Well last night, Sarcastic Darya Hawke found Fenris. Brooding, dark, I want to smack him, but he's too good in combat Fenris. And we're well on our way to a full on rivalry. I think I'll keep him in the party. It's better than having Aveline around having a silent hissy fit every time I take a job to help someone for some coin. "Look Aveline, you're City Guard. You get paid for that crap. I don't. If I did this kind of sh*t for free every poor sap in the city would be lining up asking me to help with their troubles, wouldn't they? Use your head, woman! So cash up front. Another fine day for Capitalism! At least Varric understands.

And those bloody Qunari have arrived. Communists all of them. Well, off to the Deep Roads. Time to make some real money, and hopefully find some better weapons.

Aveline really can be a fly in the ... lotion? sometimes, can't she? I should've known about her when Varric didn't give her a nickname.

My DA2 run is on indefinite hold because Inquisition looked too damn shiny, sitting there on my desk, and I just had to install it. Got as far as the character creator and I'm lost in it now. Too many options, too much variety... and that's not a complaint, heh.

I encountered my femHawke. I was able to customize her to look similiar to my femquisitor. The voices of Jo Wyatt(femHawke) and Alix Wilton Regan(1 of 2 voices for femquisitor) sound very similiar.

We know the player can choose to play chess with Traynor if they want, but since AWR voices her, I had her voice my femquisitor and a short time ago she sat down and played chess with Cullen.

Now that I leveled up my femquisitor and companions, its time to fight that dragon at Redcliffe again.

DA:I is sitting looking at me with a blank stare: "Y U No put me in disk drive?"

"Because i want to play DA2 DLC and I don't know what happens in them. Also want to refresh my memory."

But DA2 really looks dated, although the character models look good. And the story is good. I just know I'll get lost in DA:I. The banter between Anders and Fenris is just hilarious. Or like Hawke is going to side with Fenris against Bethany. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Aveline was there for people who play male Hawkes or have Carver. If you're playing a rogue and have Bethany, you'll get a neutral Aveline or at worst a rivalry. And I know that the Isabel vs. Arishok decision is going to come up. Well Darya Hawke is a rogue and there is this "honor among thieves thing," so seriously she's not going to turn over Isabel.

Well, my mage inquisitor has had a ton of fun romancing Sera. I'm really loving their relationship so far. And doing it with AWR's voice is perfect

At the very start of the game

Spoiler
I was really hoping my AWR-voiced Inquisitor would pick up a toothbrush first, look at it, shake her head, drop it and then pick up the weapon, heh. That would have been epic.  :D

I could never stand to take Anders along on any quests I didn't have to, but I'm kinda wishing I did. Fenris too. Well, I may have to get back into the game again soon. We'll see.

Woot! I gotta vent a little.

Took down my first dragon in DAI today

Nerves going crazy. Couldn't believe it when that thing finally went down. Is it really over? Felt like I was fighting that thing for hours even though it was probably ~10 mins. Got some nice gear for my Sera too.

And now I wish Mass Effect had badass mobs like that. Hint hint Bioware  :P

Grunt would've loved that fight: "Lets find something big to kill."

Switched off the Origin client in Mass Effect 1 so the game would stop stuttering on my Readeon 6870. Why isn't there a sticky about that somewhere?

Hey. Not to be a killjoy but can we not talk about DAI here. I'm sure there are DAI specific threads that I will start adding into once I finish my first play through as spoiler free as I can make it. Thanks in advance.

*Not saying anything particularly spoilerish has been mentioned so far but people are starting to get further along and I don't want to have to ignore this thread until I finish it.

Apologies. I can totally sympathize. I felt, and feel the same. :) Now just hurry and start playing ;)

Today Scott Shepard threw a party in his house, then destroyed Cerberus, killed a thousand Reapers on Earth and shared his DNA with the freakin' rest of the galaxy because, well...he was already tired of shore leave :P

So, now it's up to NG+ (which I won't post anything about it unless I find something remarkable), and to enjoy the Saber (damn pity I'm stuck with VII until Horizon...and Lancer VII until Citadel DLC...damn you Bioware). At least I have the Harrier X, and James is already bouncing like crazy at the sight of his beloved Typhoon X :D

So, here's the end of Scott's adventures. Thank you for following! :D

I specced mine into Cryo Ammo, and used low rate-of-fire guns to freeze unprotected enemies on every shot (Viper, Scorpion, Saber; Saber is a beast).

My current spec:

Cryo Ammo: Squad Bonus - Headshots - Damage Combo

Incinerate: Damage - Burning Damage - Freeze Combo

Sabotage: Backfire - Explosive Hack - Tech Vulnerability

Operative Mastery: Damage - Weight Capacity - Power Damage

Energy Drain: Damage - Drain - Damage

I am thinking of changing Incinerate rank 4 to Radius for the end game, since I sometimes hit the unfrozen enemy if they are bunched up.

My issue with Disruptor Ammo is that it can overwrite other priming powers, leaving you with an unwanted Tech Burst when you really wanted a Fire Explosion.

If you decide to use Tactical Cloak with the build:

1. Spec for Bonus Power since you can use two powers under cloak for its +90% damage

2. You no longer have to spec Energy Drain for max shield damage to strip shields off elite enemies, since you can gain +90% damage from cloak, letting you use Radius or Armor Boost or both.

I was going to do a shotgun type of Infiltrator, but I do that all the time in MP. So I'm going to do an "old" type of Infiltrator (sniper) with the Mantis until I get the Widow this run.  I'm not a fan of the Viper in ME3.

I've specced into Cryo for now, but thought Disruptor would help me with shield gate.  Your build looks a lot like my usual, but for now I've got Inferno Grenades (just 1 point invested so far) as my BP, but when I get some more points to spare I'll retrain and take Energy Drain.

Thanks for the good advice as always, Red. I appreciate it.

As long as you have enough power damage from armor and/or Pistol/SMG Power Amplifier mod, you should be able to fully strip shields from elite enemies without needing to worry about shield gate.

For Tali to fully strip shields from elite enemies (such as Cerberus Centurians), she needs Energy Drain specced for max damage (Damage at ranks 4 and 6) + 30% Tech Damage from her passive at rank 5, + 25% Power Damage from her Power Damage armor, + pistol Power Amplifier Mod I or II.

Infiltrator can get +35% from Operative Mastery (ranks 4 and 6) and +50% from armor by the end of game (on NG+, only +40% on Geth Dreadnaught and N7:Fuel Reactor missions because breather helmet is required, and 0 on Mars because you cannot change your armor beforehand which sucks). You can also get up to +25% power damage from Intel and up to another +30% from Pistol/SMG Power Amplifier mod.

So i threw a big party and just about everybody got drunk. And after Garrus and Zaeed booby-trapped my apartment, I am deathly afraid to to touch anything... or secretly hope that another clone (or two or three) stop by and have a look around.

Then I punched Cerberus in the balls by destroying their headquarters and got to stab Kai Leng.

Also, "That was for Thane, you son of a ******." carries a lot more weight when FemShep romanced Thane.

Darya Shepard decided to have a dalliance as Darya Shepard Hawke again, and met the viscount of Kirkwall who was a hand wringer. And we met the chantry sister who had us escort the Qunari mage out, killed the Qunari, and watched the mage set himself on fire. Then took off for the Deep Roads. Finally had the full set of Last Descent Armor! and Red Lyrium! Bethany died - NO! I've never taken her on this. I thought because I took her no templars, but no, the darkspawn got her. Ack! Bloody templars! I really like how the Qunari stay around "waiting for their ship" and want a book, but don't tell you what they want. You need to be a bloody Asari and do a mind meld. So now I'm rich and dealing with the Qunari problem, but first off to Legends with Isabela, Aveline, and Anders!

Finally upgraded to Harrier X in my NG+....there'll be a lot more dead Reapers now :D (and Cerberus...but not Geth cos I prefer the Saber vs them).

Also got the Prejek +10 Weapon Damage, some extra +10% from the Intel Terminal (one +5% remains), and changed my armor to do +50% WD. Basically Shep is now unstoppable :D

My Engineer-Infiltrator:

Landed on Earth, destroyed a Hades Cannon.

Gave a sub-par speech (by Shepard's standards).

Shot her way through London to Missile Battery, then fired it at a Reaper Destroyer.

Watched the Reaper get destroyed (totally stealing credit for that one too. That makes four Reapers for "Shepard").

Got shot by Harbinger.

Flew to the Citadel through a beam of light. (Not sure how to write that in the ol' memoir and still have it classified as Non-fiction.)

Listened to Mr. Illusive prattle on about... something.

Convinced Saren -- I mean The Illusive Man -- to shoot himself in the head.

Talked to some glowing thing.

Blew up a conduit for some reason that killed all the Reapers. I think.

Writing a backstory for my new trilogy run. Need some help with the following question: codex says that 50 marines died on Akuze. With Shepard as the only survivor (codex assumes Toombs is dead) it ends up at 51. What is the corresponding unit name and officer of what rank usually leads it? My guess is that it's a platoon led by a Staff Lieutenant, is it correct?
Alliance ranking system for reference:
