Shepard has helped Liara become the Shadow Broker, they agreed to be friends, and he just got a call from Hackett about a deep space operative who claims to have proof of an imminent reaper invasion. (actually got that call after Horizaon, but I'm roleplaying it that he got the call after the suicide mission to justify waiting so long to start the mission.)

Since Lois Trevelyan is taking the red eye flight from the Storm Coast to the Forbidden Oasis, I wanted to start ME3 with Kathy Shepard

 

This sucks being locked up for 6 months. I know Ashley is mad since I promised to take her to Hawaii after dealing with the collectors. Blame the Alliance. James tells me the committee wants to talk with me. Anderson says he needs me to find a way to stop the reapers. Hmm. He and others had 2 years while I was dead to find a way to stop the reapers and for the last 6 months I've been locked up doing nothing. Anybody got a murder knife? Ah come on. Someone out there must have one.

 

I face the committee/ Look at that. Larry, Curly, Moe and Hilary. These clowns are real winners. I'm interrupted by an explosion. The clowns are dead and Anderson tells me that we need to get to the Normandy.

 

Hamburger wasn't lying. He said he will bring his forces to destroy the galaxy because I went on vacation. Now its personal.

 

I get to the Normandy and Anderson decides to stay. Ok. I like to stay or at least stay long enough to run to McDonalds to get a Big Mac. Hackett the slackett says I need to go to Mars. Fine. I hate Mars.

 

We get to Mars and run into a group that looks like they're from Cerberus. Wait a minute. Why shoot at me? I helped you guys stop the collectors. Doesn't matter. You shoot at me, I shoot back. Haha. I heard one of them yelling 'TAKING CASUALTIES'.

 

Ashley is upset that she didn't go to Hawaii. I tell her its the Alliance's fault. She calms down for the moment.

 

Who is this? Wait  a minute. That looks like the asari that I rescued nearly 3 years ago. What's her name? That's right. Its Liara. Yeah. Yeah. I got it now. Anyways she says she found a way to send the reapers on their own vacation since they're upset I went on one after Sovereign was destroyed. Cool. Hear that Ashley? We could be in Hawaii by the end of the week. I jumped the gun too quickly. Its only plans. Lets get them.

 

James goes back to the shuttle while me and the others head to the archieves. After dealing with all the Cerberus guys, we enter the archieves. NOOOO. Someone is downloading them. Get them. I want to go to Hawaii. As I'm chasing this person, I wonder why she isn't wearing a helmet or mask. That means one thing. She or rather it, is a robot. Oh crap. Ashley. You die robot. 

 

We head to the Citadel to get medical attention for Ashley. 

 

I face the council. This is the council. Whatever. The Turian councilor mentions a way to get help. That's a start.

 

I wake up from my dream at being on a beach in Hawaii. Its the Liara asari wanting to talk about whatever. Hello. And who are you? Samantha Traynor. Hmm. I give her the once over. Nice. Next time I see Ashley and she's awake, I will tell her that a 3rd person may join us in Hawaii. I hope so.

 

Can't worry about that crap right now. I head to Palaven's moon

Did a bit of co-op Divinity: Original Sin. Absolutely fantastic game, the best RPG I've played in a long, long time.

I finally got back to ME2, it seems weekends are my best times for playing these games. Shepard gathered everyone she needed and started to help out a few with some personal issues, Garrus shot someone, Legion destroyed all the heretic geth, and so on, and eventually we decided to head for the Omega-4 Relay. Well, things went downhill from there, it was definitely a suicide mission. Jack, Kasumi and Thane were dead before we even landed. Garrus got shot closing the first door, Jacob got pulled off by Reaper swarms, Grunt wasn't the best fireteam leader and died in the process, Tali and Miranda died fighting the human Reaper and Samara got shot holding the line.

 

This left Shepard with Legion, Mordin and Zaeed. After destroying the Collector Base, much to the Illusive Man's disappointment, we went to sort out Zaeed's problem. He went crazy and nearly killed a bunch of innocent people, so we left him to his fate on the planet. So Legion and Mordin are all that's left of the team. On to ME3!

Which I believe to be crap. All it takes is for one squadmate to help Shepard climb into the Normandy. The other is why couldn't the hologram move the ship closer to make the jump easier for Shepard? If the crew is saved, why can't one of them pull Shepard up? 

 

I understand having 2 squadmates survive for Shepard to live since the player may want to continue playing the game after the suicide mission, but if only one lives, have it where the game can't be continued

I thought the two surviving ones needed to be with Shepard on the final fight. So they can be with him after making the jump and help him climb. Never tried having other squadmates survive.

I walk around the ship talking with everyone. I like the upgrades.

 

I talk with the Traynor woman. Very intelligent. Its her voice. Yes I will make an effort to hear her voice as much as possible. I have to find a way to see if she would be interested in going to Hawaii for a vacation

 

We get to Menae. Fight through reaper ground forces. This is the new Primarch, General Victus. He wants the Krogan. Ok. If it will get me one step closer to getting to Hawaii, I'll do it.

 

You know that eva bot? It is now the edibot. I tell the guards to shoot the thing if it tries something while its on the ship

 

I head back to the Citadel. Ashley is happy I gave her something to read. She didn't mind if I brought the Traynor woman to Hawaii. She will have her eyes on all the guys. Fair enough. Ok. Get better Ashley. I'll be back. Remember that phrase? Yes. Here it is. Hahaha

 

After picking up some supplies, I head to the renedezvous point for the summit

 

Did you hear that? Wreav wants the genophage cured. And how long will that take clown. The galaxy will be destroyed by the time a cure is available. Oh look at that. He's got a vid showing female Krogans. Ok. Lets see what happens.

 

Hey Mordin. How's it going? Please tell me you have a cure. I hear that pina colada calling my name in Hawaii. He doesn't, but can make one with the help of the female Krogan. Cool. Lets go. Let me deal with the Cerberus who want me to kill them.

 

I talk with the Hackett the slackett hologram. The project is called 'The Vacation". Good .That's what I will be doing when this over

 

Traynor tells me about Grissom Academy. I will check it out. It would be bad  for me to say no to a voice like that.

 

But first I will head back to the Citadel to run a few errands

Spent 2.5 hours yesterday mining the pre-Horizon systems in ME2. I managed to mine more than enough minerals to get every single upgrade, including DLC upgrades, but I'll still need to do some minor mining from time to time in order to make sure that I get enough minerals, in order to get the 100 mineral resource WA in ME3. The hard part is done though.

 

Now off to recruit Grunt and Jack.

Back at the Citadel, I talk with Ashley. Good that she's back on her feet. I show her a picture of the hotel we can stay at in Hawaii She liked it. She showed me a picture of the bikini she will get to wear. Wearing that, she will never run out of guys whistling at her.

 

I do some shopping and meet Miranda. She looks good. She's worried about her sister. I told her to stay in contact and let me know if she needs any help

 

Steve finally made it off the Normandy. He likes watching the ships fly by.

 

Traynor tells me Grissom is a school. Ok. So I change into my schoolgirl uniform. I grab my textbooks, pens, paper and calculator. Lets go. Hold up. What is Cerberus doing here? That puts a damper on things. Crap. Now I have to get my weapon and change back into my armor. We get rid of a few Cerberus guys. A Kathlee Saunders woman tells me some students are trapped. Ok. I'll rescue them. I ask her where the geography room is. We head there first.

 

I find some interesting information about Hawaii. There is a unnamed beach located south of Honolulu. I don't remember that when I was in Hawaii before the SR1 was destroyed. Hmm. Unfortunately it doesn't give all the information about it, but gives the locations to clues about the beach. Ok. New mission people.  Four other locations have clues to this. 

 

We rescue the students and head back to the Normandy. Traynor is happy that the students are safe. She even mentions she like to play chess and get sweaty at the same time. That sounds promising.

 

We go check on some Krogan scouts and the planet we're going to also has a clue to this unnamed beach. I meet Urdnot Dagg. He mentions something about Rachni. Are they guarding the clue that I'm looking for? Lets fine out. Kill the Rachni and see the Queen. I let her go on Noveria. She told me that the reapers paid her a large sum of credits to guard the clue that I seek. She will let me have it, if I set her free. That's a no-brainer. Have a nice day Queen. That's 2 clues I have. Only need 3 more.

 

We head to Tuchanka to deal with the genophage. The Salarian Dalatross wants me to sabotage the genophage in exchange for information leading to another clue about the unnamed beach. What? How does she know about that? Whatever. I'l sabotage the genophage. Mordin agrees that the Krogan don't need a cure right now. I have go help with building 'The Vacation". Even Hackett can't shut him up. Deal with it hackett the slackett hologram.

 

I head back to the Citadel to talk with the Salarian Councilor. What's this? Why is Cerberus here? Wait a minute. They must be after the same clues that I'm after because one of the clues is located here on the Citadel. I have a traitor on the Normandy. I suspect I know who or should I say what the traitor is. 

 

Fight through the Cerberus guys. Who is this? Is this Halloween? I thought Halloween was at the end of October. Oh crap. He just killed Kirrahe. That's right chicken sh*t. Run from me. Lets go get him. We crash. Run into girls with swords. Swords? What year is this? Both Liara and James were laughing at the sword girls. This has got to be a joke. Now they're firing a palm something. They want to play? I can play too. Aim weapon at head. Fire weapon. Head explodes. Next. Yeah. Maybe next time they bring an assault weapon. 

 

Ashley. Why are you pointing that weapon at me? Drop the weapon and will tell you clues to an unnamed beach in Hawaii. I thought that would peak her interest. Nice shot. She kills Udina.

 

With all that done, I set out to get that other clue

A work day, so not a lot of time as usual. Shepard dodged a flying table and jumped out a window to follow Anderson as the Reaper invasion hit Earth. Walking along and.. hey, there's that kid from the garden! He walked through a locked door, how odd. And now he's there in the vent. Hold on! You're not tricking me, I know this from ME2. The Reaper IFF mission, the video, the grey thing that came out of the wall where they took the vent off. Yeah, now I'm seeing a kid all dressed in grey in a vent with a big warning sign next to it. Yeah, I'm on to you Harby. I hear you roar when Anderson interrupts us. Get out of my head, creep!

 

And there he is again as we escape, climbing into the transport with that caution/danger sign next to him, nobody even seeing him. Come on Harby, you're going to have to try harder than that! Well, anyway, we escape and head off to Mars to find that Liara still isn't dead. It's got to happen soon, please tell me it happens soon, I can't stand another game with her. We kill a bunch of Cerberus, crash a transport into some robotic woman thing, then head for the Citadel. Is that the news reporter over there? I'll pay her a personal visit tomorrow. Time for bed!

Today in the trilogy, I went to the Citadel and walked around finding all the handsome turians. No lie, there are definitely some fine turians just hanging around the presidium!

Helped Wrex get his old family armor, convinced Major Kyle to surrender to Alliance authorities, went to the citadel to resupply and helped to sort out the mess between Jahleed and Chorban while I was there.   Then I helped Garrus track down Dr Saleon and let Garrus shoot him for his crimes, then I shot Toombs and took the Cerberus scientist into custody.

Tonight I managed to persuade the other half to take her first steps in the ME universe.

With me controlling under her direction, Ophelia Shepard made her first foray into the galaxy. So far she has punched Manuel and felt sad when Nihlus has been shot.

I managed a few hours tonight. Shepard went to see the news reporter who wanted to bunk on the Normandy. Not welcome, too weird looking, go find another ship to sleep in. Shepard went to talk to the council who, in their usual style, refused to help, so off we go again, on a galactic trip to make friends and influence people. First we went for a wander and came across some Reaper artifacts in a Cerberus base, then we went to see how the Turians were doing. Not so good, as it turns out, their planet is burning and Reapers are waltzing across their moon.

 

Well, we grabbed someone important looking and dragged him back to the ship, then went off into space for another road trip. This time we found an Academy for Biotics, which was overrun by Cerberus troops. Those things are becoming more of a nuisance than the Reapers! But hey, it keeps us in practice. We saved most of the Biotics, then went off to meet a few diplomats. Hey! It's Wrex! He's still as grumpy as ever, he should get laid. Turns out, that's his plan, there's some Krogan women on some Salarian planet so we're off to find Wrex a girlfriend.

 

We landed, Wrex got all grumpy again and I decided that was enough for one night.

Apparently there is a trap door in the Dantius Towers that Shepard can use to get rid of the last Vanguard there.

With Cerberus stopped, the Citadel works at getting things cleaned up. I go to the location on the Citadel that has one of the clues I need for this unnamed beach. I find it. I look at it with the other 2 clues and still can't make heads or tails what they mean. 

 

I head back to the Normandy and run into Ashley. We talk. She feels bad for pointing her weapon at me. I call it even if she pays for the hotel in Hawaii. Deal. Cool.

 

We head to Eden Prime to see about some artifact. It turns out the pod contains a live Prothean. Wow. We have to get the codes to open it, but first have to fight the Cerberus guys. These guys are annoying. With them dealt with, the pod is opened and the Prothean climbs out. It takes him a moment to get use to his surroundings. I look in the pod and guess what I found. Another clue to the unnamed beach in Hawaii. Did the Protheans go to Hawaii for a vacation? Can't say I blame them. Its a nice place. Ok. Back to the Normandy. I only need one more clue.

 

I invite Traynor up to the cabin. She beats me at chess. That's not suppose to happen. I never lose. Lets play a game I like. She's all for it. Yes. Success.

 

I meet with the Quarians. I need to help them deal with the Geth. Not again. I hated those things when I was chasing the Saren guy. I take Javik and Ashley with me on the dreadnought. Learn that the geth joined the reapers because the Quarians attacked them. That's nice. But what does that have to do with me going on vacation. Back on the Normandy, I give Gerrel an earful for firing on the dreadnought while I was still on it. That's a no go clown. I want to be in one peice when I take my vacation in Hawaii.

 

Head to Rannoch. Lots of geth. These geth primes are very tough. Look at that. It a reaper crawling out of the ground. So that's where the reapers hide for 50 000 years. I would never of guessed. Now I play chicken with it. Excellent. I win. The thing tells me because I wanted to go on vacation while chasing Saren and actually going on vacation after killing his uncle Sovereign, Harbinger agreed to attack the galaxy to kill me for doing that. That is the silliest thing I ever heard. It shuts off. I didn't realize going on vacation would result in machines trying to destroy the galaxy. Whats next? Ok. The geth are now scrap and the Quarians are sending people to help with Project Vacation.

 

The asari councilor wants to see me, but first Traynor told me about some Cerberus scientists that might help with the project.

I did not feel like playing Mass Effect 3 tonight. 

Neither did I feel like playing Dragon's Dogma again.

 

So I fired up Mass Effect 2 to continue my Adept-like Sentinel (Adeptinel?). Surprisingly, it did not take me that long to get that back into the game. But I am beginning to wish I had just converted this guy into an Adept instead of keeping him a Sentinel. I hate the ME2 Sentinel (although the Assault Sentinel playstyle is fun, but I have done that already).

 

First, I helped Kasumi get back her greybox. I decided to spec her Shadow Strike into Heavy Shadow Strike based on some discussion I had once with Cap and Gown. What a stupid decision that was. Really wish I had went with Rapid Shadow Strike instead.

 

Next, I did the first Firewalker mission to get some XP so I could advance two levels after completing the next mission.

 

Then I went to Korlus to recruit a Warlord and instead ended up with The Worst Squadmate in the Game (read: Grunt). Once again I had trouble in the same spots I always do, but I actually beat Jedore on my second try which was somewhat surprising.

 

I did not realize how much I missed playing Mass Effect 2, although I wish I was not a Sentinel. Whatever. Next mission is Horizon.
