I... I dunno. I was just playing through the mission and killed a harvester. Next thing I know the game froze and I had to reboot. Upon restarting the game, it froze again on the loading screen, and I had to reboot again, thus my reaction. Second time seems to have worked, though. Victus and his platoon are saved, and all the harvesters are dead. Onward and upward.

I had something weird happen to me last night during the Baby Reaper fight in ME2: I shot off the Cain (as you do) and the first shot missed.  Sailed right over his head.  I had another shot, and I took it when he popped his head up.  Never saw it go off, but about 3 seconds after it would have hit the final cutscenes kicked in.

I use the cain on the terminator. As soon as it shows itself, I charge the weapon and fire hitting it in the chest area. BOOM

Well, I think I'm deciding that my femshep's cybertech armor is done. Spent all day thinking about adding a helmet to it, but not gonna do that as I never really wear helmets anyway. Easier to pick a visor from the armory.

Yep. See her wear  a big red nose, large clown shoes and green hair. Heck. Maybe have her ride in the conference room on her tricycle honking the horn.

Oh it does work. Heh heh heh    I love the sentry interface, use it almost exclusively on all my chars. Also use it in ME2. Together with the earpiece, kuwashii, shades(me2), and maybe sometimes the archon and maleshep can use the delumcore.

I'm trying to keep the crashes to a minimum, so I exit out of the game if I have something else to do on the computer. Just told Liara to talk to her father, and about to go shut down a big-ass bomb on Tuchanka.

Well Excella, I won't be as spiffy as your Shep up there, but I'll still show off the Fancy Flight suit once I've gotten my ass off of Mars.  I just woke up early due to yet another thunderstorm, and I'm still booting up before I go take on Eva.  This time, I'll remember not to change my pistol.

 

Yeah, I ended up changing to one of the New Game+ pistols and it was overpowered.  I couldn't take her down, since you need to shoot her multiple times.  Once isn't enough, even with an overpowered pistol.  When she's hit, and is down to one bar, you can't keep firing.  She recovers,  and it's Game Over faster than you can blink.  I think I saw that mission failure screen about 4 times before I found out was the problem was. <facepalm>

 

I was an idiot and didn't make a hard save at the Weapons Loadout, so I had to restart the mission.  I'm keeping my default pistol this time until after I shoot Eva.

Because it hates me, heh. No, ME3 seems to crash lots when I minimize it while in-game with FRAPS running... though it also happens when FRAPS isn't running too. So, easier just to save and exit out of it first.

I've noticed that ME2 and ME3 are like that.  If I tab out/minimize the game too often, it'll just crash on me.  I don't run FRAPS, and that still happens, especially in ME2 DLCs (seriously, all three of them from ME2 crashed on me once.)  I also know that both the Steam and Origin version of ME2 are known for really bad memory leaks.  ME3 on Origin isn't as bad, but still has issues.

Nothing like hearing David scream "STOP!" to really emphasize a CTD.  

 

The creepiest one was my first time playing ME2.  I had just finished Samara's mission and got her into my party.  Back on the Normandy, I quicksaved (because I'm paranoid,) and went to go talk to her.  My game crashed, but not before it showed me an image for a second.  

 

Apparently it had started to crash during the mission, but waited until after I got back on the ship.  Memory leaks finally caught up.  Anyhow, that image I mentioned? It was Morinth after her eyes had gone black, appearing to be almost smirking as my game finished crashing.
