Screenies for today. Anderson bequeathed Revka his Citadel apartment and she found out that he is way too loaded for a government official. Then she received a message from Joker. Revka walk into the French 'sushi' restaurant with utter skepticism since she prefer the proper Japanese food at Zakera Ward and Kasumi made the best gyoza in the galaxy.

"Pfft, what's wrong with a normal French restaurant?" said the Mindoir-born half-asian half-french Revka Amell Shepard.

Before she could fully judge the fusion food herself, a group of fully shielded mercs decided that the restaurant is the right place to attack the first human Spectre. Revka had some fun energy draining, possessing drones and killing some mercs but when she tried to help the perky Alliance girl, a merc fell from the sky and start to shoot the floor and Revka fell through and nearly died.. fortunately she escape with half of her health bar and PMS-like stomach pain. After she killed through several dozen or so mercs, Kaidan came to rescue only to become mesmerized by Revka's shapely backside and that zipper... before Revka pounce on him, they were ambushed by more mercs and the Tyrannosaurus Wrex came to their rescue in style.

Joker came to their rescue with a convenient kodiak shuttle that disappears until the end of DLC. Back at the apartment the Shadow Broker manage to trace the nice gun back to an arms dealer who runs a casino and he had a charity event that night. Kaidan was willing to come only if Revka would wear her skimpy outfit again. She rebelled and he pouted most of the afternoon until she relented. And he's a happy man again

And its always weird to hear Revka saying the-power-that-be's name when she met Sha'ira. But its less weirder than hearing ME2's Krogan saying that eating Citadel's fish is like screwing her... and scaring the **** out of the-power-that-be.

Unfortunately, they found the owner dead in his panic room but Revka manage to contact the person who wanted her dead and they exchanged insults. The Normandy Crew manage to track the caller to the Citadel Archives. Luckily for everyone (especially Javik), Revka brought everyone along for the trip. Then they're ambushed by a crazy bosh'tet and her minions. Apparently Crazy Bosh'tet want to take over Revka's life and her ship because apparently Revka can't do anything right for humanity because she's surrounded with her trigger-happy with the affinity-for-violence friends.

y5pos6w.jpg

Then Revka remembered something she read on Reddit today, Kaidan tried to reassure her that its not Battlestar Galactica and they've done even more kinky things than that but Rev still went ballistic and attacked Crazy Bosh'tet.

YYO1uBp.jpg

Revka : YOU KICK ME IN THE BOOB! Prepare to die, obviously.

Unfortunately, the Crazy Bosh'tet realized that she's playing for the wrong team but before Rev could rescue her, the poor thing slipped.... because apparently the galaxy can't handle two Revka. Rev think she remembered Rasa's voice from somewhere but that didn't matter. Fortunately for Rasa, Rev manage to talk her down before Kaidan shoot her in the back. Down boy.

Somewhere in the wards, unconscious Crazy Bosh'tet fell through layers of Citadel's kinetic barriers which acts as a cushion for her fall because its a station with gorramn flying cars. People don't even drive well on a normal road, you'd expect me to believe that Citadel have nothing to prevent flying projectiles from hitting the ground. Pfff.... oh and a former Alliance pilot Carth found Crazy Bosh'tet sprawled on his ship and he nurse her back to health but she lost her memory . Carth hid her from everyone and she name herself as Revan and they travel around galaxy finding more adventures and making new friends. Headcanon ftw!

And then at the apartment, Joker suggest that Revka should do a party which she vetoed the idea but Joker invited people already.

"Dude, we don't have Miri yet!" she yelled and Joker shrug her off.

Kaidan asked her out for a dinner but then he changed his mind when he saw what Rev was wearing and decide to cook her the food of his people... of course, the poor guy aren't known to be subtle with a hot girl in Asari consort outfit...

LjpyJHx.jpg

EDI called and she want Rev to accompany her with online shopping. After Rev saved Joker from being a life long debt, EDI gave her a victory ring. It was until waaaay later that Rev realized that the ring is nearly as expensive as the car and the purchase was made under the name of a certain human Spectre. James drop by to show off his tattoo and then found Anderson's exercise equipment. Rev accepted James' challenge and broke his record while wearing a dress! Javik roped Rev into doing a Blasto movie and she played along. Rev helped Traynor win space chess and later she found Zaeed and his new addiction. She found Kasumi infiltrating the casino as if Rev hadn't tried that a couple of nights ago. And Garrus... sigh... Garrus, you're hopeless too. Now where's Tali?

John Shepard

Colonist/Infiltrator/Insanity

With everybody's dysfunctional family issues taken care of, it was time to stop goofing around the galaxy and get that Reaper IFF.  Upon insertion into the derelict Reaper, John pondered whether he would have time before assaulting the Collectors to bring Councilor Airquotes to the wreck for a much deserved "I told you so".  Unfortunately, the shield put a stop to that idea, so on to plan B "Blow that sucker up".  In fact given how often that is the solution to his problems, Shepard wondered why he doesn't just skip the middle man and make "Blow it up" plan A all the time.

However, a funny thing happened on the way to the core.  A Geth N7 cosplayer saved John's life by shooting some husks behind him.  Well, that or the Geth was actually aiming for his head like all the other Geth he's ever met and was such a lousy shot that it missed and hit the husks instead.  However, the ability to speak was intriguing, so he gave the Geth the benefit of the doubt and saved it on his way off the freefalling Reaper.

As it turns out, this Geth is not only intelligent, but friendly (or as friendly as Geth go).  It tells John about the schism between its people, but more importantly, tells him of the Heretic headquarters.  Given all these heretics have done to the galaxy, John decides nows about as good a time as any to make Plan B plan A for once.  Oh, and this Geth considers a Gospel of Mark passage an appropriate analogy for the name "Legion".  Now John isn't entirely sure about this, but he seems to remember from Sunday School that the speaker in said passage was possessed by the demons of Hell.  Probably not a good indicator of this Geth's intentions, but then again, maybe machines don't have a sense of irony.

Anyways, John can't think of a better date to take his girlfriend on then one that potentially involves killing billions of Geth, so he tells Tali to suit up (in retrospect probably a poor choice of words).  When they get there, Legion informed Shepard that they might also be able to rewrite the heretics, however, given that Shepard wouldn't brainwash organics on ethical grounds, and the Geth are dangerous enough divided, he is sticking to Plan A.  The heretics chose their side, and they chose... poorly.  One core meltdown later, everyone escapes to the Normandy, and as they fly away John proudly proclaims "That was for Jenkins you sonova ******!"

Soon after, EDI informs Shepard that the IFF is nearly ready to be installed, so John gets the squad to the shuttle for a little mission.  After all, the installation will only take a bit, and what could possibly go wrong?

Started the Omega DLC with my Bulletless Soldier. I got as far as the command console to shut off the outer defenses, then made a save. Probably a good thing too, because my recording equipment stopped communicating with my (crappy) laptop as soon as I stopped recording. That happens occasionally and it is very annoying.

After restarting my PVR and laptop, I was able to get the recording software to work again (read: my laptop to recognize the external device) and finished the first part of Omega. Now I am ready to fight through Cerberus to get to the Talon leader.

Helped Garrus with going after Sidonis. The trail led from Captain Bailey to a warehouse on the Citadel, where we talked to a volus. We asked questions about a person called Fade and found out that Fade is actually Harkin, that scumbag I met back in Chora's Den.

We should find him in the Factory District, so we headed there and met Harkin right away, then killed off his Blue Suns mercs while he escaped. Followed him through the District, killing off more mercs and hacking mechs, then we eventually arrived at his hiding place. Garrus had his methods to make him cooperate and he agreed to set up a meeting.

I met Sidonis while Garrus waited in position with his sniper rifle. I told Sidonis I'm a friend of Garrus. He begins to back away but I warned him not to move. I kept talking with Sidonis and it's clear the guy's a wreck because of what he did.

Garrus backed off in the end and Sidonis left unharmed. Garrus and I had a brief chat over what happened and made it back to the Normandy.

Pretty overwhelmed by ME3.  I liked the division of missions and assignments in ME2 so to see everything as a mission is ehhh.  And then the wiki is my best friend.

Fuzzy now, but I vaguely remember that Sabrina rescued Eve and met up with Mordin.  They came on board and kicked Dr. C out of the med bay.  Now she sits in the crew cabin and doesn't say more than 2 words to me.

Rescued the Turian Platoon and watched the Primarch's son sacrifice himself.  Yes, he redeemed himself I guess.

Helped the Krogan's and again let the Rachni Queen live to see another day.

Liara mentioned something about having a 1000 year old Prothean to help with the crucible and I went and bought the dlc for Javik.

When I saved last night Sabrina had just gone to Benning.

me: So what kind of music you guys like?

Ashley: I would like some Iron Maiden

Kaidan: How about some Barry Manilow?

me: How about some Ozzy? Lets go crazy. Joker wait till we take out the guns.

Joker: Yes ma'am

Kirrahe: Saren's found a cure for the genophage

me: Really? This place needs to go boom. Do you know if he's here for the video game?

Kirrahe: I don't know anything about a video game.

me: Ok. Before this place goes boom, I need to make sure the video game isn't here

Kirrahe: What's this video game?

me: I can't tell you. It's top secret hush-hush strictly need-to-know

Kirrahe: Yeah sure.

me: You can take Ashley to help you

red hologram: You are not Saren:

me: No kidding. Your powers of observation proceed you hologram.

red hologram: You talk tough little insect. You will never get the device. Your civilizations will be harvested. The cycle will continue

Kaidan: Cycle?

me: I'm now understanding what is going on

Garrus: How about filling us in what's going on?

me: Can't do that. Just know we have to stop this red hologram from harvesting everyone

Saren: You can't win Shepard. You know that

me: I will win. You just have a hard time believing that I can win. You wil not succeed

Saren: I will. Lets end this

me: You look so cute on your floater. I remember watching a spiderman movie and saw a character have something similiar.

Saren: Mine is better. My master is calling me. I have to go

me: Does anybody else smell chicken?

Udina: I'm sorry about Kaidan dying Commander

me: I am too. A good man

Udina: Any updates?

me: Yes. It seems the reapers are the guardians to the video game or as they call it, a device, and once a species finds out about it, the reapers harvest everyone to keep the device safe.

Udina: We have to defeat the reapers before knowing where the video game is

me: Yes. Even if we defeat the reapers, we still won't know where the game is. Maybe the reapers have a homeworld in dark space. It might be there.

Udina: Its possible. Lets worry about that later. Do what you can to stop the reapers Commander.

me: I will. I'm going to locate this asari who might help explain the beacons I've encountered.

Today's screenies.

Revka met with the Councilor Tevos and received a tip about something in Thessia. At the same time, the reapers descended on Thessia and start to massacre everyone. Revka, Liara and Kaidan fought her way to the Temple of Athame and found the scientists who was murdered by Leng Chai. The man himself drop off from a convenient gunship and the old boss want to talk. As usual, Revka argued with TIM and he had it enough and send Leng Chai to do the dirty work. Leng Chai started to talk dirty with Rev and nearly killed her and made her cry when he run off with the ancient VI. Since Kaidan missed seeing Leng Chai at Citadel, now he got some real motivation to kill the guy.

And all the shitstorm started to pile up, everything she's done; leaving earth, leaving every homeworld to burn, politics and gaining allies, friends dying etc for the crucible; was ruined because the ex-boss pull up some d1ckmove on her. Now she started to get pissed at every little things including Joker who wanted to make her feel better with a bad joke because he had issues himself. Even though Revka was all stress hormonal and angsty, she still didn't tell him about the conversation she heard at Huerta Hospital. Later, Rev found Liara getting all glowy at Javik. Thankfully, we didn't bring him along to Thessia since he will be even more condescending to Liara. Kaidan, Garrus and Tali wanted Rev to talk to Liara. Rev managed to make Liara feel a bit better. Because being busy keep you thinking about stuff like dead family members and destroyed home and childhood and stuff... isn't that something Rev know pretty well? ("Mindoir...") Then Rev went back to Engineering and drag Kaidan upstairs for more loving.

Now fully energized, Rev brought Garrus and Kaidan back to Horizon. Apparently, the conspiracy theorists Alliance-hating colony was now a Cerberus nightmare factory, figures. And we saved Miri! ("Joker! Now we can have that party! But only after we see the Leviathans." *Joker groaned*)

Traynor called and asked Rev to check up on Tali.

Rev : Tali, you're drinking my booze and you didn't ask me to join you.
Tali : Pfft...

2HkWDAr.jpg

and we gatecrash someone doing lovey dovey downstairs.

Revka : (blink*blink) Watcha' doin'?

Y3rq4R0.jpg

And Hackett asked the Normandy to wait for a bit while he prepare his fleet to attack Cerberus' crib. Rev went back to Citadel and meet up with some friends, and bail out our Baby Krogan.

H2X9B2m.jpg

and watch a romance movie with Tali.... oh wait, is this Fleet and Flotilla?

9TlvcqR.jpg

note: will be offline until next week. Going to Singapore tomorrow... I don't want to go since its for a wedding... urghhhhhh... but had to accompany mom. What to do....

me: Are you sure it's Ilos?

Liara: Yes Commander.

me: Ok. Joker. Get us back to the Citadel

Joker: Yes ma'am

me: What happened in your cycle?

Vigil: The reapers came through the Citadel and before anyone knew what was going on, the leaders were dead. We shut down everything that could lead to this location.

me: Is it because you found the video game or at least its location?

Vigli: We never found it. We only knew of the item itself

Garrus: Wait a minute. Will someone tell me what a video game has to do with this?

me: Don't worry about it. Just know that Saren has to be stopped

Vigil: If you hurry, you may have a chance to stop him

me: How did you learn of the video game?

Vigil: It was from our leaders. It was never revealed where they got the information from. Apparently its suppose to be the best video game ever made in galactic history. Its called Mass Effect.

me: I guess the same happened in our cycle. Thanks for the info. Later.

me: You ran on Virmire. Are trying out for the 50 meter dash?

Saren: SHUTUP

me: You can't win. You will die knowing you failed.

Saren: No. Sovereign has promised to keep me alive if I prove my usefulness.

me: Not today.

Udina: Good job Shepard. Now we need to find this video game

Anderson: We still have to worry about the reapers

me: Hopefully there're stuck in dark space

Udina: Given what's happened, you should pick me to be the human councilor

me: It's yours. Ok. I'm getting back to my ship and start looking for this video game

Jeff "Joker" Moreau

Tiptree/Helmsman/Insanity

"Sh--! Sh--! Sh--!"

John Shepard

Colonist/Infiltrator/Insanity

"Oh wow the Normandy is really empty today, is everyone having a party on shore leave or som....... Oh for the love of Ackbar, it was a trap wasn't it?"

Today John completed his quest to destroy the Collectors.  They fell for one of the classic blunders, the first two being well known, involving land wars in Asia and Sicilians, but only slightly less well known is that you should never, ever, ever, get on Commander Shepard's bad side.  That being said, John got the squad together and proceeded to kick Zombie Prothean butt.  With the ship upgraded the collectors couldn't touch him, with a loyal squad, the collectors couldn't stop him.  When they told him it was a suicide mission, John never thought that it would be suicide for the Collectors, not humanity.  Not even Harbinger's smack talking could lower morale, as Miranda led the second team while Tali crawled through the ventilation shaft, and Grunt acted as a bullet sponge with Legion and Shepard providing Widow power. Samara was up to the task of creating a biotic bubble while Shepard told Jacob to escort the crew.

In the end though, it was John, Tali, and Grunt against a human reaper, making it the second time in as many years that the Galaxy was saved and a reaper killed by Shepard, Tali, and a Krogan.  In the end, the squadmates chosen proved to be rather irrelevant, as one Cain and a few Widow anti-everything rounds later, the Reaper baby became a reaper corpse before its collector backup could even arrive.  Shepard decided to keep the base, TIM just has an awesome voice, so how can you not do what he says?  Also, since a bunch of omnicidal space Cthulus are coming, the usual rules of war can be thrown out the window in favor of every advantage presented.

With the Collectors stopped and the entire squad alive, it was time for Shepard to continue his passion of goofing around the galaxy and strip mining every planet to satisfy his perfectionist tendencies.

Side Note:  So this was my first ME2 insanity run, and I can't believe it took me this long to get around to (given I've done at least 8 playthroughs), but it feels great to finally accomplish it.  It was the only achievement in my way of a perfect 62/62 for the game, and my first XBox 100% completion, which I think is fitting for my favorite game of that console generation.  Anyways, eventually I'll be taking John Shepard into ME3, and I think I'm going to use that as an excuse to get a few of the DLCs I've never bothered with.  Should be fun to finally see what all the fuss is about regarding Javik.

So far today Sabrina did Benning, went back to Citadel, went to Eden Prime and reanimated the very sassy Prothean, went to Tuchanka and did the Cerberus something there, went back to the Citadel and is now doing Tuchanka.  She blabbed about the bitchy Salarian hag trying to buy her off.

Sabrina came so close to not talking to Liara's dad simply because she didn't notice that she could be talked to.  Only looking at the wiki for Priority Tuchanka did I even think to talk to her.  Wow.  I loved her in ME2.  Made Liara talk to her.    Yesterday we found Charr's remains and oh boy listening to his Blue Rose of Ilium poetry made me bawl.

Went to Omega to take care of Samara's daughter. We started to track her down by talking to Aria, who sent us to an apartment.

There we met the mother of Morinth's last victim Nef. I comforted her and we were able to find clues in Nef's room.

Off to the VIP section of the Afterlife we went. We reviewed our plan of needing to get the attention of Morinth while Samara stayed back watching.

Helped out an asari pestered by a turian and intimidated two turians, that seemed to be enough to get Morinth's attention. She walked up to me and we had a chat, and not too far in she invited me back to her place. Everything went according to plan, except that I don't quite remember what happened at the end of our conversation, and suddenly I saw Samara attacking her. I helped Samara and she finished her daughter off for good.

Was testing out lash ability to detonate on armor in SP. Recorded my first gameplay video to show It actually detonates. Contemplating if I should record my new vangaurd playthrough I am doing (when I am bored of BF4, inquisition, FC4). Though I run a modded vangaurd (i.e. has more than one bonus power and I modded flare for ungodly damage but only use as a finisher). So many questions, so little time. Also wrote a media memorandum for my engineering professional practice course to, but thats not mass effect related.

Sabrina said goodbye to Mordin and I bawled when the opening theme to Mass Effect played.  The genophage cure was floating through the air and all the Krogan rejoiced.  Good feels about that.  Not everyone happy including the haggy salarian, that in the first game I thought was male.  I thought a lot of things in the first game that weren't true.  Funny looking back.

Did N7 fighter something and then went to the Citadel.  Sigh.  Thane.  Sigh.  Thane.  Cry.  Hello Kaidan.  Kaidan shot Udina.  Was Udina indoctrinated, or did he go to Cerberus so that he could take control of the citadel for his own purposes?  Hmmm.

Read poetry with Kolyat.  Welcomed Kaidan back to the Normandy.  Resisted joining Traynor in the shower.  Diana Allers doesn't float my boat at all so Sabrina was like huh?  Now James Vega, Sabrina tried to lure him to her hard bed and he wasn't having any of it.  Sigh.

That's where I saved late last night.  Lots of trauma so I dreamed about trauma.
