Only one mission in the books today: took out Vasir and then the Shadow Broker. Looked at all the goodies Liara set up afterwards, even bought some intel, but didn't talk to her or invite her back on to Normandy for a visit. Anti-social Shep was all business. Until she went to talk to Thane again....sigh.

Next up: the Reaper IFF.

Just finished the suicide mission. AdeptShep took Miranda and Samara as teammates throughout the collector base. Holy crap, talk about your biotic artillery strikes! Poor Harby; every time he tried to join the battle, he could only ever get as far as "I am assuming direc-" and then he had to try again.

Had Legion crawl through the ducts and Jack kept the seeker swarms off us. Garrus kept everyone else alive, and Mordin took the colonists and Normandy crew back to the ship. No one left behind.

Destroyed the base, and I still dunno how TIM was able to salvage anything after that explosion. Thought it was interesting in talking with EDI as we got our first look at the human proto-reaper. EDI said the reapers likely tried to make a prothean reaper and failed. If true it means the prothean cycle didn't end like it was supposed to. Hmm...

Anyway, off to Ilium to finally give Liara that intel on the shadow broker.

No, completely stock. She's a me1 > me2 > me3 import. The only thing I did was lazarus her face to fix a dodgy me2 import as the bone structure was completely wrong (looked like a different person).

Oh and also fixed the hair colour to make it blonde rather than the weird me3 colour.

Finally finished my Insanity-melee-only-Sentinel run and forth start to finish run, first canon Destroy run.

It was a fun ride and goes to show that any build in this game can do well with the right strategy.

I tried that same build once, but not on insanity. I usually just play normal difficulty. It was fun for awhile, going around beating stuff up... but it's mass effect. I like to shoot things too. But I do punch things out quite a bit more often than I used to. Infiltrator is fun that way too with a shotgun as a backup. All Thane's lessons on snapping necks are finally paying off, heh.

This picture made me chuckle. It looks like Liara is happy that Shepard is dead.

So Shep went to check out Santuary, and Miranda ends up getting killed.  <_<

Never had this happen before - I actually had to check the wiki to see what I did wrong.  Got to admit, I was pretty ticked.  Miranda isn't my favorite character or anything, but not having a former crew member available for my upcoming "it's the end of the galaxy as we know it" Citadel DLC bash is bugging me (what - is my OCD-completionist streak showing?).

Anyways, will be throwing said bash tonight, which means I'll also be finishing out this trilogy run tonight, as well.  I just can't hold off on finishing the story once the "end game" is in motion, which for me is always immediately post-party.  Might possibly be starting an engineer trilogy run later this weekend.

I had that happen when I was romancing her.

I forgot to visit her all three times.

Either she wasn't loyal in ME2, you didn't give her access to Alliance intel or you didn't read the dossier on Kai Leng that Anderson sent you. One of the above.

Hopefully, a long running project was begun!

Today I had my 65 year old, sci-fi enthusiast mother begin ME1.  As I expected, she took nearly an hour to set up her Shepard.  After watching her coordination while trying to walk around the Normandy (so much fail), we decided that I would be the one to run the combat while she made all the dialog decisions.

We've only gone through Eden Prime, but so far Gloria Shepard is tending toward neutral with a slight Paragon bent from her Spacer/War Hero beginnings.  I've told her nothing as far as spoilers, so she's even managed to mess up the first sparks of the Shepard/Kaidan ship.

It's been a looooong time since I've played with fresh eyes.  I'm really looking forward to continuing Gloria's career.

Oooh...that sounds like fun! Might have to try that with my mom someday.

Let's see: in the last 2 days anti-social Shepard retrieved the IFF, found and activated Legion, destroyed the heretics, slept with Thane, flew through the Omega-4 relay and destroyed the Collectors (but not the base). No casualties, though she did briefly consider sending Jacob through the vents (ok, that was just me  ). Picked up some supplies at the Shadow Broker base (still no talkie with Liara) and is now investigating Project Overlord for TIM. Should be simple after the last mission, right?

Imported adeptshep into ME3 for the final leg of the trilogy run. Escaped Earth exclusively using biotics, except for that one time when Anderson asked if I'd forgotten how to shoot.

Then went to Mars and retrieved Liara and not-EDI, again exclusively using biotics to cut down all the Cerberus baddies, except when I had to shoot at not-EDI.

After all those singularities and warps and throws, when Jack talks about her impressive anti-seeker-swarm barrier later on at Grissom Academy, I'm just gonna smirk and start humming, "you'll never be as good as Commander Shepard" at her.

Got Ashley to Huerta Memorial. Thought briefly about recruiting Dr. Michel instead of Dr. Chakwas, but decided it wasn't right for a trilogy run. Now, if Dr. Michel and Tali fought over Garrus at some point that'd be a different story.

Recruited Allers. I'll let Javik tell her stories about the bounty hunter who used to live in the starboard cargo hold. Wanted to punch Khalisah, but didn't. Sent her after the council instead. That'll teach 'em not to give me all their fleets.

Toured the Normandy, picked up Boo and all my models, and now have to decide where to go next now that I have control of the ship.

Sporkfu, what was the love history of your characters? And your plans regarding to this at your current play?

This time through it's Liara, but I have done all the other romances in the past. Liara's is probably still my favourite of them all, but I find it kind of funny how Liara never really seems as confident in the relationship as Shep is. She always seems to be waiting for Shep to affirm things before she does. I dunno, I still like it but... Liara would normally outlive shep by about 800 years -- and still might, he said diplomatically -- She should be enjoying the hell out of a relationship with Commander Sheperd.

Finished up ME2 (sent David to Grissom Academy; blew up the Alpha Relay) and imported anti-social Shepard into ME3. Didn't visit Kaidan while at the Citadel but was nice to him on Mars. Haven't talked to anyone on the Normandy outside of auto-dialogue. Managed to find all my ship models and Space Boo. Alas....the fish tank is empty. Now heading to Palaven to rescue the primarch.

Rescued Jack and the biotic students from Grissom Academy. Was trying to see how far I could get into the game firing as few bullets as possible. Except where it was scripted I'd fired a grand total of two shots. But Lash broke the game during that final rush of Cerberus baddies. Somehow one centurion ended up underneath the floor and Jack kept lobbing a biotic attack at him, and the next wave wouldn't trigger. Had to reload and shoot all the shielded enemies. Damn.

Went to the Citadel. solved a few problems, caught up with some old friends, and picked up a bunch of quests. Got to wondering why Aria didn't just use the Blue Suns, Eclipse and Blood Pack armies to take back Omega before committing them all to the war effort.

It took an extended late night run, but I finished out my soldier Shep trilogy run over the weekend.  Did the last few Citadel visits, the party, then on to Chronos Station and Priority: Earth.  Wasn't a fan of Shep's renegade speech before the push to the beam.  Chose destroy (obviously).

And surprise, surprise - got that itch to go back to ME1 and start a new run.  I guess it's really not that surprising - I took a pretty long break mid-ME3 during the trilogy run I just wrapped up, so I haven't touched ME1 in almost half a year (I know, I know - I say that like it's not normal or something).

Male, Earth born, sole survivor, adept (somehow I've never actually done ME1 with an adept before).  Here we go again.

Currently doing a trilogy run within 24 hours. I'm 2 hours in ME1 after doing 2 missions, Eden Prime and Feros. Just taking a break now to let my controller recharge and grab a bite to eat.

Food is for the weak. You should get a drip installed and a plastic bottle for waste.
