Revvie found an old friend who kept trying to get himself killed. She taught her friends well.
but not everyone fall into line that quick...
Later Rev went to Citadel to pick up the best thief in the galaxy and they have some grand time shopping and got herself a new hairdo, outfit and a Saren statue for a party...
and BFF Kasumi-chan being badass as usual.
Waiting for suhoor...
Everyone aren't happy about Revvie's new package in the cargo bay but its her ship and she can do whatever she wants anyway.
Then it was time to pick up a new BFF.
While Jeff was happy about the Mega Krogan but nobody like Revka's new addition to her collection of miscreants...
Rev : "We all need a psychotic biotic at one point."
Jeff : "You already have several human biotics!"
Rev : "I need more!"
Jeff : "You're definitely compensating for something...
And he got that one right.
Time to save the loverboy~~
And I REALLY, REALLY want to play that strategy game Traynor was playing in the tournament. Why, of all the arcade games we can play, can't we play THAT one! I love strategy games.
Agreed. I recall my first Citadel DLC run where I went over the arcade with a fine toothed comb looking for the Kapesh-Yakshi game I could play.

Just beat ME3 today.
And I chose the synthesis ending. It's actually the very first time I've tried it since the extended ending came out so I was curious what it was like.
It's interesting, and I think it provides the most to the galaxy as the reapers provide the knowledge of past cycles to advance culture and technology to new heights and synthetics are now well and truly alive. I also really liked that EDI gave us the epilogue.
However, I felt it created a really crappy situation for Shepard and the crew of the Normandy. Tali is now without her beloved Commander Shepard, Shepard's body had completely dissolved so there was nothing to bury, and it actually broke my heart to see EDI comfort Tali and give her a hug, with a mourning look on her face after Tali hung up Shepard's plaque.
I was thinking I still don't exactly like the ending, but it somehow still made me tear up.
Just goes to show that despite everything, I'm still emotionally invested in the series and that I love the games.
I think I like Destroy better than Synthesis though, if only because Shepard taking a breath lets me headcanon that Shepard lives on to a happy retirement with either Tali or Liara....depending on whom I'm romancing that playthrough since those two are my absolute favorite people to romance, and we accomplish what we set out to do, destroy the Reapers.
My only issue with the destroy ending is that it means EDI has to die as well, and that well and truly sucks.
Why oh why couldn't I use the war assets in-game like we could use companions in ME2 to maximize, or minimize, our chances of success?
And seriously, what's the point of the Citadel Defense Force? They don't do a darn thing to keep the Illusive Man from seizing the citadel, or help out Shepard once he gets on.
There's like, millions of residents there, were they all harvested?
Ah well. Playing a few rounds of multiplayer, then I'm debating starting all over with Spacer/War Hero Engineer Shepard, Dragon's Dogma, or starting all over on the Dragon Age series.
I don't get it

Play life is strange. It'll blow your socks off.
I just watched a let's play of episode one and my socks weren't even wrinkled.

It's a great game and I also love it, but imo doesn't touch ME so far.

It's like a Butterfly Effect thing. Changing the past with time travel has consequences in the present/future. That screenshot is from the final scene in the third episode, where there's been a huge change.
Tonight, I did this, whilst listening to this:
And then it crashed. Probably too much sexy funtime.

Thanks - I just didn't know the pic. Googled it, but am of two minds playing it.

Eh, I really liked it, but I guess it is not for everyone.
Videos:
I spoke to both Primarch Victus and Wreav about their requests. Victus was reluctant to tell me anything specific, only that galactic peace depends on it. That sounds like some serious sh*t and I wish he would've told me more, but for now all I know is that I have to get out a turian platoon that crashed on Tuchanka, and not just any, but his own son's.
Wreav told me about rachni presence rumours in the Attican Traverse. How can that be? I killed the last queen, are there still more of those things around?
I visited Mordin and the female krogan in the Med Bay. Mordin told me that Eve's condition is stable for now, but it looks bad for her since Mordin and I destroyed Maelon's data. The cure won't be a problem, but Mordin fears that Eve won't make it through in the end.
At any rate, it is good to have him back on the Normandy. Maybe he could even stay when all this Reaper stuff is ever over. (
)
Then I had a surprisingly great chat with Eve. If all krogan were like her, I wouldn't object a cure. I mean I have no choice right now but to help Wreav with this, but I still think it's a terrible idea. He is full of revenge, and while I can understand that, I have this bad feeling Wreav is gonna be big trouble.
Eve told me about her becoming a shaman, and what she had to do for it. It sounded very harsh, and she must be some tough lady to have gotten through this ordeal. She told me she found a crystal that became her chisel - that she now gave to me with the words "In the darkest hour, there is always a way out".
Wow, I was honestly moved a bit by that and felt terrible now for earlier telling her she's only valuable because she's the key to curing the genophage. She seems so... nice, calm and different from most of the krogan I met so far. She even supported my own views of Wreav, that he's dangerous, telling me about the females' plan to not have children to raise a krogan army. I hope that they can actually manage to do so, that would be a huge relief.
After my chat with Mordin and Eve I visited my crew, witnessed poor Dr. Chakwas have a breakdown in front of Engineer Adams because of her Collector abduction and I asked Steve Cortez to take some time off for himself on the Citadel. Poor guy's been through a lot recently, he needs to get away from all this. I know it first hand it's easier said than done, but I hope he will listen to my advice, maybe it helps a bit. James seemed keen we're headed for Tuchanka soon and mentioned he'd love to be a part of it. No worries there, you will. He's a good soldier and we work surprisingly well as a team. Despite his big mouth I realised early on I can depend on him a hundred percent and that he's got my back. And maybe it has to do with him being the only regular contact during my detention, but I'd really like to get to know him better, I have a feeling there's much more to him than what he shows on the surface.
After that James, Liara and I headed for a Cerberus lab to check out what they've been up to there. Things got pretty hot in there, but we secured some Reaper tech samples and decimated Cerberus numbers further until Cortez got us out of there.
I also noticed my facial scars had returned recently. It is quite fascinating how that works. I had no trouble at all with this during the past 6 months in detention. Now that things got more rough again they returned. I know it's possible to completely heal them any time, but... somehow they are a part of me now. Maybe at some point I can have peace of mind and they disappear anyway... who knows.
Jen Shepard (Biotic/Lash Soldier) explored a shipwreck. She wanted to go fishing, but it started raining hail the size of Reaper ground troops. The Normandy crew did not believe that statement until Steve, Liara, and Javik backed up that comment.
With fishing out of the question, Jen decided to go deep-sea diving instead. When she got back to surface, she told them about the giant sea creature that was the size of a Reaper ship! They didn't believe that tall tale for one second. Good fisher(wo)men know how to tell a story; Jen Shepard is not a good fisher(wo)man.
All right, I will be honest. I struggled a lot on this mission. I really like the Shipwreck mission of the Leviathan DLC and usually try to stretch it out, but today I just kept dying repeatedly and it was not fun. That is the second time during this playthrough (the other was Grissom Academy) where I struggled a lot. There are a few reasons for this I think:
1. I am trying to combo my Lash with Javik's Slam for double detonations. However, I am missing a lot for some reason and not getting them. That is frustrating, not fun.
2. Double detonations can get kind of tiresome.
3. I just cannot find a weapon I like to use on this build. I tried using the Executioner with it today and I was just not feeling it. For shielded enemies, I try to shoot > Concussive Shot to tech burst the shields off so Javik can Slam. I am having trouble doing this for some reason. It is annoying.
4. I am not really liking Lash. I don't know why, but i am just not liking Lash.
This might be a hard playthrough to get through unless I find some sort of fun factor really quick.
I will be playing Omega DLC next with this character and have switched bonus powers to Slam. Maybe I will find that more fun. I can combo with Aria's Lash and Reave.
If that does not work, maybe I will switch to Flare; I had planned to do that in NG+ at some point but maybe I will do that earlier. I guess I will find out.
It gets better after episode one. And playing is better than watching as always
A game should be good from the very beginning. People shouldn't have to wait before a game 'gets good'.
I remember when a friend tried to convince me to play 15 hours of Final Fantasy 13 in order to get to the good parts. I decided to play 15 hours of a game that was good from the very beginning.
That Life is Strange gets better after the first episode is a comment I've seen reflected elsewhere and it puts me off.
The first part of the story is in many ways the most important part. It's the one that needs to grab you, to get you interested in and enthralled into that world and its inhabitants.
I'd be willing to bet that most of us regulars who come here started with the first Mass Effect game. To use a movie example would Empire Strikes Back have been half as good if it hadn't stood on the shoulders of A New Hope.
There is the problem for me with Life is Strange. It's rare to find any comments that say the first episode is good on its own merits, more often than not just that it serves as a bridge into the great story to come. That's the problem for me.
It might be a great overall game but if the first episode isn't as good as the others then I'm not going to be interested.

Oh, personally I was hooked from Episode 1 of Life Is Strange, whereas for ME1 and 2, I quite liked them, but wasn't really completely hooked until 3.
So, sometimes it's worth it to keep going
And now I'm hooked for all 3 ME games all the time, haha.
