The Crying Game
What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy

Today, Scott Mattocked his way around Zorya (where the poor workers died due to you evil, evil forumers), completed his team with Garrus (I love Mattock Zaeed + Garrus combo, lots of damage against shields, HP and armor, plus concussive storm against barriers...apart from looking badass
), and recruited Grunt and Jack, and right now he's in the middle of some Collector love demonstration (by delivering bullets to their heads).
After that I'll go to Illium and buy the 3rd Assault Rifle upgrade, then research the Accuracy bonus, then recruit Tali for the 4th one. Tuchanka should be unlocked by when I have Tali on board, which would allow me to buy the 5th one. I'll leave Tuchanka without doing any missions and recruit Samara, which will put on the oven the 6th one (the one that Morinth ****** has).
I like to do LoTSB just after the suicide mission, so the 7th and last one would have to wait a bit.

Sure is different fighting through that refinery on Zorya while listening to everyone screaming as they burn in the background, heh.

Reading it in Grunt's voice and looking at your avatar...

I've played the Renegade part before with a Renegade Infiltrator I did some time ago, but it's still a bit odd doing it with a Paragon.
Still, it kinda served to put Scott's feet down to earth, and realize he's human after all and capable of commiting mistakes. At least that's the RP excuse I'm using right now. I kinda like the bittersweet aftertaste ![]()

Sure, after so many playthroughs it's still cool to roleplay stuff like that, and have shep do things he might not normally do.

True enough. It kinda adds to the experience ![]()
Although I doubt Scott will be commiting another mistake like that. Too bitter for his lil' heart (and mine

That's right.
I say everyone might want to try the kill all playthrough for something different.

Finished Feros (I really like that mission, especially the Thorian part) and killed ol' Jeong. Again. The colonists too. Well, they were shooting at me.
Then I did all the side missions like the Geth Incursions.
Level 50. Noveria will be next.
Crying Game 2: Really had to find a way to make this more fun, or freaky, and nobody likes Harkin

Game over, man. That is amazing. ![]()
I am gonna try one of these at some point. Dunno if there will be time for another run before Inquisition or not. If there is, I've kinda got my heart set on a personal canon playthrough, though, cuz it has been awhile.

I wonder how many folks have done a playthrough like what I did?

My guess would be 'not very many', but who knows. Having set up my last few playthroughs to have certain people die, I can say it takes a bit of effort to make it happen... I mean, sure it's not that hard, just making the right choices at the right times.... but as somebody who enjoys these games for the character interactions, and prefers for as many as possible to live, for me it takes a bit of effort, heh.

I agree. I've only did it twice. ME1 took the longest to do. There were a few times I had to reload the game to get the results I wanted.

Burn Galaxy Burn ![]()
I've done lots of uhm... destructible, or perhaps insane, playthroughs. My current running playthroughs are mostly focused on just doing stupid ****, and having fun ![]()
I also like the idea of having one of my Sheps completely failing the Suicide Mission. That poor Shepard is one that I'm never gonna import to ME3.
"Tell them, Joker. You gotta warn them. More are coming... Aaaaaaaaaaah..." -Famous last words ![]()
Too bad they didn't make this kinda failure state for ME3. Oh well, I take my crazy fun where I can.

And if we had a pilot without the bone disease, Shepard would've been pulled up into the Normandy and lived.

Today, Scott ate some Praetorian for breakfast, then went to Illium and made all the administrative crap there (talking to everyone, doing Liara's hacking, shooting Conrad in the face, etc). He also got his 3rd Assault Rifle upgrade from one of the shops there, and finally researched the Precision upgrade, which makes the Mattock even more of a marksman rifle that it already was
Once finished all his business on Illium, he went on recruiting Tali, where he had 0 problems with either the Geth or the Colossus (sniper perch path, left Garrus and disruptor Zaeed to soft down the Colossus, and I delivered the finishing clips)
Mattock
(+ 4/7 Assault Rifle upgrade, too!).
But then I've got yet another dilemma...after the mission, Tuchanka wasn't unlocked (as I was expecting), but Jack's loyalty instead. And right now I don't know if Tuchanka is unlocked only after doing some non-DLC (or DLC) loyalty mission, or if I can go recruiting Samara, as I had planned (for the assault rifle upgrade that Morinth b**** has), and hope that Tuchanka is unlocked by then. Suggestions?

Had this exchange on the shuttle to Sur'Kesh for the first time ever.
Text can't capture the tone of voice in the whole exchange, which is a bummer, but shades of Virmire for sure.
Loved how Garrus had shep's back though. Interestingly enough, Liara had nothing at all to say, not like she does if Wrex and shep are buddy-buddy. Maybe it's an asari thing in ME3 ![]()
