Well today Tyson helped Jacob find his father who had lost his nut so we left him where we had found him, then Tyson went to the planet Haestrom in Geth controlled space and along with Garrus and Kasumi deacitivated a bunch of Geth and reunited with Tali as she joined the squad. Now Tyson is resting in his quarters because tomorrow he prepares to return to Illium and look for an asari justicar.
What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy

More ME2 Sentinel.
Headed to Zorya to help Zaeed. Zaeed was an idiot and set the refinery on fire. Saved the workers and Vido got away. Convinced Zaeed he should continue to listen to me. Hit level 30 and finally got Assault Armor.
Ended up using Assault Armor a lot on some Blue Suns side missions because I wanted to get the Heavy Skin Weave upgrade. MSV Strontium Mule continues to hate me by bugging out a few times. Finally managed to beat it without any more glitches and grab my upgrade. Beat a few more side missions.
Next up, probably Arrival for more upgrades, then the Reaper IFF, then Tali's loyalty mission. If it allows me to do more missions before the crew abduction, then I will probably hit Overlord DLC after that before doing the Suicide Mission. I will leave Legion's loyalty mission until the end.

Rescued Admiral Hackett's friend from a Batarian prison, only to have her turn on me after showing me a Reaper artifact called "Object Rho." Killed everyone YMIR mech that tried to take me down before Object Rho blasted me with some kind of pulse and knocked me out.
I do not know what the heck Cerberus upgraded me with, but it must have helped counteract whatever sedative The Project's medics were giving me. I grabbed my shotgun and laid waste to every indoctrinated chump that thought they could kill me. "I cannot stop the Arrival" they said. Maybe that's true, but one thing was for certain: they could not stop the Assault Sentinel.
Took me two attempts to beat Object Rho. I would have beaten on the first attempt, but one of the Engineers hit my with Incinerate before I could re-activate Assault Armor. I decided to cheese it somewhat by nuking the YMIR with two M-920 Cain shots. I also used the Geth Plasma Shotgun for some one-shot kills when charged.

Tristan Shepard (aka Fail-Shep) suffered grievous losses on the suicide mission. Two folks lost on the approach run. One more during the vents portion. (40-50 more if you include the entire crew that was already dead by the time he arrived, with the exception of Kelly and Dr. Chakwas.) Yet another three by the time Shepard arrived at the final platform. And another two during the extraction phase. Including Shepard, there are now only 5 organics left on the Normandy, plus two AIs.
Despondent from his losses, Shepard has decided to hand himself in to the Alliance to face charges over his actions in the Bahak system.
I had forgotten how weird both options regarding the base decision sound.
"I won't let fear compromise who I am"
"A threat this big, rules go out the window"
What rules? What does fear have to do with it? *facepalm*

"Who I am" = Someone who opposes the Reapers. Who opposes their technology up to this point. Shepard is saying that he won't let the fear of the arrival of the Reapers to compromise his identity as someone who will not turn to technology of organic-person-mulching just to feel more secure about being prepped against the Reapers.
Basically, Shepard won't try to keep a Reaper Making Factory for the sake of having a weapon. Its a Reaper Making Factory. It is an abomination. Not for what it is, but what it does.
"Rules go out the window" = Okay, Shepard normally would oppose the Reapers and their technology as evil, Paragon or Renegade. However this time, he'll make an exception. If he can use the Collector Base as a counter against the Reapers (aka a weapon), he will go for it.
This conversation choice is purely about Shepard deciding whether turning to Collector technology is a good thing, in the context of using it as a weapon the Reapers. Similarly, the ME3 final choice is about Shepard deciding whether turning to Reaper technology is a good thing, in the context of using it as a way to preserve or advance the galaxy.
Keep in mind that Destroying the Base still matches with Control. Why? Because we can safely enough assume that Shepard will not be building more Reapers - at least not through painfully killing millions of people. The end of ME2 was Shepard's 'test of character', before the larger more official test/Crucible of his will and hope.
Keeping the Base gives a slight boost towards Control (if very low EMS), but if you're one to trend that way ('use all this tech as a weapon'/Renegade orientation), then picking to Control is the most TIM-like Shepard can be (Renegade Control). On the other hand, Destorying the Base while Destroying the Reapers gives the most feeling that Shepard has resisted all aspects of the Reapers til the very end.
TLDR; 'Who I am' = someone who absolutely opposes everything of the Reapers, and especially if it involved the deaths of thousands and primarily is tech that may only be capable of bringing on the deaths of millions . 'Rules' = The internal rules that Shepard has set for himself about the Reapers/the Enemy until this point.
'Won't sacrifice who I am' = Order
'Rules go out the window' = Chaos
This is one of those cases where you actually have to get into Shepard's head - you can't just believe that he'll be your puppet and believe and think everything you want him to. Shepard is never actually fearful here, or he doesn't have any actual hardset rules, but his statements here reflect his mindset. If he destroys the base, it is because he has made a decision to not keep the base on the reasoning that keeping the base is a fearful act that would erode his character ('nothing good came out of Reaper tech' + 'next thing I know you'll be wanting to grow your own Reaper'). If he keeps the base, it is because he has made a decision to reject his previous standards for the sake of any chance to hit the Reapers harder.
And I know that the waves are Red and Blue respectively, not the other way around. But this is where I think Mass Effect starts flipping and merging the Red and Blue of things, especially as things start getting Green.

Kaidan don't shoot me, shoot that guy behind you
Before Kaidan was allowed back on the Normandy, he had to pay the boarding fee of 1000 credits
Did anyone know that there was a prothean on Eden Prime?
saved some turians
that's a big bomb.I take it back to the Normandy to use later on
Long time no see, Zaeed
I will flip a coin on either seeing this Dr.Bryson character or seeing the Quarians

Went back to Illium and picked up Samara. Was going to do the Collector Ship mission as well tonight but feeling tired so I will do it tomorrow. Leaning towards picking up the revenant but considering the claymore.

Started a playthrough of ME3 with my importet ME3 Human Male Infiltrator. Noticed, that all aquired and modified weapons were imported, too. So I ran through the Mars archives with a Black Widow V. It was....beautiful. ![]()

Went to chat to Liara after curing the genophage, she was very friendly considering she'd chewed me out earlier for going back to Thane.
If sitting on my knee and giving me a kiss is her being mad, then I can't wait for us to make up.

Husks actually had shields in ME1. They had armor in ME2 (Hardcore/Insanity), but just health in ME3.

Yep. The idea was to look closely at the husk to the right. It seems to have the shield restore animation like Shepard and squadmates do. It might just be some biotic stuff messing about though ![]()

I see Tali
a talking flashlight. Wow. It tells me it can guide me through the dark
I met a server. I ordered a steak with mash potatoes. Mmmm. I leave a 10 credit tip for the server
rescued an Admiral
went face-to-face with a reaper. We played Blackjack. It lost.
The flashlight said it could help retake Earth. I said no since the sun can provide all the light I need to see Earth

I believe that animation plays when the armor layer is removed. It even has the same sound effect IIRC

Ben Shepard killed samara and let Morinth take her place. He sent legion to Cerberus. Then I got tired of loyalty missions so I went into the relay after Thanes and was not into planet scanning so no upgrades to the ship. Only Garrus Morinth and Zaed survived the suicide mission. Imported that into ME3 to see what would be different with most people dead.

That's really evil I went renagede just not that hardcore. I didn't know you could kill Zaed in me2. I let kirahee live so that's going to make killing Ashlee a bit harder. I plan on betraying wrex since I've never seen that scene yet and I never went to tuchunka in me2 so eve and that will be dying anyway.
