I can't believe this. I just finished the Thanix missiles on Priority: Earth (currently uploading). During the section where reaper troops are coming in from the left side and you get two Banshees, one of the Banshees went around me, past me, and right for Liara who was positioned to the rear of Kaidan and Shepard. I was like, "Wut?" I had to run back and save her (I was too late). Geez, I swear that girl must give off pure-blood pheromones for them to home in on.

Just did the Indentured Service side quest on Illium and dear lord, does Shepard come off as self righteous and disingenuous. Shepard deal with it ffs, the Quarian was reckless in the stock market and was going to get put behind bars, Indentured Servitude is the best outcome she could have hoped for.

Today Scott found Leviathan and used his charms to convince an apex race of pro-slavers to fight for him, because..hey, why not join this human? Then went to the Perseus Veil to check up what all the fuss was about. Also destroyed a Geth Dreadnought, you know, while in his teatime. Again.

 

The next mission is a delicate one tho....admiral Koris' rescue. Not because I give a crap about him, his quarians or the Civilian Fleet, but because of the sheer number of important weapon upgrades it has (plus the Javelin) that I definitely DON'T wanna miss.

 

Speaking of which, I'm welcome to tips about how to beat Aria's score at Shattered Eezo. I REALLY want the AR Thermal Scope V (vital for my next Saber playthought).

I'll probably buy and play it after my current ME3 playthoughts, at least Scott' ones (don't know if I'll do the AF-Novaguard one or not....but I'll probably leave it for when I need a rest from DA:I).

Question: is Biotic Protector worth it? I haven't seen it being used in all the Omega videos I've found on YouTube

I do not think I have managed to beat anyone's score at Shattered Eezo. If I am not playing against Jacob, I suck.

 

Not sure the rank V of that mod is worth it though. It is what, an extra 5% accuracy bonus? AR Thermal Scope IV should be just fine.

If your next Saber playthrough is on NG+, then you can pick up the rank V mod on the Citadel DLC again.

That's Nyreen's biotic bubble right? Not worth it.

 

I once gave her the Typhoon, specced her for weapon damage and specced Biotic Protector for weapon damage and then her do her thing. I did not notice a difference.

 

(But then again, I was always trying to order her to attack a specific target; I have mixed results when I try that. It seems to me that if you order squadmates to attack a specific target, they stop shooting for a bit before attacking the target you specified. So I tend to get annoyed that they are not shooting and order them again.)

 

Speccing it for power damage is pointless because it puts her on cooldown and she cannot use any powers and the bonus essentially ends before her cooldown does.

 

I wish Biotic Protector was a bonus power for Shepard.

Why? What does it do? I have never specced her into it since I first looked at it. Is it like the Justicar's bubble? That is a fairly nice power.

The trick is to defend most of the time. Only attack when the opponent starts charging up a punch. This will prevent you from taking damage.

 

It's a turtle approach but I think it's the only way to get a high enough score to unlock the mod.

Ha! I've got a world state titled 'kill all playthrough'. I won't use that one till my third or fourth playthrough. The first couple of playthroughs are for getting all the dialogue and scenes with companions.

Kat Shepard, Infiltrator.

 

Played three of my favourite missions, Grunts rite of passage, then headed off to the Disabled Collector Ship for some more fun.

And then headed to Ilium to do the Lair of the Shadow Broker.  (I cheesed it by taking Slam as my BP before the SB mission. Watching those mercs getting taken by the storm is too much fun.)

 

And I gotta' say I love Cryo Ammo in ME2. Shattering enemies never gets old.

I know there's little difference, but I still like to have the best equipment And Citadel DLC always comes way too late in my playthoughts in order to leave it to the NG+...

 

I won't turn crazy about it, but I still accept tips about how to beat it.

In a dilemma of what platform should I get Inquisition on. May not get it until 2 weeks from now, but I don't know if I should get it for PC, PS3, or PS4. I would like it for PC, but my PC is not the best for like very new games. I can probably play this game at like medium to low settings provided the game is optimized very well for PC.

You just know you'll want to have it on PC when the mods start appearing  ... er, if they do.

Unlike Mass Effect, DA is traditionally more suited for mods, so probably there'll be a bunch of them, just like there are for DA:O and DA2.

I don't expect mods to fall in until like a year or a bit less than a year from the release date of DA:I.  Did BioWare ever give out modding tools for Dragon Age?
