My first attempt at negotiating while playing as femshep. (An excuse to test my PVR)

Getting ready to finish ME2 once and for all (again, I highly doubt I'll ever play it again...I wouldn't even have done this last playthought if not for getting Kelly's bonus)...only half the galaxy left to explore + Arrival. All stuff already bought, all upgrades (minus Arrival's) adquired, etc.

 

I just thought that I've always missed the Talon as the weapon of choice in ME3's Vanguards, when it's in fact a perfect one (as Vanguards were the first class I played with, my knowledge of ME3 weapons was a little crude)...shotgun-like damage plus the bonus from the Power Magnifier. So I'll surely do a Talon Novaguard next (with the Hurricane as a substitute until I get it).

I decided to continue a bit on my Insanity playthrough and test my bioic sniper on the Geth. I painfully went through all the mournings over Ashley and now I'm on the Geth Dreadnought.

Those kind of retarded zealots only make me reaffirm and more proud that I don't believe in anything. Hope that situation gets solved soon and that the police acting there gets everyone safe (including themselves...I admire the police from all over the world. One of the few things that aren't crap. Unless they're corrupted, of course).

They just have been engulfed into their own bubble of what they consider themselves that "reality" is. And while yours (and mine) is harmless (well, mostly...watching cat videos is punishable by death in some countries especially kittens...those devils!), theirs are more like: "kill XXX unbelievers and you'll go to Heaven".

 

I've always believed that statement is their own god's trial (or trap, depending of your point of view) in itself: are you a brainless idiot who acts out of self-interest, even it that means harming or killing others? then you fail the test. Anyway, their problem, not mine. I'll stick with my harmless bubble, my clean conscience and worrying about how damn I'll get the M-358 Talon X as soon as possible, thanks

Okay, case semi-closed, for anyone else in this forum that still wants to discuss this issue.

I guess I'll stick with my simultaneous playthroughs of...

1) Finishing my Infiltrator-Playthrough
2) Continuing my Insanity-Playthrough (AKA Biotic Sniper)
3) Getting that damn Marksman bonus power

I just feel annoyed that I could've gotten it sooner. But I restricted myself to being a d!kc to Ashley so she has a chance of dying (this was imported from a Paragon playthrough).

Also, I'd also like to point out that Lindt Cafe sells chocolates, so...yeah.

If I had to worry about every stupidity this world generates every day, I wouldn't do anything else with my time. That's why I sometimes read about those things merely to laugh about them, as if it was another form of entertainment. Call me a cynic if you want.

Did some work with the Vanguard over the weekend, made an effort to get rid of the rust that I built up from not playing the class in a year. It took me a couple of runs on Mars, but I can feel it all coming back. I should be alright for when I start playing the game proper, but before I forget....

I was wiping my computer, and like the idiot I am, I forgot to backup my ME3 Vanguard masterclass guide, so I'm just going to quickly jot down my Vanguard build here whilst I still remember it so that I can bookmark this page and come back to it when I re write my guide. Finally began with ME3 again. Feels fresh, being a non-NG+ (Insanity - No MediGel, as usual), and with a Vanguard (haven't played in ages with one). Also, I reeeally missed Kaidan His Area Reave + Novacharge ripped thou Mars effortlessly.

 

I stopped today just after settling in on the Normandy and speaking to Hackett. Tomorrow I'll do the full tour thou the ship, reespec my Shep, kick James' ass and start gathering stuff from all around the galaxy.

Also....while pursuing Eva Core on Mars, I Charged at her so many times that even once SHE was pursuing ME for a few seconds, yet still Bruce didn't managed to just tackle and stop her....(facepalm).

It's so funny as a Vanguard ehen you keep on charging her. You'd think Shepard would've easily stopped all that madness.

The first time I found out about the "refuse' ending was when one time, being pissed off that I couldn't skip the dialogue or the endless cutscenes with the Star Brat, I turned and started shooting at the kid..

 

Was a nice "surprise".

 

Needless to say I didn't bother to replay for a different ending. lol

Settled down in the Normandy and did the Cerberus lab mission. Next it'll be getting Javik out of the refrigerator

 

Anyway, the most notorious change I've done from my previous Vanguard playthoughts is that I've changed from a merely brainless Novaguard (spamming Charge-Nova non stop, barely used any weapon back there), to a more ME2, "tactical-style" Vanguard. While still being a Novaguard, Bruce now focuses more on using his weapons (currently a Harrier V until I get the Talon, cos it's kickass and still allows me +200% Power Recharge), and on tactics on the scenario, "stealing" cover from isolated enemies, flanking them and gradually wearing them down

BTW, strangest thing, but so far (Grissom Academy completed, ready to hit Sur'Kesh) I haven't hit the "Weapon mods bug", not even once (when since the 1.05 patch release I've always had it in non-NG's). Hope that continues (Sur'Kesh is kinda the "test of fire" for that, because with Scott I only picked up 1 mod out of 5 or 6 I encountered).

 

Maybe this time works because in addition to purge the "Bioware" folder in My Documents, I also haven't touched Multiplayer as of yet, when in all my previous playthoughts I always entered it at least to configure it. Any confirmation on that? Anyway, just to be safe, I won't play MP at least until I finish this playthought (or until I hit the bug ).
