I doubt I'll try it in this playthought. I'll wait until having lvl X equipment before engaging in that.
The actual Armax Arena games will be more of completing the "questline" and gaining enough credits in order to get all the remaining Citadel upgrades (the Claw game eats credits like crazy...), plus buying and upgrading the Black Widow.

Personal taste, I guess. Not gonna take anything away from the effort people put into making those vids, but watching someone make their own dialogue choices ain't the same as making your own dialogue choices. Gotta say I'm not minding the gameplay at all this time around... maybe because magehawke kicks some serious ass, heh.
Looks like my copy of Inquisition will be arriving sooner than I expected -- like, by tomorrow 
-- and I dunno whether to finish this DA2 playthrough first or not. Even before I checked DA:I's shipping status on amazon today, my urge to keep going in DA2 was ... fading. Act 2 starts full of promise; the deep roads expedition was a success, and everything turned out about as well as I could have hoped. Even got rid of Carver for a bit, heh. Then I checked the stack of letters Bodahn left on my writing desk and was going through all the quests coming up, and it was just... ehhh. 
But I've decided to push through for a little while longer, and now I'm glad I did. Just finished the "Night Terrors" quest...
So I'm gonna press on with DA2 for a little while longer. I actually do like Act 2, it's got some good moments, like with the Arishok and Hawke's mom. Oh wait... that didn't sound right. They're separate quests, totally unrelated
We'll see. Depends on just how shiny that copy of DA:I looks tomorrow, sitting here on my desk, waiting to be installed. Now that I'm kinda familiar with the events of DA2 again, I've got a world state all ready to go, to set up DA:I the way I want; based on this playthrough of DA2 -- even though it's not finished

Today Scott Shepard has beaten the Shattered Eezo score...yaaaaay! And it only took him 3 tries! (new score: 1486).
Turns out that the trick for beating it is pretty simple: use uppercuts only if the CPU is defending (althought not that it's required...you can also defend too, until he decides to attack again), and endlessly attack with jabs the rest of the time. Maybe defend a bit if it's throwing too many jabs, but it's not that difficult to master (as ooposed to what the wiki says ). Anyway, he got the AR Thermal Scope IV. Only the one at Armax Arsenal Arena remains (easy!).
He also won every prize at the Claw game (including all songs and the plush ), bought the Black Widow, and hanged out with most of his squad. Next it'll be buying an Arena license for Wrex before he gets angry, and completing all the quests there for the last weapon mods 
(plus credits for upgrading the Widow, BW and the Lancer...cos I only have 230 credits right now D: ).
And right now I face the Erotic Man.

I wasn't even on nightmare mode. I will say this. I believe these dragons are tougher than the ones fought in DAO.

I did something similar. But after some 15 min of fighting I couldn't be bothered anymore. My dps was really awfully low, and getting rekt by fire was fun for a while 
Addentum: Got all Bronze/Silver/Gold prizes/modifiers, did all the AA missions, upgraded the Lancer (which I'm using right now....didn't remember how awesomely great it was ), and upgraded both the Widow and the BW to V. Yeah, I think I'm done here until NG+...
Next up I'll finish the DLC and up into the fray again...but I must admit it was a very productive shore leave
Finally made it to skyhold. Back to playing DAI.
Ad-addentum: Boros (my TGI) finally got another Gold mission vs Geth on Tuchanka. Got coupled with a Batarian who also had a Saber X, so I decided to change weapons and teach him how things are done. Doubled his score (75k / 150k), with 20 Headshots golden medal.
Also, saw some DA:I videos (from multiplayer, too), and oddly, I'm still not getting hooked to it like it usually happens to me with other games when I do the same thing, so I'll probably go directly for the NG+ and then DA:I, and not the opposite (as I had planned).
Played some more with my Engineer-Infiltrator. Had a memorial for Thane, then completed the N7 missions.
All that's left is one big party and then the end game.

I don't know if I'll finish this run, I'm thinking about getting an Xbox One. I've been watching friends play Halo The Master Chief Collection I'm definitely considering getting it.
Maybe that's what I need to break my addiction to ME. Ironically though I see they're releasing ME1 on the Xbox One soon.

I specced mine into Cryo Ammo, and used low rate-of-fire guns to freeze unprotected enemies on every shot (Viper, Scorpion, Saber; Saber is a beast).
My current spec:
Cryo Ammo: Squad Bonus - Headshots - Damage Combo
Incinerate: Damage - Burning Damage - Freeze Combo
Sabotage: Backfire - Explosive Hack - Tech Vulnerability
Operative Mastery: Damage - Weight Capacity - Power Damage
Energy Drain: Damage - Drain - Damage
I am thinking of changing Incinerate rank 4 to Radius for the end game, since I sometimes hit the unfrozen enemy if they are bunched up.
My issue with Disruptor Ammo is that it can overwrite other priming powers, leaving you with an unwanted Tech Burst when you really wanted a Fire Explosion.
If you decide to use Tactical Cloak with the build:
1. Spec for Bonus Power since you can use two powers under cloak for its +90% damage
2. You no longer have to spec Energy Drain for max shield damage to strip shields off elite enemies, since you can gain +90% damage from cloak, letting you use Radius or Armor Boost or both.

Am enjoying it much more than SR3.
I think I prefer to play ME3 and some of my games in this resolution. I like the wideness of it although the HUD size and subs do not adjust to this resolution setting.
My Soldier-Shepard just finished ME3 (I tried all three endings). And I was a little baffled about all three endings. I do not want to complain but I think that it leaves more open than it explaines. But I'll definitely go for a second round (I have still some characters from ME 1 and 2 left).
