Food is for the weak. You should get a drip installed and a plastic bottle for waste.

I'm only eating since I haven't eaten since this morning and after this it will be at least 12 hours before I eat again. For the drip and plastic bottle, I'll go when a cutscene I can't skip happens. I feel at the rate I'm going I will have all three games done in under 20 hours.

Does a Kegerator count?

Rescued the Primarch, saved a turian platoon, disabled a giant bomb, and cured the genophage. In between, raided a Cerberus lab for Reaper tech, evacuated civilians on Benning, and investigated a weird mining colony in search of Leviathan.

Did some shopping on the Citadel (yay fish!) but didn't meet up with anyone or go talk to Aria. Haven't talked to anyone on the ship either, even though Traynor keeps bugging me every time I enter the CIC. Never got the Grissom mission as a result of ignoring her, so I expect phantom Jack to finally make an appearance. The only other time I didn't do Grissom was my first ME3 game where Jack was carried away by seeker swarms during the SM.

Up next: the salarian councilor wants to talk about Udina......

Just finished ME1 in 5 3/4 hours. Playing on insanity mode and died only once because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing.  I didn't recruit Wrex, let the council die and made Udina councillor.

So now I will start ME2 in a few minutes.

I'm using my main femshep, Elizabeth Nancy Shepard. A very ruthless, earthborn soldier.

Good Luck. I could never do it, although the first time I played ME1 I finished it in 27 hours over two days. I missed a lot of the side stuff, and I had terrible equipment at the end because I was always broke.

Today I helped Aria take back Omega. I'm playing a paragon shep but I did things her way. I figure it's sort of in-character since I took an awful lot of renegade interrupts in ME2, and Shep might need a few renegade points later in the game.

.

Thanks

Just finished ME2 in 6 1/2 hours on insanity. I got lucky on a lot of missions without dying. And for the first time Mordin survived hold the line. I had Jacob, Zaeed loyal and Garrus ,Grunt, and Mordin non loyal and all survived. Cool. So I will have some breakfast and start ME3. So I have roughly 10 1/2 hours to do ME3. No sweat.

I'm currently watching an Engineer Shepard playthrough of ME2 and ME3 on YT and it never ceases to amaze me just how boring a class can be made to look by Youtubers. It reminds me of back in the day when I first watched a playthrough of a Vanguard Shepard and it looked like a borefest, it actually put me off the class until I one day decided to try it out myself.

It was the same with the Engineer, I put off playing it because it looked as if it sucked until I made one a few days ago in ME2 and realised that no, it was the person I was watching who sucked and who was playing it wrong. Constantly hiding behind cover when the Engineer can easily be played as aggressively as a Vanguard, only popping their head out to shoot their guns, two very heavy guns, the Crusader and Collector rifle, which crippled their cooldowns. The person barely used their powers, it was ridiculous.

Seriously, it takes a special kind of skill to make a Vanguard and Engineer look boring. Everyone with this skill seems to congregate to YT.

Vanguards are hilariously good fun. I think my favourite class (especially by the time ME3 comes round), just so overpowered it's brilliant.

I did a vanguard run of ME3 once, on insanity. It was good fun, but so ridiculously easy.

"Oh... my shields are down" --> Charge. Screw it that you're already inside the face of your enemy. Just press the button.

"Hey, my shield are up!" --> Nova. Charge. Nova. Charge. Nova. Charge. Nova. Charge.

(get Flare for bonus power for added laughs)

Ugh, yikes, burdened Engineers. That class is legit (although what Shepard isn't?), the Tech Vulnerability on Sabotage pretty much allows them to rip through bosses like tissue paper. Even the drones do a lot of damage. My Engineer is the second class I'm playing through in a series of no bullets/direct damage powers, melee runs. She does pretty well for herself, using drones to deal damage and distract while sneaking up close to beat them over the head with fiery fists.

Being an engineer is great. I have on a few missions not fired my weapon at all. I just stay in cover and let the sentry turret and combat drone do all the work.

Finally finished ME3 in 5 1/4 hours.

Started at 1750 yesterday playing ME1 and finished at 1540 today with ME3. So a total of 17 1/2 hours to play all three games with 4 hours down time.

Fun or not it's an accomplishment. Am picturing Keanu Reeves opening his eyes, blinking rapidly a few times and saying, "I know kung fu  I just stopped the reapers." *

* - Unless themikefest picked refuse, that is.

Today I rescued Eve from Sur'Kesh. Sure glad shep was too tempting a target for the end-boss 'Mech and he didn't fire those rockets directly at the containment pod the whole time...

No. I didn't pick refuse. Destroy is my ending.

... and was it fun?

Not really. It was very gruelling playing on insanity mode for all three games and be able to finish them in the times I did.

Let me guess... There was no time to waste.

Stopped the Cerberus coup. Kirrahe saved the salarian councilor and Kaidan took out Udina. Inviting him back to the Normandy is probably the last time anti-social Shepard will talk to him.

Next up: probably the asari monastery so I can get the second 5% store discount and finally level up my guns. On a whim I decided to play hardcore instead of normal like I usually do. I actually had to recheck my game options a couple of times because it was feeling a bit too easy (hello BPP for me and Typhoon for James and Garrus). Not sure I want to do insanity again, though after MP it would probably feel easy too.

I've decided to finally start my Canon Shepard play through. I've mostly been messing around these past years but with the trilogy now complete its time to finally get it done. Normally I've just been sticking to the biotic and tech classes, and the Spacer+ War Hero boy scout combo, but this time, I'm just going to be a normal guy, no biotics and tech, just a Soldier, born on my home, Earth, someone relatable, unlike my previous Shepard's who were basically just fantasies.

I'm really looking forward to this trilogy play through, though it may be awkward to be playing without any biotic or tech powers for a short time.

Shep: Good luck.

Grunt: I don't need luck. I have ammo.

Soldier shep is fun too :)

Let's see, today I heard Cerberus was attacking civilians on Benning so I went there and killed all their guys.

Then I heard Cerberus was getting into some mischief on Tuchanka, so I went there and killed all their guys.

Now, since I'm here already I may as well rescue the primarch's kid.

10 minutes into my Soldier and it's my new favourite class, but not for the reasons you would expect. Usually when starting a new character in ME1 I have 4 playthroughs, 3 MQ only and 1 full play through in order to max out my Charm and Intimidate in the first 3 so that I can make any decision I want in the 4th, but with the Soldier, that it no longer necessary.

Unlike other classes, the Soldier can afford not to take a bonus power, leaving 12 free points unused which would otherwise have been spent on a bonus power. This means that this time I just need two play throughs, 1 MQ only and 1 full one, instead of my usual 4 because I can easily max out my Charm and Intimidate with my spare points.

The downside to this is that I will have to resort to the Therum XP glitch in order to reach level 60 in 2 play throughs but it will take far less time than playing through the MQ an additional 2 times. Man I love the Soldier.

I found the Soldier class fairly dull to be honest.

Soldier class is better in ME3 because then they get a damage power carnage like the other classes, and can spam it in combat (along with the bonus power) like the other classes. At least, that's the way I ended up playing my solider.

Today I freed Chairman Burns from a gang of biotic extremists, a bunch of whom I unfortunately had to put down. Had agree with the extremist though, you write a bunch of letters and protest peacefully and everyone ignores you.

Rescued Ann Bryson, released the rachni queen (again), and found a prothean in a pod.

I thought they were pretty fun in ME2, which was the only time Shepard benefited from using a full range of weapons.

Revenant/Viper/Scimitar for life.
