I don't pick Flare anymore. With the Omega/Citadel mods and guns the squadmates are so OPed Flare would make the game even easier
Flare and Lash are among the few DLC stuff that I use, mostly because they are fun (and Flare has the downside of a super long cooldown, manageable though it may be). I don't use any of the weapons though (looking at you M-11 Suppressor!).

I find Lash to be the much better power. It does get a biotic combo perk along with a shorter cool down on Reave. The Vanguard can rapidly prime and detonate combos with Pull/Lash on basic mooks, and with the damage vulnerability upgrade for pull a combo is enough to kill them in one shot. With Liara's Warp w/ biotic combo Lash will also one shot Marauders/Hunters/Centurians. Even without combos Lash just sounds cool whenever it's used and can laughably fling enemies across rooms, off stages, or other creative forms of trickery.
It is a brilliant bonus power.
Lash is the detonator of choice. Why even spec warp or anything else? Singularity/Pull + Lash is amazing.

I did a NG+ CQB Infilitrator build solely taking the Suppressor, it was a fun play thru.

Scanning....more scanning....ooh, eezo! and even more scanning....
Escaped yet another blasted (blasting?) volcano, scaring the crap out of Miranda and Jacob in the process. Heh, serves them right for playing god. Anti-social Shep is starting to develop a mischievous streak.
She's also wondering if the Lazarus Project did more than just revive her. Maybe it's the new scars, but she seems a lot more persuasive in the few weeks since she woke up. Not to mention, much more "my way or the highway," at least where Zaeed is concerned. Still not much for chatting with the crew, not even Garrus who is at least a familiar face.
Found a pretty Prothean bauble that also looks strangely familiar.....
Now heading to the Citadel to meet a master thief, and see what else has changed in 2 years.

The most sensational trial to hit the migrant fleet in three hundred years took a bizarre turn today. Commander Shepard, defending her client, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, on charges of treason, today requested and received an indefinite recess in order to investigate disturbing reports that a band of dark elves have stolen The Stick Of Truth somewhere on earth.
When pressed for comment on today's strange events, mediator Shala'Raan vas Tonbay would only say, "As we all know, whoever controls The Stick controls the universe. We will wait."

I shot a geth rocket trooper's projectile out of the air with an Arc Pistol. I didn't even know that was possible.

After doing the dreadnought mission I invited Tali up to the cabin where she apologized to me. In ME2 I turned over the evidence to the Admirals during her trial and she realized it was the right thing to do.
Javik didn't approve of letting the machine on the ship. He talked about his species having to fight machines in his time
James calls Tali sparks
Went to the Citadel and told Miranda about Kai Leng
had dinner with Kaidan
talked with T'soni
shot a couple of bottles with Garrus(I won)
had drinks with Cortez
told Joker not to be with edi.Don't know why you have that option when both end up as a"couple"
talk to Tactus about getting medical supplies for Dr. Chakwas
met Zaeed and saved the Volus Ambassador
Did the Geth consensus mission with the Geth VI

You know you can change the difficulty at any time, right? You didn't need to delete your save.

To really learn the game you should consult the wiki. http://masseffect.wi...i/Mass_Effect_3
One of the main things you should investigate is the use of combos. These are not obvious, yet vastly increase your damage output. If you are going into MP then you should definitely learn about the power of combos.

Can I make a suggestion. If you want a playthrough that is both difficult and challenging try this
I did a playthrough with a level one pistol and gave my squadmates level one weapons. I put no points in any powers both for myself and the squadmates. The only points I put in was for health and shields. I did this on hardcore mode. To date that is the hardest playthrough I've ever done.

Thanks for the link. The more I play this game, The more I find I need to learn. I will read this through a couple times and figure it out. I do plan on going into MP.

Supplementary.. the themikefest special:
I think Liara will be doing more than just glaring the next time you two go out on a mission together. A few of the bullets coming your way are likely to be "friendly" fire.
