What light?
The light in Liara's vision/gift.

Say what you want about the ending, but the scenery is wonderful.
@von uber: Great pictures. Enjoyed watching the playthrough unfold, and I'm jealous of the graphic quality.
Today I did Jack's loyalty mission. Convinced her not to kill Aresh. The fight with those three krogan was a pain in the butt, the way they all kept ducking behind cover. It was tough to get a bead on them.
Those conversations with Samara in the starbound lounge really make me wish I hadn't romanced Liara in the first game, heh.
Then it was off to the Citadel, mainly to talk to Anderson about Ashley being on Horizon. Oh, and help Thane find his kid. Kept Kolyat from doing something stupid. Could tell Zaeed was thinking that killing the krogan bodyguard was community service.
Also helped Garrus find, but not kill, Sidonis. Really wanted to let him shoot Harkin, but settled for a pretty good beatdown instead.
Then it was off to Tuchanka. Grunt is now an accepted member of clan Urdnot, Shep cemented her place in krogan lore by killing a thresher maw on foot. Next it's off to an old krogan hospital to help Mordin track down one of his old scientist buddies. Hope the next krogan I talk to knows when to stop talking. Uvenk didn't.

So my soldier Shep started down the path to help Aria retake Omega last night......and I can already feel the itch to just hurry up and get that DLC out of the way. I don't even dislike it, per se, but I always find myself bored with it. Strange, as level designs like the eezo processing plant and the mines are some of my favorite in the series. Too bad what takes place in said levels is just so bland.
Thanks; it's been quite fun. Still amazed that I get choked up at certain points even though I know what is going to happen
This is the end of my Canon shep though, Its been a good ride. Would have been better if i had started posting from me1 though.
Not sure what to do next. . Maybe a manshep (bleh). Or take a break from mass effect.
Do what I'm doing. I started a new DAO playthrough a few days ago to take a rest from playing ME. I don't know if you have played DAO or not, but its a good game.
DAO is worth it. The ending is a perfect fit for the game. I have the DAO Ultimate Edition that contains all dlc. I purchased it 2 years age for $19.99, so it might be cheaper now. If your curious you could always look on youtube to see if it would catch your interest or just look on the forum under Dragon Age Origins and see what people have posted about the game. Depending on your playstyle it could take 60 hours or more to complete it counting the dlc.
DA:O is good. But compared to ME...
I finished 1,5 playthroughs of DA:O before I started another ME playthrough.
Since Titanfall for Xbox 360 has been delayed{again}, I've decided to take my Femshep through ME2 and ME3 again. She's an Adept, but I'm thinking of changing class, Soldier looks interesting, Engineer looks amazing, or I could just make her a Vanguard like my Maleshep ![]()
I'll see.

It was less than 8 bucks on Steam yesterday, it may still be on there.

Finished Leviathan after finally buying it. Enjoyed it very much however wasn't that bit the end just too much? The reaper just fell on its back like it was nothing..
I also wonder how the catalyst 'pawns' managed to overwhelm the leviathans in the first place..
Anyway investigated Sanctuary after that and and helped Miri in rescuing Oriana. Now I'm in a bit of a quandary whether to do the hangouts and party before cronos or after the red wave thingy..
I'll have a look; if I can avoid origin that makes it more tempting.
It's a great game. Not quite on par with Baldur's Gate 2, but leagues beyond most games that aspire to be RPGs. Prepare for a silent protagonist but you'll have much more control over the dialog. Unlike ME, the Warden should exclusively be male so one can romance Morrigan.
What I did (yester)day:

Right. More to follow.
First things first. I really do hate that last mission, it just feels so lazy. The other thing is this:
You are dropped off near the top of the Embankment by Big Ben (judging by the size of the clock tower, it's a little smaller than when I am stopped at the traffic light junction with Westminster Bridge everyday).
First irritation: what the hell happened to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey? No way the Elizabeth Tower would be standing on its own:

Secondly, the distance from there to approximately where the beam is (around Victoria Train station judging by the size of the beam as it appears, and the direction) is, at most a 10 to 15 minute stroll.
Shepard goes by shuttle, on foot then by transport to travel that distance. Did they get bloody lost or something? You can see the relative positions to the beam each time; you get closer but the only way it works is if the first shuttle that picks you up must fly about 100m. The ride in the APC must be about another 100-200m. Bloody stupid is what it is.

Anyway.
Another shot of firing the Cain at close quarters:

Getting different shots of the speech was difficult due to the force focus of the camera:

Saying goodbye to Javik:

A few more gift shots:

Tali getting friendly with a Husk:

Some of the Alliance reinforcements that go past in the background:

Breaking the beam run mission:

The Normandy clipping through all the scenery coming in to land..

A few more beam run shots i liked:

Breaking Anderson's death - this whole section really didn't like freecam; especially the corridoor at the start. Shep fell through the level every time.

Finally, a close up of Shep shooting Anderson:

Last post on this might be some of my favourite images, and then Alice, Canon Shep that she is, is done.

Sorted. I'll give it a go at some point.

If you feel like you might want the DLC stuff, there is an ultimate edition for like $20 bucks that includes everything, including the expansion and extra items.
That deal does if you read the description..

Well that explains why I keep scoring low on reading comprehension.

Time to head through the Omega-4 relay. All upgrades acquired and researched, and all team members loyal. Was afraid for a minute I'd accidentally begun romancing Thane when he said he'd tell me what "Siha" meant someday. Yeesh, for that same reason I never once spoke to Jacob after his loyalty mission.
Anyway, Mordin teased me about coming by the Lab so often to talk to him, so I'm pretty sure Liara and I are okay. Will find out after I give her that intel on the Shadow Broker.
Oh yeah, I hope Hackett's friend is still alive in that batarian prison after all this time, too.
