Had a row with She Who Must Be Obeyed....
So she forgave me and came over for dinner, dessert was scrumptious......
Oh as if I'm going to let you bunch of degenerates see that!

Rico Shepard is up and running around Noveria and everything go smoothly..... until this pesky elevator bug.
So much for a fast playthrough.... argh.. maybe its just universe telling me to drop ShepardLoo forever. Leng Chai, we're just not fated to be together.
Ha! So much for smoothly
You sacrificed your squadmates to the Rachni! ![]()
He remembers vividly Akuze. However fate smiled on Zapp that day, as he had slept in that morning and was thus absent for the massacre of his squad by a Thresher Maw.
And yet the tale of how he survived gets bigger and more dramatic as time goes on. (How long until he tells the story of how he was armed with only a butter knife?)
Before meeting with Udina and the rest of the Council I stopped by Commander Bailey's office, who just got rid of Al-Jilani, and we had a nice little talk.
Then I was taken to the Council, where Liara already waited. I explained the situation, we talked about the plans for the device and I asked for their help, just so they could turn down my plea. Thanks for nothing, once again.
Udina wanted to see me at the office after that disaster. We had a chat about what to do, when the turian Councillor came by, asking me for help with one of their politicians, first. Unbelievable, but sure, as long as they consider helping afterwards...
On my way out I bumped into Al-Jilani again. I had to restrain myself not to punch her again, but instead I prodded her into putting pressure on the Council because they wouldn't help. That felt kinda good.
Met reporter Diana Allers on the way to the Normandy, who wants to join. Not too keen on reporters in general, but I told her we could do a trial run, see how it goes.
I had a weird dream that night...
Liara came by and noticed something wasn't right. I told her about it since she's always been helpful and supportive of me and it felt good to talk a bit.
We were then interrupted by Specialist Samantha Traynor (her voice
). She showed me around a bit, and then I had some time to talk to the crew.
Discussed the Council with Joker, learned more about Traynor's duties and background, went to see Liara, who had taken Miranda's old office as her new Broker base, had a chat and examination with Dr. Chakwas, Adams was back in Engineering, nice seeing him too. At last I went to see shuttle pilot Steve Cortez, learned a bit about him and then I had a little dance with James while we talked a bit about him.
And I collected my ship models. Now all that's missing are fish and space hamster...
Today I watched Mass Effect movie trailer

I think I need to play Portal, only played Portal 2
Well, today I played a couple of missions in ME2 as an Engineer. Oh how I missed you... ![]()
I wanted to show off how good Mordin's Cryo Blast was when paired with an Engineer. It is still as good as I remember.
I also took Legion with me for some AI Hacking. Thane's and Samara's recruitment missions have enough mechs to make it useful. Unfortunately, it also killed me a number of times, because I would get ahead of the hacked mech and when the effect wore off, it turned on me.
I also got way too cocky at times and did not take cover when I should, leading to an untimely death. That was frustrating. I died once on Samara's recruitment mission when I took some bad cover during the Wasea fight. Probably a good thing, since the second time went very quickly.
Thane's mission was a pain in the rear for some reason. I died once at the elevator fight when I accidentally moved out of cover and the Krogan shot me. My controller is old. But I kept dying on the second half of the mission for some reason for the previous reasons mentioned.
Still, I always enjoy playing as the Engineer. Engineer + Mordin = awesome.
I'll try to have a videos up later tomorrow. Plus one short video where an Asari Vanguard was so confused she did everything but try to fight. I had never seen anything like it before, and will probably never see anything like again.
Enquiring minds - how much does Shep have to suck up to Chambers to get her to feed the fish? Because in actual fact (game fact) Shep would be more likely to drop her if she did the fall backwards catch me thing, and just would have great difficulty in embracing her even for the sake of the fish. (I need an emoticon that blows raspberries
).
As promised, here is my protection-stripping Engineer with Mordin (and his Cryo Blast), along with Legion for a little AI Hacking.
I was hoping this would showcase why I think Mordin's Cryo Blast is awesome. Not sure if I succeeded or not.
Maradona Shepard went to Thessia to go check out some artifact that may hold the key to completing the crucible - or whatever the uber-weapon is that the Alliance is supposed to be working on.
Okay, Kaidan is back with the Normandy and he had a talk with Revvie about his parents only to give her this... stare.
I stopped playing DAI for a short time to continue my femshep's story
Linda Shepard - The Hunt for the ME trilogy
Harbinger: Capital ship # 696 report
#696: We've encountered no resistance from the Batarins.
Harbinger: Excellent. Capital ship # 1078 report.
#1078: Nearing Turain space. Any further instrustions?
Harbinger: Wipe them out. They have nothing we want. If for some reason you run into any problems, let me know. I will send reinforcements. Capital ship #5. Take 10 other capital ships and 100 destroyers. Head to the Citadel and stay out of sight. If anyone gets near the area the device is at, destroy the Citadel.
#5: Understood.
Harbinger: Capital ship #22 report.
#22: Approaching Asari space. Will update when the attack begins
Harbinger: Very good. Destroyer #3447 report
#3447: Enroute to Rannoch. Will invite the Geth to join us.
Harbinger: Keep me posted. Destroyer #89 report.
#89: Approaching Tuchanka.
Harbinger: Good. All other reapers. We're approaching Earth. This planet will not get destroyed, only harvested. Understood?
all reapers: Yes sir
Harbinger: One last thing. This is Shepard's homeworld. If you see her or the Normandy, let me know. If anyone does fire at her or the ship, you will be destroyed by me Is that clear?
all reapers:.....ahh.....Very clear Mr. Harbinger sir
Anderson: I need you to stop the reapers Shepard.
me: Wait a minute. You and the Alliance had me locked up for the last 6 months. You made no effort to find a way to stop the reapers for 2 years after I was killed and now you're asking me for help.
Anderson:.....Yes
me: I will help, but for my own reasons
Anderson: Fair enough
me: What's the situation?
committee: We were hoping you could tell us?
Me: .....Is that a serious question? How would I know what's going on if I've been locked up for 6 months? Are any of you related to Anderson?
Anderson: That's not funny Shepard
nearby Alliance person: I thought it was funny Commander
me: That person disagrees with you. Ha. Give him a promotion
me: You stay here Anderson while I get help
Anderson: What? I want to go with you
me: I don't want you on MY ship. I will be back shortly
Liara: I found plans that can wipeout the reapers
me: Really? So you're an engineer that is able to read these plans. I thought you studied Protheans
Liara:.....The plans are in the archives
me: Why not download them to your omnitool when you found them?
Liara:.....I didn't think of that
me: Tell me something Liara. Did you actually see these plans?
Liara: ........Can we just get to the archives?
me: Fine. Lets go
Hackett: I thought Cerberus might try something
me: Why didn't you tell me Cerberus might show up before I got to Mars?
Hackett: ......The importanat thing is you found something that can stop the reapers.
me: Yeah sure. Disconnect
Bailey: How's it going Shepard?
me: Ok. I will go see Ashley and then head to the council
Bailey: Fine by me. Take care
Will continue with Linda's story later.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all the fish from ME2 that she can save for you can be re-bought in ME3 (with the exception of the Paddlefish IIRC, which gives you a bonus in a NG+) so drop away.

Dat 10% power/weapon damage though... ![]()
DAI has some great moments, it just lacks a strong narrative to tie it all together. There are either too many areas or too few reasons (other than to be a completionist) to go to them. It's why I haven't bothered with the first DLC yet. It just adds another huge area that you can do before you beat Corypheus that has no real bearing on the situation. I was hoping for a strong post ending narrative. I guess I'll keep waiting.

It's nice, but honestly NG+ are so easy already you can sleep through them. Starting at level 60 and all weapons of choice at level V, soon to be VII and X... ![]()
One of the best Bioware missions I've played that was.
Same for me, loved it! I could not bring myself to properly play the other path so far, but I will do it in my next (4th) playthrough (I hope
)
@RedCaesar Daaamn, that looks absolutely amazing, how you stay in the open not taking any cover. Very impressive!

Without spoliering anything, taking the Templar route has it's own rewards. (Notably and arguably a much more interesting Lieutenant for Cory)

If you decide to do another playthrough, try siding with the templars. That quest is good

I'm halfway through my tenth playthrough and only sided with the mages twice. One of those times is on my current playthrough.
One of the best Bioware missions I've played that was.
You've got an even better mission to look forward to. I think most people will agree that DAI's "party" mission far outshines Donovan Hock's party.
