As promised, here is video of my Tech Armor-detonating Assault Sentinel:

This was very hard to do. Tali's Combat Drone gets the MVP.

Your video showed me an upgrade for the smg that I've never knew was in that location

Tried to start up my Bulletless Soldier playthrough again, but quit after I started having some trouble rescuing some ****** ex-Cerberus scientists. I actually ended up throwing my controller in frustration. That was when I knew it was time to quit. Not my night apparently.

[Dare Shepard finished her suicide run tonight.]

Lost 1 crewman... well, he wasn't really a crewman. Legion. Rest in Peace.

Now Hackett is "upset" with me because I didn't rescue his operative friend. I've been busy defeating the Collectors and he's waxing on about this?! I'm sorry, but I've had enough of doing personal favors for Alliance brass. We have to prepare for the Reapers.

I've been ordered to Earth. Forced leave. Bad idea.

The Alliance is full of it most of the time.

Does anyone here know anything about getting an imported character from ME to ME2. For some reason it is giving me trouble and I didn't find anything terribly helpful in the tech support. I tried the configuration in the ME2 launcher but that isn't working. I don't necessarily want to keep playing characters in ME2 that have already been through ME2.

Help, please. Anyone?

Talked to Thane on board the Normandy asked him about his sickness and his prayers.

Went to Illium again to deliver the data of the Kirosa family to the salarian who seems to be forever on his phone.

Scanned some more planets and then it was time to find Tali.

Landed on Haestrom and found out very quickly that the shadows are your friend.

Killed a bunch of geth, and pushed through until we find a radio. Learned that Tali's crew has been overrun by geth on her mission and that she's safely locked into a room.

The geth blocked my path so I need to find two Demo Charges to clear it.

Fought countless* geth and finally set the Demo Charges to blow up the blockage. Talked to Tali over a comm system.

Overloaded, hacked and killed some more geth and flying drones, making my way to her destination. Finally made it just to see a geth colossus waiting, weren't they fun in the past.

Met up with Kal'Reegar, to whom I've been already talked and we discussed our strategy. I told him to stay out of it, that he has done enough for Tali, and that we will take down the colossus and rescue her.

Progressed through this area killing more geth, and at some point after his shield is gone the colossus just sits there and doesn't attack (I think this was a bug?!), and I slay it with Warp and Incinerate. Boom.

Scavenged the area and finally met Tali again. It is good to see her in one piece. Now that she finished her mission, she is free to join me. I welcome her to my team. Kal'Reegar met up with us and he will leave Haestrom in the quarian ship.

Back on the Normandy she has a bit of a hostile attitude against Cerberus and Jacob, can't blame her and side with her about Cerberus.

Kelly thinks Tali has a thing for me. Nah... or is she? Anyway, I tell Kelly that we're just friends.

Listened to the Grunt's problem and then went to talk to Tali for a bit.

*This is sooo embarassing, but I just kept going at the geth that came out of the door. Some 20+ minutes later I finally got suspicious that they might spawn endlessly, and yeah, well they did. Had no clue that I needed to push further in their direction to keep them from spawning

You can go to MyDocuments into ME2 Save and there create a folder ME1. From your ME1 saves copy your Char--bunch-of-numbers--.MassEffectSave file into the ME1 folder in ME2\Save\ then start up your ME2 game and it should have your save there to import it.

I always do this manually since the ME2 launcher has never worked properly.

Renegade  John Shepard on insanity ...

Shepard started on Virmire and he had to use the Mako to get to the Salarian camp. This trip ended up using a lot of Omni gel for repairs because I started with 400 but ended up finishing with around 30. Wrex wasn't happy but Shepard intimidated him to stand down. The plan was set and Ashley was sent with the Salarian group so that she can start to trust aliens more. Shepard brought along Wrex as part of his team so that he is partly responsible for the destruction of the Genophage Cure facility . Once inside the facility, Shepard cleared out the indoctrinated forces like a group of Salarians and Rana Thanoptis. Found another beacon and spoke to Sovereign.

Shepard got to the bomb site and he was going to make his way to Ashley but the corridor was full of Krogan and Geth. Shepard used a singularity and sprinted past them all to the elevator . Then it was the big decision, Shepard decided to return to the bomb because the facility needed to be destroyed no matter the sacrifice. Shepard had encounter with Saren and won. Kaidan was saved and the bomb exploded. Ashley and Kirrahe died.

It was time for a council debrief and Shepard was calm until the Turian Councillor opened his mouth. "Even a clock is right twice a day" resulted in a disconnection. The next step appears to be the Asari researcher so that the visions can be explained.

Shepard spoke to Garrus and he was unhappy that Dr Saleon had been dealt with without him.  Shepard spoke with him again and Garrus replied that he wanted a word. Shepard said "I've gotta go" and left. It is time to explore the galaxy a bit more before Liara.

First stop is the planet Altahe because a listening post has gone silent. It was overrun with Rachni and Shepard found some coordinates for a ship that was responsible. He found this ship and realised that a group called Cerberus is responsible because they are experimenting on the Rachni. The ship was then blown up for good measure.

The next stop was the planet Nepmos which had another listening post overrun with Rachni. Shepard killed the first couple Rachni with the Mako and got no experience <_<.

He then hooked the Mako to a generator and waited in the nearby cabin until the Rachni waves had passed (he wasn't hiding, he was being resourceful ). The Rachni came from a nearby mine and Shepard defeated the Brood Warriors.

Shepard finished the day by touching down on the planet Chasca in the Mako.

Shepard died twice today; the first was a one shot sniper kill by a Geth, the second was a rocket from a Geth Destroyer.

Edit (for cheap pun): The news is giving the eclipse a lot of coverage today. These mercenaries are a shady group. It was a solar eclipse today for the UK

Sabrina 2 went to Tuchanka and helped Grunt and Mordin with their issues, once again beat the thresher maw (Sabrina keeps it casual)  and everyone is amazed.  So much easier to survive 4 minutes if it is dead.  Sent that scout back to the scout master with some tough love.  Mordin killed Maelon and kept his research but set it aside back on the Normandy SR2.

Flirted with Kelly, imagined we had dinner, and she offered to feed Sabrina's fish.  Sabrina still feeds them anyway.

Sent to the Collector Ship, survived and came out mad.     Setting course for Omega to deal with Samara's oldest child.

ME2 is certainly making life hard. For some reason Daniel game just does not want to import. So, i'm doing a quick run through with Tom to see if we can get him finished and imported. Then when I want to play 2 I have to uninstall NVIDIA and install Catalyst to run it which will play all games except for DAI. Grrrrrr. Now I find I also have to repair game when I want it to launch. The things we do to play these games. Sigh.

Thanks by the way :P

Picked up where I left off with my Bulletless Soldier. I played much better so no rage quitting today (note: Rage quitting single player is acceptable).

Anyway, Bulletless Soldier managed to rescue some ex-Cerberus eggheads from a Cerberus attack. That made Traynor happy.

And since I had time, I picked up a Prothean popsicle from Eden Prime. Hmmmm, Strawberry.

And oh yeah, Liara is not squishy as some people claim:

Sabrina 2 went to Omega and helped Samara take down Morinth.  She felt bad for Nef's mom.  Sigh.

Then she went to the Citadel and helped Thane and Garrus.   I like Bailey and read a fanfiction about Shepard's little black dress and he was in one of the chapters and I snicker when Sabrina talks to him.  Thane was cool because she didn't lose track of his son and Garrus eventually got to kill Sidonis after she talked to him and he said he wanted to die.

Back to the ship, fed the fish, flirted with Thane.  Sigh.

On to Ilium where Sabrina helped Miranda with Oriana.  Miranda talked to Oriana and Sabrina got an email later about Guardian Angels from Oriana.

Sabrina talked to Thane and they held hands a bit.

On to some place to help Jacob find his father.  That is some weird stuff.  Miranda gave him the intel and IM was not exactly happy but how could he complain when now Jacob is loyal.

When I play next (tomorrow) Will help Jack, recruit Tali, defend her to admiralty board, swoon over Loghain's voice, get the IFF, Legion, and do his mission.   I did not do very many n7 missions with Sabrina 1 so might do more.

Traveled to Alchera to visit the Normandy crash site. Seeing her lying there scattered in pieces wasn't easy.

Put up a monument right next to the piece with her name on it, thought it was fitting to see it there. Reminisced a bit about Ashley, Pressly and Joker while picking up dog tags of all the people that lost their lives on that day.

Returned to the new Normandy and was informed that Garrus wants to see me.

Garrus dumped his request on me to look for the guy who betrayed him. So now you're talking to me? If I hear you saying you're calibrating one more time, I'd seriously consider to not do it! :P

Fed my fish and checked on Space Hamster.

DLC. I have to decide - Lair of the Shadow Broker, Arrival or Overlord. I suppose that LoSB would be rather Liara-heavy? She is not my favourite person, but if the dlc is good enough I might put up with her. Help me out here guys. Which one do I choose? Which one do I choose?

And then, when you get the new Normandy back from the Alliance they'll have the Cerberus people as well as Alliance on the memorial wall. Good for them.

I'm biased but if you haven't got any of the DLC from 2, go for LotSB it's the best of the three, there's some spankingly enjoyable combat.  As for the other two, if you like the Hammerhead go for Overlord, if you want something more tied to the main story arc go for Arrival.

Shadow Broker DLC. You get a respec terminal for you and your team mates. That alone makes it worthwhile, not to mention that it's heller fun.

Plus some nifty upgrades too.

TIM tried to kill Kaidan again and now Revka was all guilty and miserable because she said he's all in the past. Obviously not. We run around Citadel, eavesdropping people, recruiting merc, meet with Kasumi and Miranda etc. Traynor pinged about Grissom Academy and we save Anderson's girlfriend and Jack's biotic kids. Wait, its a proper legit Alliance program? So.. Kaidan is Jack's boss... huh. Then we went to Sur'Kesh, pick up Mordin and rescue Wrex's girlfriend.

and Revka... what did I say about not staring at his nipples... you're so hopeless.... and Alenko, I know you're doing it on purpose. Shameless bastard.
