Woops, the second link was wrong, it just took you do the same place as the first. I have now corrected the original post.
I genuinely thought I was watching two different playthroughs!
So maybe this is proof I need sleep ![]()

Kind of just chugging along right now, took out the rogue VI on Luna, heading to Feros either tonight if I have the energy or tomorrow.
I like Arrival. It has a stealth section!
I have always felt Arrival is a much better DLC than people often give it credit for, sure I would not put it in the same class as LoTSB, Leviathan, or Citadel but I do put it above the likes of Omega and Overlord. Not only does it have a sense of urgency that at that time in the series had only happened one other time (the battle of the citadel) but the gameplay was fun and unique, from the stealthy infiltration of the batarian prison to the solo campaign the rest of the dlc I felt the DLC finally showed what kind of soldier, what kind of warrior shepard really is. Sure Shepard can kick ass the rest of the time with the squad and we see what a commander shepard is but in arrival we see what a warrior Shepard is. I love the line that goes along the lines of "Shepard is tearing us apart!" I really love the Object Ro fight, I like seeing if I can outlast all the lackies Kenson throws at me until Object Ro itself finally takes me out. Of course we then top things of with the only time we converse with Harbinger (and I mean converse, not just get taunted by him). Then it ends with a debriefing of Hackett. I truly feel this DLC is the last thing we are meant to do before importing into ME 3. I know it can be played any time after Horizon but it's best waiting until we are done with everything else in ME 2. In fact the only criticism I have of the DLC is being forced to talk to Hackett when we try to access our mail after Horizon, I thought there could have been a different way that was handled especially for those of us that like putting it off until later in the playthrough. I know I will never play it before I play the Suicide Mission. In fact for me personally I consider it my ME 3 prologue. Sure it is an ME 2 DLC but when I play it I feel like I am starting ME 3.
****** cured the ****** genophage while forgetting i had to clean tons of citadel side missions instead of doing all the others which seemed to require a quick reaction (benning, turian platoon, cerb attacks aso...)
and i forgot to make any save, argggggggg. So long for my clean run

Omega is great. It's very reactive to your choices... more than any DLC they made. Or many quests for that matter.
Also, it's Omega... the best ****** zone in the whole series. And if it wasn't for Aria, I wouldn't like the Asari. Now I know why Wrex had some respect for commandos.
Overlord is good, for roleplaying purposes. I like it being a kind of one-two punch with Jack's quest, for Shep to get his head out of his ass when it comes to Cerberus.
Omega is like Lair of the Shadow Broker. You must like the character it is based around, and the combat of the game, or you wont like the DLC.
Omega is Aria and I don't like Aria as a character, so I wouldn't rate Omega very highly at all. Plus I find the combat to be some of the easiest zones going. Nyreen was a waste of a potentially good character. Also if I hadn't been told that the DLC was taking place on Omega I would have never known it from the environments, it's barely recognisable as the brilliantly designed Omega from Mass Effect 2

What do you mean about the environment? Seems to have the same elements to me... same kind of doors and walkways, lighting and general atmosphere..
Just bigger... and we get to see the actual mining facilities.

I never bothered to buy omega dlc, maybe i should. I understood it was onlly linear combat and not much interest. Even choice reactive ?!?
I m just realising again how poor the choice consequence are in ME3. (Lol Kaidan/ashley
, collector base and so one)

It's choice reactive in the sense that it recognizes different versions of Shepard's personality... it's pretty cool how it tallies up your P/R choices in the end.
It's not big choices in the context of the Reaper war, but I thought it was a good for roleplaying. And gives me some hope on the next game (Montreal made it, and they're doing ME:N as well). It's kind of like how Conrad Verner or Al-Jilani are pretty reactive to all the little things you do. I like that kind of stuff. Even if he or she don't matter that much.

The best thing about omega is the way aria isn't a complete shep worshipper.
The closest she comes is if you're completely middle of the road... she gives the oddest response then.

What do you mean Nyreen was a waste? She's great!
Combat is not very challenging, it's like Grissom Academy for me. It's not Omega's fault though, the whole game is easy that way.
And regarding the environments, it is quite close. We haven't seen much of the Omega in ME2. Quarantine zone, Afterlife area and Garrus's camp was all we've seen and surface areas in ME3 look pretty close. Afterlife area in ME3 is similar.
Omega is quite good. I'd rank it higher than the Citadel, and I don't even like Aria. For me it's Leviathan = Extended Cut > Omega = From Ashes > Citadel. The first four feature the content that should've been in the game right from the start. Citadel is an addendum, disconnected from the main storyline.
That said, ME3 DLCs are the best in the series IMO.

I think Grissom (and this, if you play fairly early) come at the right time, so long as you're not fully leveled up and such. Mostly the atrium is what I like about Grissom, if you're on Insanity. It feels like old school Bioware again, where I'm pausing a lot and looking around. At least it was like that at first... I've gotten used to it.
Played some more Dahlia Shepard (Flare Infiltrator) last night.
1. Talked the crew post-Menae, then went back to the Citadel.
2. Shepard stopped to talk to a Dr. Bryson, who was then shot by his assistant who apparently was indoctrinated by The Leviathan. Dahlia feels bad because she was distracted reading a datapad when the assistant walked in with the gun. If she had been more alert, maybe Dr. Bryson would still be alive.
Regardless, with EDI's help, she managed to track down Dr. Garneau's location so they could continue to track down Leviathan.
3. Wandered the Citadel, talking to people, getting some delivery orders, and helping out Aria. Dahlia also helped a Salarian Spectre track down an indoctrinated Hanar. Unfortunately, the situation escalated and she was forced to choose between saving the Spectre or saving the Hanar homeworld. When the choice is between 1 person and millions (billions?) of lives, it was not much of choice. She saved the Hanar homeworld.
4. Met with diplomats, including her old friend Wrex. For the Krogan to help the Turians, Wrex wants the genophage cured. The Salarian Dalatrass was vehemently opposed but overruled by everyone else who wanted it cured. Also, a female Krogan female was found alive on the Salarian world Sur'Kesh, so Wrex wants her back naturally.
On the way to Sur'Kesh, Wrex butted heads with Shepard (figuratively, not literally thank goodness) over the fact that she destroyed Maelon's research several months ago. Dahlia immediately regretted that decision, and wished she could go back in time to change it.
5. And finally, because I hated playing for a couple of hours without actually doing anything, Dahlia beat down Cerberus troops to get the Krogan female out alive. Wrex seemed happy about that.
And Dahlia picked up the Scorpion pistol, which will be her go-to weapon for the rest of the game.
Next up: More talking, another visit to Kaidan on the Citadel, then on to Eden Prime to collect a Prothean artifact.
I'm happy...out of the 4 banners I wanted to unlock, I've already unlocked 3 so far without any major difficulty ![]()
Only one remains, and to obtain it I need to doooo....(wait a second while I look into it).....one Platinum solo.
.....crap.

For the Lone Wolf banner you do NOT need to do a Platinum Solo. You can get it by doing two Gold solos, 5 silver, and 10 bronze. I got the Lone Wolf this way. If I had to do the Platinum solo I would never have bothered. (Doing the Gold solo's was kind of cheesy as it was: I went with the talon merc on firebase white against Geth and hid in the little cubby hole in the back and cain mined the approach. Not what I would call a legitimate solo.)
More Dahlia Shepard (Flare Infiltrator):
1. Talked to the crew and then went the Citadel. Bumped into Miranda, one of the few who survive the Suicide Mission with Shepard. She seems to be doing well.
2. Had one last chat with Kaidan. He accepted the Spectre position.
3. Landed on Eden Prime with Liara and EDI. Discovered that the Prothean artifact was actually a Prothean; Liara was elated. Avenged the dead of Eden Prime by slaughtering the Cerberus attackers, sending critical intel to the survivors, and then took off with Mr. Prothean back to the Normandy. Talked to the crew some more.
4. Went to Grissom Academy. Dahlia saw Cerberus drag a student away screaming, but was helpless to do anything about it. The story of her life. She managed to help Ensign Prangley and the other students ward off another Cerberus attack. The students then provided support while Shepard and squad fought their way to a Cerberus shuttle and help the students escape.
The students made it safely to the shuttle, but Cerberus managed to shoot Prangley in the back. Dahlia turned to see his lifeless body just as the shuttle doors closed. Dahlia felt personally responsible since she should have been at the back providing suppressing fire while the students went to the shuttle; instead, she made a foolish decision to run ahead assuming Prangley would be fine.
Story of her life: she earns the greater victory, but at the cost of lives she feels she could have saved if she had only done better.

I'll bet Dahlia also forgot to use her gun to shoot the glass separating her from Rodrigez and instead tried to smash the glass with it's butt. (That scene always reminds me of one of Kevin Costner's lines from Dances with Wolves: "Shoot the gun!" after one of his Indian friends clubs someone with it.)
I hope our next hero is not made into a moron for the sake of drama.

They are good DLCs I just put them in the middle of the pack as far as ME DLCs go. Of course the only DLC I don't really care for is Pinnacle Station and even then I am glad that bioware incorporated it's concepts into the Citadel DLC.

Yeah, Pinnacle was pretty weak. I can't bring myself to finish it anymore.
As for Omega, personally I'd be happy with a whole game set there.

Well considering how strong the glass is at Grissom Academy, bullets would be pointless. Of course, ramming it with the gun butt would also be pointless, but... "game logic".

Or if you want another reason why she did not shoot the glass...
Shooting the glass would require firing bullets in the general direction of Rodriguez, meaning you could end up accidentally shooting Rodriguez or hitting her with flying glass. Breaking the glass with your gun instead would only knock the glass a few feet away from the window at most.
So it actually would make some sense to hit the glass with the gun instead of shooting it.
Of course, busting the glass apart with biotics could actually be worse since it would send a lot of glass flying at Rodriguez... which of course is what Jack/Prangley end up doing.
So yeah, might as well have shot the glass.

I was looking at the old script awhile back and they had an even cooler scenario, where Jack gets all the students to combine their power and blows a hole in the station, blowing all the remaining Cerberus into space. Not sure what the details were and how they protected themselves, but I'd love to see that.
