It's my little homage to South Park: The Stick of Truth. ;)

Why not? Tressfx runs perfectly fine on mine; I suspect psychoverve's new pc should not even break a sweat either.

I have my settings on ultimate. Did an ingame benchmark test and lowest FPS I got was 58 :D

Btw, she was upside down in the picture, in case people wonder why her ponytail goes up :P

Not jealous. Nope. Not this guy. Nuh-uh. Zero envious feelings. Not one. 58 FPS? psssh. I'm happy for you. Really am. Oh yeah. That's right. *grumble grumble* Lucky b*****d

Seriously though, that is awesome. Inquisition should look very nice.  :D

You really don't want to know how much I spent on it. It's part of a cycle that has been going on for quite a while now :P Once every 5 years I buy a beast of a computer, which I then never upgrade. I figure that in the long run this is cheaper than buying a halfassed PC which needs upgrading every so often.

Something I've noticed though: I've gotten so used to games not running super smooth that it kinda feels odd that the game doesn't slow down every now and then. Weird how you can get used to stuff like that

I think I'm stuck in the same cycle, but will still be a little while before I can go full-upgrade. Thinking about upgrading my nVidia card before Inquisition arrives, though.

And I know what you mean. First time I played DA:O on my current rig, My dual-wielding elf rogue is slicing and dicing her way through the Arl of Denerim's estate to save her cousin Shianni and cutting off Vaughan's head, and I thought something was wrong with it. It was never that smooth before.

CPU + motherboard: Intel Core i7 4790K 4.0 GHz + ASUS Maximus VII Ranger

Videocard: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB DDR3-1866

And of course, SSD harddisk. It takes me about 7 seconds to be in Windows from a start up :P

That's actually pretty similar to what I've got. Except I have two ssd's, one for Windows and one for games.
Might be over doing it a bit, that.

Aren't SSDs small compared to regular hard drives? In terms of space

Xenia Shepard and her playthrough to build up her kill count

While scanning the keepers she killed Chorban and 2 guards

When helping Detective Chelick, killed Jax and 2 thugs

before killing Fist, she killed the 2 workers. She doesn't like people pointing a gun at her.

kill count 9

She's now a Spectre. Like she really cares.  She recruits Wrex and Garrus and Udina told her to take Tali.

She recovered Wrex's armor

She is currently scanning for minerals and will eventually go to Feros to kill all the colonists. Tune in later to read about the massacre. Haha

I've got a 128gb for general windows and crap, a 500gb for games and an old 750gb hd for photos, downloaded mods, porn safely hidden from the other half and general stuff.

General Windows and crap, as you put it, is on a 256 GB SSD. I have a second SSD of 512 GB ;)

So if you're overdoing it, I dunno what I'm doing :D

I had 1 Tb SATA2 hard drive that failed recently with both system and documents on it - it was almost full. Considering I also have 500 Gb SATA 2 hard drive at almost full capacity SSD won't cut it for me. I got 2 Tb SATA3 hard drive as a replacement recently :)

I've also heard they don't serve as long as regular drives, is that true?

Yes, it's recommended not to defrag your SSDs because it will shorten the lifespan. But it only has to last for 5 years, in my case :P

And what the hell do you guys/gals need THAT much space for? I can understand it if your job is photography or something, but for that I'd just get a normal, external HD.

And honestly, the difference in speed is so immense (my computer has a start up time of less than 10 seconds, including typing in my password!) that it's well worth the money. Or let it put me differently: if you get a new, super fast CPU, but use a normal HD, your harddisk will be the limiting factor in how fast your PC works. You don't want that.

I agree, though in my case, if I get an SSD, my PC will be the limiting factor lol :D

Intel Core2Quad

6 Gb DDR2

GTX 660

:)

It gets filled after some time. Videos, pictures, music, books... I have 843 Gb of those! System partition has 349 Gb filled :D

But.. why download music? Youtube... movies? stream.

Making your own videos and pics I can understand though, get an external HD.

And I figured you wanted a new computer as well. I wouldn't get SSD in an old computer :P

There is always a risk of having no internet access where I live. It's fast when it works but you may end up having days without internet :) External HD is filled with backups of the documents :D Recording videos on an external HD is slow and copying everything is quite a bother :D

I'm not complaining, my PC can run most new games at highest settings without any stuttering :)
