I say bun love also. I always like the idea of it coming down for the LI - maybe not Garrus tho' it could get tangled up with him, or Liara.
That's something I also like about the bun hairstyles: I can imagine my Shepard to have long hair that she lets down in certain (headcanoned) situations. Helps a great deal when I have a pre-defined image of my next Shepard in my mind and then can't get it right due to the limited hairstyles.
That is very true. I like the idea of her having long hair anyway (even though you can see the ears through the shorter one, and I find that so cute!), and if I go with the bun in the end I also have something planned with letting the hair down

Just soloed a bronze match.
Spencer Shepard fought off a coup attempt by Cerberus, recruited Ashley back into the party, went to the Quarians and took down a dreadnought and freed Legion, rescued Admiral Korris, ate a a hotpocket, found out he really likes the N7 leather jacket casual appearance, Tali came up to the cabin to look at the fish, recruited a prothean team member, then went to the citadel to dance with Jack.
Found some facecode converter and boot up ME1 to check that out. It wasn't remarkable or anything. Probably will try that for another BroShep playthough... and I ended up playing Insanity/NeutralRevka... when I should be milking the remaining days of my SWTOR subscription
The moment Revka walk out from the door, she was greeted by the overly friendly lieutenant. Then she saw Dr Chakwas and Ashley and they gossiped about the captain and the 'L2 biotic with chronic migraine' lieutenant. However, Ashley didn't say anything about how dashing the lieutenant looked when he carried the unconscious XO in his arm and the good doctor didn't say a word about a worried lieutenant who stood by her side ever since they left Eden Prime. Nope... nobody is going to tell the clueless commander because the crew need a supply of juicy gossip.
After being snubbed by the politicians, Revka need to work out some magic to nail Saren and she went to Chora's Den to look up on Udina's advice to talk to Harkin but she found an angry Krogan. Of course, the Harkin guy turned out to be a sleaze ball. Should have known not to trust a politician. So she went to Barla Von who lead her to Wrex. Then Kaidan said something about Garrus so Revka had to stop by the med clinic and found herself gate crashing a hostage situation.
Since its a Krogan Ally playthrough, so Garrus had to stay with the doctor while Revka deal with another hostage situation. Which turns out to be another eventful gunfight in the wards, nothing could go wrong when you have Wrex with a shotgun and exploding ammo and Kaidan with an assault rifle and inferno ammo and they both like to throw people around. Enemies is everywhere!!
I wonder where are the shields of that guy...
I meant to play Mass Effect 3 yesterday, but I forgot to switch out the Dragon's Dogma disc and I was too lazy to change it. But I remembered to switch it today, so...
Dahlia Shepard (Flare Infiltrator) woke up from having the recurring nightmare again. This time she even heard Tali's voice, and she had not seen her since she defeated Saren all those years ago. The dream ended with her and the little boy being engulfed by flames. She does not even want to know what that means.
Putting the nightmares behind her, Dahlia and EDI, along with Liara, dropped into Cerberus Headquarters and kicked Cerberus in the balls, to borrow a phrase. They blasted their way through the station, past the remnants of the Reaper Larvae she destroyed several months ago, and into the Illusive Man's office. Quite the view actually.
Dahlia talked with the Illusive Man (through another holographic interface, naturally), and managed to recover the Prothean VI. Kai Leng decided to interrupt the party and tried to fight all three at once. But as the fight proved, what he lacks in brains, he... also lacks in skill. It was no contest.* But in a last-ditch effort to kill Dahlia... he missed and Dahlia shanked him with her Omniblade. That was for Kirrahe.
With Cerberus down and armed with the location of the Catalyst, Dahlia and the rest of the Normandy headed for Earth. In an emergency mission, Dahlia, Kaidan, and Liara shut down a Hades Cannon that was shooting Alliance ships out of the sky. It went relatively painlessly, because Cloak.
Dahlia is now at the Forward Operating Base and ready for the last push to retake Earth. With any luck, I can finish this playthrough tomorrow night or Saturday morning at the earliest.
* I always play a little game during the last wave of the Kai Leng fight: see who lasts longer, Kai Leng or a Phantom. Once again, a Phantom lasted longer than Kai Leng.

DA:O I have modded to the hilt. So easy - install a dazip with the daupdater or put a rar file into the override folder. I want to mod in MEverse but not sure about gibbed or how to use it. Any tips? 
Okay, so this gonna be more of an „What did you do in the ME trilogy last week“ thing, cause I didn’t play much Mass Effect recently, but I finally wanted to write something longer and include a few of my thoughts on the game before I forget everything that happened, so here we go:
First of all: Reyes Shepard met a lot of old faces these past few missions, it’s almost insane when you think about all those weird coincidences…
The first one was Rana Thanoptis, the Asari scientist who survived Virmire where she researched indoctrination and experimented on the captured STG agents. He suddenly turned up in Okeers laboratory, claiming she just wanted to help him save the Krogan race and that she developed the training routine that all of Okeer’s products had to go through before being discarded. She ran off before Shepard could ask any more substantial questions, but she was less tempted to shoot her this time. It turned out that – who would’ve thought? – just as she reached Okeer and got the basic info she needed from him, Jedore decides to destroy his Prototype, leading to the boss battle against her and the Krogans + the mech. I thought this would be more of a problem on Insanity, but I didn’t even die and the game in general seems to be easier then when I last played it on Hardcore. Easy explanation: Fortification. I don’t know why I never chose this bonus talent before, but it makes everything so much easier and basically replaces the missing immunity/shield boost talents from ME1. Also it isn’t lore breaking if I use it with my soldier Shepard, other than every bonus talent except the ammo and grenade stuff.
In the end, Okeer died, apparently by diverting the poisonous gas that was meant to kill Grunt into the room, eventually dying himself. I might have just forgotten, but I think that’s the first time I had Mordin along (who comments on what Okeer did) and realized that Okeer caused his own death instead of being killed by Jedore on purpose. He sacrificed himself to save his son which looked oddly noble to Shepard, but probably it was just his pride and unwillingness to let go of his greatest achievement.
Reyes had been interested in using Grunt against the Collectors the first time Okeer explained what he was and now that he was the only thing to take away from this whole endeavor, she got what she asked for. Of course she didn’t hesitate to actually get her new asset out of the tank on the machine deck, telling EDI to shut the eff up (Reyes is a little prejudiced against KIs and still doesn’t like the idea of having her on board). Of course Grunt attacked and slammed her into the wall, but she didn’t seem to care much, probably due to the kybernetic enhancements given to her by Cerberus. Good thing Shepard is used to dealing with Krogans and quickly convinced Grunt to join the fight against the collectors by offering him the strongest enemy and the best fight he could possibly find. Of course she had a gun aimed at him all along which he seemed to approve of.
And in came a call from the Illusive Man, informing Shepard about an impending Collector attack on a colony called Horizon where Ashley Williams is apparently positioned at the moment. What a strange coincidence…
Anyways, Shepard and crew didn’t lose any time and immediately headed for Horizon and Mordin completed the counter measure against the seeker swarms just in time to test in on Horizon. At the time of Shepard’s arrival, the colony was already under attack and in order to rush through them as quickly as possible and save the colonists, she decided to take her biotic experts along. Jack and Miranda made quick work of most of the collectors if they weren’t currently lying unconscious in some corner without ever being resurrected due to me always trying not to use Medigel so I have some when I need it and to get the +100 Credits from every Medi-Kit… that probably makes me a greedy bastard, but whateffs, the collectors were no match for Shepard on her own either. Jack and Miranda got along surprisingly well, I think Jack only made a remark on the husks being even sicker experiments than what Cerberus did to her or something along those lines, but Miranda gave her the cold shoulder and completely ignored it.
After killing countless collectors and passing by many paralyzed colonists, Shepard and team finally reached the Alliance turrets’ controls and left the technical stuff to EDI, while fighting off countless waves of Collectors. I have to admit that I died on the very first wave of Husks, because I tried to melee them and thought Fortification was ready in case I needed it, but I somehow couldn’t activate it… yeah, that felt a little embarrassing, but I made it on the second try. The collectors left with almost half of the colonists and the mechanic Shepard had met earlier didn’t lose any time accusing Shepard and the alliance for their loss. Shepard dismissed his criticism rather rudely and didn’t let any doubt about herself and the alliance show, eventhough she didn’t feel very proud of her partial failure either. She had joined the alliance and later the mission against the Collectors to protect colonists (like she wished she could have protected her own family back on Mindoir) and make sure, that stuff like this didn’t happen whenever she was there to prevent it. Losing those people on Horizon and meeting the Collectors + Harbinger for the first time made the fight against them a lot more personal to Shepard.
And then there was Ashley of course, who was just as relieved about seeing Shepard as she was at first – Ashley could have been abducted for all that Reyes knew at that point – but quickly changed her attitude towards her old friend when she discovered her connection to Cerberus. They had a rather heated argument over the matter and left on a bitter note, but in the end, Reyes was glad about the chance to check on her and at least have her know what she’s up to with Cerberus. She also mentioned this towards Joker and Kelly back on the Normandy after calling the Illussive man out on his stupid games and not telling her anything about what he’s truly up to with his mission assignments… boy will she be happy after the collector ship.
This post is getting rather lengthy and I don’t have time to go on atm, so I’ll continue another time.

My Xbox died a death the other day, so no ME for... me. 
I'm taking it into the shop today to see if it's just the power pack (probably not) or the whole thing that needs replacing. The worst part? The ME3 disc is still stuck inside the console! Come back to me, my pretty. Hopefully they can get it out, even if they need to rip the machine apart. Luckily, it has an external hard-drive, so I haven't lost my save data or anything. Just precious money, I expect! 
On a side note... I never saw Kelly or Conrad in ME3. Do you think that's a bug? She should be alive, and he was helped out in ME2. I'm rather sad, I like Conrad's cameo. I even made sure the previous games' sidequests were done so he'd survive. No longer Shep's number one fan, I guess.

I have a question for our experts here
For my ME3 Adept playthrough I'm gonna use James permanently and alternate between Garrus and Kaidan mostly. So I thought I'd ditch the Warp Ammo bonus power this time (had it for ME2) because James would have squad Incendiary Ammo and it would be a waste to not make use of it. Garrus and Kaidan can take care of shields/barriers with Overload. Would it make sense to use Energy Drain or would you recommend something else?
Or scratch that idea and just stick to Warp Ammo?

Kelly will only show up in me3 if you had dinner with her.
If Conrad survived through me1/2 he should appear in his spot in me3, you have to look for him in the Refugee Camp the quest doesn't tell you about it.
Today Bruce Shepard did NOTHING because ME3 servers INSISTS on disconnecting, throwing me off SP saves and MP matches alike.

Before she could do anything, Wrex killed Fist without warning. Revka was slightly miffed because he didn't warn her or anything and they have to fight their way out of the den. Thanks, Wrex. They arrive at the alleys only to see the quarian being accosted by one of Saren's assassins and Revka and the gang did some public service. Turns out the girl is handy with her omni-tool and because of Tali's evidence, the council was convinced of Saren's betrayal and Rev got promoted to Spectre status and everyone was delighted except herself and Anderson.
"You're giving me your new ship, Captain?"
"It was fun while it lasted," Anderson grumbled as he passed the command codes to the Normandy. Before the Normandy leave, Rev gave a decent speech to the crew which have nothing about humanity or schtickism and all they need to do was stopping Saren. Everyone still complaining about Anderson being mean? She's meaner.
Because Saren was nowhere to be found, Rev went with Saren's known associate, Matriarch Benezia. Turns out her daughter was stuck at a dig site so Rev set a course to the Knossos system at the Artemis Tau cluster. Oh hey, another Greek reference. Fortunately the area is curiously breathable despite the surface covered in molten lava. After personally mowing through a couple of Geth Armature and Geth rocket launchers for some extra XP, Rev and co. eventually found the doctor who trapped herself inside a bubble.
But that giant laser create a minor seismic event and everything started to collapse. Who the hell put a giant laser in that hole anyway? And the boys started to bond with each other
and they prove that they're better at sprinting for safety as they leave the girls behind.
"Don't forget to pick up the Mako, Joker."
Joker sniffed. "But the volcano is about the explode!"
"I'm not leaving my spanky badass tank behind."
"Alright, ma'am. I'm blaming you if we came out with a fried Normandy."

It couldn't be easier, really. It's just swapping headmorphs in the savegame. Under the 'appearances' tag use 'import headmorph' save as a new savegame in case there's a problem, alt-tab back into ME and load the save with the new headmorph.

Thanks Jukaga - but I really need modding in the MEverse for dummies. I'll take a look at the links birefringent posted and see where that gets me. All I want is some new casual gear and hairstyles. 
Dahlia Shepard (Flare Infiltrator) worked her way through the Forward Operating Base to get to Anderson. Along the way, she used a turret to shoot at some husks and Cannibals.
She finally go to Anderson, and he briefed everyone on the plan. Not much of a plan, but Dahlia has beaten long odds before.
Dahlia took Liara and Kaidan, and together they cut a bloody swath through No Man's Land to get to the Missile Battery, just in time to see the company wiped out. Wonderful. No time for mourning as they needed to get the missiles working. EDI hacked away at it while Dahlia and crew fought off several waves of incoming Reaper forces. EDI finally got the missiles to work and they fired them at the Reaper blocking the beam. All remaining forces fired their weapons and killed the Reaper! not much time for celebration though as they had to make it to the beam to get to the Citadel and then open its arms.
Unfortunately, Harbinger dropped in and killed everyone. Well, almost everyone. Shepard somehow survived -- barely -- and made it to beam. Where she met Anderson and The Illusive Man. The Illusive Man rambled a bit before Dahlia got him angry and she managed to shoot him.
And then opened the arms and the Citadel arms opened. The Crucible docked, where it would soon fire and kill the Reapers to save the galaxy.
And this happened:

Aria: This place needs to be destroyed Shepard. The councilor knew about the reapers for centuries and didn't inform anyone. Her company is a front to build that ship to save asari, but only holds a very few. I doubt we'll ever know if others knew unless they come forward. This whole mess could've been avoided.
Samara: I with Aria on this Shepard. Destroy this place. Kill the asari councilor and put Matriarch Bethesda in her place.
Aria: I like that idea. I can get my people to help make that happen.
me: Ok. Lets get back to the Normandy.
Petrovsky: Are you sure Commander?
me: Yes. That place needs to be destroyed.
Petrovsky: Very well. I will send in the Guns of Navarone. They can destroy the area from orbit. Petrovsky out.
me: Now you will get your chance Traynor. When the asari councilor is seen, kill her. Make sure no one is near her at the time.
Traynor: Yes ma'am.
me: Once you kill her, Aria's people will move in to clean the area up then Thane will bring in Matriarch Bethesda to resume the role of Councilor. If anything seems out of place, let me know.
Traynor: Yes ma'am
me: Grunt? Make sure Traynor gets back to the Normandy safely once the councilor is dead.
Grunt: I will.
Thane: How long will it take to clean up the area?
me: Let Aria worry about that. How you doing Bethesda?
Matriarch: This doesn't feel right.
Samara: Its the best solution. Most asari like you and would have no problem with you being councilor. You will do well.
me: Ok. Traynor has just shot the councilor and Aria has her people moving in. Be ready to move out.
Aria: Welcome to your new office..Councilor.
Matriarch: I...I..don't know what to say.
Aria: You will do fine councilor. You have friends that will help you when necessary
Councilor: Thanks Aria for your help
me: The councilor has been taken care of Petrovsky.
Petrovsky: Good. Her base on Toyous has been destroyed. Any word who the male was that was seen talking when you were on the planet
me: No idea though if I had to guess it was TIM.
Petrovsky: Keep me posted Commander. Petrovsky out
Miranda: I just found out where my sister is Shepard
me: What did you find?
Miranda: She's at Sanctuary and most likely may father is there as well. He's also working with Cerberus.
me: I'll have Snoopy plot a course for Horizon
Traynor: I want to go with you when we get there
me: Ok. You and Miranda will go on the mission with me.
Chef: What can I make for you Commander?
me: I wouldn't mind having a t-bone steak with mashed potatoes
