I actually played some Mass Effect 3 today, but only to test something out for someone else (Cryo ammo with the Falcon, single player). Then I messed around with the Adas Assault Rifle for a bit in single player as well. Been a while since I used that gun.
It was with a existing Soldier playthrough. I nearly started a new (NG+) Infiltrator playthrough. That would have been "disastrous". I still might...
First video of 2015! ![]()
Today Hurin Trevelyan has closed some more gates of Oblivion...uups, sorry, wrong game...I mean fade rifts
and unlocked his 2nd area, althought he still has tons to do in the 1st one...
Glad that the map/journal system is superb, if not I'd have turned myself crazy inside half an hour of playing D:
Got my Mattock! ![]()
Recruited a Prothean ![]()
Also found out that Liara is indeed an archaeologist as well as some new information on hanar society ![]()
Well, against my better judgement, despite already having a handful of unfinished playthroughs, and also very likely to the detriment of my Dragon's Dogma playthrough, I started a new Infiltrator playthrough in ME3 (NG++).
Completed Mars and Menae. Between Cloak, Sabotage, Proximity Mine, and the Claymore (or whatever gun I feel like using), the Butcher of Torfin is demonstrating how she earned her nickname.
And I blame each and everyone of you for making me do this. I hate you all.

My adept femshep let Ashley back on the Normandy.
Talked with Allers about the coup
James mentions being an N7
Samantha has a different version of playing chess
Went to Tuchanka to disarm the bomb
Got a new squadmate. He's Prothean who goes by the name Javik
30 hours so far, lvl 9 (of 20), and Hurin Trevelyan still hasn't even gone to Val Royeaux (and barely touched the Hinterlands). And I've still heard that the length of this game is "dissapointing"?
What did they do? A speedrun in their very first playthoughts? ![]()
Invaded the Geth dreadnought. I didn't have to worry about the dark since all the flashlights gave enough light to see
Went to the Citadel and talked with Miranda
Had a drink with Cortez. Next time I will order a scotch and water
Talked with Javik. He seemed to be happy to be on the Citadel
Saved Ambassador Korlack with help from Zaeed.
Talked with Tactus about his medical supplies
Fixed the sabotaged medical dispensers
I will now see about rescuing Admiral Koris. Or not. Naa. He can wait. I think I will see that Blasto movie
Liara vs Javik survivability test begins! 1-1 for the start ![]()

I do not think I understand complaints about a game being "too short". Better a game that is too short than a game that overstays its welcome, or a game that feels overly long.
Besides, if you enjoy a game, than the length does not matter, and chances are you would play it again if you really liked it.
Played some more of my Infiltrator in ME3. Let's see...
- Talked to a bunch of people on the Citadel. Ordered a hit on General Oraka and let Jona Sederis go free.
- Scanned a bunch of systems for credits and war assets.
- Recovered a Prothean artifact. A bit temperamental but it should fit in just fine with the rest of the Normandy crew.
- Tracked down Leviathan. Ann Bryson died. Or maybe she is in a coma or something. Don't know and don't care. She got me what I wanted.
- Took Omega back.
- Met with some diplomats and rescued a Krogan female from some Salarian world.
- Took a Tuchanka cannon from Cerberus forces.
- Killed a Rachni Breeder.
Infiltrator is nearly unstoppable in single player (but I think we all knew that). If the NovaGuard is an unholy terror, what would you call the Infiltrator?

A cowardly terror? ![]()
P.D: Just crafted an one-handed axe called literally Inquisitor's "Arguments". Think his foes will get the joke? ![]()
P.D2: Crafting system just rocks. Beats even Skyrim's ![]()

True.
I did one playthrough that took 132 hours and another playthrough that 38 hours. I enjoyed both playthroughs. This is for DAI
I have played all three ME games in a little over 18 hours in one sitting and I've done a playthrough of over 30 hours for ME3.
For me I don't mind if I take a long time or a short time for a playthrough.
I finally started and finsihed Portal 2 after owning it for about 2 years. Great game.

The Reapahs have created a false queen ![]()
Also, killed some Cerberus pyjaks on Tuchanka and saved two civilians on Benning ![]()
I think playing a default like game state has ruined me. I've just tried playing my maxed war assets playthrough and I'm completely bored out of my mind, having everything be perfect and everyone be alive completely takes the agency out of things and completely removes that amazing desperate atmosphere that the default has.
It doesn't help that the Vangaurd is not as fun as I remember it being, I much prefer the Soldier class to it now, mostly because of it's tighter skillset. I actually use all my Soldiers powers on a regular basis and don't have to alter my style to do so. Also, having both frag and inferno granades on my Shepard is fun as hell, since they both have different uses and I can spam them so much lol
I'm pretty much just phoning it in and sleepwalking my way through the game because I just want to get it over and done with and go back to my proper save. Actually, you know what, *bleep* it, I'm deleting this save and going back to my Femshep Sentinel save in ME1, there's no point in forcing myself through this.
I'll delete my Vanguard ME2 and ME3 saves but keep the ME1 save, since I think the decisions there are fine, my ME2 and ME3 saves have to go though, they were a bore to go through. Sometime this year I'll try and do my Vanguard again, and actually have fun this time.
I saved Admiral Koris
On ME3MP, I completed my first solo - bronze, geth, hazard reactor with my TSent with a Valkyrie.
(I also failed my two attempts on bronze, reapers, dagger w fem inquisitor and Indra - got to waves 6 & 8. Oh well I'll get them next time.)
You know that ability you never used before and that you only spent a point on because you wanted to reach more interesting ones?
Well, mine was Grappling Hook. And I say "was" because I've discovered the joy of grappling archers and kicking them in their stomach before opening it with my axe ![]()
Not to say it's super-fun against a zombie horde
Especially if more than one companion has it. It's like picking sushi from a table only to devour it a second later ^^

lol, also playing too much DA:I? ![]()
LOL yes, apparently. Fem infiltrator of course. But my fem inquisitor is having a lot fun as well. And she'd kick those pesky reapers right out of the galaxy like she does with all those fade rifts!
