Finally resumed my Bulletless Soldier after a week off. I was a little rusty at first. I forgot my button mappings and kept using the wrong power; it got me killed. Then I just played very poorly and got killed another time. Then I sucked a little less and made some significant progress.

 

Bulletless Soldier Shepard rescued Admiral Korris, then fought her way through a Geth Base, laser-targeted a Reaper Destroyer a few times, then yelled at the Quarian Admiralty Board until they stopped firing so they broker peace with the Geth.

 

The Asari Councillor wants to meet about something, but before she does, Bulletless Soldier rescued a Turian Platoon and then stopped Cerberus from detonating a rather large bomb on Tuchanka. Lieutenant Victus died, but whatever.

Talked to Jack, who was grateful for letting her check the files Cerberus had on her. She might be crazy, but I have the feeling we'll be getting along well.

Kenneth and Gabby were looking for FBA couplings to make their work easier. Took Jack and Miranda to Omega and got the couplings. Also investigated about fish. Had to disappoint a krogan that no fish are in Citadel waters.

Returned to the Normany, gave Kenneth and Gabby the couplings and played a game of Skyllian-Five poker with them. Made 500 credits.

After that it was time to go see Okeer on Korlus. Dealt with some Blue Suns mercs (seems they're everywhere) and met a tank bred krogan on the way. Asked him to join me but he denied.

Finally reached the research base after loads more fighting and met Rana Thanoptis again. Knowing how I handle things she ran away.

Talked with Okeer, who stood next to a tank with a krogan inside. Okeer will only help me if I take down Jedore, leader of the Blue Suns camp on Korlus.

Nice person that I am I did take care of her and her little toys. Okeer died in the process, but I now have a tank with a perfect krogan.

Back on the Normandy I decided to open the tank. Taking all the help I can get. The krogan slammed me into a wall, but in the end I persuaded Grunt to fight for my cause.

Kelly informed me that TIM wants to talk with me. He tells me about a Collector attack on the colony Horizon, and that Kaidan is there as well. I still wonder about his mission and hope to see him.

Arrived at Horizon with Miranda and Jack (surprised they're not scratching each other's eyes out yet ), investigating the colony, which was already attacked by the Collectors. There are a lot of people in stasis.

Fought some Collector enemies, husks and a thing called Harbinger. He's a baddy allright.

Reached a garage at some point, where I meet the mechanic Delan, who tells me about the attack and seems pissed about the Alliance interference. Learned that Kaidan helped set up some defense towers, but Delan doesn't believe this is the main reason he's here. Asked Delan to join me on my way, then after him refusing I told him he'd only get in my way anyway. Left the garage and fought another wave of Collectors before continuing my way to the Starport.

 

 

And now it's past 3am and I should really sleep (need to get up early)

Sabrina helped Thane with his son.  Loyalty earned.  Helped Jack with her past.  Messed up ****.  Loyalty earned.  Helped Zaeed to an extent but saved the people instead of helping him get Vido, go after him yourself motherf-er.  Lucky for him, or not, Sabrina lifted the beam off of him.  She doesn't like him at all. 

 

I bought the dlcs for Shadow Broker and Kasumi today. 

 

Sabrina helped Liara take down the Shadow Broker.  Wow it was so labor intensive for only 1000 experience points.  Lots of warm fuzzy feelings when around Liara.  Sabrina friend zoned her when they worked together before but she has memories of a past life where she romanced her. 

 

Sabrina and Garrus flirted and he mentioned interspecies intercourse and I about spit out my drink.  Love him.  Sabrina thinks Thane is sexy, but she loves Garrus as a friend and lover both.

Today Tyson went to an Ardat-Yakshi monestary and fought some bashees, stopped Samara from shooting herself, and then he went a few relay jumps over and saved Jacob and a ton of ex-cerberus from cerberus.  Then he went to the citadel and bought himself a shiney new wraith shotgun.  Oh and he also called blasto a big stupid jellyfish.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that leaving the detonator in the hands of an indoctrinated Ardat-Yakshi is not the best idea?

I like how the 'detonator' looks like the shotgun smart choke.

 

Not to mention the power amp/generator things in Jacob's LM or Jacks recruitment look like the shotgun shredder mod.

Today I was bored of DA:I not releasing a new patch to fix a critical gameplay bug, and finally decided to return to ME3MP and give a serious try to the Phoenix Vanguard (on Silver...I'm too rusty for Gold right now, and anyway I hate having to worry about sync-kills every single minute).

 

Turns out it's pretty sweet Normal "Charge + Talon shot to the face" routine against normals and elites, and +50% Damage during 7 secs Smash + Talon from medium distance against bosses (and, as a bonus, it primes them for Tech detonations which you can detonate with Charge. A routine I've adopted is Smash - 2 Talon shots waiting for cooldown - Charge - 2 Talon shots - R&R). Ended up 1st in all the 6 or 7 battles I've had.

Thought I'd try a Manshep.. not sure whether to play him though, it just feels... wrong.

Renegade Shapard is still trying to get to Peak 15. I didn't use a manual save because I was stubborn. It was going well as he got all the way to Rift Station. Shepard went to the Hot Labs to initiate the Neutron Purge. After doing this, the room filled up with Rachni and he got killed

 

The load afterwards was at the familiar place ...    

 

(So I am definitely using the manual saves on the way up this time)

....I think I've also made a TGI ragequit with my Pink Melee-exclusive Krogan Vanguard It was fun to have the other two players (a Geth Trooper and a Volus ...don'tknowwhat) following me all around most of the game while I did most of the killing. Felt like a very, very wrong mafia boss

Of course, Revka couldn't get a frak out of the cylon copy except for some info on Fade and Mouse.. so she went ahead to the Presidium, get herself Spectre-ify and then she glare at the back of Anderson's head for sending her ex to a Cerberus-Collectors' trap. Since she couldn't find her lover boy, she drown herself with ryncol and Thane reminded her about Kolyat so she move on. Thane suddenly look yummy.. no, Revka, remember those spycams on Normandy!

check the settings and adjust the keys. I reset some of ME1's controls to suit the ME2 and ME3's gameplay. Though I still press reload button subconsciously.

^^ This made me laugh because of the "peek" pun (because I am on Peak 15). Nevermind

 

I might as well rename renegade Shepard to Fail Shepard today  ...

 

I manually saved 10 times to work myself to Peak 15 and Rift Station. Shepard has been trying to initiate the neutron purge but the room of Rachni to the elevator is a pain. I tried different approaches like sprinting to the elevator or killing Rachni to thin the horde. Still no success after a lot of tries.

 

I reloaded an earlier save (one before the Hot Lab save) and went to Benezia first. Shepard got killed by Geth snipers and Commando Biotics on numerous attempts.

 

Therefore Shepard is currently stuck in Noveria and has been for the past few days . Still going to persevere with the insanity difficulty though.

I honestly admire your patience

 

Haaaaa, today didn't go so well for Shep, Miranda and Jack.

Died so so many times trying to defend the Starport, there's so few places to take cover, and the husks, oh God, the husks. They swarmed me every single time.

After many re-loads I finally got all of them down, and one of the scions that was left would've taken probably only 1 more shot... and I died. AAAARGFGHGFHG.

Aaaanyway, after a few more tries I finally managed. Thank God it auto-saved before the Praetorian. We'll pretend it went well

 

 

Defeated waves and hordes of enemies at the Starport, defended the tower by defeating a lot of Collectors including good old Harbi again, and I already tasted victory, when an enemy called Praetorian shows up. Three Barriers later we finally took that thing down for good.

After the Collector ship retreated, the mechanic dropped by and rages some more about the whole Collector attack. I told him that I did everything I could.

Then a surprise waited for me. Kaidan approaches. Delan makes a sarcastic comment about him and leaves.

Meeting Kaidan didn't quite work out as well as I'd expected. There's a lot of hurt in him. He accuses me of acting like nothing happened, and asks why I didn't contact him even though I was alive. I tell him that I've spent 2 years in a coma while Cerberus rebuilt me. And here we go. He is definitely p*ssed that the rumors about me and Cerberus are true. I tell him that it's in both our interests to save human colonies, and that I don't answer to them. He doesn't take it to well. The man I call my friend doubts where my loyalties lie. I try to convince him to join my cause, but as expected he will not side with Cerberus and leaves.

I regret we left things like that, but now is not the time to resolve this. I have to think of the mission before everything else.

Radioed Joker to get us off this damn colony.

The Illusive Man let slip that he was the one who leaked the rumors about me and Cerberus (Thanks, TIM!), and I received more dossiers from him.

 

 

Btw I really wish the devs would have had Kaidan somehow join the fight against the Collectors during this stage, it just seems so funny he only shows up after I cleaned up the place. Like he waited until everything's safe and then come out

me: Quarian fleet. Fire on the reaper.

James: Oh he** yeah. That's what I'm talking about. 

 

destroyer: Shepard. You may of defeated me, but there are many more.

me: Yeah, yeah. You know what? You're pathetic just like the rest of your kind. 

destroyer: Harbinger will get you.

me: You will never know. He and I had a chat about that 6 months ago. Why don't you think about that?

destroyer: You will not succeed.

me: Whatever. You can go ahead and die now.

 

GethVI: The old machine is dead. I could use the upgrades to make the geth a people.

me: Is that machine humor?

gethVI: We do not understand?

me: If you get the upgrade, what happens to the Quarians?

gethVI: They need to be eliminated. They attacked us first

me: I see. Admiral Raan? Will you take care of my light work?

Today we 'helped' Feros and the colonists. "Everybody wants something. Make it quick." Shep helped them out with things like water and blowing up geth tech, and got a nice stack of credits for his troubles. They encountered a man named Ian down in the tunnels, who seems to be a little crazy in the coconut. Perhaps the geth did it? Why else would they leave him alive? 

 

The team headed through the Prothean skyway, eventually stumbling on an area blocked by some energy field. Apparently it's the sort that neither a tech expert nor a biotic can punch through. They'll do this the hard way! Shep noticed a tunnel, at which point Ashley said "One way drop, Commander." Seriously? I think Shep could give you a boost and then you could pull him up. Or hey, we could make it really fun and do a (mostly) human pyramid.  They met a daft scientist named Lizbeth, who shot at them because she thought they were varren.  Now, Shep realises that colonies can be weird places, but he hasn't seen varren walking around in armour and toting guns. So this lady is clearly derrranged. Seems to be a common theme on Feros!

 

There was a krogan experiencing some serious frustration with a machine (I feel your pain, dear!). Shepard helped alleviate his headache by levitating the guy and blasting him out of the air. We then moved on to find Gavin Hossle’s data. Between us and the data was a corridor full of krogan, so Shep started flinging them around with biotics. Unfortunately... the furniture came along for the ride.

So Shepard effectively barricaded himself out! It took several singularities, lifts and throws to get that furniture out of the way... 

 

I’ve just realised by TV works decently with the camera. Not as good as screenshots, but better than the old one. Hmm, maybe I’ll have to fire up my old Sheps for some crappy pics. 

 

Anyway, Shepard cut the geth ship from the side of the building (serves them right for making a ship that looks like a giant flea!). Joker called up to say the colonists had gone all 28 Days Later. Shep advised him to use extreme force if necessary. He’s seen zombie apocalypse films, he knows how this sh*t goes! 

 

The team fought their way through the colonists. A couple were saved, but most died. The salarian merchant was saved because... reasons. Too bad Shep couldn’t kill the ExoGeni scientists instead, they’re the ones who deserve it. They found the Thorian, which vomited up a very smug asari. She’d barely finished talking them Shep threw her over the ledge. Then it was time for eerie music and a zombie uprising. Shep’s covered in green slime and regretting having lunch before he came here. Once the Thorian was finally defeated, his ‘brain was scrambled like an egg’ by the asari, and then he killed her. After that little stunt Benezia pulled, he’s not trusting her lackey. Shiala will probably shoot him the moment he turns his back.

Earlier today Sabrina met Kasumi and helped her steal the graybox.  All the drama was worth it because she got to keep the black dress.  She went around the Normandy talking to everyone and no one mentioned it.  She just stared when Mordin sang the Scientist Salarian song, while I was grinning from ear to ear and shouting "encore!"  Kasumi told Sabrina that Garrus really likes her and that everyone would like to see them together, awww.

 

She has earned the loyalty of everyone except the geth she has not heard about yet, so maybe it's time to go to the reaper thing and get the iff for the I.M.

 

Oh yes, her fish died.  She had been feeding them, but had forgotten to go back to her cabin between helping Liara and helping Kasumi.

KaiserShep was right - there is no stopping the crouch. Shep was just in a mood. Then I thought maybe see how long Shep could stay in a crouch, but he would stand up to talk to people so that wouldn't work.

 

Any time I go back to Origins there's lots of jumping (damn space bar) but thanks aoibh

Bulletless Soldier Shepard went to Thessia:

 1. She ignored the turret (and the Asari screaming at her 'what are you doing?') and took out all the Reapers before they destroyed the barrier.

 2. She made quick work of the Kai Leng idiot, then punched him repeatedly until he finally managed to teleport away to begin the cutscene. Cheater.

 

Bulletless Soldier Shepard then traveled to Sanctuary, killed a bunch of Reaper troops and uncovered a secret Cerberus lab and horrific experiments, then helped Miranda kill her father. Miranda then helped Shepard find Kai Leng and the Illusive Man.

 

Bulletless Soldier Shepard was then feeling a bit tired, so she went to the Sunset Strip to meet up with some squaddies. She blasted some Cerberus goons in the Armax Arena with Jack, did some online shopping with EDI, invited Miranda over for a drink and had a small chat with James.

 

Oh, and Bulletless Soldier Shepard beat James' pull-up record. Only my second Shepard to do so, and my first (and probably only) female Shepard to do it.

 

 

 

 

And I actually completed a mission as a Melee-only Soldier. I should have the video edited and uploaded by tomorrow morning (my time), but hopefully sooner than that. It was request by someone who commented on one of my videos on YouTube. I never want to do that again.
