It's really tedious. First time I've done it in awhile.

What was the exact trigger again? Taking care of the geth outposts on 4 planets or so, right? I did that but Tali said nothing about the data. Maybe I forgot to actually collect it, but that would be... uhm...quite embarrassing. Ah well, too late now anyway. I just pretend I didn't give her the data, which is still true nevertheless :P

Too late? You mean you finished the game?

But yeah, you do 4 planets, then it opens a 5th (Grissom). You'll infiltrate a building and the room downstairs has the data.

If I hadn't done this, I'd  never have gotten lvl 50, so it was kind of worth it. I dinged right at 50, at one of the last Geth right before you talk to Saren. Heh. Now I know you basically have to complete every quest and kill almost every enemy to get lvl 50 on a completely fresh playthrough (with no trophy bonuses).

What's the dialogue in Freedom's Progress if you don't do those missions? And if you don't give the data to Tali?

It'd have been hilarious if the dialogue in the 2nd option was something like this:

"Remember the Geth data I denied you access to, Tali? Were you still able to complete your Pilgrimage?"

"Er...yes, yes I was....fackin' bosh'tet".

It's better imo. She's more paranoid that you're with Cerberus.

That was AMAZING! :)

It occurs to me now I didn't get to do Tali's quest in my last ME1 run...uh

Same happenned to me. She never asked me for a copy of the data and it was never mentioned in ME2. Weird, it's happenned on all my other playthroughs.

Yeah, I imported it into my current ME2 run already. But I will check it anyway if I've collected it, I want to know now

Lovely hair for your redhead shepard, Massa FX . Ahhh, the advantages of being a PC Gamer. For things like this I don´t think I can ever transition back to consoles.

It's ShepDecoy Mk.4 :D Funny how it works the best against Primes who are supposed to be the smartest units the geth have

Geth Primes are built to house more programs than other platforms and operate as mobile networking hubs. Their combat software provides a boost to any geth nearby, coordinating and directing attacks.

Dat broken Kai Leng sword.

Omg lol I just realised how it looks like! xD

I believe it's meant to be a knife that Tali always had on her ankle or something, but never used it except for that particular scene.

Today Rev went to Thessia and she saw the familiar gunship being used by the Asari military. Ah, memories of Omega.

Spoiler

Unfortunately, the ground was covered by reapers that, according to Kaidan's wise counsel, its a reaper convention.

Why bring Kaidan instead of Javik you say? Because Javik cannot cleave through a lot of insanity-level armored reapers and drain barriers and shields like Kaidan do and Liara need her BFF as moral support instead of a Prothean who would keep egging her every few seconds.

Alas, The Illusive Man's goon decided to show up because whenever TIM wants something, TIM gets it.

Spoiler

With the help of a gunship, Leng Kai nearly killed everyone because he got shits for brain. Also he got some beef with Kaidan because he killed Rasa. So Liara was thrown at Kaidan and he was thrown around again in a span of a few seconds. Poor baby.

Spoiler

Then the Leng Lui ran off with the Prothean VI and it made Revvie sad.

Spoiler

and sadder...

Spoiler

and saddest...

Spoiler

Ah, the people Kaidan needed to kill to make his girls happy. The first on the list would be that Lan Jiao, he grinned as he received his upgraded omnitool from Tali.

But a few mass relays later, they visited Horizon and apparently Cerberus have their own reaper factory with 100% death rates. First the Collectors and now Cerberus. Kaidan smiled as he imagine painting the wall with TIM's blood. Good thinking, Major. Think positive.

Spoiler

Fortunately, Rev found Miri alive and they rehashed the old LotSB trick and save the day in style.

Spoiler

Now that we got The Illusive Man's hideout, Hackett wanted more time to prepare for a war against Cerberus. Might as well do some DLCs and break that Arena scoreboard.

Of course, Tali is going through a mini life crisis. Who doesn't these days?

At least we know what airline Liara likes to fly. Kai Leng Airlines. She's lucky that she wasn't killed. I don't know why the wannabe assassin stuck his sword in the ground instead of stabbing Liara

maybe he has a moment of conscience... or he thinks himself as sibeh badass and want to throw her around for fun.

...and why do I keep wanting to use a lot of Malaysian curse words on him whenever I saw him.. *facepalm* Kai Leng you're bad on my mental health.

Apparently Garrus is one of the most unimportant characters in the grand scheme of things.  Zapp's mission to Manae was almost identical without him alive so I was kinda bummed I'm out one squad member with only a little token dialogue.  At this point I've given up making Zapp a failshep in terms of War Assetts, as his past failures have given me an opportunity to see ME3 in a new light.  Rest assured though, while Zapp may end up with more war assetts than a speedrun would have produced, I still plan to make the worst decisions in every available scenario.  I just don't want to miss an opportunity to see all the changes having next to no squadmates surviving ME2 produces.

So far, I've been very impressed by the change in tone that Grissom Academy produces, though those engineers were as annoying as ever, reaching perhaps Scion levels of frustration.  I remember seeing someone on this site (I want to say Deinonslayer but can't remember) say that without Jack the mission turns from a lighthearted Cerberus butt kicking mission into more emotional tale of a bunch of unprepared students struggling to survive against overwhelming odds and making hard sacrifices.  After finally playing the mission without the psychotic biotic, I would have to agree.  As much as I like Jack, I think the mission is much more gripping and fits the tone of ME3 better without her.

Also, Urdnot Dagg was pretty awesome.  He is no grunt, but you gotta love a boastful Krogan.  Too bad he had to get skewered on account of me saving the clearly indoctrinated Rachni Queen.  Alas, Zapp is still the same shortsighted and idiotic commander as before, so now it's off to cure the genophage and give Wreav a nearly unlimited army of bloodthirsty Krogan.  What could possibly go wrong?

It was originally written around her though. Or the concept was.

I like it in both ways, but for the love of god, just kill her in the SM if you do this (I hope you did this). Don't save her, just to be indoctrinated and tortured by the people she hates most. :(

Anyways, I just can't do a true Failshep playthrough, just because how pathetic the Citadel party will look. :P

Just did Horizon in ME 2 and then went straight to the Arrival DLC.

It was cool seeing the collector instead of the reaper Harbinger at the end.

It's pretty obvious, Samuel doesn't stand a chance against Leng's ballerina of destruction.

I'm doing even some more banner hunting in MP, and today I'm centered on getting the Tech Mastery one (yep, still don't have it...not a fan of tech classes). Only 2 Challenges remained, so I put on a Turian Sentinel on Glacier/Reapers/Gold and used exclusively Tech Armor and Overload. Poor squadmates had it a bit hard (thou surprisingly they hadn't had to carry me). Ended up in 2nd place with 80k points, lol.

It was a good example of "OK, that was a good match...but let's never talk of it again!".

Solved a hit and run vehicular manslaughter case in Los Angeles. It looked obvious, but there was this chef's knife covered in blood, and it led to the real murderer.
