Today I led the Geth wipe out the Quarians and Tali dropped herself off a cliff. I did try to safe her. Later I will choose the red ending so the Geth will die as well - I guess Rannoch will then be open for human colonization...

Makes me feel like a master schemer: the Illusive Man wouldn't have done it better, heheheh!

Did a little Friendship A & B score testing today

I always used spacebar to skip faster, and picked all the left side options first.

Tried combining different choices, para/ren, interrupts, but so far mixing didn't alter anything.

Spoiler

So... if talking to everyone everywhere Liara clearly gets the highest scores? Meaning I have to skip certain dialogues to get other squadmate to put Shepard's name on the wall

All the squadmates can get lots of points. I don't have any max values for any one character, but since Liara tends to get thrown into the players face a lot, I would suggest trying to ignore her.

Did taking squadmates on missions add to those numbers?

Well, they do talk on the shuttle and that gives them points. But I checked the Chapter Save file, which is used for Restart Mission and that save has not any points added, probably cause it is always saved at the start before any conversation take place. Liara and James both got points added after landing on Sur'Kesh when I checked the normal Autosave file.

All those developers reading these comments and laughing "they'll never figure it out, he he he" :D

I'm now tempted to do a no-Liara run to see if another squadmate places the name on the wall :|

I played a match in the Armax Arena with James and Miranda against standard Reaper enemies, but without shooting myself: just to see how my squadmates would fare. Well, they got the time bonus and the maximum kill streak. Let's see how they do against elites :D

In today's addentum, Scott ruined the day for Cerberus on Benning, then on that Tuchanka's planetary cannon, and then on the Citadel. Man...do you think they'll hold any grudge for all of that? :D

Ah, and he also cured the genophage. While in the middle of his teatime, you know.

After that, he proceeded to spend all of his credits on weapon mods (less than 2k credits after purchasing everything...pff, that was close). I think that the game also reallocated all the mods that I picked up but not appeared as picked up in the Spectre Requisitions market, cos it was suddenly full of them (8 mods or so). Anyway, I bought everything, and I hope to have most of the mods by lvl V before ending this playthought (fortunately the bug seems pretty soft this particular time...apart from the Sur'Kesh disaster, I haven't had any more major run-ins into it).

He also helped Jacob and Samara in their respective missions. And next up it'll be some more Citadel business (sigh), and on to Omega and Leviathan DLC's, then the Geth-Quarian arc.

@Gladitorium: in the past few posts you have mentioned a mod glitch where it will not allow you to pick up mods? What is this glitch exactly? This is the first time I have heard of such a glitch.

I got that, but only on Mars. If you have SMG, shotgun or a sniper rifle equipped during that mission, the mods you pick for those weapons don't get added to Shepard. They don't appear later either, you'll get stuck with SMG Scope IV for the entire game. It can be fixed by not equipping those weapons on Mars. I didn't get that bug anywhere else though which seems not to be the case for Gladitorium

I played a few more missions with me Engineer-Infiltrator yesterday and today.

Saved a Turian Platoon, only to watch them all die on the next mission trying to disarm a giant bomb.

Got to watch Thessia burn. That was something.

Went to Eden Prime to collect a Prothean Artificact. Turns out it was an actual Prothean After speaking with the sourpuss, I wish I had a Prothean artifact instead. Wish The Alliance did not confiscate my Prothean Sphere. I liked that Sphere.

Traveled to Sanctuary, killed Cerberus and some Reaper forces. Did not find Kai Leng, but now know where he went. Soon....

Also decided to check my voice mail. I had a lot of messages:

1. Shepard, this is Aria. Where are you? I thought you would be here by now. Call me back.

2. Shepard, this is Aria. We're waiting. Hurry up.

3. Shepard, Aria. Get your ass over here.

4. Where the **** are you Shepard? I have been waiting out here for four days now and the Vorcha are starting to stink! Let's go already!

5. I swear if you do not get over here in 24 hours, I am going hunt you down and pull your spine out through your ass! I know you're alive because I have been watching the news. Get over here now!

6. I swear to The Goddess Shepard that if you lied to me, I will track you down and kill all your crew one-by-one in front of you before spacing you out the airlock. It's been over a week and you have not returned my calls.

7. Shepard, this is Aria. Heard you brokered peace between the Geth and Quarians. I.... apologize.... for being so rude the past few weeks. I did not realize you had other important business to attend to. Now report to my fleet so we can retake Omega.

8. Shepard you ****ing ************!!i!! You beat my score in the combat simulator! You're dead! You hear me? Dead!

It's the romances that have me laughing in Saints Row 4.

Didn't enjoy it as much as The Third though. The superpowers were fun but killed every other aspect of travelling and combat.

"Hey Kinsie, wanna ****?"

"Sure"

WHAM!

I found out it's even more amusing if you play as a french woman. The unique dialogue could teach Bioware a thing or two.

I never knew that the different boss voices had unique dialogue. Going to have to try that the next time I play SR.

Once I get tired of playing DAI, I will pick up Saints row 4 to finish the game. Don't know why I didn't.

Today, Scott Shepard (in full 1st person view), Ashley and Mordin took off hundreds of Collector Troopers that were invading a typical paradise tropical island. Scott personally headshooted to death a Collector General with his Mattock. The trio fought his way to the bottom of a little mountain, then were starting going up when the Collectors retreated. Scott said a last "Sayonara, baby!" to the last one before putting a Mattock round in his head (the last round he had left before the weapon overheated).

Then, when all was pacified, Scott gave a big friendly bear-hug to both Ash and Mordin from behind. Mordin was scared by it and pushed it off. Ash too...but only because Scott was also touching something he wasn't supposed to touch in the process :D Shortly after, a jeep passed by, going downhill and playing this song (which Scott totally approved...well, it was more like an HD version of the old song than that one, but MI fans get it :) ). Then just before the trio could continue uphill, I woke up.

Because sometimes dreams are that awesome.

P.D: I think I'm gonna use the Mattock instead of the Harrier on my next mission :D

Finished my game tonight. What a strange trilogy run this was. ME3 in particular was very different this time around -- Choosing the geth over the quarians, sabotaging the genophage with Wrex as leader instead of Wreav. I'm glad I opted for Mordin to die on the suicide mission, cuz dayum, Tuchanka was tough enough. I've played it out so many times with Wrex as leader where shep was his brother/sister, a hero to the krogan people, and to see it all unfold as the total opposite of that? Wow... just wow. That confrontation with him on the Citadel just before Thessia was amazing -- uhh, not necessarily good, but well done.

Rannoch was another wow scene. When I was playing through ME2, I had planned to romance Tali right through to the end, and having a laugh at the interactions between her and Ash. But I changed my mind when it came time to start up ME3, and I realized Ash looked kinda hot, there at Alliance HQ, just before the reapers hit, and I thought, what the hell I'll play this one out as a reconciliation between shep and Ash instead. Since I was already planning on the genophage sabotage, I figured I may as well commit two genocides for the price of one, and end the quarians too, since I'd never done that before.

But it was tough to turn my back on Tali like that, cuz I really do like her character a lot, and that moment when Legion was uploading the reaper code to the geth, and I was tempted to change my mind again and try for peace, and instead shep turned to Tali and all he said was, "I'm sorry." ... and then the scene cuts to a massive geth armada annihilating the migrant fleet, and then back to Rannoch, with Tali sobbing while her people die. And then, everyone's reaction to it afterwards. Jesus. Those were a couple tough parts to get through, I gotta say. And I only say that cuz I played it out as a hero so many times, that the contrast was pretty freakin' stark.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot. I also exterminated the rachni. "Leave then. We embrace the silence."

Renegade control was kinda cool, though. I'd always done my control endings as a paragon before, so I'm glad I got to see it. There's only one rule in the new galaxy: Don't f*ck with shepalyst, heh.

And Javik gets to be king of the hanar, so... well... it wasn't all bad.  :D

I'm gonna try and set the ME 'verse aside now for a little bit, and pick up the game of DA2 I'd started a while back to prepare for Inquisition's arrival. IIRC, my femhawke rogue and her sister Bethany (and their new BFF Aveline) have spent their first year in Kirkwall working for some smugglers, and are now partnering up with a beardless -- but very hairy-chested -- dwarf, raising some capital for a joint-venture into the deep roads.

I do it all the time. No big deal.

I'm curious about those numbers too. I would be curious to know the numbers for Samantha since she was the one holding the nameplate when I romanced Miranda and the couple times I didn't romance anyone.

Spent an hour watching Vanguard videos on Youtube and lawd, it's amazing how people easily manage to accomplish the seemingly impossible feat of making the Vanguard look boring. Charge+Nova+melee, a little gun usage here and there, and repeat. That's what it pretty much boils down too, elemental and biotic combos are completely ignored, i even saw people directly charging a Guardian with his shield up instead of using pull first. I mean seriously now, what the f**?

When I stop being lazy and actually import my Vanguard into ME3, I'm going to record and upload some footage showing how to play Vanguard like a pro.

Today, Scott Shepard ruled Omega the Paragon way. Well, with a Renetwist at the end: he headshooted Petrowsky (I never liked the man, don't trust him a bit, and the assets are the same by just cracking into his files, so...).

He also nearly reached Leviathan (only Desponia remains), and finally reached lvl 60 (Omega already levelled him up from 53 to 59). I admit I had to use a single Medi-Gel while on Omega, in the same part where I also used one with my Vanguard no-gel playthought: the bomb defusal' one (you've to admit it's a bit tricky), but I still beat my record of gels used before reaching lvl 60 :D

Now I've also bought all the Medi-Gel upgrades from the Sirta shop, and I'm free to use them at will. Huzzah!

And this is why I like to avoid either Charge or Nova when I Vanguard.

I did upload a ME3 Vanguard when I first started playing the game, but I did not use Nova because I did not know about the Immunity frames at the time. I used Charge, Pull, and Shockwave and little bit of Stasis, since that was how I played her in ME2.

No fire combos though, since it was before the patch that allowed fire combos without killing the enemy first.
