With your armor having the best stats, why not do an insanity playthrough?

I've only played through twice and I've never been good at shooters of any type.  Next session, I might at least try Vet.  <shrug>

I died lots on my insanity run, but some of those deaths could've been avoided by not sitting there saying things like, "holy sh*t the reaper laser is following me! How cool is that??" And by realizing sooner that grenades are actually hazardous to Shep's health, heh.

But it was a complete blast to play, and I'm gonna do it again soon.

EPIC SUCCESS! :wizard:

I have: Brook's hair mod installed, and a black velvet dress replacer for the N7 nightmare.  Everything is working.

Edit: Well, mostly.  For the life of me, despite following the instructions to the letter, I can't get the dress mod to work in the Citadel DLC  <facepalm>

If anyone wants my coalesced file, either hit me up here or send me a PM.  I'll get it hosted and linked for ya.   :D

Edit #2: Well, it was just that tpf file.  I got another one for the N7 dress that's red leather and it works great.   :D

A special thanks to the person behind: http://masseffectmod...ass-effect-3-on

Finally.  I had to use ME3 Explorer because Texmod didn't work for crap to load the tpf file.

http://forums.nexusm...-the-tpf-tools/

Make sure you hit "autofix and install" on the ME Explorer if you're installing a tpf file.  Just loading the file doesn't work.

Here's the results: Shep's with Brooks' hair (no, it doesn't come automatically in blonde) and in the little black velvet N7 dress:

Xenia Shepard

On Virmire we use the Mako to shutdown the guns and runover some geth while listening to some Ozzy in the Mako

I send Kaidan with the Salarians. Fight a lot of geth and krogan soldiers. What is this?

red hologram: you are not Saren.

Xenia: Really? What made you come to that conclusion?

red hologram: You don't have any bird features. Why have you disturbed my sleep?

Xenia: I felt like it. Your the ship I saw on Eden Prime.

red hologram: Ding ding. We have a winner folks. You pathetic blood and flesh things will end because I demand it.

Xenia: Talk is cheap when the story is good. I will break you or better yet, just shut off this hologram.

red hologram: You wouldn't. I will enjoy killing you.

Xenia: Yeah, yeah. Cry me a river.

red hologram: Thiss conversation is over

Lets go set the bomb. I leave Kaidan behind. BOOM

Killed Rana

Kirrahe dead

Sorry Wrex, I need you to live. I have big plans for you. Haha.

kil count is now at 53 and a bunch of others

Xenia Shepard

Go to Therum. Run over a lot of geth while listening to some Judas Priest. Get the asari and kill a krogan and his flashlights. Back on the ship, she says the planet that the conduit is on is Ilos.

Back on thw Citadel, Udina locks the Normandy and the council won't sent the fleets to Ilos. Anderson decides he can fix that. Go for it. Now we head to Ilos. We run into a lot of geth heading for the conduit to stop Saren, On the radio we listen to some Iron Maiden. We go through the conduit and end up on the Citadel. Fight a lot of geth. I'm able to have Saren add another hole to his head. The council has to die. Haha. Now I fight Saren aka, grasshopper.

I choose Udina to be the human councilor.

10 000 dead. Excellent. Too bad more couldn't be killed.

kill count for this playthrough, 10 053 plus numerous others.

I usually go with whomever I use the most that has the earliest missions.

Today:

I watched baseball sized hail cover my backyard.  Seriously, the RL weather today was crazy.

Did most of the loyalty missions, I'm just saving Tali's for after I get Legion.

Still space truckin' to find more side quests.

I learned that Adrenaline Rush is one of my new favorite abilities.

With high res mod installed?

It crashed a godawful amount of times on my old pc

But we're talking about the same pc that played ME3 much more smoothly than ME2, so it might just be that thing's issues :P

Oh. Sorry, dunno about that, I haven't modded ME1 at all except to enable the cheat developer console.  ;)

I'm most of the way through Overlord.  I watched Shep get hacked.  So what happens after my second "geth" kill?  My game crashes to desktop.

Stupid David, tried to escape by hacking my game.   :(   :P

This is my first time playing through the DLC, by the way.

Shep found a bunch of marines stuck on a random planet defending their listening post from waves of angry Rachni, knowing the Queen to be a kind and gentle old soul he wondered what these marines could had possibly done to ****** them off so much. So he ventured north in search of answers, it turns out the silly bastards dug right into their tunnels and were taken completely by surprise by the Rachni. "I  don't blame them either..." he explained to the crew "If i'd been hiding down a hole for a thousand years trying to dodge the genocide of my people, i'd probably be spitting acid at gun toting home invaders too."

Unfortunately the Rachni suck at negotiations, so this didn't end well as far as Shepard is concerned. The marines are certain the same thing is happening to another outpost nearby, this doesn't bode well for anyone concerned. Shep isn't sure what's going on here but he'd bet his last credits on Cerberus being involved somehow. They'll pay. Nobody unleashes biotic Rachni Brood Warriors on commander Shepard and lives. Nobody.

This is my first time playing through the DLC, by the way.

I recently played it again, for the first time in a while on PC. I completely lost my Hammerhead PC driving skills and played lava hop. One of these days I'm going to fail the last part just to see the unique Critical Mission Failure. I don't know what it is about the second game but it crashes more than Mass Effect and Mass Effect 3. I've got to be careful, because my NVidia graphics card/driver is beholden to a bug which means if I release the pause at the same second I shoot, I can insta-crash the game.

So crazy, since the first game is older than the second and the most trouble I had with it was installing Bring Down the Sky (dreaded used DLC key issue) and taking a minute to figure out that the game would only start when it runs as an administrator. That was about it for fuss compared to the random crashes in Mass Effect 2 when moving the Normandy about on the galaxy map.

Modding ME2 is just about the worst experience I have had. It's akin to having rusty nails hamemred into my fingertips, only less enjoyable.

Wow, I'm glad I never tried.  Modding ME3 was enough of a pain in the ass.

Started a new play through and after much hesitation went with a Fem Shep Engineer on Insanity. It's only the 2nd time I've played Fem Shep.

I went with the standard face and hair. The plan was to make her the ultimate Renegade evil G.I.N.G.E.R in the galaxy. That was the plan, but I can never be mean to Tali. Or Liara and Wrex.

So it looks like it's going to be a Renegon or Paragade run.
