Scott Shepard: His Life and Miracles, Part 8: Feros! (End of Season 1)

 

So, Scott arrived to Feros while in his search for a sunny, tropical world, where some welcoming butlers approached him to attend any of his necessities:

Well, Zhu's Hope in short:

 

- Water? Check.

- Food? Check.

- Geth in tunnels? Check.

- Energy? Check.

- Gavin's data? Check.

 

 

...you said it, Garrus.

 

While in the way to the geth's base, the team had some very interesting battles:

 

 

...on foot, of course. Like if anyone was expecting something else by now 

 

Then the Geth were dealt with, in a Wrex-approved fashion:

 

 

...Jeong was also dealt the Paragon-ish way, despite the game's intent of killing him in literally every other option (ahh...everything for the sake of the colony...and maxing the Paragon bar ).

 

 

Then Shiala was saved, so he can flirt with a complete stranger in ME2:

There it finishes the first part of my ME1 gameplay (sorry for not posting spoiler tags but I just didn't wanted to change format up until this post. Besides, there are only 6 pics in here). The 2nd part will feature less pics and a bit more text, as I'll only be taking pics of things I think they're funny enough (I was gonna say "interesting", but I guess people in here will also have their good 30+ playthoughts of the game )

 

Season 1: Eden Prime, Citadel, Therum, Noveria, Feros.

Season 2: UNC's and DLC's.

Season 3: Virmire, Ilos, Citadel's Final Stand.

Finished the Citadel DLC and had the Party.  A lot of people say it's just 'fan service', but I think it's great. Grunt steals the show as the doorman. "Yes I like pie and no you can't come in!" or talking to the dancing Vorcha "You again? I thought you were dead!"

 

After that went to Chronos Station to finish off Cerberus. Then headed to Earth to take on the Rippah's. Started the push up "the gut", but lost interest ....  I'll finish it later.

 

Decided I needed a new play through so started up ME1. I was checking my old saves and seemed to be missing my Adepts and Infiltrator saves. Don't know what the hell's going on with that.

 

Anyway. - Started a FemShep (hope it works this time) Infiltrator on Insanity.  

 

Landed on Eden Prime, found the beacon and then woke up back on the Normandy.

Decided to leave it there.

Quick update: Had to do a couple side missions before EDI finished her take-over preparations, and which one did I pick first? That damn one with all the respawning husks.   Talk about your bad starts. After that I picked the first of the bloodpack side missions, that leads to the one where you trudge through the fog and activate all the beacons to find your way. Was good. Got the final heavy weapon upgrade there, so I should two shots from the Cain against reaper-baby if I need it, and got to lock in the romance with Tali by talking with her a couple times between missions.

 

So... was about to do that fog one next when I finally got the message from EDI to take the shuttle to our next mission. Interesting when it was all over. When I stepped up to the galaxy map to plot the course to the Omega IV relay, EDI reminded me that Legion was still asleep down in the AI core in case I wanted to wake him up before we left. Never heard that before. The only other time I didn't take Legion on the suicide mission, I gave him to Cerberus instead. 

 

Anyway, gotta go to work now, so will do the suicide mission later.

I know you're avoiding spoilers for DAI, but I'm sure you're familiar with the Keep. I used it a short time ago to get  one of many world states for DAI.

I head to Omega with Aria T'Loak. I will call her Loser. Did you see that? She points her weapon behind her without aiming or leaving cover and fires hitting a Monkey. So I've been doing it wrong all this time. Maybe Loser got lucky. Lets get this crap over with. Run into a friend of Loser, Nyreen. Her new name is now, Nothing. With Nothing and Loser at my side, yuck, we fight the Monkees. Turns out Nothing is the leader of the Talons. Big deal. We head up to shutoff the reactor to disable all the force fields. 

 

What the **** is this crap? An Adjutant. That is one ugly piece of crap. Kill the thing. Looks like some type a monster from the sea. I will call it, The Walking Seaweed. Fight a few more of the seaweed things. I head to the reactor. To heck with it. I shut it down killing thousands. Excellent. Let the evil flow. Haha. Lets go Loser and Nothing.

 

Nothing goes on her own while Loser stays with me. As we get to afterlife, Nothing blows herself up along with a few of the Seaweed things. Loser decides to be stupid, not that she's ever been smart, and runs into a trap. Dumba**. I fight, by myself, the Seaweeds and the Monkees. Now to deal with the head cheese.

 

Loser wants to kill him. I want him for war assets. No I don't, but my puppetmaster does.

 

I get back to the ship and find a chessboard in my cabin. Hmm....Oh Traynor? Can you come up here for a moment? Hahaha

 

Back at the Citadel, I visit Dr. Bryson. He's looking for something that killed a reaper. He calls it Leviathan. He can't tell me anymore since his assistant thought it would be cool to kill him. Search the office and find a few clues.

 

I take Beeber and Bruiser to the mining facility. Of course the uglies want to fight. If I was that ugly I would want to fight someone so they can kill me. Chase this guy and learn it wasn't the guy we thought. Ok. Back to the drawing board.

 

Back on the Citadel, we find out that we need to get hold of Ann Bryson, the Doctor's daughter. Back to the ship

 

Again bring Bruiser and Beeber. Look at all those flying uglies. Get Ann on the shuttle and head back to the Citadel.

 

Ann has Levaithan possess her and we're able to track it. The planet isnothing but ocean. Damn. I forgot my bathing suit. That sucks. I had my lawn chair and sun screen with me too. Maybe next time. Cortez says we got hit by some kind of pulse. Here comes the uglies. With them dealt with, I jump in the water. I hope I can hold my breath for a long time. I swim down I find Leviathan. Apparently it was his species that created an "intelligence" to preserve life at any cost. See. This is what happens when someone has too much power. They think everything they say and do is right no matter how stupid it may be. You're in this war now. I swim back to the surface. This would've been easier if I had my bathing suit. You know how hard it is to swim while wearing armor?

 

Lets go see the Quarians. These guys crack me up. Lets go to war with the Geth while the galaxy is been invaded and then the reapers take control of the Geth now they're being wiped out. You know what puppetmaster? I say we leave then to their fate. Crap. I keep fogetting. Where here to collect war assets. Sigh.

 

With Tali, who is now named The Mask, and Bruiser at my side, we board the dreadnought and fight the Geth. Its Legion. I don't trust it. Its machine friends allied with the reapers. We need to keep an eye on it.

 

I'll head to my cabin and figure out what to do next.

Went to Thessia, had Javik in the squad as he explained her own planet's history to Liara.  Liara freaked out about Thessia.  Went back to the Citadel taunted Traynor's asari opponent in her game at the arcade went to the bar with Ashley and got into a fight with a batarian and a vorcha.  Went to the Armax Arsenal Arena and kept getting my ass kicked by the collectors.  Stupid Ashley kept dying.  Every few seconds kept hearing the same thing from the arena announcer "Williams is down".  One thing I am looking forward to about my next trilogy run is that Kaidan will be the one to survive Virmire.

Recently did Thessia.
Of course, I always bring Javik to this mission.

So ya, I made my way to the temple while being assisted by countless number of Asari allies. I didn't notice how much dialogue Javik had (and I ment not in the cutscenes). Made some Archangel shots here and there and.....everywhere.

Arrived at the temple to find the Prothean artifact. Javik reveals the truth behind Asari religions. Kai Lame arrived to screw us all with his ballet skills. MISSION FAILURE.

Sorted out the mess between Liara and Javik, then helped Liara overcome her weakness.

Decided to check my old saved files of my first Shepard (Vanguard). Now, he's equipped with a freakin' Black Widow as a "Sniper Vanguard", because **** Charge and Nova!!!

OK, OK, I'll extend it a bit

 

Basically I've made all the missions and done a full exploration of the systems and worlds of these places, including (but not limited to): X57 (where I left Balak go and saved the hostages), the hostage mission (I saved everyone from the biotic extremists), the hostage mission on that delerict ship (I saved the hostage peacefully....man, people just love being hostages! Damn Stockholm syndrome...), and finally Pinnacle Station, which went more or less like this:

 

- Survival: Run in circles and kill the few enemies you find in your way. Easy as pie.

- Capture: Run to the circles and avoid any enemy from getting into them. Eeeeasy as well.

- Hunt: Position your squad wisely, and use tons of Overkill/Marksman. A bit more difficult, but not much.

- Time Trial: I FREAK&%%&&%$%·$ HATE TIME TRIAL!!!

- Ahern's mission: Easy as pie.

 

Still, despite those hideous, hateful, HORRIBLE, I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION! Time Trial missions, I managed to win the wager and get a home, which I mainly wanted for the convoys. I've equipped my squad as much as it allowed me (total cost: more than 7 million credits  ):

 

- I got Scrams/Frictionless X for all my weapons.

- Garrus got the most benefit of it, gaining a Predator M X, Scram/Frictionless for his Kovaryov IX (all my squad has Rosenkov Materials weapons, and mainly uses assault rifles), and an omni-Savant X.

- Wrex also got Scram/Frict, and a bio-Savant X. He already got a Predator H IX, so it's all right.

- Ash got a Predator H X to substitute her crappy lvl I armor, plus Scram/Frict.

- Tali got a Colossus X armor, an omni-Savant X, and a Pulse Rifle X, which kinda suits her.

- I barely take Liara with me, but she still got a nice pack of omni/bio-Savant X.

- Kaidan got....errr....nothing. In fact, he still keeps the exact same equipment since the beginning of the game.

Reached lvl 50 already while doing the Maroon Sea missions. Equipment as follows:

 

- Me: Everything lvl X except for the Inferno Rounds of the 3 weapons other than the assault rifle (IX).

- Garrus: Everything lvl IX/X.

- Wrex: Everything lvl IX/X.

- Ashley: Everything lvl IX/X except for her armor upgrades (VIII). Hopefully I'll upgrade them soon as well (gonna do the Geth missions now, and they usually throw a lot of upgrades).

 

Have a fun grind getting to lvl 50+ for that lvl X gear
