What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy

@birefringent: I continue to love your posts. Thank you for taking the time to make those. They really lighten my day.
Anyway, for my own playthrough (ME2 Sentinel)...
I know I am supposed to be playing a biotic-focused Sentinel (Throw, Warp, Slam), but it did not quite turn out that way today:
1. Boarded a derelict Reaper, killed a lot of uglies. I am somewhat ashamed to say that I abused the Tech Armor exploit; I kept activating it to reset my squadmate cooldowns. Found an intact Geth. Took it back on board the Normandy for spare parts.
2. Met Dr. Gavin Archer. Helped him shut down his little experiment that got waaaaay out of hand. During the mission, I met a mobile Geth platform that refused to die; I wish I had recorded that, but I did not feel like it. I tried to play more biotically, but ended up just assaulting everything with a shotgun and SMG.
3. Took my squad on a mission that I never got to play while the Collectors boarded the Normandy and abducted the crew. Joker practiced saying his favorite swear words.
Ready to hit Omega Relay to tear the Collectors a new one. Then maybe I will see about helping Legion. I have not decided if this (Paragon) Shepard will rewrite or destroy the heretics. I am leaning towards rewrite on this playthrough.

It's all good. I love doing them
For me it's also good for combining two things I love to do: Mass Effect and writing
Not that there's much writing in these. I could do plain text fanfiction but it's a lot more fun using pictures ![]()

My Sentinel traveled through the Omega-4 Relay. No Collectors survived. Told The Illusive Man to shove it and destroyed the Collector Base. Even the Cerberus cheerleader Miranda agreed with that choice.
Traveled to a remote space station full of 'Heretics' as Legion calls them. I was given a choice to either destroy them or rewrite them. It was a tough call; Legion's higher runtimes were split 573 for rewriting, and 571 for destroying. I figure majority rules and decided to rewrite them.
Then I reset my powers so I have a fresh slate for whenever I import the save into ME3. I shopped around for some souvenirs for my cabin. Gave Anto some messages intended for Ish; apparently Ish never heard of Omega's one rule: Don't f--- with Aria.

@Swobyj all you said is true, only for a certain Shepard. Mass Effect was always presented as an RPG game. Shepard's character, internal rules and motives were to be defined by the player. Take that very situation, for example. Right before making the choice, Shepard's words can be "I came here to destroy the base but if you have other suggestions, I'll listen" or something like that, implying that he fine with not destroying the base. Furthermore, voicing a conflict with his own moral codex out loud makes no sense. The people around him have no idea of what the rules are. Shepard's line should've been the same he says when saving the rachni queen in ME3 - "She's (It is) too valuable an asset to lose".
He's just having a back and forth on the decision, instead of being so direct about a choice like ME1 Shepard. I really didn't have any problem with it.

Javic mentioned that a powerful biotic used to stay here and that she sought revenge against Cerberus and never got to fulfill that wish. He said he hopes he fairs better under my command. Ensign prangley died as we escaped grissom academy. Padok Wiks asked Eve how krogan mate and told me he and mordin had a fight and that he knew he died on collector base. Liara sat on Ben Shepards lap.

Replayed the end because I installed the EC.
Had fun in the Cerberus Headquarters, killed Kai.
Fought through London, said my goodbyes, fired some missiles, ran towards the Citadel beam, told Kaidan I'll always love him, shot the Illusive man, sat down with Anderson, destroyed the Reapers, breathed and presumably lived.
Started ME1 again for a new Trilogy playthrough to countermeasure my grief (yes, the ending was still damn sad).
Joker and Kaidan told me the Captain is waiting.

Well today Tyson took Mordin and Thane aboard a collector ship (chose the revenant) and escaped a Collector trap killed some of Harbinger's minions and then yelled at TIM

Afterwards he went to Omega where he helped Samara track Morinth down and put an end to Morinth. Then Tyson traveled to the Citadel where along with Thane stopped Thane's son Kolyat from assasinating a corrupt Turian politician but Shepard put the politician down himself because he had observed him and his body guards harassing human owned businesses and incite anti-human sentiment.
While still on the citadel Tyson helped Garrus track down and kill Sidonis avenging his betrayal and getting justice for his squad on omega.
Tyson is now resting in his quarters aboard the Normandy for tomorrow is going to be a busy day for him. It is going to be a Krogan day.

So tonight, the other half:
- Rescued Tali
- Didn't get that blokes body back (they need it for research apparently)
- Helped out Emily Wong
- Became a Spectre
- Recruited Wrex
- Got bored of Anderson talking about his failed spectre mission
Turning out to be a very weird mix of paragon, nuetral and renegade

Morticia Shepard

Its good to see Earth. Home Sweet Home.
The main event. The beam run. Everyone changes into a t-shirt, shorts and running shoes. On your mark. Get set. GO! I take the early lead. What? That guy wants to pass me on the left. Not today pal. Haha. Yes. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. That's right. I won. Up the beam I go.
Anderson and TIM argue about some crap
I take the elvator up to the penthouse suite
What is this? A ghost. There's something strange in the neighborhood. Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! I call Bill Murray and ask him to bring his friends to get rid of this thing
As I shoot the tube, I think of me, myself and the chess girl.
It's a nice day. Just sitting here in Vancouver having drinks with someone and waiting for Bioware to call me up

Padok wiks got shot... too bad he was a lot more interesting than Mordin was. Kirahee died saving the salarian counselor. Edi shot Ashley (I was hoping Liara would but either way she wont be annoying me again). I felt merciful after so much killing so I let filaire live alone at the monastery since I saw notes that morinth was trying to contact her. My EMS suddenly jumped by 14700 when I opened Hackets message about n7 spec ops

Got my first mission from Anderson and went to Eden Prime with Kaidan and Jenkins, who got shot.
Met Ashley and was mean to her.
Opened a door to find Dr. Warren and her crazy assistent, who is not crazy at all and actually tells the truth, but we don't know that yet. Punched him unconscious.
Shot a few Geth and Husks, found out Saren killed Nihlus, dismantled some bombs, got too close to the beacon.
Woke up on the Normandy and flew to the Citadel.
Good times!

I finished up ME2, losing Mordin and Tali on the final mission.
I started ME 3, and just finished Mars and getting Liara on the team. They haven't moved EDI's AI into that robot-thingy yet, so I am not too far along.
I think I am going to replay ME2 so I can keep Mordin and Tali alive. If I recall correctly, they can play pretty large roles in ME3.
I love ME2 and ME3. I played the initial entry, and although the story is pretty good, I never bothered finishing, because I had already played ME2 and ME3 prior to purchasing ME1.

A new console could only keep me away from my favorite game for so long.
Today I continued my quest for 100% achievements for ME2, with only "Insanity" to go. Not too much progress as I'm a little rusty and it's a little hard to jump back into the highest difficulty, but it all came back eventually.
John Shepard
Colonist, War Hero, Infiltrator
Today John decided to help Garrus get a little revenge. After several alternate universes where he was gunned downed by lowly Blue Sun mooks and mechs, he got his groove back and continued to carve a path towards Harkin. Turns out, the Widow is still a beast of a gun no matter what difficulty, and some maxed out disruptor ammo sure helps with those mechs, shields, and YMIRS. Tali distracting everyone with an exploding drone, and Garrus knocking everyone down with concussion shots also helped a lot in giving Shep breather room and time to recharge.
Eventually he made it to Harkin and got Sidonis right where Garrus wanted him. However, Shepard wasn't convinced that Garrus executing Sidonis was what was best and talked him out of it. They went back to the ship and with everyone's mind's clear, it was time to get that Reaper IFF. What's that Kelly? Who is this "Jacob" you speak of? Ugh, well I guess there is one last loyalty mission before I start the endgame.

they do but mordins replacement is quite entertaining and not having tali allows other squadmates to get some love. Try it without them once it makes the game more interesting
