Finally wrapped up the two N7 quests after getting my game working again. Swung by the Citadel, delivered my goodies (and some bad news,) and then headed to Tuchunka. Got the bomb disabled and Cerberus driven out of there.
Now I'm about ready for the main mission, but I'm torn on who to bring. I almost always bring Garrus with me, for his sniping skills and his max overload. I usually bring James for this mission, but I'd like to bring Javik as well. From a RP standpoint, I think it would be nice to take him on a mission where the Reapers lose in a rather glorious way.

For reference: I'm a Solider class on this toon.
Thoughts?
I took James and Javik this time. I figure, you're killing a reaper, you gotta bring Javik. IIRC EDI has some good comments here too.

Javik and James? Hmm, okay I'll try it. Thanks. ![]()

Welcome. The prothean will like you for it. ![]()
Welcome. The prothean will like you for it.
Considering I normally bring him to Thessia, I suppose it's time for a shocked and happy Javik. ![]()
Coffee refill and then I'm taking Trolly the Trollthean to watch a giant killer worm crush a Reaper.
If you spec into his Lift Grenades he will be able to detonate his own biotic combos. Quite useful to deal with grouped enemies
James can do the same with Frag Grenades and Carnage, although the cooldown is quite noticeable. Also, you can just run past Brutes in the end ![]()

Javik: Commandah, you must take me to Tuchankah. It has been a long time since I witnessed the death of a reapah.
Shep: I dunno, Javik. Garrus is a pretty good shot with that Javelin.
Garrus *smug*
Javik: I have these biotic grenades, commandah. In my cycle we preferred to blow things up real good.
shep: Okay, you're in. Sorry Garrus, you can come along next time.
Garrus: Spirits... In my cycle this, in my cycle that. If I'd been on Eden Prime, I'd show Prothy here just how good we blow things up in this cycle.
James: Biotics? Psssh. Try this. *hands Javik an incendiary ammo mod*
Javik: Finally, someone in this cycle understands me. I apologize human, but now I'll have to kill you when the mission is over.
James: Ha! Heh heh. I get it. Good one.
Javik: *looks menacingly at James*
James: Uhh, he's joking... right?
Garrus and shep *Look at each other. Look back at James. Shrug*
James: You were joking, right?
Javik: If there is one thing I'm known for it's my sense of humor.
James: *ulp* Garrus? Buddy? Sure you don't want this mission?
Garrus: So long, Vega.
"What did I do today in the Mass Effect Trilogy?" Well I nearly threw my ps3 through my T.V. for starters.
I finished my Fem Shep Engineer run. Well sort of. Got to the cut scene after killing Saren and the game freezes. OK, this happens often, so no biggy. Right?
So I switch off, reload and this time the game freezes when the Normandy destroys Sovereign. So reload again, but same thing. I try an earlier save, I try different dialogue with Saren, but the same thing.
So I say screw it. Fem Shep = jinx.
So I take the disc out and throw in ME2 instead, because I want to start an Engineer run. So I pick a level 57 import and away I go.
The Normandy gets destroyed and Shepard gets spaced - and then, you guessed it, game freezes!! I swear I was this close to going ape on the damn thing.
TL;DR - I'm going back to Xbox. PS3 is too buggy for my blood pressure.
Now that my 360 is playable again, I am tempted to do a full-trilogy replay with my canon Shep, making maybe minor changes in decisions here and there.
'Not even sure if I have all 5 CDs to do it!

Depends on how old your peasetree is. On my old peasetree, one of my games kept freezing after I played it for a bit. When it starts to happen the game will eventually freeze about 30 seconds into the game. It kept doing this every time I improperly shut it down and started the game back up. It could probably be a sign of the aging of your hardware.

Well, that's what happens when you don't save David Archer. Now he's taking over the world, one ps3 at a time ![]()
Didn't have much time to play ME in these past few days so only managed to finish two missions:
Tuchanka: Bomb
N7: Cerberus Abductions

Actually it's a new ps3 (about 2 months old) and while it's only a 'slim' or 'super slim' top loader, (not sure which they're called) it's not too bad. Not as good as the old 'fat' (side loader) ones mind you, but it does the job.
The problem is the Trilogy Box Set I have, because on the ME3 disc it won't go past the Rachni mission any more, and now the ME1 disc is the same. And while I have a spare ME3 disc I don't have a spare ME1 one.
Nah, Xbox might have the 2 discs per game you have to juggle, but it beats the long load times and frame rate drop in the ps versions. Such as driving the Mako in ME1 and suddenly frame rate drops and it's like you're stuck in quicksand. Which is not good if you're tangoing with a Thresher Maw or Colossus.
And of course the freezes.
I don't have any problems with ME1 on my ps3. The only problems I encounter are in ME3. I do agree about the load times.
I tried to see if the Ash Armor Tunic mod would work with the black velvet N7 dress mod. Result? Well, apparently the textures on the velvet will override the Ash tunic one. It would make a cool idea though.

I've already got my PCConsole backup going back into place. ![]()

It does look a bit like ash, as in actual ash, black remains of whatever burned that armor ![]()

Haha, yeah. Somehow, it looks worse than the actual burnt armor (which I have unlocked for my causal gear.)
It's fixed now.
I'll stick with the ps3 master race.
Stick with whatever your comfortable with, or whatever is most cost effective for you. PC...console...who cares? We're all video game nerds. ![]()
Just started a new game plus with Xenia Shepard. Yes the same one that did the most kills in a playthrough.

Does your game need to load when that asari ***** tries to kill while you're making a cure on Noveria? Whenever my PS3 loads after the cutscene, the game glitches and you're stuck on a dialogue wheel option that you can't do anything about while enemies and squadmates try to kill each other while remaining stationary.
