Got the IFF 

 

Suicide mission went according to plan. 6 dead. They will not be honored in my empire

me: I'm not worried. I'm not doing a low ems run, so it doesn't matter.

Renegade  Shepard on insanity...

 

Started space exploration by gathering resources off planets and Shepard came across an Exogeni scientist facility but it was abandoned. In the nearby mine shaft, Shepard discovered an area full of husks. The crew went in all guns blazing and managed to kill two husks. There was horde of husks encroaching to Shepard's position so he had to retreat out of the mine . He re-entered and slowly killed the husks one by one by escaping and re-entering. Shepard managed to kill all the husks eventually and it turns out that this was all caused by unearthing an artefact.

 

Travelled to a nearby system as Helena Blake wanted some criminals removed. Shepard tried to kill the mercs in the mine but he isn't ready to do this yet (died a couple of times more ).

 

Shepard refocused by starting the Feros quest. He went to Feros to investigate the Geth and nothing else. If the colonists need any help with a problem then perhaps they should speak to Fai Dan. The Geth were encountered straight away and Tali's hacking ability and shotgun were a big help. The Geth were cleared out and Shepard travelled to the Geth main encampment in the Mako. There was some comm chatter on the way but Shepard's sole focus is on the Geth. Therefore, the comm chatter was ignored and Tali agreed as she said "dealing with the Geth is more important". Eventually, Shepard came across a woman who nearly killed him with a stray bullet. Lizabeth gave information about the Thorian and then she fled the scene . Lizabeth has a gun and she didn't fire one shot on the approaching varren.

 

Shepard unlocked the singularity skill (I thought this would have helped in the coming battle  ) and the varren tore him to pieces.

 

(Shepard has died a lot on this playthrough so far. I don't know how I managed to get the insanity achievement before )

Hackett: How you doing Shepard? I mean I sent you to help a friend and you end up destroying a system.

me: Kenson was indoctrinated so I killed her and her group

me: Since you're currently suffering from 'Cat got your tongue' syndrome, let me tell you something. Since Cerberus has brought me back to life, I've be reading fanfic on the extranet about me. I have to say some are....very interesting, but one sticks out the most. Its your death. After the reapers are defeated, your body is discovered by the police. Apparently you were brutally murdered. In fact the investigator said its the worst crime scene he's ever seen. Here's the good part. There's no leads, but a rumor has it that I, Commander Shepard, played a role in your death. You should read that. I couldn't stop laughing.

Hackett: I'm I suppose to be amused by that Commander?

me: If you want. Still I like to know why you gave my dogtags to an alien? Of course you don't have to tell me, just know that I'm very upset that you did. We will talk again. Now get off my ship.

 

What a loser. I might as well head to Earth and take a 6 month vacation.

Returned to ME3 playthrough after a short break and saved some invincible civilians on Benning. Will try to save Mordin tomorrow

Recruited Kasumi and met that al-Jilani woman again. She's got nerves. Punched her again somehow.
Went inside the Dark Star Lounge for a quick check, bought the Brandy for Dr. Chakwas and ended up having a weird green drink. Didn't think I could meet the Council sober. Thought about dancing a bit too, but I know I look stupid doing that.
Took the Rapid Transit to the Presidium, had a veeery nice chat with the Council in which they told me they don't believe me about the Reaper threat at all. They said they can't help our cause, but as a sign of good faith they'd reinstate my Spectre status. I told them to stick their offer up their a**es.

Then Udina barged in, real happy to see that one...
Had a chat with Anderson afterwards, asked him about Kaidan. He's on a special mission, that's all I'm allowed to know. Really wanted to see him.
Also asked Anderson how the Citadel dealt with all that happened and how he is doing.
 

Went to Omega after that, recruited Zaeed, met Helena Blake, met Fist, met with Aria T'Loak and signed up with the mercs to get Archangel out of there and recruit him for my squad. My old buddy Garrus got badly wounded. But I made him laugh and we had a bit of banter when he first showed up with his poor damaged face on the Normandy. Happy to have him back! Just like old times.

Since I last posted here Tyson shot Udina, welcomed Kaidan back to the Normandy, said his final goodbyes to Thane, took out some Cerberus grunts on Noveria, and helped the Quarians take out a Geth dreadnaught.

It's been a little over three months. It may or may not be a new personal record for time lapsed between travels in the Mass Effect 'verse. It's been long enough

 

Thanks to a devil on my shoulder, I can no longer resist the pull. I must play the game again. Have left my current Dragon Age Inquisitor -- for a day or two --in the middle (last-third) of her journey to get re-acquainted with my other favourite gaming pastime. I'll try and alternate between the two for a while and see how it goes. I know I won't be able to resist the DAI pull for long either because there are still dragons to kill, for one thing  

 

And so, I present Commander Jane Shepard: Alliance Marine (rank N7), orphan of the ill-fated Mindoir colony, sole survivor of a thresher maw attack that wiped out her whole squad, second-in-command of the SSV Normandy, Spectre candidate, BMF.

Her journey begins onboard the Normandy, approaching the human colony of Eden Prime. Officially a shakedown mission, to put the new jointly-built human-turian warship though her paces. But there is something about this mission that gives her an uneasy feeling down her spine. Her pilot is nervous, her navigator is distrustful, her newest corporal is excited and her doctor is unflappable as always. There is a Council Spectre onboard as well, a fact of which everyone else on the ship seems quick to remind her. A turian, Nihlus. Did she trust him? The first contact war didn't end all that long ago, but that didn't mean anything. When it came to aliens, Jane liked to keep an open mind.  

 

She was right to be uneasy. The mission was no simple shakedown cruise after all. The turian and her Captain, David Anderson, Hero of the First Contact War, and once a Spectre hopeful himself, told Jane that the Normandy was being sent to retrieve a Prothean beacon, unearthed during a planned colony expansion. Sounded easy enough. But wait! It appears Eden Prime is under attack, by Lord only knows what. The brief transmission revealed a massive -- and creepy -- enemy ship that seemed intent on wiping out the entire colony!

 

Well...

 

We'll just see about that.

Yup. I've been staying right away from the ME forums while I played Inquisition to avoid the temptation. But I miss the regulars here too, who either didn't make the journey to DAI, or have long since returned here ahead of me. You know who you are  ... but I've been playing practically nothing else but Inquisition for the last three months, I don't want to burn out on that either, so it's time for a little variety.

Kathy Shepard - ME3 - The Banana Effect: Slip, Slide and Die playthrough

 

 

Right on time. I knew James would open the door. What a pathetic salute? I should make him drop and give me 100. Oh that's right. The Alliance or maybe I will call them Congress, took away my rank and locked me up for 6 months. I believe I will just ignore everyone at the beginning. I'll deal with Anderson at the end and the committee, well who cares. They will be dead in a few minutes.

 

I see Ashley. Wow. She let her hair down and got a......job. Unprofessional. Put your hair back in a bun Williams. 

 

And here's Mr. Reaper to fire its laser killing the commitee. Now I got to put up with what's his name for the next few minutes. I will save myself the trouble and jump right too Mars.

 

Ashley: Why is Cerberus here?

me: They're after the plans. Don't worry Williams. Cerberus will be defeated near the end. You know what? You will be with me when that happens

Ashley: Again with the pyschic abilities? 

me: Yes. In a short time you will be seriously injured. You won't be able to go to Palaven and Sur'Kesh with me.

James: What are you talking about?

I see Liara. Yeah you claimed to have discovered plans that can wipeout the reapers, except you never did. You and I will talk later. I want to get through this mission very quickly. Its done. I hung up on TIM, Ashley got injured, I shot a robot and I gave the bird to the hologram calling itself Hackett.

 

Now to go see Ashley and then see the council.

Well, John S-117 Shepard did this today: 

 

1. Saved a human colony form a terrorist scumbag.

2. Saved a other colony form some geth and some big plant thing.

3. Went to an Ice world and battled some bugs and killed Saren's 2nd in command. 

                     And...  

4. John S-117 Shepard went on a asskicking spree around the galaxy for 2 hours.

 Renegade Shepard ...

 

Shepard started in the middle of the Feros mission surrounded by Varren. He dispatched all the enemies without dying! . There was some data hanging around and now Shepard knows all Exogeni's secrets. The Geth's ship became unattached to the tower as one of the claws broke off and the ship crashed down to the surface below. It was discovered that Zhu's Hope is where the Thorian is so Shepard had to return all the back to the colony. Lizabeth hitched a ride back (despite being unhelpful) and she then ran away to see some people. Shepard discovered a group of people and he intimidated someone called Jeong to shut him up. Shepard then tried to escape this group of people but the shutters were locked down (apparently Juliana wanted a word  ). Juliana had a bright idea to save the colonists but Shepard isn't in a helping mood and declined to do it. Juliana then gave Shepard the grenades anyway so apparently she doesn't take no for answer.

 

Back at Zhu's Hope, there are Thorian creepers everywhere and infected colonists. Shepard's solution is to kill everything in sight and there was no colonist survivors.

 

It was time to investigate the Thorian and the crew came across more creepers and a regurgitated asari. The asari wanted to speak and Shepard's renegade reply option was "I'LL DESTROY YOU". So he may have picked up this phrase from fighting enemy mercs  (... but he didn't actually say this phrase).

The tactics used against the Thorian creepers were to fling them off the sides with biotics. Shepard got to the last node and the asari killed him  (I thought I was going to get away with a day when Shepard doesn't die but not today) 

 

Shepard eventually beat the asari and the Thorian was defeated. Shepard now has the cipher and he executed the asari. The Geth lost interest in the area so Shepard could move on. He left Feros and Juliana had to relocate her people. Back on the Normandy, Shepard tried to explain to the Council what happened. It ended with a disconnection.

Sabotaged the genophage cure and saved Mordin Hackett's comment about him is hilarious Also found out that Liara doesn't read her own terminal. Otherwise she would not have talked about Mordin as if he's dead

So, Shep is just a bit confused about a couple of things.

 

Why does Liara have eyebrows?

 

Who the hell thought that allowing the Blue Suns (criminal mercs) to run a prison ship was a good idea?

 

These actually do require answers.

 

Didn't have enough paragon points for geth/quarian love fest so had to reload. Bugger.

 

Kaidan wants to take it slow - a sanity check. It's going to drive Shep crazy.

Had brief chats with Kasumi and Zaeed and Jacob. Learned about Miranda's father and how she was created. I'm warming up to her and pity her a bit. Also talked to Garrus before he returned to his very important work.

Fed my fish and checked on Space Hamster 3 times.

Gave our cook the ingredients, but denied his food offer.

Went to see Dr. Chakwas and shared that brandy I brought with her. She told me a story about Kaidan and Jenkins, and the real reason why she is on board, to take care of Joker and help him with his illness. Such a lovely person. We had a toast to our friends. Maybe we overdid it. My vision was blurry and I found Dr. Chakwas asleep.

Sobered up, became the krantt for the Patriarch on Omega, killed some mercs, delivered a datapad to Aria and received some cashe coordinates from her.

On to the Quarantine Zone where I shot my way through to Mordin Solus. Will look for his assistent Daniel next.
