willing to share some tips? ![]()

Well, after much suffering, I've finally finished ME1. Ilos and beyond was actually quite enjoyable, though the chat with Vigil still really bugs me, and seeing Udina make that speech about how humanity is going to work with the other races to prepare against the Reapers, and kick them back to dark space, really pissed me off, because of how Bioware handled the council in ME2 onwards.
The council had acknowledged the threat, they were convinced of the Reapers existence and were going to prepare for them, then in ME2 we get the stupid "Ah yes, Reapers". I have no idea what Bioware was thinking, because it makes no sense. Actually, I know exactly what Bioware was thinking, they were thinking,
"Hmm, we want to player to join Cerberus, but the Alliance and Council have already acknowledged the Reaper threat, so it makes no sense for the player to join a terrorist grou[p."
"I know, we'll make the Alliance and Council completely backtrack on their acknowledgement, making it as if the final meeting on the Presidium never happened, retconning everything in the process."

It's because of this, Commander....

Well I've spent more time on Tuchanka lately than I ever expected. Cerberus is causing as many problems as the Reapers. First they dig up a giant bomb the Turian's had hidden on Tuchanka centuries ago in case the genophage didn't work. The Primarch's son was tasked for retrieving/disarming it and although he made some mistakes at the start of that mission, he came through in the end. Unfortunately, it cost him his life. Then Cerberus activated this giant cannon and were threatening the Krogan. Instead we managed to take the cannon back and use it against Cerberus. That part was fun. They seem to not want peace between the Turian's and the Krogan. I guess they think if we can't get Turian help then we will have to turn to them for help. Not going to happen. Ever. Next up will be distributing the genophage cure. Now that we have eliminated most of Cerberus' opposition on Tuchanka, I hope this part will go smoothly.
Before we even got to Tuchanka, things have been keeping me busy. I ran into Kasumi of all people the last time I was on the Citadel. I recruited her into helping out on the crucible project after acting on some info she provided to another Spectre. Oh and we saved the Hanar home world from being left defenseless to the Reapers. Win-win. After that I headed off to find Wrex's missing scouts and found Grunt leading the Krogan! My baby boy is all grown up. And as bloodthirsty as he has always been. Javik, in particular, really liked him. And it was good to have him and his Krogan along because the Reapers created some mutant Rachni. And while I had some doubts about killing the Rachni queen on Noveria, I had no doubt about killing the mutant breeder thing that was producing these monsters. I almost wish we had done as Joker suggested and nuked the facility from orbit. It really would have been the only way to be sure.
After that we went to Benning to stop Cerberus from executing civilians. I'm still not sure why they were doing that but they are very dead now so they won't be doing that in the future. "Official" Cerberus disavowed them and it was unlike how Cerberus people usually act. But given how closely Cerberus has been working with Reaper tech, I wonder if these particular Cerberus mooks had been indoctrinated and were now helping the Reapers instead of TIM. Idle speculation, I guess, since as I mentioned above, they are dead.
Time to get ready for heading down to Tuchanka with Mordin and Wrex to implement the genophage cure.
This afternoon, before going to meet a friend for dinner, Amy did this (and listened to this):

For those dullards among you, Zombie by the Cranberries is a rather good political song about The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
I just had to do this when I noticed that Sam was a bit bugged, and the way her eyes always follows Shepard when you walk by her
Never had that happen. I do at times get Samantha turning her head at an awkward angle when talking with her.

Nadia:
Well, after we watched the Quarians blow up the Geth, I thought it was time for a little shore leave. Hackett ordered it. Anderson gave me his apartment. So I thought I'd check out my new digs. Wow, Anderson you really know how to live it up and on an Admiral's salary on the Citadel nonetheless. Who did you work for? Cerberus? Never mind. Anyway, I met Joker at a great sushi restaurant, but who ever heard of a French sushi restaurant?
Then Maya Brooks bursts in and tells me I'm a victim of identity theft and someone is out to kill me. Then these goons burst in and start shooting up the place. So much for a peaceful dinner. It was bad enough trying to walk in heels after all that time, but falling all that distance through a glass floor and now having to fight in these things? I'm gonna kill whoever did this even more now. Fortunately Liara and Wrex showed up and I got out of the mess.
Then Liara figured out it was a merc band Cat6, and that there was a link to the casino. So we went there and I sent Brooks through the ducts. Don't ask me why I trusted her, because there was something really off about her. No one that stupid could get that high in the Alliance. Oh, wait, James did. So I ended up schmoozing the crowd a lot. Then hacked the cameras and we got into the safe room and found the disk drives. Also saw a scrambled image that threatened me.
We went back to the apartment. James ordered pizza. Then we took off for the archives. The Council knew about the reapers the entire time and did nothing! Anyway, it turned out to be my clone! And it's trying to kill me! Why? We could have worked together. But no. She wants all the glory for herself. The b*tch. And she locked me in a vault, and stole my ship. MY ship. I'm gonna kill her twice now.
But do I really talk like that? I should go? Or is it I SHOULD go. Or *I* should go. I say cooler things than that, right?
Anyway we chased her to the Normandy. I took Javik and Wrex with me, because Javik gave the right phrase. "In my cycle, we had a saying. Kill it." I've really grown to like this Prothean guy. He's a hell of a soldier, and I've taken him on every mission. Samantha let us in with her toothbrush. Then we beat the crap out of the troops, and my clone? I have a saying on my ship - "Don't f*ck with Commander Shepard." I crushed her fingers and she fell off into the wards below.
Then we went back to the apartment and now it's time for some shore leave.

I check my emails. Why so many? Traynor tells me about some Cerberus scientists that might help with building my shrink ray. I also learned she was on Horizon when the collectors attacked. That was a punch in the mouth. It took me a few moments to gather myself. I headed up to my cabin to relax.
I invited Allers up. She wanted an interview. I told her that we can't let the Mickey mouse club lower our moral after what happened on the Citadel. I told to tell her viewers to carry rat posion just in case.
I next invited James up talked about his mission he had awhile ago. He also got an invitation into the N7 program. Go for it James
Traynor sent me an email titled game night. Hmm. I should get some wine and some cool music. I wonder if she likes this. I invite her up. She kicks my a** at chess. I don't care. My mind was thinking of something else
. I suggest she take a shower. That got her attention. I think I hit a winner with that suggestion.
Now that I'm in a good mood, I have Joker head to Eden Prime to checkout this artifact.
In the shuttle, Ashley talks about losing her unit, the 212, and I mention Jenkins being killed. We find out that its not an artifact, but a real live Prothean. Now we just have to get the pod open. Not again. The bondage girls with the sniper rilfes. Fortynately we filled our ammo with rat posion. Killed the vermin rather easily.
Ashley: Commander. Why are you smiling? In fact you've been smiling the whole time
femshep: No reason.
Ashley: Wait a minute. Your blushing. You got some. You go girl.
femshep: I... ahhh.... lets talk about something else
Liara: What's going on?
Ashley: The Commander got herself some.
Liara: I don't understand? It must be a human thing.
Ashley: She's been with someone and she's whipped.
Liara: I still dont.... ohh you mean she has..
Ashley: Yep. That's exactly would I'm saying.
femshep: Will you two get your minds out of the gutter so we get the pod open
Ashley: If you say so, Commander
Capital ship #47: Mr.Harbinger sir.
Harbinger: Report
Capital ship #47: We've arrived on Tuchanka awaiting your orders.
Harbinger: Destroyer #4567 went offline. You are to take you platoon and start the harvesting of the planet. I will send reinforcements to help shortly.
Capital ship#47: As you Command Mr.Harbinger.
We fight through more of the mice and finally get the codes to open the pod. It will be a few minutes before it will open. Fine. More mice to kill. Now that they're all dead we can open the pod. It will take a few moments for the Prothean to wakeup.
Back on the ship I learn his name is Javik. He tells us about his fight against the reapers and why they failed. Alright. Another squadmate to help fight the reapers.
We head back to Tuchanka to see about a Turian ship that crashed.
Eh I'm really getting back into the swing of this playthrough. Going to try and do another Rannoch mission tomorrow.
Eh I'm really getting back into the swing of this playthrough. Going to try and do another Rannoch mission tomorrow.
Rannoch arc is just so meh when I get there.
Well the genophage has been cured. I hope future generations don't condemn me for this decision. At this point actually, I hope future generations are alive to have the option. The Salarians have made their decision and think I'm public enemy number one right now. Short-sighted fools. If they hadn't sabotaged the Shroud, Mordin might still be alive so the bad feelings are mutual. RIP Mordin my friend. You will be missed. At least Wrex and Bakara seem to understand the importance of the Krogan assuming a bigger role in the galaxy, and not by killing everyone else in it. The Krogan troops have headed to Palaven and seem to actually be working with the Turian's so hope springs eternal.
At least I got to watch Kalros take down a Reaper. That was awesome. Remind me not to ****** her off anytime soon. And it was interesting to see some of the above ground places on Tuchanka. Well, except for all the Brutes and mutant Rachni trying to kill me. But apparently that's what most of Tuchanka's native flora and fauna would have been trying to do so I guess I shouldn't take it personally. And I did get to work on my dancing skill evading Brutes and the Reaper's legs while I was trying to activate the hammers that called Kalros to the area. I'm going to put these new moves to the test the next time I'm on the Citadel. Which, unexpectedly, should be pretty soon since I just got a call from the Salarian councilor (who apparently didn't get the memo from the Dalatrass that I'm persona non grata). He thinks Udina may be up to something. I really hope not. I've never particularly liked Udina but he has never done anything against humanity's interests.
There are a couple of Cerberus facilities that need investigating as well. I haven't decided if I want to visit them first or head to the Citadel. After all the fighting on Tuchanka, it would be good to just sit back and have a drink at the bar and let life pass me by for awhile. Now if I could convince Thane to join me. Hmmm.

Went to Tuchanka to see about this Turian ship that crashed. Lots of uglies to fight. I had James and Ashley add rat posion to their ammo to see if it effects the ulies the same way it effects the Mickey Mouse club. Turns out it works, but not as well. We kill a couple of the flying uglies. You know what's cool about playing as a biotic, I can kill 5 sometimes 6 enemies at once with my reave power. I can tell James and Ashley are jealous. Haha. We find Victus Jr. They're trying to recover a bomb. That's great.
Back on Tuchanka again. It seems like I've been here a moment ago. Now the Mickey Mouse club are trying to stop me from disarming the bomb. Can't let you do that Vermin. Die Vermin, die. Big bomb. I should keep it and use to blackmail someone if I want. Now I'm sounding like my sister. Can't be doing that. Stopped the Vermin and Victus prevented the bomb from going boom.
I head back to the Citadel
I talked with Javik. It was his first time being on the Citadel. It was an honor to be with him on the Citadel to see him lose his virginity of not being on the Citadel before.
Go talk with holo-Miranda and tell her about Kai Leng.
Saved the Volus Ambassador with Zeed's help.
Talked with liara on the Presidium
Did some dancing with Jack. I rather dance with Samantha.
Had a drink with Steve. Its good to be friends with you shuttle pilot. My life is in his hands when I'm in the shuttle.
James is getting a tattoo. He wants me to get matching. No. I wil with Sam, but not with you
Saw Ashley comfort her sister.
Let's go talk with the Quarians.
Nadia:
We had some more fun on the strip. I ran into Zaeed. He was playing that kid's game and getting his ass handed to him. Then Samantha was supposed to meet me for lunch, and entered a tournament instead. This asari b*tch started trash talking her. So I started trash talking her back. Then I met Javik on the Blasto set. By this time I'd had enough shore leave for a while and it was time to get back to killing things.
I met Councilor Tevos in Udina's office, and she told me about the artifact on Thessia. Why not earlier? I asked. Every government has its secrets. She said. I hope it's not too late. I said. Then she tells me that I'm Space Jesus: the only hope this galaxy has. When we got there, the reapers had arrived. Liara was going berserk. I really can't blame her. I felt the same way about earth. I took Javik with us to the temple. We uncovered the artifact. It was a Prothean beacon, and a VI named Vendetta. Then Kai Lame showed up. I don't know why we didn't shoot the hell out of him right then, but the script had us wait and speak with The Illusive Man. Lame escaped with the VI.
Wait! What did I just say? How did an entire VI and all of the information in the Prothean beacon fit into his omni-tool? Holy f*ck! What kind of tech does Cerberus have. Perhaps Petrovsky was right, and I should have stayed with Cerberus. The Illusive Man really has some tech that's way beyond that of any of the races in the Galaxy! He smokes, drinks, and wears nice suits. This man is Satan incarnate!
We got back to the Normandy, and I spoke with the Asari Councilor, and was sympathetic to her for the Reapers taking her homeworld. I made some stupid mistakes on this one, like not blowing away Kai Lame. What the hell was wrong with me? A bullet in the head solves everything. So we went to the war room. Losing Thessia was on me. No defeats from here on. Wait! What did I just say? Shouldn't that have been "Losing on Thessia was on me?"
Time out: Who the f*ck wrote this script? Who the f*ck proof read it? There was no way that the Normandy could take on the entire Reaper fleet that was attacking Thessia. I know I'm Space Jesus and I'm going to get hung out to dry at the end to save the galaxy, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I'm having a drink and going to bed. Oh, I'll dream of Harbinger again, too.
John Shepard
Colonist/War Hero/Infiltrator
Today, Shep pulled off the Bekenstein job. Kasumi, being a master thief, assured John that she had it all planned out, and that if things went well, Shep wouldn't even have to fire his gun. "If things go well" thought Shepard "when have things EVER gone well". Still, after that little incident on Horizon, Shepard could use a high society party to get his mind off things. The party was actually quite nice, Donovan Hock sure knows how to treat his guests. Though some of them seemed a bit daft, talking about Cmdr. Shepard being back from the dead, but not noticing him standing next to them with a martini, and while many of them were heavily invested in merc companies, none of them seemed to notice the man single handily responsible for ruining much of their investments.
But, this party is not about seducing the girl and stopping the super villain, it was about getting the grey box. After brief gunfight and some snooping, Kasumi opened the vault-"Note to self, thoroughly inventory the Normandy after collectors are destroyed and before Kasumi leaves"- and the duo made their way underground. The vault itself was quite impressive. Before Shepard could finish calculating how much the Normandy could fit in her hold, they found the gray box, along with a sweet smg. Unfortunately for Hock, he thought this would be a good place to set an ambush. Poor schmuck clearly hadn't heard what happened to Warden Kuril, the last person to try to trap Shep. After blasting their way through mercs and droids, Shep and Kasumi blew Hock to kingdom come and made their way back to the Normandy. All in all, just another day for the crew of the Normandy.
