Today I rescued Admiral Koris, I convinced him that he is needed back with the Civilian Fleet, rather than saving his crew, kicking some Geth ass along the way. Next up is the Geth consensus mission.
What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy

Yeah well, level 8 rougue and am just getting my arse handed to me. I've just given up for the night after being murdered by Quarian mercenaries in a random encounter, no matter my party mix..
I've never had to fight Qunari in DAO even in a random encounter.

Really? I'm getting attacked by a group of mercinaries backed up by a witch. One massive flame spell just murders me.
And yes, Qunari, couldn't remember the name. Bollocks and damnation.

Yeah I remember that fight, though I don't remember the Qunari. I was a level 25 mage and just froze them all and let my companions finish them off.
And my last post. I do remember you do encounter a random Qunari in the main game every now and then

About to do sidequests and maybe Novaria if I have the time
. Lv 30 now so hopefully the difficulty curve will give me a break (Hardcore).

For me, starting from scatch on Hardcore isn't too bad. Insanity though? Uggh
. I'll never start from scratch on Insanity again(ME1). It was almost as if I was shooting air soft pellets while my opponents had live ammo. Add the fact that I had little to no powers to choose from, and it was just a b**tch until I got to level 20. Then it finally became kind of fun.
Haven't gotten too far on my latest play-through. Did a couple of sidequests, retrieved Wrex's family armor, traveled to Noveria, retrieved the package for the Hanar shopkeeper for some extra credits(intimated for a bonus), accepted the espionage quest from Calis, but instead of actually helping her, I warned Vargas about her, and tricked Calis in the process. Retrieved her pay out and once again intimidated for a bonus. This Shepard has no patience for corporate BS and was tempted to tell her to shove it when she first approached him for this "job", but he didn't want to say no to easy credits. Besides, it amused him to play her like that. Decided to help Lorik Qui'in retrieve his files, killed some dirty cops in the process, and helped Parasini nail Anoleis as well. Now on my way to Peak 15.

It's not that bad, but certain parts really trip me up. Krogan Battlemaster and Geth Armature on Therum, and the Thorian Creepers on Feros especially.
Plan is to get this 'as full as possible' Hardcore playthrough done, then take it to an even more completionist (even for lore, reading all planet descriptions etc) route for an Insanity NG+.
Then finally, my PC main CustomShep will be ready for ME2
. Would be nice to complete this trilogy within a couple months...

I love Parasini. My main Shep helps her every time.

I've never gone against Parasini. That damn salarian is just too annoying, and I don't give a volus' cloaca about that turian.
True enough, that. Though my last game I helped Qui'in instead, who then ended up as the new administrator according to the message he sent in ME2.
Let's see, I helped Aria kick Cerberus off Omega. I paragoned her just enough that she didn't kill Petrovsky. She later sent his chess board to the Normandy as a memento. Too bad I suck at chess.
Headed to Rannoch to find out what happened to the quarians. Turns out they attacked the geth....again. Settled matters there by making peace but losing Legion. I didn't even punch Han' Gerrel this time (usually can't help myself).
After that, went back to the Citadel to meet the asari councilor and check in on Ann Bryson. Got coordinates for a temple on Thessia, and a partial lock location for Leviathan. Thessia....well, that went badly, as it always does. Fast-forwarded through the post-mission convo with the councilor, then went hunting for a reaper killer. Figured it might be needed as a last resort if that beacon data isn't recovered. Though considering how incredibly stupid they were, maybe their help isn't really the helpful kind.
Got a reactor back online (um, why is Capt. Riley up for a commendation when my guy had to save her team's behinds???) and kept Alliance communications safe from Cerberus.
Next stop was Horizon, er, Sanctuary, which turned out to be anything but. TIM has finally gone completely bonkers. Found Miranda, who was taken by surprise by Kai Leng and ended up dying after killing her father. Shepard promised to look after Oriana for her.
Headed back to the Citadel once more, this time for some shore leave, which instead turned into a "Shepard against a gazillion mercs with guns and drones" fest. Sweet apartment I just inherited, but it could really use a makeover. I don't think Anderson is much for décor. Well, maybe once this whole merc business is settled I can do some shopping.

Same. Parasini is great. I always get this weird graphic glitch in ME2 when shep helps her frame that crooked asari merchant. Parasini says something to her as she's walking away to go contact her lawyer, and her head does a 180 degree turn. Makes me laugh and kinda creeps me out at the same time, especially when she waves.

I get that glitch with Hermia's head going all Exorcist too. So far it's been in every single playthrough. I'm guessing that it's like that for everyone.
I just looked up Illium: Gianna Parasini just to look up the name of that asari merchant, and I had no idea that you can get Gianna killed by snitching to Anoleis.

Ah the joys of playing for the first time the Leviathan DLC, and in my first insanity run too. I got squashed like a cake in the part of the repair android. ![]()

Yeah, it lets Shepard get a taste of the multiplayer task of escorting drones.

I haven't played ME3 MP since 2012. Haven't renewed my gold membership
. I don't remember these type of missions on MP, it must have changed a lot since then.

Recruited Jacob and his ex-Cerberus buddies for the war. What does Kasumi see in that guy? Wanted to punch Archer in the face just as much as I did in my last playthrough, heh.
Also recruited Samara for the war. Was interesting to take Garrus on that mission, I'd never done that. He mentions the tuchanka bomb when you discuss the bomb in the great hall, which was pretty cool.
Next up, Rannoch.

I cannot praise the Soldier class enough, it is marvellous to play as. I fricken love the sniper rifle, I can just perch the Mako on top of a hill facing an enemy compound and then snipe enemies from over 400 metres away. The lack of time dilation is not a problem at all, when you've got the skill anyway. Assault rifles and pistols are just as fun, all have their own unique uses. Now I understand why the class is so popular, I've never had so much fun playing Mass Effect. RIP my Vanguard.

Any class can use the sniper rifle once you have it unlocked as a bonus. I almost always go with the Infiltrator, though and take assault rife as a bonus. You are basically and soldier with tech skills.

Cracked it, it was assassins against leliana. I just took the leader out and cutscene-o-rama.

Wait till you get to Denerim to fight her mentor if you choose. You could do a few quests to build up your character to make the fight a little easier

What does your wife think of Miranda's ass?
When she takes the controller away and plays her own femShep you should make a thread and we'll discuss whether you should inform her about Jacob and Thane, and that her four choices are: Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, and Traynor.

The ladies got it bad on Mass Effect 3. They could have Vega for example (I think that romancing Jacob is just as exciting like romancing a brick) and the devs condemned the poor femsheps to the friendzone.
Ah, on topic, I've just freed Legion from the Geth Dreadnought. I plan to get back Rannoch later. Just imagining the rannoch boss on insanity.... wheeeee......
