Grunt switched to Tempest
Yeah, I was going through the screenies of that sequence afterwards, and I was like, "Wait what? Where's the damn claymore???"

Imagine, he ran out of ammo for both Claymore and the assault rifle!

Wouldn't take long, I guess. Mattocks don't have a high ammo capacity. I figure he just grabbed Mordin's gun.

Vindicator and Avenger don't suit Grunt
I love taking Grunt on missions, and when the fighting starts I just let him go do his thing, and we're busy killing bad guys, and off to one side suddenly I hear, "I.. AM... KROGAN!!!" and the chunk-chunk-chunk-chunk-chunk of the Mattock. It warms my heart.
ME2 flycam bothers me so much. It's super sensitive and it doesn't remove the HUDs. I can't really take good screenshots with it, especially during open conflicts. Also, the coalesce.ini file doesn't contain power variables. I believe they're stored within their associated .pcc file.
I beg to differ.
Lol! Well, for me, it doesn't unless there's more commands to be made. I noticed that the Quickslot Power HUD does not disappear(can be collapsed but it still doesn't remove it). Can you tell me how to remove it completely?

I'll have a look tomorrow, it's 01:15 ![]()
Tracked down Leviathan and learned the origin of the Reapers, shut down Sanctuary, and then threw a party. Tomorrow Serena is taking down Cerberus for good and then time to take on the reapers themselves.

I use these for hiding the HUD and the selection box:
I put them in Coalesced section: [SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Toggle hud on and off
Bindings=( Name="F3", Command="ShowHUD | Show Scaleform" )
Hide selectionbox (for interacting with stuff, ppl)
Bindings=( Name="NumPadEight", Command="set sfxgame.bioplayerselection selectionfarrange 0 | set sfxgame.bioplayerselection selectioncloserange 0" )
Show selectionbox
Bindings=( Name="NumPadNine", Command="set sfxgame.bioplayerselection selectionfarrange 3200 | set sfxgame.bioplayerselection selectioncloserange 1500" )

Scott Shepard: His Life and Miracles, Part 11: UNC's & DLC's! (Report #3, End of Season 2)

Done. All assignments completed. All minerals located. All trash scavenged. All scum dealt with. Finally!!
Dealt with Tali the Paragon way (gave her the data), and with Kyle the same way (cult dismantled peacefully).
That does it for Season 2. I hope to end up the game tomorrow (Virmire - Ilos - Citadel), then finally begin ME2, and NEVER, EVER TOUCH ME1 AGAIN, NEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!
Season 1: Eden Prime, Citadel, Therum, Noveria, Feros.
Been doing a ME2 marathon today in order to finish up the second leg of this trilogy run. After destroying the collector base as I've (almost) always done, the first thing shep did was wake Legion up down in the AI core. Since Jacob was dead and Tali was in love with shep and Garrus was still too busy calibrating to give a damn, there wasn't really anyone left to object.
Then we went back to Ilium and recruited Samara. Thought about giving Liara that intel we had about the Shadow Broker while I was there but decided to brush her off again, just like Therum. Wonder if she'll be hallucinating by the time I get back to Ilium? Hey, it's Ilium. I wouldn't bet against it. When we got back to the ship with our newest asari teammate, Legion was waiting to talk to shep about the heretic geth and how we could end them, one way or another, forever. Okay, fine.
After brainwashing the heretics, Samara wanted to track down her wayward daughter on Omega. Jeez, these new recruits don't waste any time at all wanting shep's attention, do they? Samara said shep was going to be the bait to lure Samara into a trap -- which reminds me, Joker is such a whiner about being used as bait. It's no big deal. Anyway, if he was going to lure anyone into anything, shep wanted some nicer looking threads than a standard-issue Cerby uniform. So... on our way to Omega we made a pit-stop on the Citadel, recruited Kasumi, and helped her with a heist on Bekenstein. Got the snazzy suit I wanted out of the deal, and let Kasumi keep the greybox. I knew she'd just switch it with a fake if I told her to destroy it anyway.
Then to Omega. Yep, I was right. Zaeed was still beating on that poor batarian, not that colonist shep has any sympathy for batarians. Should have taken that as an indicator of Zaeed's obsessive behavior, but oh well, recruited him anyway. Wonder if Cerberus will stop payment on his check since we've already completed the suicide mission they paid him a fortune to come along on? Helped him burn down a factory to distract him from asking about his money. May have forgotten to evacuate everyone first, but we agreed to just not tell anyone about that part. Zaeed was pretty pleased with getting to cook his old partner and hasn't mentioned his credits yet. I'll just tell him Jacob was in charge of all that stuff.
Tried to lull Morinth into a false sense of security back at her apartment until Samara showed up but turns out I hadn't enough renegade points to pass the final check in the conversation
. Samara had to bust in and save shep's ass before he fell under Morinth's spell. *ahem* What can, uh, what can I say? Commando leathers.
![]()
All's well in the finish. Sam is loyal, Morinth is toast. Thought Sam might take the leathers as a memento, but... nevermind. Now, finally everyone is recruited and all survivors are loyal. Time to do the bazillion side-quests I'd put off... *sigh* ... All so I could get Grunt to hold the line by himself. Ehh, who am I kidding, it was totally worth it. ![]()
So I've wrapped up all the remaining side-missions today, and only have the DLC left. Overlord (which I'm nearly done as I type this), LotSB, and Arrival. Then I'll be ready for import into ME3. Right. Back to it. Time to free David Archer.
Kat Shepard, Infiltrator, Insanity.
Picked up Liara on Therum. Took down some crime lords and killed Helena Blake. Then helped Garrus and Wrex resolve some old issues. Went and stopped the stinky Batarians from using an asteroid as a weapon.
Now I'm working through all the side missions I've picked up.
This game I want to see how high I can get Shepard's score/level. I've done a couple of level 58's before, but I'm going to see how high I can get. So that means all missions, scan every asteroid belt and take the Mako around every map to find everything. I'm back on Xbox so I have Pinnacle Station too.
Who am I kidding I usually do all that anyway. ![]()
Saving Archangel from creepy salarians, hungry batarians, flexable turians, funny humans, squishy asaris, dancing vorchas, robo-dogs, robo-cats, YMIR Mechs, Mini Mechs, things that look like Urz, and raging krogans!!!
Scott Shepard: His Life and Miracles, Part 12: Virmire, Ilos, Citadel's Final Stand! (End of Season 3)
Finished ME2 and ready to import into shep ME3.
LotSB still seems weird to play through when I'm not romancing Liara. Still just as fun, but... weird. I guess it's from avoiding all those interrupts that kept popping up during the Tela Vasir chase, and again later after we took down Big Ugly, and then the visit to the Normandy. Speaking of Vasir, once again I apparently didn't have enough renegade points when she was holding Mariana hostage at Hotel Azure. I had to shoot Mariana in the arm to end the confrontation, cuz I sure as hell wasn't going to drop my thermal clips. Think my reputation got bugged somewhere, because from time to time in the past, I've done LotSB as a paragon as soon as it's become available, and I was always able to get the blue dialogue. I'm sure the renegade bar was full, or damn close to it. *shrug* I dunno, I'm reminded of the Souvenir Gift Shop on the Citadel, and the red dialogue where shep accuses the clerk of classism and calling him poor, heh. Maybe the game is biased against renegades. Oh well, it's not like Vasir didn't still die with righteous indignation on her lips, just like every other time. ![]()
Arrival seemed fairly annoying this time around. I swapped out my Inferno grenades for flashbangs before the mission and they had no effect on the bad guys at all. I dunno why, but the bad guys didn't react to them at all. Some kinda bug I guess. So pretty much the only powers I had were adrenaline rush and concussive shot... oh and disruptor ammo. Still had the Widow though, and there is definitely no shortage of thermal clips lying around everywhere in Arrival.
Amanda Kenson is right up there with Kai Leng in my books as worst NPC in the ME 'verse. Not quite a tie but it's damn close. I wasn't sorry she blew herself up in the end. Hated her right from the moment I rescued her and she started ordering me around. I wanted to leave her back in prison by the time we climbed aboard the shuttle. And then at the end when she gorram pouts, "now I'll never get to see the reaper's arrive. You've ruined everything."
Yeesh. ![]()
Anyway... Thank the maker I'm done with it. Last time I played Arrival I wondered who was piloting our escape shuttle from the batarian prison, but the first words out of Kenson's mouth once we break atmosphere are, 'engaging autopilot,' so fair enough. Now I wonder why the batarian prison guards helmets only had two eyeholes in them?
So, gonna respec shep to an engineer when I import him. Had enough of soldiershep for awhile. This is gonna be a bit of a tough playthrough cuz I'm planning on sabotaging the genophage on Wrex on my way to a renegade control ending.
At least I won't have to shoot Mordin since he died on the collector base. I don't think I can do that, heh. Wiks, however? No problem. I like his character; he's got some interesting things to say, but he's still Biff the Understudy. Also gonna be strange because it's the second playthrough in a row where Jack died on the suicide mission. Jacob and Thane, too.
But only Kirrahe cares about them and he's just another salarian. Just kidding, major.
Just started my import game, and now I have a dilemma. Ash or Tali?
On one hand, if I go back to Ash, then I can be eeeeeeeeeeevil and choose the geth over the quarians.
On the other hand, Tali ![]()

Two votes for Ash.
Hmm...
It has been awhile since I've done an Ash romance, and I did a Talimance just recently.
But Ash was a real b*tch on Horizon. Tali's love is unconditionally starstruck.
But Tali sings during the citadel dlc. *shudder*
Ash seems genuinely happy to see shep on Earth at the beginning. She even looks annoyed at Anderson for interrupting their little eye-contact moment.
I'll be able to (sort of) see Tali's face behind her mask thanks to the mod I installed.
Hmmm...
