Shepard stopped Cerebrus from detonating a bomb on Tuchanka but the Primarch's son lost his life in the process.  Wrex was pissed off about the bomb but the Primarch's son giving his own life to stop it from detonating helped smooth things over.  Speaking of Krogan having a lot of fun with a Krogan soldier in MP at the moment.

Had a marathon Mass Effect session and finished the first leg of the trilogy today. Started by going to Feros and saving most *ahem* of the Zhu's Hope colonists from the Thorian. Did save Shiala cause, well, let's face it -- commando leathers  . Ash didn't seem to mind too much that we had embraced eternity together so that was all right. Killed the salarian merchant with the impossibly long name, though. <_< I was hoping to sell all the loot I picked up on the mission afterwards.  Picked up Hossle's data for him, which was the most important part of the whole mission to me. j/k. Not really.

After it was all over, the council suggested we head off to Virmire and stop Saren from breeding an army of krogan soldiers, and while we were at it could we please save one of their STG teams pretty please? If they had said it that way, maybe I wouldn't hang up on them so often *shrug*. Wrex wasn't too happy about the whole destroying-a-possible-genophage-cure thing but shep stared him down and he backed off. Left Kaidan behind with the bomb. Tough choice. Not really.

When that mission was over, we went straight for Artemis Tau cause I'd kinda forgotten about Liara by then  and we still needed to know where we were going after passing through the Mu relay. Managed to keep a straight face while she hallucinated away about us even being there at all, and she joined her consciousness with shep's afterwards as a thank you. By my count that's sexy-time with three asari throughout the game -- six if you count the suggestive looks from the dancer at Chora's Den, Councilor Tevos, and that one in yellow back on Noveria. From shep's stubborn refusal to understand asari mating processes that's all it takes right?  B) Anyway, Ash didn't even blink. Sweet.

From the joining, we learned Ilos was our next destination, but the council wanted to see us first, so we had to stop back at the Citadel. Total waste of time, but at least shep got to dance with Ash at Flux, and Anderson got to punch Udina in the jaw. Then it was off to Ilos and a few hours of alone time with Ash before we got there. Killed a bunch of geth on Ilos and met Vigil. Interesting fellow who told us a lot about keepers and a bunch of other important stuff. Shep hoped Wrex was listening, cause otherwise we were kinda in trouble.

Through the conduit and a final confrontation with Saren. Zaeed would be kinda jealous of Saren, I think. Can just see a conversation between them, a la every conversation with Javik ever...

Zaeed: I got shot in the head once, you know. I survived. You ever have it so bad?

Saren *sniff*: Worse.

Zaeed: Goddam it.

Anyway, killed Saren-bot and Sovereign and *ahem* the Council   Udina wants to seize power for himself. We'll see how that works out for him, I'm sure. Now to import into ME2.

Cruella Shepard

Scanned and collected all writings, tags, insignas, minerals and discs

Went to Noveria and helped Gianna, saved the Queen, I wasn't happy about that, but my puppetmaster wants to get as many war assets as possible.

Spoke to Conrad. Nice guy. Too bad he's married

Saved all the colonists on Feros. Again I wanted to kill them all, but my puppetmaster wanted them to live.

Let Kaidan die on Virmire and saved Kirrahe. One good thing though, I killed the Rana asari. That gave me a smile

At Therum rescued an asari who later told me it was Ilos where the conduit is located

On Ilos found the conduit and used it to get on the Citadel. Watched the Saren crap add another hole in its head. It turned into a grasshopper. I pulled out my can of raid and killed it.

But the best part is letting the council die. Excellent. I'm not mad at my puppetmaster anymore. What a rush. I like to do that again

Made Udina councillor. Now I will wait for my puppetmaster to start ME2 . Till that time, I will go to Flux and get drunk and start some fights.

I've discovered that you don't need to do these collection quests to get the 100 Mineral Resources Ware Assets in ME3, I did a quick speedrun last week ago to test this. All you need is 100k of each of the four resources in ME2 BEFORE you launch the Suicide Mission. The only collection quest that has any bearing in future games is the Asari Writings.

So now, this is currently me whenever I drive past mineral nodes/anomalies in the Mako.

Really? I've collected 100 000 of each several times before the mission and still ended up with only 25 war assets. In one of those playthroughs, I went back to my ME1 character and collected all those from ME1 and mined 100 000 of each mineral in ME2 and got the 100 war assets for that Shepard

The WA itself is very bugged. I once had to import one of my Shepards three times into ME3 before I was given the 100 WA's. The reason why I knew it hadn't worked properly the first two times I tried importing, was because I had once imported that very same character into ME3 before, and had gotten the 100 WA's that time. It's really screwed up, people made many threads about it but it was ignored, just like they ignored the Ashley Marksman bug.

I'm importing on a ps3, so that might make a difference. Don't know.  The current playthrough I'm doing, I did collect all the collectibles in ME1 and do plan on mining over 100 000 of each mineral in ME2 and it should give me the 100 war assets when I import to ME3.

I just I can't I can't. This is so hard trying to complete this play through romancing someone else...I feel like im cheating and I just.... I can't.

Max Shepard might have to take a break for a bit lol

As I began this play of ME2 after importing shep from the game I finished last night, I started thinking about how I may not be doing another trilogy run of the trilogy after this... err, not until after Inquisition anyway... and well, a (mostly) paragon femshep romancing Liara is probably what I'd consider my canon shep, and I had the feeling this afternoon of wanting to put this playthrough aside and start one last 'canon' run.... so I kinda know how you feel, heh.

I know someone on PS3 who, before ME1 was released for the PS3, used the comic and was able to get the 100 WA's because they had gathered enough resources. The whole thing is just bugged. I think the whole ending fiasco prevented us from ever getting an answer about it or it ever being fixed, since Bioware were too focused on dealing with the outcry.

I kind of think the best thought out romance in the game is the Liaraxfemshep pairing. I really hated not being able to recruit her in ME2!!

No ****...the outcry wasn't really surprising, I still like to picture the happy end in my ming where my femshep rides with Liara into the sunset :D.

I did what i considered impossible beforehand, i've bought every Mass Effect 3 DLC (even shitty Genesis comic and whatnot)

Somehow it just felt right.

Now i am fueling EA's grind machine, welp.

And, in spite of that, started something like, what, 12th playthrough.

Day before yesterday, after trolling Harkin (and all other, lesser developments that followed), I headed off to Therum since it is the least interesting plot mission of the four. Back on the ship, Anne Shepard was shocked to discover that asari can mate/reproduce among their own species.

Stumbled upon Wrex's family armor before getting the story from him about it. Cool.

Solved some problems on the Citadel. Returned Nirali Bhatia's corpse to Samesh, though I do think the studies would have been worthwhile, but the Alliance's handling of that whole thing was poor and had to be corrected. Told the hanar to get an evangelical permit; wouldn't want religious zealots making scenes all over the street now would we? Also helped the Petrovskys with the issue of their son. The Anne IRL who this Shepard is based on is a nurse so it felt most appropriate to me that she vouch for the treatment, although I wanted to slap the brother-in-law for his shouting and carrying on.

Yesterday we headed to Noveria. Took Liara along, thinking to have her reason with Benezia. In the hotel I helped that asari spy on Binary Helix, seeing as Saren is a major investor in the company. Helped out Gianna, though if Quiin were smart he would have told me screw her, he'd do the same work and pay me for it, but nope. At the BH facility, Anne tried to be reasonable with Benezia, but in vain. Luckily she sealed part of her mind off from indoctrination enough to help us before going bad again (just lol). And again. "No light," she says. Another slight by the writing team against any kind of religious beliefs in afterlife. Classy.

Freed the rachni queen. Liara said release. Garrus said kill, but did not oppose my decision (Wrex or Ash do, iirc).

Trying to decide between getting the Cipher on Feros or the vision from the Virmire beacon which one I should do next and which I should save for last for best "flow" of story. I think I'll hit Asteroid x57 after releasing the Normandy from lockdown for maximum dramatic effect (race against time within race against time, ooh yeah).

Chose the Infiltrator class, but really just playing it like a soldier with a few tricks. Will go Soldier in ME2.

Meh, just tried recording with fraps.. for some reason it's only making 15 sec vids.

And by that I mean: it recorded the first 15 seconds of my play and the last 15. How f'ing weird.

You need to pay for it, that's why..

Anyway, tonight I did a bit of this for a bit of a break (heading towards PE in ME3, only 3 missions away.. God I hate that part):

Oh lol, I need to pay. How I missed this is beyond me.

Well if that's the case I'm going to look for a really good program. I don't care about the money, but if I'm going to pay it better be amazing.

Action! is quite nice if you're willing to pay for it :) I'm using it myself for my videos.

Quality is good, videos are smaller than huge AVI files Fraps makes and it has less strain on the system (though it still removes 30 FPS from ME3 on my PC). It has a bunch of options, and can be custom-tuned to your liking.
