I'd forgotten just how bad the intro was. In my mind i knew there was lots of auto-dialogue but i must have mentally blacked out the awful extent of it to save my sanity.
Well at least i'm through that mess now.

Solo achievement in MP done. For the last 2 ones I decided to use the TGI "Frekin' Turbo Mode" Harrier, in order to finish each one in 15 minutes more or less. Then I fully restocked my inventory (it was a bit mangled up after that last banner hunt), proudly put on my new banner, and decided to have a fun Vancouver/Gold/Reapers by Smashguarding away with some people ![]()
All in all it went pretty good. Some deaths during the Blood Pack parts, but none during Eclipse and Blue Suns. I always had trouble with Blood Pack
First off, good write-up.
Second, yeah, I have the most problems with the Blood Pack portion. That big room with the Varren and Krogan is my bane. Surprisingly, my Engineer Tristan got through the entire Archangel mission without dying. (Tristan did not take the interrupt to kill the gunship mechanic. He did hack the mech. He is, after all, an engineer. He told the kid not to sign up, but when he insisted, Tristan decided not to press the issue. Stupid kid.)
I'm impressed you got through the Blood Pack portion with only one other squad mate. On insanity I never leave anyone with Garrus. It's hard enough as it is. ![]()

So, I went looking for your profile but didn't find it. Would you mind providing a link?

I always leave someone with Garrus. I hate time trials enough as to make them even more urging.
And for that famous last portion....well...that isn't something that can't be solved with a well-placed Cain shot
surpriseeee, bad guys!

Link sent.
Note that I've only unlocked the banners I'm interested in according to a certain criteria of mine, not all of them ![]()

I left someone with Garrus too, and only saved him in the nick of time. Like......barely. I guess that fight could go either way for me.

I don't leave anyone with him. If he's lasted that long by himself, a few more minutes won't hurt. Well, only if I take my time. Hahaha.

I just didn't think about it, since I leave someone there out of habit on other difficulty settings.
I always leave someone with Garrus
The shutter section is not that difficult, especially if you take a useful squadmate with you (NOT Grunt) ![]()

I hate, HATE, how Garrus whines the whole time you are down there. "You've got to hurry, Shepard. Get to that console and close the shutter." Damn you Garrus, you come down here and do it! You got yourself into this mess. I should just leave the same way these mercs are coming in. ![]()

Yeah, that was my first problem part as well, and of course later with the boss. Two krogan, vorcha and varren are tough to handle
I was lucky at the try I finally got it though. The krogan had already reached Garrus and his health was dropping, and I ran up the stairs as fast as I could. Took down the first krogan and then good thing the boss focused on me and not Garrus anymore ![]()
Hehe, yeah, I wouldn't have taken it either, but killing a batarian in such a malicious way is something Hannah gladly does ![]()
Well I guess I can mostly give Mordin credit for making it, he's just so good with Incinerate! I love that guy, really ![]()

Hehe, I hate Garrus always tells you to hurry, I'm not good at hurrying things, I'm more a "careful" player, duck for cover and wait a lot, don't take any risks unless necessary etc. But I'm working on that and learning what's ok and what's not. I especially remembered that for ME2, I think on some parts you actually need to progress quickly (Haestrom with the geth), but I don't know if the shutter area is one of those too. I just did it as quickly as I could ![]()

useful squadmate
lol.. I did it with Jacob and Miranda. And I swear, I took Jacob with me. ![]()
I don't recruit anyone before Garrus and Mordin. I got a "system" (not really.. I just sort of like how all 3 games parallel with how run into squadmates...if you follow the questlog).
I always leave someone with Garrus and take Mordin with me. I must admit tho' I hate that pyro Vorcha who hides around the corner waiting for you. Come on BW!! A weapon that shoots around corners - I got that much ability to suspend disbelief at least

Well.... that's easier.
I think I just used a pistol, Adr Rush, and got my eyebrows singed.

That guy is at the top of my enemy list, I feel this white burning hatred just thinking about him.

When playing as an adept, singularity takes care of that Vorcha very easily.
Zapp B. Shepard
Vanguard/failshep
Today Zapp got his club on. Not having partied for awhile, Zapp went to Omega for a good ol' time. He decided to bring Jack because she was already dressed for a rave and Samara because he didn't know what the drinking age was on Omega so he figured he would keep the octocentenarian around in case he needed her to buy the booze (also she said something about wanting to come here earlier but Zapp wasn't really paying attention). On the way they made a wrong turn and stumbled into some dead person's home... Oops.
This however was a blessing in disguise because after rummaging through her stuff it turns out that she had access to the VIP section of the club. So apparently being the savior of the galaxy and first human spectre means nothing to people around here yet they pay attention when someone so much as drops this Jaruut person's name. What is this guy, the Keyser Soze of Omega?
Zapp gets in to the VIP section and things go better than planned. He gets to fight a few people, has some drinks, and SCORE! some hot asari wants to take him home. They go back to her place and are about to seal the deal when Samara barges in. Apparently this other asari is her daughter. Zapp assures her it's not what it looks like, but to his surprise instead of trying to kill him like every sitcom ever told him she would, she tries to kill Morinth instead. Zapp stops her and Morinth thanks him, but not before admitting she is a Ralph-Bakshi and will kill anyone she sleeps with. So it's back to the Normandy for a disappointed Zapp, maybe he will go see what Kiff... er... Thane is up to.

You are a rock star. That would be missile or grenade launcher?

Missile launcher.
Missile launcher.
I've used it a couple of times. The heavy weapons I use the most in ME2 is the grenade launcher and the cain.
Continued playing my imported ME3 Infiltrator yesterday on insanity. Starting after the Mars archieves. I upgraded the Black Widow to X first and started the mission on Sanctuary (Firebase Glacier). Since I played the MP like decades and solo´d many games on Gold and Platinum, I wanted to roll over Cerberus. I thought I´m a ME 3 MP Veteran and this will be like a walk in the park. Well, I rekt twice. Once during reviving James (Scrub!) and once due to a grenade (Figures!). This hurts me
.
Took a break from my current game of DA:I after becoming spiritually bogged down in Crestwood, and looked through my list of games I haven't even begun playing yet, and instead returned to my newly begun trilogy run. Oh ME, I quit smoking but I can't give you up. You still got it, babe.
I started this current game a while ago, somewhere back on -- holy crap! -- page 314, a little over two months ago.
has it been that long? Wow. Time flies when there are ancient Tevinter magisters to defeat (not to mention many dragons).
Anyway, i only just started that PT with a fresh Commander shepard leading a ground team to the surface of Eden Prime, which had just been wiped out by geth and their giant spaceship. Sound familiar?
... Well, subtract one spectre, one enthusiastic soldier, one escaped spaceship, and one destructed beacon... then add one gunnery chief with a chip on her shoulder, a disturbing dream, and one hell of a headache, and I think you'll agree that things did not turn out so well for the Commander.
it's okay, though. She survived Mindoir and thresher maw attack. She'll get past this. We pick up her travels on the Citadel, where a disbelieving council needs more than her dreams, and the testimony of one traumatized dockworker, to go on before they'll arrest a legendary spectre. Okay then, she would get right on that. But first... the volus and elcor ambassadors had to tell her all about their people and their jobs.
In a way the game kinda feels brand new; because I'm so used to the DA:I keyboard layout, every time I want to interact with something or talk to someone, shep and the crew draw their weapons and prepare for combat
This is gonna take some getting used to.
I dunno how long it will be before I get pulled back into DA:I, but I need a bit of a break. I think I'm burned out on it, because I find myself thinking ahead to future PTs and avoiding the current one because I just dont' feel like wandering around Crestwood. Sigh. We'll see. I may alternate days for awhile and see how that goes.
So... the Citadel it is. Hopefully by the time shep has to do some actual fighting again, right around Chora's Den I believe, I'll have gotten re-familiarized with the controls again and won't accidentally shoot someone I shouldn't be shooting.
Continued with my Flare Infiltrator (Dahlia Shepard) last night. Did not do much though. I talked to the crew, met some people on the Citadel, then headed to a frozen planet called Gellix to rescue some ex-Cerberus scientists. Met a Dr. Gavin Archer while I was there. Seemed like a decent enough guy, until he mentioned putting his savant brother into an experiment. But then again, he seems to have been caught up into the whole "results at all costs" thing most Cerberus guys get into. And the Illusive Man is not a very nice guy to cross.
Anyway, Dahlia managed to rescue the scientists, then went back and talked to the crew some more because why not.
Deciding what to do next. I think I will hit Omega next; Aria is probably itching to take back her throne. Then I will probably go find Garneau and finish the Leviathan DLC. Then after that, I think I will have some shore leave on the Citadel (what could possibly go wrong?). And then finally after all that, I will head out and see what the Quarians are up to.
