How the fck did I loose both Legion and Tali?!?!

 

What were your choices? Was Tali and exile? Were the Heretics destroyed? Did you save the Admiral?

 

If you destroyed the Heretics you score +2 points. If Tali was found not innocent of the treason charges without submitting the evidence (use a persuade check or rally the crowd) then you score +2. If you save Admiral Koris you score +2. You need 5 points to achieve peace between the Quarians and Geth. You also need 4 bars of reputation.

 

If you have enough points to get peace, then 1) tell legion to upload the code, 2) tell legion to continue uploading the code, 3) use a persuade option to tell admiral Gerral to stop attacking.

 

No matter what you do, Legion will die.

Depending on what you did in ME2 and ME3, you can have peace between both

have at least 4 bars of reputation. I would suggest doing as many side missions as possible before dealing with the reaper base

Aside from the Legion and Tali peace, i got 0 points.on the above.

Depends on what you do for the rest of the game. What you do in this playthrough can be different in another playthrough. That's one thing I can say about ME3. It has replay value. At least for me

urggh.. I'm sick of this flu (maybe its the heatwave). So I'm making a video on the nightmare sequence. Oh.. it was so much more painful if you put everyone in the frames together. Unfortunately, I don't have FailShep reserve so I can't really depend on gibbed..... :/

Unfortunately, even with a failshep you hardly hear a fraction of the possible voices you could. I notice the people who have put together compilations of all the different voices did so by going direct to the sound files rather than actually trying to have Shepard run around aimlessly and hear them all.

I'm not keen about replaying a whole section to get a specific death scene. But I got to say BroShep is fun as renegade in ME3.

Samantha revealed that she is part owl and can twist her head 360 degrees!  Down on the Citadel, Shep met Liara’s deadbeat dad, who turned out to be his favourite bartender. That means he gets to do one of his favourite things: happy family moments. He made a face at Liara until she went over for a reunion.

 

He went to the memorial with Steve, and I  realised for the first time that you can actually see his husband in the photo when he puts it down (I never even realised it was a photo before  ). Kelly is still not showing with those fish, so Shep is adopting new fish. He went to Purgatory to drown his fish-grief, and woke up with Aria staring at him like . Way to lose face there, Shep. On a side note, I love that Aria is stuck in Purgatory, waiting to go to the Afterlife.

 

Shepard went to foil Cerberus again, this time on Eden Prime. Those poor colonists just can’t catch a break! EDI came along, since there’s nothing like Cerberus getting stomped by their own creation. Liara was somewhat forlorn about the state of the colony, perhaps because she realises her mother had a large hand in what happened here. Listening to her get all excited about the Prothean was almost painful. The Protheans, a wonderful race who uplifted more primitive species so they could join them on the galactic stage. It was just like the Council, all the species working together democratically. What a magnificent culture! 

 

Shepard was hit with flashbacks to the life of the Prothean inside the pod, and wondered if this was how the scientists on Ilos had spent their final days. Not under attack, sure, but with that same sense of desperation and loss? His eyes glowed green and synthesis-y. Shep’s already a human cyborg with Prothean in his brain. What more could he add to that inter-species soup? Turian mandibles? Krogan testicles? Truly a man of the people. 

 

Cerberus kept irritating him with turrets, but between his warp, Liara’s, and EDI’s overload, they were never a nuisance for long. Those snipers were probably more of a pain, but only showed up a couple of times. He did a quick sweep to get info for the resistance, admiring the pre-fab homes on the way. It’s probably the best-looking colony he’s ever been on!

 

The Prothean introduced himself as Javik, and has designated himself the ‘grumpy old grandpa’ of the group. He definitely isn’t what Liara wanted, but a tough old soldier is exactly what Shep wants. Especially one who can share the embarrassing history of every race going. Next time he sees Mordin, Shep will definitely be asking if he’s ever had a hankering for toasted flies.

Renegade  John Shepard on insanity...

 

Shepard decided to go to Cerberus HQ so he had a quick rest beforehand. This is when he had another nightmare about the combustible child but a mirror image of himself also burned as well (this dream might of been influenced by the recent clone fight; revenge of the clone through dreams ). Anyway, he awoke alone and prepared for the Cronos station infiltration. EDI and James were the squad acting as the infiltration team. Access to the base was more complicated than expected so Shepard opted for a loud brash approach rather than a sneaky method. He used a Cerberus fighter to make a direct path to the heart of the facility. The Illusive Man would've been secretly proud of this technique as Shepard took 'control' of a Cerberus resource to get ahead. Died in the battle afterwards because Shepard tried to rush to the empty heavy mech to use against the other enemy heavy mech. It didn't work out though as Shepard rushed to a dead-end because there was an obstacle in the way. Shepard got a rocket to the face for his stupidity (this happened twice ). Shepard abandoned this idea and destroyed the heavy mech by traditional means such as biotic/grenades/gunfire. EDI was acting like a tour guide during the mission as she liked to point out information consoles. Shepard ignored her advice and walked by these terminals as he'd rather not know what Cerberus were up to including the Lazarus Project.

Found the Human Reaper remains and fought through more Cerberus forces. Then there was a bit of deja vu as Shepard found the Prothean VI and was interrupted by Kai Leng again. Leng didn't have an airship this time and Shepard fought in the memory of Miranda. Managed to do the fight without dying and revenge is sweet as Shepard stabbed Leng "that was for Miranda...". After the fight, Shepard told the Prothean hologram to shut up and headed back to Earth. The Reaper resistance had an EMS of 2001 for the final battle (I probably should have done some side missions to bolster the number up but never mind).

 

Back on the Normandy and Shepard decided to explore the ship for the first time and even had time to speak to the crew. Shepard spoke with Samantha first and she said "it's a little late to request a transfer now". Shepard's negative attitude must have dampened her spirits because she did seem a little depressed when saying this line  . Shepard decided to apologise to Joker (not very renegade-y, I know) for the Thessia argument. Went to the crew deck and realised the Normandy has survived all this time without a doctor, I guess some of the other crew know basic first aid. Finally went to the Armoury and James was a bit snippy by saying "take a wrong turn at the elevator?". Shepard has been neglectful but doesn't appreciate being called out on it so they both threw some punches at each other. Both of them suffered a bloody nose and Shepard left.                   

 

It was the Earth battle and Shepard brought along the Turians, Asari, Salarians and Geth allies to the fight. EDI and Javik were the ground team to take out a Reaper cannon. The Reaper battle intensified as Cortez was shot down by a Harvester and died  and EDI/Javik never commented on it. The banshee at the shuttle crash site was a regular banshee so Morinth might have survived the Reaper War. Got to the FOB and EDI mentioned Cortez's death. Shepard checked the hologram messages but could only contact Jacob which shows the Reaper War has had a devastating impact on his previous squad mates. Spoke with Javik and refused to shake his hand as Shepard remembers Eden Prime where Javik did the same. Nearby, a generic Salarian was inspiring the Salarian troops by saying they will fight in honour of Kirrahe and used the hold the line catchphrase as a tribute.

Advanced to the Citadel conduit and EDI was injured at the halfway mark. Shepard ordered EDI back to the Normandy as her body became non-functional. This caused Shepard to be momentarily distracted and got directly hit by Harbinger's laser. Shepard died three times against the husk triplets and four times against the marauder.

 

Shepard went through the beam and got to the final chamber. Three men managed to get to the Citadel controls but only Shepard survived. Shepard shot both Anderson and The Illusive Man. Anderson's proud of you line and Illusive Man's reflecting on Earth were both brilliant scenes . Spoke with the Catalyst who wasn't a welcoming host with the "Why are you here?" line. The Catalyst didn't appreciate Shepard's presence and was even reluctant of giving Shepard any choice. "You have choice, more than you deserve!" but not enough EMS for the synthesis option. Shepard decided to choose control where he will lose his physical body (die) but will retain some of his awareness. The flashbacks when choosing this option was Anderson, Mordin and Miranda. Liara had a enough of the waiting around and told Joker to leave. The pulse of control echoes throughout the galaxy and the Reapers are now Shepard's pets. The Normandy crashed landed on a planet where Joker, EDI and Javik were appreciating the local scenery.

 

The ending slides showed included: Jacob, a desolate Tuchanka, a depressed sole Krogan, more desolate Tuchanka with dead Krogan corpses and Geth and the Reapers side-by-side. So Immortal Evil Shepard controls a Reaper army and has got them repairing the Mass Relays. The death flashbacks were Tali, Wrex, Kaidan, Eve, Samara and Shepard.

Finally, Shepard's plaque was added to the Wall by Liara as he sacrificed himself to stop the Reapers until he decides to start the cycle again                 

 

So this is my pure Renegade trilogy playthrough done  (I will probably do another playthrough but not sure when)

Today Naomi put her revenge plans in motion. First step was to liberate communication hub on Ontarom. She managed to do it relatively fast, considering constant stupidity of her companions.

Then she followed Kai Leng to the Sanctuary and discovered the sickening experiments conducted there. She cleared the place of Banshees and evacuated Oriana Lawson from the facility.

Poor Xet - it can be frustrating. Pick the wrong dialogue and there you go - someone's dead. It's just the overlords BW pushing buttons. This is all one big experiment on us.

After shooting bottles with Garrus (and letting him win) and having dinner with Kaidan (where she politely ignored his "I understand why you cheated" comment ) Raven Shepard headed back to Eden Prime. Took Kaidan for old times' sake and (no choice) Liara. Not sure why but I always take forever to find the last terminal with the resistance info. This time the last one turned out to be in the building I normally go into first but somehow missed this time around. Really missed having a sniper rifle - she's an engineer so I've got her with smg and pistol only for max cool down time). Anyway, sabotaging Cerby turrets mostly made up for it.  Woke up Javik and brought him on board the Normandy. He was impressed with Shepard's confidence in how the war is going. It's been a while since I got that reaction since I usually go get him asap when reputation is still low.

 

Not sure what I'll do next. Maybe the monastery to get the second store discount and then I can buy all my gun upgrades. I'm still running around with level 1 everything.

me: That helps a lot. We can't directly go after the councilor without further proof.  Kasumi? I like for you to stay on the Normandy where you can remain safe.  These Commandos are the same color as the ones I fought on Feros. It seems there is another Thorian on this Toyous planet.  Have you ever heard of this planet Samara?

Samara: No. I say we investigate, but take every precaution possible. Who knows what we will find?

Petrovsky: Ok Shepard. I will send recon drones to this planet. Hopefully they can tell us what is going on. It will take sometime, so I suggest working on getting the Quarians to help us fight the reapers

me: Hey Sam. What's going on?

Sam: Working on making some more fade touched items. 

me: What is that on your screen?

Sam: That is a sniper rifle. Its a model rarely seen.

Sam: Yes. Its the Barrett XM109. Modified for my use

Sam: Just before the geth attacked or at least Sovereign attack Eden Prime, I was given a mission to kill Admiral Hackett. Before you jump to conclusions. It was because of my work with the fade touched items that I was asked to go on that assignment. The reason was I design a fade touched item for sniper rilfe bullet. A 100% chance to blow up the target and everything within a 5 meter range. I was testing it using the sniper rifle that you see. I had to modify the weapon. It was too heavy for me so I replace some of the parts with lighter materials.

Fortunately the order was never carried out. After the Battle of the Citadel, Alliance Ships were destroyed because of his poor leadership skills. Had he been killed before, those lives would never of been lost

me: I never trusted the guy. That's being taken care of. He's been reduced to a private and on KP while Admiral Petrovsky runs the show. I have an idea about you your sniper rifle.

me: Maybe. I think you will get a shot at using it on someone. Well talk later

me: I do. There is a Cerberus base that contains some reaper artifact. I need you guys to get it. Take care of any resistance however you want.

After a hard day fighting her evil clone, Dahlia Shepard (Flare Infiltrator) decided to relax on the Silversun Strip. She visited a few people and played a few games of claw, because prizes!

 

But then she stopped relaxing when she decided to use her complimentary pass to the Armax Arsenal Arena. She played a few games... then a few more... then played a few more because some people asked politely... because prizes!

 

She even helped out the arena team isolate a leak, which turned out to be a program, which escalated into the arena bots trying to kill her (although that waiver form was really suspicious; it could have been the developers themselves for breaking the maximum score).

 

But Dahlia survived, got her mods, and got out. She is now back on the Normandy and ready to head out to find Dr. Garneau.

Solid plan leaving Leviathan for post-Citadel. It really helps having a few interesting missions to soften the post-party depression and the endgame. Lost count how many runs I have abandoned just post-party.

What about the Raptor? Very light weight, rapid fire. My sniper rifle of choice for Sentinel and Engineer.

He was impressed with Shepard's confidence in how the war is going. It's been a while since I got that reaction since I usually go get him asap when reputation is still low.

His dialogue here is not based on reputation, but where you are in the story. Pre-Coup he senses doubt. Post-Coup but Pre-Thessia he senses confidence. (Shepard has already defeated one Reaper at least.) Post-Thessia I believe it changes again, but I have not done that version yet.

Not sure what I'll do next. Maybe the monastery to get the second store discount and then I can buy all my gun upgrades. I'm still running around with level 1 everything.

What are you spending your money on? Do you do artifact collection and general planet scanning? I generally have everything purchased and leveled before the coup, including the models, aquariam VI, and any new fish. Of course, I generally stick to a limited set of weapons and don't bother leveling weapons only squad mates use. (Generally, I level the Hurricane, Eagle, Raptor, and Harrier, plus the Lancer and Suppressor once Citadel is done.)

My Shepard is suffering from serious Highlander syndrome. There can only be one. Getting The One And Only achievement put a smile on my face when it came up.

 

And damn those pullups. I refuse to leave that bar until Vega is outdone.
