So Tyson got himself blown up by the collectors and then revived by Miranda.  Went to Omega picked up Zaeed and Mordin.  Tonight I will probably visit the Normandy crash site and pick up that Archangel fellow.

Finished the insanity run finally... the last stretch was infuriating if only because the pay off was never going to be worth it.  Especially the random misfiring with that stupid pistol.  O well, guess I can look at the 12 or so tries as Marauder Shields successfully saving me as he should. First time I chose Control... and last.  I thought the other two were bad but my god that was absolutely horrid.  

 

At least I always save the Citadel DLC to be the real ending.  Time to start it up.  I really need to wash the foul taste out...

Today I had a blast on Tali's recruitment mission using Legion as one of my team mates. (unfortunately, the video has some echo because I turned up the volume on the TV to listen to the music while the game was in pause mode as the previous vid uploaded. It's not too bad, though I wish it weren't there.)

Ophelia had a brief run: She told shiara she wasn't getting any help ("well if she won't tell me why, why should I help?"); followed by meeting the council.

Next up is hopefully to find garrus, we would have carried on but "why is he not right there? He was a minute ago . I'm too tired for this".

I fear this may be an uphill struggle.

Shepard was back in action yesterday. After wandering the Citadel and having a little dance in Purgatory, she took to the skies to see what the Quarians were up to. Geth, Geth and more Geth. First stop, Geth Dreadnought. Some crazy Quarian Admiral decided to open fire while she was still inside, so that sealed their fate. Ignoring the Geth ships that were attacking the fleet, and thus missing the mission to travel inside the Geth mainframe, she went straight to deal with the Reaper threat on Rannoch. After a quick game of laser tag, the Reaper was dead and so were the Quarians. Hah! Fire on me, will ya?!

There were a couple more things to do after that, mostly Cerberus running around the Galaxy, and then it was across to Thessia to see what the Asari had been doing. It turns out they had a mega secret Prothean beacon hidden in plain sight inside a statue. Ahh, them clever Asari. Manga boy turned up again and waved his sword around, which is no match for bullets, but luckily he was saved by a cut scene before Shepard could kill him - apparently I lost that one, despite being 2 shots from killing him.

Shepard has got all mopey now, she's not used to losing, so she's going to invite Traynor upstairs for some.. uh.. stress relief. Fade to Black!

I cheated coalesced to give me max renegade to see what I could use it for with the TIM. Unfortunately, both options were greyed out. Then I went to the wiki to discover what went wrong and nearly soiled my underwear in rage when I saw it. Then I went to the bathroom to wipe a small amount of evacuated excrement while I was straining during said rage.

Last night Tyson reunited with his old buddy Garrus who gotten himself into some trouble and was beseiged by the merc gangs on omega.  Tyson and his squad managed to break the siege but Garrus was injured as he took a rocket to the face.  Doctor Chakwas managed to patch Garrus up and now Garrus is busy calibrating Normandy's main gun.

Today Tyson traveled to the citadel to meet up with Councelor Anderson.  Anderson had tried to arrange a meeting with the rest of the council but they refused to see Shepard seeing that he had sacrificed the previous council during the battle of the citadel. Tyson concluded that this council was just as useless as the previous council but he did accept Spectre reinstatement from Anderson.  Afterwards he went back to Zakera ward to purchase some supplies where he ran into Miss Al Julani (sp?).  This time instead of punching her like he did two years prior he explained his actions during the battle of the citadel.  After all that Tyson needed to let off some steam so he went to the Dark Star and hit the bar until he passed out.

Before departing the citadel he had made contact with master thief Kasumi Goto whom cerberus had arranged to join Shepard's squad for his mission to bring down the collectors.  Apparently as part of the arrangement she had made with Cerberus she needed help with a heist containing her old partner's greybox which apparently contained sensitive information that could lead to interstellar war.  Shepard concluded that nothing comes without a price and agreed to help Kasumi with her heist in exchange for her joining his squad.

Shepard then traveled to planet Zorya  (sp?)  where he fullfilled the agreement he made with Zaeed and helped Zaeed hunt down and kill his former business associate Vido Santiago.  Turns out the Zaeed and Vido were the original founders of the Blue Suns and Zaeed and Vido had parted on bad terms (getting shot in the face would be pretty bad terms after all).   The refinery workers were burned alive in the process but Vido had to be brought down.

Shepard then started a goose chase for a couple of cerberus scientists and picked up the hammerhead ground vehicle.

Just finished getting all the weapon upgrades from the Shadow Broker ship. That includes two quick side missions to get a mission complete screen so the next upgrade would have a chance of appearing.

 

I am just about to mod my save to swap out the Tech Armor power mapping with Warp.

Spent 3 hours creating my character face for another run through the trilogy.

Things are not going well aboard the Love Boat Normandy: 6 loyalty missions completed, only 3 loyal team members. Also, the ship feels soooo empty without the crew. (Not that I miss Kelly constantly lying to me about having emails when I don't.) Tristan Shepard may end up as the loneliest fellow in the galaxy. At least I got through Miri's disloyalty mission without dying. Dominate FTW!

For the tenth time Grunt, in a minute! I'm picking up credits. I know you're Krogan, but geez, show a little patience.

 

Also, shot my way through Clan Weyrloc and helped Mordin locate his missing assistant. We sent him packing to Omega or wherever he decided to run off to.

 

 

Kept dying on Thane's recruitment mission, so I decided to quit for the sake of my sanity. I blame taking the Carnifex instead of the Predator. The Carnifex is always out of bullets.

Just finished Thane's recruitment mission as my biotic-focused Sentinel. It went a little smoother after restarting it with the Predator this time, but I still had more than my fair share of trouble. Some of it was due to controller issues (my analog sticks have been wearing out for quite some time now), but a lot of it was my fault. I tend to push the limits of what i am actually capable of.

 

I really should have imported this guy as an Adept or switched it to become and Adept when I last modded my save. I am focusing on using Slam, Throw, and Warp, with a little Tech Armor thrown in at times, but i have two issues when I am playing it:

 

1. I am trying to play it like an Adept, but without the Adept's best two powers: Singularity and Pull (Field). 

2. When I do use Tech Armor for some close-quarters combat, I am without Assault Armor.

 

So what I am left with is a gimped Adept and a gimped Assault Sentinel all rolled into one. Assault Armor will be the last power I max, and I want to avoid playing around the Assault Sentinel playstyle because I have done that before and I want to do something different. But the Sentinel is not really built to do much different outside of Assault Armor.

 

I suppose I could have tried a Cryo Blast + Throw playstyle, but... meh. This playthrough is not turning out as I had hoped. 

 

I really, really hate the Sentinel class in ME2 (apart from the Assault Sentinel) and I had hoped this would be more fun. It is, but it just feels like the gimped Adept that it is and it just makes me wish I had made him an Adept instead.

 

But I can be stubborn and I am going to continue to play this guy as a Sentinel. I really hate myself sometimes.

Today in ME3, FemShep reunited with Tali and the Quarians.

 

Then immediately began facepalming after learning that the Quarians had started up their Robot War just a fortnight ago, several weeks after the entire Galaxy entered their own Robot War with a race of far bigger, meaner and more powerful machines who wanted to kill everyone. Passive aggressively decided to retitle the mission to from "Priority: Geth Dreadnought" to "Priorities: Quarians Don't Have Them".

 

Decided to agree to help Tali infiltrate a Geth Dreadnought with EDI, began humming the Russian national anthem while walking along the docking tube, before discovering and rescuing Legion from Reaper control. Then, had to run like a bat out of hell when her Quarian "allies" decided to repay our friendly neighbourhood robot buddy for shutting down the shields, by immediately trying to blow up the dreadnought while FemShep and one of their fellow Admiral's were still onboard.

 

Due to Hackett asking Shepard to appeal to them Quarians via diplomacy, was forced to restrain the urge to either punch in the gut and/or Krogan headbutt Gerrel so hard his faceplate would rupture. Decided instead to go upstairs and rant at fish for a while, who don't care, not now that they've got a VI that automatically feeds them instead?

 

At least FemShep has the hamster on her side.
