Kathy Shepard - soldier/war hero/Earthborn

 

Wanted to take a nice vacation on Eden Prime instead I decided to fight Geth that haven't been seen in a long time. 

 

Went to the Citadel. Recruited Tali and Garrus. 

 

Became a Spectre.

 

Some bounty huner named Wrex wanted to help me chase Saren. Since he pushed me, I told him to get lost. Pushing women is a no no.

 

Thought I try my luck at taking my vacation on Feros. But no, I had to save the colony and fight Geth again.

 

So I will try again with this vacation thing and go to Noveria

Bought all the mods and armor pieces from Citadel stores. Attacked Cerberus Headquarters.

 

Liara did not sound happy when I told her to leave my cabin. I think she is still mad at me.

 

 

Gameplay-wise I think I played the worst I have ever played. I died fighting Kai Leng more times than I ever have in any other playthrough. I am never playing a Claymore/Shockwave Adept ever again. And I recommend no one else play it. It has been frustrating and making me hate Mass Effect 3 so much. So glad I am almost done this playthrough and get on to something I hope I find more enjoyable: the Tank Sentinel. And if that does not work, I have a Bulletless Soldier playthrough that I am pretty sure I will enjoy.

My adept Shepard is just flaring the **** out of anything and everything on this play through. Also like the pull/omni melee combo

Imported Shepard into ME2. Joker got her killed the idiot, but Cerberus brought her back.

Also released how much I hate Pull compared to Lift.

Just loaded up an old save of mine in ME3 and I went to the Armax Arena to try and solo a mirror match, super elites, with all negative modifiers on, on Insanity, because I hadn't actually tried it before and someone suggested that I should. Within a minute....



Jesus...I thought Platinum was hard. Wtf did I just go through?

I wanted to go to Noveria to do some skiing, but instead I fight, yeah you guessed it, the Geth again. I even fought bugs. Of all thing to fight. It had to be bugs. I called the Terminix guy and he took care of them.

 

Let's go somewhere sunny so I can have that vacation I want. Virmire sounds good. I have my lawn chair, sunglasses and suntan lotion at the ready. Again I fight the Geth. I get the feeling I won't ever get a vacation until I get rid of those things. I also hear Saren wants a Krogan army. Fine. If blowing up the place will get me closer to actually having my vacation, then I'll blow up the place. Ok. The place went boom.

 

Maybe Therum would be a nice place to have a vacation. Boy was I wrong. Its nothing but rock and lava. And not surprisingly, I get to fight the Geth again. 

 

I head back to the Citadel to rethink this vacation I want to take. Ilos. That's the perfect place for a vacation. Excellent. Lets go.

 

Again major disappointment. I fight the Geth again. You know what. When this crap is done, I'll just go back to Earth and head to Hawaii. They have nice beaches and no @@@@@@@ geth. Sounds like a plan.

 

We head through the mini-me relay to the Citadel. Fight more geth and a few Krogan. There's Saren. He looks so cute hopping around like a grasshopper. Quish. Dead. Cool.

 

I head to Hawaii and a lot of pina colada's

Kathy will be in ME2 in about 2 years. Until that time, I will finish my female dwarf playthrough in DAI

Just finished Priority: Earth with my Claymore/Shockwave Adept. I played very conservatively to avoid dying a lot.

 

Just going through the whole unskippable dialogue now to finish the playthrough and create a save for NG+ should I ever decide to do that all again (not likely).

Use Suppressor. Makes it easier. Still a pain though if your build is not OP

I enjoyed my vacation in Hawaii. I think I will go again the next time for a vacation. I was telling everyone about it when I get killed. I guess someone didn't like me going on vacation

 

I wake up and find out that Cerberus rebuilt me. I do a once over. Good. I still have everything that feels like its me. I learn some species known as the collectors are taking human colonists for whatever reason. So my goal is to stop them.

 

I recruit Zaeed, Kasumi, not sure what a thief can do on a mission like this, Mordin and Garrus.

 

Were off to recruit some guy named Jack

Found out this Jack guy is really a woman. I like her tattoo's, but that's all I like

 

Went to recruit Okeer and ends up dead. Took his proto type to the ship. I beleive it will remain in the tank for now

 

The collectors attacked Horizon. Saved some of the colonists. I met Ashley. She was upset that I never took her to Hawaii with me on my vacation. I tried telling her that I would've if she told me she wanted to go. That was over 2 years ago. When this crap is over with the collectors, we'll go to Hawaii together. 

 

For now, I will continue to recruit more for the squad.

I went to Illium to help Miranda. Went shopping. Bought some nice stuff on sale. I even picked up a big screen tv to watch the superbowl later today. Nice.

 

Zaeed was upset he wasn't able to kill Vito, but I still got his loyalty to finish this mission

 

I joined Kasumi on a heist. I had fun. I wore a nice catsuit to crawl around taking all kinds of goodies. Went in the main vault and got the greybox for Kasumi. After that, things went crazy. Robots and mercs wanting to kill me. Even had the Hock guy try and kill me with his gunship. Lots of fun

 

Went to Tuchnka and helped Mordin. He told his assistant to get lost. He deleted the data. We don't need it.

 

I went to recruit Tali and guess what? I fight geth. I can't catch a break for nothin'. It was so nice not fighting those things up to this point. Yeah. I'm goona head back to Hawaii for another vacation when this mission is done.

 

We get to a collector ship. Did you know the collectors were once Prothean? How about that? Everyday I learn something new. The other thing I learnd is this is the same ship that blew up my ship and I got killed. It turns out they weren't happy I went on vacation. That's why they blew up my ship and now they want to make sure I'm killed for good this time. Ok. Now its personal.

 

I tell Joker to head to this derelict reaper. It will be a long trip. Excellent. Myself along with the crew will be down in the mess hall watching the superbowl on this nice looking big screen tv. Outstanding.

This game really does look amazing, I have to say.

Thoroughly enjoying it, the only slight dissonance I have is that due to the story/gameplay segregation, she goes from one extreme to the other:

I started my ME2 playthrough over the weekend and so far have Jacob, Miranda, Jack, Mordin, Grunt, Zaeed, Garrus and Kasumi on board. I've flown around the galaxy, gathering resources and flying some weird hover-mako with rockets, found an odd Cerberus experiment with a guy attached to the Geth with lots of pipes sticking in his body, and also robbed a vault with Kasumi and shot the guy Garrus was chasing. We've just landed on Illium where that really annoying Liara is supposed to be stationed. Oh God, not her and her stilted dialogue again. Do I get to shoot her this time? I'm supposed to be picking up an Assassin here too, maybe I can get him to do it.

Just finished a trilogy playthrough. Romanced Tali for the first time, have to say it was probably the best one in the game when it comes to continuity and frequency of content throughout the main story. It also felt like it had the most natural arc over the trilogy.

 

Seeing as how I'm a big fan of closure, I went through with the ending that saw Tali (LI) and Vega blown up by Harby, the Reapers destroyed, Shepard dead, and only Garrus, Samara, Grunt and Liara alive out of all of my squadmates. I have to say even though its sort of a bittersweet ending, I just can't really see myself deviating from this setup. It seems fitting given the magnitude of the reaper threat that there would be a lot of casualties. The whole letting your LI be blasted by Harbinger was also reminiscent to the way the Matrix film killed off Trinity right before killing Neo which I found to be acceptable as well.

For the first time in all my ME3 playthroughs I didn't feel the need to run to the missiles the moment EDI tells me they are online. I even wanted to stay and kill more Banshees

Joker took a tour of the Normandy

 

I went through the Omega 4 relay

 

The collector base blew up

 

Talked to Harbinger. He told me that he's bringing the reapers to harvest the galaxy because I went on vacation. If the clown is so upset about that, why doesn't it go on its own vacation? Whatever. I kill 300 000 Batarians

 

Now to get Ashley and go to Hawaii for another vacation

Took Garrus and Grunt with me to help a Salarian Doctor cure a plague on Omega. Guys got sick but the Doc fixed them right up.

Damn those Vorcha get everywhere though.

Quiet party went good, ran around Armax long enough to unlock the armor and did all the meetups. Cleaned up the map, nuked Cerberus then shallied back to Earth for the big finale. Surprised myself and went with Destroy, even though I was leaning towards Control. I just hate letting Javik down. Will do a NG+, will edit Shep into an Infiltrator and run a suppressor-pistol Agent build. 

 

Hey Uber, you playing with TressFX on? I haven't tried TR on my new rig but I recall TressFX dropping my frames to 10 fps on my old one.

Yep. No appreciable frame rate drop, and it's bloody amazing. I sometimes just watch the hair

Finished ME2 with everyone alive, collector base went boom.

 

Did Arrival DLC for the first time, so my ME3 import felt a little more organic this time.

 

I spent about an hour trying to get Randi Shepard to look the same as she did in 1&2, but it just wasn't happening.  She still looks like a different person.

 

Rescued the Primarch from Menae.

After completing every assigments and loyalty missions (and having some fun with Miranda down in the engine room), I did the Suicide Mission. Destroyed the Collector Base. Everyone survived.

After that, I stopped a dangerous Organic VI hybrid. Sent him to Grissom Academy. (I might be Renegade, but no one is that heartless)

Then I helped Liara get rid of the Shadow Broker. She became the Shadow Broker.

Only one mission left to do: Arrival.

I didn't do much last night. Landed on Illium, bought a few things, helped a Quarian become a slave, then went and met Liara. She. Still talks. Like. She.. Used to. She's an information broker now, but she didn't get any information on how to speak without me wanting to shoot her. Well, anyway, I told her how to find the Shadow Broker and she disappeared, so while she's powdering her nose and getting ready, I've gone off to find Samara.
