Got the Vol.2 comic today (with Foundation).
edit: It's great wrapping up ME1 and reading Wrex's story. If only this had been in the game... it's one of the better stories.

I'm actually thinking about getting the two comic books + the first novel to try and read the stuff chronologically. I would love to know more of the background from some of the characters, and just about the universe in general.

I don't think the games themselves tell quite enough on their own, so I recommend it. I'd also recommend the second novel btw (it's more about Kahlee, not Anderson.. but she's a cool character. It was also an intro for Cerberus' bigger role, before ME2 came out).
I'd recommend all novels (except Deception which Bioware themselves acknowledged as erroneous on multiple accounts). You can watch Paragon Lost on YouTube and it (along with Conviction comic) does quite a good job on fleshing out James's character. I also suggest Evolution as an important part of the universe.
Cool, noted down! Thank you very much. I have a big list of material to keep me busy for some time, lol.
And yeah, Kahlee doesn't appear much on the game, but she seems to be a total badass.
Today Naomi visited Thessia. The asari homeworld looked great at dusk. ![]()
Sadly, the Reapers ruined the view. So she fought to the temple of Athame, discovered an unknown chapter in asari history and was ambushed by Kai Leng. Assassin's moves were quick but not fast enough for Naomi and Garrus - the sniper duo made quick work of the Cerberus lieutenant. He, however, had gunship support and managed to escape with the Prothean VI. ![]()
... entered into Traynor´s hot shower using her gala uniform (what a mess!). All of this because Jacob put some extra weight over her head. She decided to forget men and became a full reinvented lesbian.
I do the same thing now with my main Infiltrator who romanced Jacob in ME2. Meet up with Jacob on Gellix, get shot down by Jacob. Go back to the Normandy and invite Traynor up for some fun, then take up Traynor's invite into the shower. I always take it as the ultimate "screw you" to Jacob.
(I know sexuality does not work like that, but still... I think it's awesome).
Also, that Shepard never bothers to talk to Jacob at the hospital and so he never gets invited to the party. Jacob is lucky The Butcher of Torfan lets him live.
And I know you can slap a two-timing Jacob on the Silversun strip, but that requires talking to him at the hospital which always comes across like you are two old friends, and one of you is not a jilted lover.
What do you mean, walk by? You can avoid fighting that Atlas?
A collection of some squadmate banter about Shepard letting them fight the Atlas, courtesy of FluffyNinjaLlama.
I started to watch and lost interest after about 5 - thanks tho' Vaz
Also - the nightmare voices one says something about following Shep into hell but don't ask them to smile about it. Who is dat?
Jacob Taylor, that one is at about 3:34

Crying my eyes out on Mordin and Thane's epic deaths last night. I loved those characters to bits so I was beside myself. I really don't know why I waited this looong to play this game, because it's really amazing. It got better and better every series, unlike the other bioware franchise that I was invested on for a long time.
I'm probably nowhere near the end of ME3 right now, I just saved the council, but loving it very much so far. Hope it does not let me down at the end like the "other" one did.
Thane is the halfway point.
Not sure what you mean by the "other one"? Dragon Age?

Why did I?
This is depressing as hell. Gotta love the nightmare sections though ![]()
Talked to Mordin and he actually made me smile. Joked about me being attracted to him, silly salarian. I genuinely like him. I know I shouldn't let myself get too close to the crew, becoming too attached can be bad. But I can't really help it, I've never worked with such an exceptional, even partial alien crew before I became a part of the Normandy. And so I shake off my thoughts. It will be allright.
Then I paid Samara a visit to see how she settled in, and she asked me to help her with her target. Which is actually her daughter, an Ardat-Yakshi. What she told me about the whole thing sounds bad, and we will go after her.
But first I took care of the last person we looked for... the assassin. We went to Illium and contacted Seryna about Thane, and she took Miranda, Mordin and me to the Dantius Towers in a shuttle. Upon arriving we saw mechs attacking some salarians. We took care of the mechs and I pressed a surviving salarian for information on Nassana Dentius and the situation. He died and we moved further on (God, that felt HORRIBLE
I'll never do that again). On our way up we found more salarian workers, locked away safely, and I told them they're free to go. We had made our way to an elevator to take us up. A krogan and engineers came out of it however and we had to deal with them first (died there once, should've ordered the squaddies into cover before calling the elevator, as they died so quickly once again
).
The tower, our destination, was already in sight with just a bridge to cross, but resistence was heavy once again (died here as well because I was knocked away from cover by a squaddie, I think). We proceeded carefully but quick, taking cover frequently and dealing with everyone in our way. Finally we had reached Nassana's penthouse. While I was still talking to Nassana, someone dropped down from above and offed her guards, as well as her after that. Nice and clean.
When I asked Thane to join our fight against the Collectors, he told us right away that he's dying. This here was supposed to be his last mission, but he won't miss out to do some good in the world before he goes, so we boarded the Normandy with him.
Jacob is suspicious and hostile towards the drell assassin and I told them both to stop. However as soon as Thane is gone I told Jacob to keep an eye on him. Just in case.
Thane is the halfway point.

No prob. I recognize you from the DAO forums.
I'll just say I'm done with DA. It was cool while it lasted.
Have fun... glad to see another Thane fan

Captain's log: Fek. I did not realize until just now that "priority" quests in this game was really priority. I'm feeling terrible I left lots of peeps to die specially the friggin school!
Terrible. Shameful. Boo. Hiss.

You just killed the future of humanity, Jack, David Archer, and Anderson's girlfriend. Worse actually. You turned them into indoctrinated Cerberus husks. Now they just begged for death... but didn't get it.
I do like how this tests players' priorities though. Humanity vs Krogan Genophage. lol

Don't worry too much about it. You can do the mission on your next playthrough or go back to an earlier save if you choose.
As a suggestion, when you finish your playthrough, checkout the "Little things discovered in the trilogy thread'. It has all kinds of stuff people may not of known about when playing the games
Lilian invaded a Geth ship, and after escaping it she landed a punch on a quarian admiral who betrayed her in the middle of a war. Yeah, something about him reminded me of Loghain from the very start. They even sounded alike...
After cooperating with Miranda on the Citadel and giving her vital info, Lilian returned to the Quarian home-world and rescued her favorite admiral. Too bad his crew had to die.
Now Lilian is about to enter the geth consensus, and is a little shocked by the amount of N7 missions still needing to be done. But all of this will have to wait till the quarian arc is over and omega is completed.
Ashley was shocked in discovering that Lilian had forged a friendship with a Geth. Lilian always read Ash´s emails, but it seems that Ash did not read Lilian´s mission report regarding the collector base and the persons who landed a helping hand.
Having a character with Overload, Warp and Reave is a great way to bring down Geth primes quickly. Since they move slowly, they are particularly susceptible to warp priming biotic explosions.
Terrible. Shameful. Boo. Hiss.

Pleaaase. Dont want to know who else I killed :-( Archer the scientist?
David Archer.. the kid abused by his brother. You basically just gave him back to Cerberus to be tortured.
I'm gonna make you feel bad. Sorry.
This is the most important quest in the game as far as I'm concerned (I'm a little biased... I'm a big Jack fan).
